Hands Down! The worst Asian food ever to be delivered to my door. Chinese homeless shelters would be embarrassed to serve this rank of inedible cuisine. Tossed the whole order down the garbage chute at first glance. Disgusting!!

Liked this place until I found out they were shut down because of various violations. Did some extra digging and found out that they have violations every single year, one being lots of roaches. Sorry but will not be going back to this place. Shame because I liked their food and ordered regularly.

This has to be the worst excuse for shrimp in lobster sauce...it literally came leaking into my office. Smells horrible and tried the shrimp and it was just horrible. Why they would send something out like this is beyond me.

I have never seen such small chicken wings and legs ever!!! Do not go here!!! They do not give you enough good for the price! Horrible!

The BEST ribs you will find anywhere!!! The decor is meh, but the food is great. Their special fried rice is full of treats, and their ribs, I've never had anything like them anywhere in FL or NY.

I started coming here with with my girlfriend almost 5 years ago. We've come here often since and I admit, we I have not found another Chinese restaurant in the area that compares to China Lane. The special fried rice is out of this world. The pepper steak, shrimp with lobster sauce and beef with snow peas are some of my other favorite dishes. The wonton soup is great too. We usually get take out or delivery but eating in is cool too. The service is always excellent. Delivery is usually very quick as well. So happy I found this restaurant. Can't wait to return!

Great food. The best Chinese ribs and fried rice ever. Large portions and good pricing. I eat here weekly lately and have never had a complaint. Absolutely worth coming here.

Good food and service. Reminds me of the Chinese in ny. The price is right also. The best shrimp with lobster sauce in the area. You can't go wrong here!

I have been eating here for a few years now. Its literally right down the street from me and is a quick pick for days I don't want to cook. They are also reasonable in price. My husband and I have dined in a few times but it lacks a lot in decor and needs an upgrade. Pink tables and chairs. Thought lately, their food seems more greasy and the fried rice is just that, fried rice only! If you get lucky, you will actually see veggies and meat in there. Last few times we've ordered the dinner combinations, we haven't been lucky on getting a lot of pork or veggies in the pork fried rice. After our last take out, we have decided to not order from here for a little while. Maybe one day we will give them another chance but not any time soon.

I was disappointed when I heard about the health violations, like the other reviews have stated. However I was also disappointed with how channel 10 news portrayed the staff here. I've known them for years and they are kind, hard working people. As of October 2014 they have zero health violations. My family ate here about 2 weeks ago and it was amazing! I wish this restaurant much success in the future.

This restaurant has been around forever. We're talking 35+ years. I have pictures of my parents standing in front of China Lane, way before I or my older brother was born. My great-grandmother took me here, my grandparents have taken me here, and while visiting last week, I ate here again. It's a storefront restaurant, with no ambiance, and about 30 tables. There is a slight musty, disgusting smell at the entrance, but no matter. This is basically Chinese take-out quality, but most lunch meals are between $12-$16. The food is all-right, but you can get it just about anywhere else for much less. I wouldn't choose to go here, but I'll probably end up here again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
