An average culinary experience. Very clean environment with friendly and attentive service. Best of the evening was the cerviche...I'd order the corviche fish Diablo next time, instead of the mixto. Grilled corvina was boring. Grilled meat was also average in flavor. But prices were excellent, providing very good value. So, can't complain too much.

This place is very inconsistent with their food and service. Every time I have ordered from here the portions are different. And when you specify something they do not make note. Very rude when I've called to complain. My husband refuses to order from here just because it's convenient. Not worth wasting your money.

Love this place. Order delivery from here probably 6 times in 2 months Everything has been amazing and god bless the order online cause I ordered once on the phone and it was a hot mess with workers not listening, I felt rushed like they were just trying to get me off the phone instead of listening to my problem not to mention the accent barrier Foood is always on point

This place used to be good until I got food poisoning. A year after, I decided to try it again. I ordered pick up and the cashier was not friendly at all. After I got back home, I found hair in my food and called them right away. Sadly, they were unable to help me and kept refusing that the hair came from them. I am beyond disappointed and would never came back here again.

OMG, this place is a joke, had to asked for water, had to ask for sauce, NO BREAD was served when you arrived. Food took too long, my lomo saldado was half/cooked disgusting....I was never asked if I wanted beans with my dish...I hate french fries...on a sauce plate...makes them saggy.... A couple more patrons enter during lunch and asked if they can watch the futbol game out loud...seriously, is this a restaurant to have lunch not your living room...NO CLASS!!! People don't waste your money!!!! After I told the waiter/owner about my un-cooked steak...he just gave me a "what-do-u-want-me-to-do-look" really, that is a health issue to served under-cooked food.!! THE ORIGINAL JOHNSON LOCATION IS way better....This was my first and last time here. I always go the one on Johnson, its been more then 10 years...and their food is amazing...!!!

This spot has a pretty good deal on their quarter and half chicken meals and take out family meal. I have only tried their chicken, rice, and beans. The chicken is rotessoried and super tasty. They have a family take out meal deal for a whole chicken, rice and beans for 4 people, and a 2 liter coca cola for only $13. I gave them only 4 stars because I've never had dinner service there and their rice is sometimes a hit or miss.

There is something not quite right about this place. After reading other Yelp reviews about the double charging we were on our toes when the bill came. We arrived around 8 the place was empty except for one couple. I asked if they carried alcohol free beer and got a look like I just dropped off of Pluto. We ordered the ceviche which turned out to be mediocre at best. My dish was shrimp with yellow rice which was heaped with yellow rice with a scattering of shrimp. It was not bad,but it was nothing special. The one person waiting tables was indifferent at best. When the check came careful examination revealed a double charge for 2 bottles of beer instead of only one, also the gratuity had also been added to the bill, but there was a place for an additional tip. I don't know how this place survives with their business practices....diners beware!

Nothing like finally trying "that little place down the street" and finding a new go-to neighborhood spot for economical yummy. After leaving the nearby Tarks, dejected, hungry and craving seafood (we waited too long to be waited on and bailed), we passed by Cabo Banco, walked right by it and then retraced our steps and decided to cross the threshold. Good move. In summary: healthy portions, reasonable prices, authentic Peruvian ceviche and friendly service. It helped that I speak Spanish because the nice woman behind the counter didn't seem to speak much else . But the menu has pictures so pointing will work fine for hungry gringos. I ordered for my boyfriend- a trusting and hungry gringo. Ceviche mixto for him, classic for me, and a shared plate of fried seafood - mostly calamari, a tender white fish, some crispy yucca and shrimp I think. I can't remember the dish's name but I know the plate was clean when we were done. And barely a trace of oil- super crisp and light and tasty for a fried meal. We felt no greasy remorse. The place is roomy inside if you want to come with a crowd of hungry gringos and an interpreter. We sat at the bar and watched kick boxing in Spanish sipping Dos Equis. Perfecto (for you Gringos, that means it was really good).

Decided to try this place out because it always seemed busy. I was not disappointed. Very clean place, great service, and HUGE portions- especially for the price. ***$1.50 beers from 5-7, so a great place to pregame before hitting up the bars on Hollywood Blvd

We do lunch here frequently. The service is quick, the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. For lunch I have never paid more than $10, the lunch specials are delicious. We even did a catering for the office and the food was on time, delicious and still warm by the time it arrived for our meeting.

Yes, our dinner was good. However, beware that they try to double charge for gratuity. We totally did not appreciate how our server conveniently omitted the itemized bill & the printed receipt reflected "pre-tip" amount when in actuality 15% tip had already been charged. This was a blatant disrespect even after having pleasant interaction with the server throughout our meal. He had to have known he was busted after I asked to see the full receipt again. To our disappointment, we confirmed his alleged intentions were dishonest. Due to this, we will never return.

Had dinner twice already and the reason for that was because the food is good. If it was the food one I would give this place four start. Last nights service was very sad, I thought perhaps the first time we got an inexperience server, but no.. I can see why trend here; a bunch of teenagers who really don't care about the bushiness who have no serving skills at all. Stay away from this place!!!

My first impression was the cleanliness of Cabo, it's super, super clean. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, with the bar making up the back of the restaurant -- plenty of TVs and good Latin music (they were playing Hector Lavoe). The service was great, no complaints since we ordered take out. The menu is typical of Peruvian establishments. You can expect to pay in the $6-$12 range for classic cult dishes like Lomo Saltado, Papa a la Hauncaina, Polla a la Brasa, etc. With that said, you can expect adequate portion-sized meals, cooked and seasoned to perfection. I literally have no complaints for Cabo, this is the place for authentic Peruvian in Hollywood.

They do not deliver which sucks. However I'm very impressed with the lomo Saltado. Meat is tender with a lot of flavor! If your looking for good Peruvian food give this place a try.

Had lunch here yesterday. Initially I wasn't sure because when I arrived there were no customers there. Shortly after ordering my lunch I noticed the restaurant had filled up. Sherry was serving the dining room and had her hands full. Daniel was serving at the bar and took my order patiently. There were so many things on the menu I couldn't make up my mind! I finally settled on the lomo salteado. It arrived quickly hot and delicious. There was a miniature lazy susan with three sauces to add some heat as well. I washed it down with an ice cold Cusquena beer. I definitely will be back to try the other things on the menu. Yummy.

My go-to place. Most of the time consistent. A little slow with service and I believe sometimes they need more than one waiter at a time. Other than that, the food is good and the SAUCE is the boss. I drench everything in it, especially the yellow sauce. I Highly recommend the Jalea de mariscos y pescado (deep fried fish and mixed seafood) as an appetizer. Everything here is correctly priced and portioned.

Cute little place open late. Trying a take out for the first time. We got the Arroz Con Mariscos as a take out because it was late and we weren't too hungry so we just got one order to share. We should have invited friends over because it was huge. The seafood and rice were seasoned to perfection and we intend to return soon!

In from California and wanted to try some Cuban food and this place was close by. Service was a little slow but the food was spot on. We started with the ceviche and it was very good, not over powering spice or citrus. The Lechon Asado was full of flavor and I loved the plantains. I would come back again...very large menu.

Why are there no reviews for this restaurant??? The food is great. And the price is even better. Lunch menu offers a quarter chicken meal for $4.99 served with white rice and black beans. The portions are nice and the staff is super friendly. For an added bonus, on Friday nights they feature a live band or a DJ of some sort. A great meal and entertainment in one!

I give this place 1 star because it won't allow me to put ZERO, do yourself a favor and do not eat here, from a sincere Hollywood neighbor I am giving you fair warning, the sanitary conditions are from a 3rd world country, we saw a freaking roach on our table!!!!! When we called the manager she was rude and refused to talk to us after we killed the roach, Do not eat there, I have already sent a formal complaint to the health dept. and the city of Hollywood to get this place shutdown immediately, I feel sick just to think about what insects or animals roam around that kitchen.

If I was writing a review on the food alone I would give this restaurant a 5 star. BUT, because I am looking at the service as well, it is only getting 4. I work in Oakland Park. A few weeks ago I Googled Oakland park restaurants trying to find a new take-out place and came across Cabo Blanco. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with black beans and rice for take-out and I loved it. Last night was my mother's birthday and we were going to dinner with a party of 6 people. My mom was in the mood for Cuban food and I suggested Cabo Blanco Hollywood (we all live in Hollywood) based upon my take out experience at the Oakland Park location. It far exceeded my expectations food-wise. We ordered 3 appetizers, the ceviche mixto, the Yuca a la huancaina and the chicharron de pecado. All 3 were outstanding. The yucca was cooked perfectly. The seafood was so fresh it melted in my mouth and the fried fish was SO good. They bring a container with 3 sauces to the table and all 3 were delicious. For my main dish I ordered a piece of grilled fish with rice and beans. Delicious. Other items ordered a the table were a seafood paella, a grilled steak, the roasted pork and a chicken dish. Everyone was delighted with their choices. For dessert we ordered the Peruvian donuts and again, they were SO good! So based upon the food alone, it was a GREAT dining experience. As for the service, it was horrible. When we first arrived I asked for a wine list. After about 10 minutes the waitress brought over a wine list that had about 15 different items. But then she proceeded to tell me that they only have 5 bottles of wine available. So I walked over to where they keep the 5 bottles of wine and I picked a bottle. Of course, the one I picked was not on the list. I asked her how much it was and she sad she had to call the owner (on the telephone)..... about 15 minutes later she told me it was $25.00. Great. I said go for it. She brought it to the table (now mind you we had been in the restaurant for about 30 minutes now with no drinks) with only 3 wine glasses when there were 6 of us! We than ordered 2 beers and told her to bring another glass. Luckily it was a screw off top so I was able to pour my own wine, otherwise it would have been another 30 minutes. I thought that was the end of it. Appetizer came out and everything was going smooth. We cleared our own plates since the waitress was not around (mind you there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant) but we were ok with that. What aggravated me the most was that she brought each dish out from the kitchen ONE AT A TIME. So the pork came out first. 10 minutes later she brought out the paella, 5 minutes after that she brought out the chicken than the steak. My mom and I both ordered the grilled fish. Which is actually the easiest thing to cook and we did not get our food till about 10 minutes after everyone else was done. I actually had eaten so much off of everyone elses plates I wrapped up my fish and ate it for lunch today. It was great. But that is not how food should be served at a restaurant. Because the food was so good, I will definitely be going back to Cabo Blanco, but either for take-out or about an hour before I am actually hungry.
