Can we talk about the Williamsburg for a second? SO GOOD! I love this place, my husband and I have been here twice and no complaints! The 2 times we've gone have been for breakfast and for lunch and they're pretty packed but nothing too crazy. The waiters are quick taking you orders and bringing them to you which is probably why it's never felt uncomfortably packed. I'm the type of person that finds a favorite item on the menu and orders it each time and the Williamsburg is my jam! Smoked salmon, cream cheese, sliced tomato, and red onion on your choice of bagel flavor, what's not to love? Also the bagels are pretty think so you walk out pretty full. Don't even get me started on their coffee bar... You can conjure up your own creation of coffee deliciousness there. They've won themselves 2 customers!

I arrived about two thirty on a Saturday to pick up a few dozen bagels. The shop closes at three. Before I get into the reason for this review, the dinning area is not kept very clean, while I will stop in and to bring bagels home which is 12 miles away There bagels r the best I have had in Florida and I have been in Florida a long time. I noticed a crew cleaning the bagel preparation area. What struck me was the area was spotless. I have never seen any good prep area as clean. A big five stars for the best bagels and a spotless prep area

A slight downgrade for this location. On a recent visit the place was just a mess. Tables were left uncleared. The coffee area was not clean. To make matters worse, the store was out of coffee cubistas when I was there! The staff at this location is not friendly or helpful. I actually asked the staff member a question about ingredients (for a friend of mine). The staff member did not know, said she would get back to me, but never did. What a huge difference compared to the Delray location which has always been clean when I have been there (review to follow!) I will still stop by occasionally for an iced coffee...if they have the cubistas next time.

Delicious New York Style Bagels (unique water system) In my opinion this place is a solid 4 stars. The bagels are made with a unique water filtration system that makes them taste different than other bagels you might be accustomed to.... Different in a good way, they just taste better! Upon arriving you'll notice the counter all the way in the back of the restaurant with tv like menus to chose from. I'm a simple person, a bagel with cream cheese and an iced coffee is usually what I order. COME EARLY in the day if you have a specific bagel preference, popular bagels fly off the shelves like the asiago cheese bagel... To me that is the unicorn of bagels here bc I've never seen one (I always end up going at 1pm or 2p, they close at 3pm) Their iced coffee is awesome too! They give you a cup with frozen coffee cubes and let you doctor up you ice coffee at their coffee bar at no extra charge! All in all I would give it 5 stars if they were always stocked up with my favorites, but sadly the popular stuff is hard to come by in the afternoon.

Stopped by early morning before work. Had absolutely no idea what to order, I was just super excited to try their famous iced coffee! The nice lady at the cashier recommend I get the vanilla kaluha iced coffee with vanilla cream-soooo good! I also ordered a poppy seed bagel toasted with cc and the begal was good but there was too much cc! It was so messy to eat :/ But ill be back for more iced coffee!

This is my new breakfast spot! I mean, what's not to love about this place? The prices are very affordable, the food is top notch, and their iced coffee has ice cubes made from coffee. Pair this with their viewing areas (of where the bagels are made and their 14 stage water treatment system) and you've got a spot for all ages. I'm an iced coffee lover and with all the different roasts and creamer options it is going to be a while til I can say I've tried them all. So far the garlic onion with scallion cream cheese is my favorite. The scallion taste is deff there without being overdone and pairs great with the roasted garlic of the bagel.

First timer and I really enjoyed it... ET toasted with cream cheese, smoked salmon and onion.... Fresh iced coffee with coffee ice cubes place was packed on a Sunday at noon but line moved very fast... The place was clean and the food was fresh.... This was my first visit but definitely not my last....

I wish I could post zero stars. This store is an insult to Brooklyn and bagels. I ordered a pumpernickel bagel with nova spread; shouldn't be too difficult, right?! It seems that the cooks preparing the spreads there think that it's okay to include the dark meat, skin and scales in Nova spread. It was absolutely disgusting. I won't ever go back. I suggest you find a better bagel place too. UPDATE. Even though I was promised twice some contact, the company clearly is unaffected by my poor experience. I continue to insist that all find somewhere else to get bagels

After reading all of the reviews about this place I was very afraid of the fact that I had just asked 10 of my friends to meet there for breakfast. I arrived 30 minutes early because I thought I would have to clean tables and wait a little g time to get a table. Neither was true. I introduced myself to one of the employees and told them my situation and they were so nice and accommodating. We reserved 2 tables stayed for 4 hours! The iced coffee is off the charts 10 stars - it is the most perfect iced coffee bar ever! The bagels tasted amazing! The only complaint was they out way too much cream cheese on the bagels. Since we were there so long I had a second bagel and I just ordered my schmear on the side...problem solved. Great place!

Place only got worse. Sad really. Hit bagels are microwaved, staff utterly awful... Won't go again

Went monday to get a blueberry muffin. OMG what happened?? They are sure cutting back on quality..the quality was no where the same. the amount of blueberries have been cut back. I spent almost 4 dollars!!! For a muffin and it was made cheap. The texture tasted like from a box....I will never will come back. Place was empty at noon.

Great food-worst service ever. Literally fifteen minutes waiting at the counter for one bagel to go.

Well, to my surprise, they reopened! Let's start with the good this time...COFFEE!!! I'm an iced coffee junkie, and this is most certainly the place for me. Their ice cubes are made of coffee. Gimmick? Yeah, ok, probably. But who cares? Anybody who finds a way to give me more coffee in my coffee, or improve my iced coffee experience in any way, will certainly see me again. Now the negatives: I was quite underwhelmed by the bagel. This is fast food, and not up to par with any Brooklyn bagel joint (or any Florida one either, for that matter). I asked for my bagel well toasted. I was totally ignored. Zero effort was made. I ordered whitefish. Not cheap. Not supposed to be. But the flavor was lacking, and the amount they put on the bagel was quite stingy. This sandwich will not be accompanying any of my future iced coffees! I might go for a bagel with cream cheese to give them another try, but you can bet they will get it back this time if it's not toasted well. No table service here, and an awkward layout puts you in a back room to eat. I will be saying "takeout" whenever I come here again. It's all about the coffee!

They have a good priced "Baker's dozen" here for about $11. The Bagels are much bigger than you would find at Einsteins.

I've eaten here several times now for breakfast quickies and the service is shall we say improving. Food wise its 5 Stars service 1 star so we move to the average 3 stars so to speak. First off its fairly cool to be able to watch them make the bagels in the various steps behind the glass wall and they have now opened the side dining room to the left of the cashiers. You place your order and sometime in the near future they give you a # for your table inside or out and a server brings your food to you. You do prepare your own coffee via the various types of assorted coffees along the wall. I'll keep this short as we aren't talking 5 star dining. The Regular house blend coffee the only one I've sampled on multiple trips is simply some of the best coffee around. It blows Starbucks away and Dunkin Donuts does not run a close 2nd.. This is enough alone to make me go back. The bagels themselves hands down are the best in Florida and rival anything I can get up north. To the extent you simply can't deal with the humidity down here so they will never have the tougher texture that we want from a North East Bagel. With that said they are excellent. The salads are better than average but the breakfast egg sandwich is a definite PASS! Egg is like rubber after its nuked. Real winner is the potato Kinish. OMG outstanding. Downside Service is challenged. I have now on 3 occasions after my first visit asked to please make sure the bagel is sufficiently buttered. Every occasion there is barely enough butter to be noticeable. Then they have no problem giving you a large butter in a to go cup to add more to your bagel. It makes no sense. If their goal is cost cutting by skimping on the butter, why give you a large extra butter that most of it gets thrown out. Just simply put enough the first time around and your good to go. Bottom line service has been better still can't get the butter thing right and coffee is really out of this world. I'm a fan!

One of the best bagels in town. Good black & white cookies, muffins and bagel sandwiches (like whitefish salad, nova, corned beef, tuna, etc). Their whole shtick is how Brooklyn (New York) water is what makes a great bagel. Its just too bad that the restaurant is about as clean as the SUBWAY! Sure, makes for an authentic NY experience. But personally, I would rather not wash my own table before eating.. and wade through trash on the floor to get to my table. And for the general manager who one day will be reading this post... you might want to change your gloves in between handling money and peoples food. Yuck! Clean up your act and its worth an extra star!

I've tried and tried to give this place another chance, but I keep coming out with a bad experience. 1. The coffee is horrible. The flavors are the worst. They used to have fresh OJ now it's bottled. No thanks. 2. Always running out of bagels.... How does that happen?? You are a bagel shop, you don't close for another 2 or more hours.... MAKE MORE. 3. The line always takes 15 mins or more, whether one person is ahead of you or 10. Don't go if you are crunched for time. 4. In the past they packaged their schemers and you could get the size you wanted... now they are pre packaged and you get what you get. Not the same. Not sure if I will return.

I struggled with the stars here- but I really have experienced better... My expectations were high as I walked in and saw how busy it was- and all the bagels being made on premises. But the proof is in the bagel - which was - meh. Kind of small. Asked for salmon and shmeer - or whatever their equivalent is - can't recall. It was average - a bit over toasted - and it took a long time. Something happened as everyone behind me was served first. The staff is also a bit of a bummer - not rude, but not really friendly either. I will come back and try something else- maybe a lunch sandwich and an ice coffee to give the place another try- but for now- it's a strong Meh...

Came in around 11:30 on Sunday and it was packed with a huge line. There were lots of employees milling about and you could see in to where the bagels were being made which is cool. Though the guy was shooing away a fly... Not sure how sanitary that was. The line did not move fast at all. While waiting I noticed the coffee fixing station which has literally everything you would ever want for a hot or iced brew. Though I was getting a to go order I noted a large seating area to the left of the register that you wouldn't know was there from looking at the exterior. Also tables and chairs outside. For the most part only one register was open and all it took was one indecisive person to completely debilitate the line. With the large tv screens broadcasting the menu I don't know how you can get to the register and still not know what you want but that's a different review for another forum. I'll admit I've never had a bagel in Brooklyn but have very fond memories of what I enjoyed in New Jersey for several years and was hoping this would be similar. Sadly it was not. The bagels were small and had an exterior similar to that of a pretzel. The egg sandwiches are made with what tastes like a nuked scrambled egg patty. It reminded me of that contraption they sold on infomercials that made omelets in the microwave. There's no actual strips of bacon, instead it is all crumbles up into the patty... Which is like 1+ inch thick. The best part was the American cheese. Considering this takeout haul took 45 minutes between standing in line and getting the food (not including travel time) I will pass next time. I would only consider going if I wanted iced coffee and even then cannot imagine waiting in that line again.

Oy Vey ! My ham and cheese on rye had processed american cheese food on it. For $12.00 for a coffee and a sandwich, it would have been nice to have actual cheese, and not american.

This is my favorite coffee/bagel/muffin shop. I absolutely love this place and each time the food is on point. We come on a weekly basis, and if not we HAVE to come at least once a month. The best is the cubsta iced coffee and their pumpernickel bagel. Oh, and you got to try the dark chocolate chip muffin, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you Brooklyn bagel

One of the better breakfast places I would recommend in the area..I wonder took my mother and sister for our first time trying out the place, at first a long line all the way to the door almost had us turning around and go for another place but instead we waited and line moved fairly quickly and it is interesting seeing how they water, prepare, mold their bagels to the right as your approach the register and see all of your options for coffees to the left as well. I'm not a big coffee drinker at all but my mom and sis had hot and iced and they both had good reviews on their end. I enjoyed a bagel sandwich of egg sausage and cheese..no negatives about this place!

Hands down best Iced coffee I have EVER had. Once you get the ratio down, be prepared to never want iced coffee from anywhere else. I'm talking even better than Starbucks. Now overall I'm not a fan of this location. The one in boca is much nicer, and has much more selections for creamer and coffee and additives. The food is only ok. The bagels are good but I'm not a fan of their cream cheese. Anyways back to the coffee: -step one: order the cubesta -step two: marvel over the huge ice cubes made of coffee -step three: fill halfway with the caramel, Kailua, vanilla blend -step four: fill the rest with medium roast blend. -step five: fill with vanilla creamer until it's the color you desire. -step six: add one pack of equal and one pack of brown sugar -step seven: drink and be happy :) -step eight: never deal with melted, watered down iced coffee ever again!

Normally I love this place but today was a let down thus losing a star. The meatlovers bagelwich was a lie!!! Barely any meat (sad face). But at least everything else was good.

WOW a 5 star review.....before you get so excited I am only rating the BAGELS as a take out. Whenever I get within distance of a BROOKLYN WATER BAGEL shop I buy a dozen and freeze them These are as close to NY style bagels as you can get in FL...they leave Einsteins way in the distance....for the same price they are MUCH better, and BIGGER also..

This was a good place. Not enough seating, which I suppose is not their fault. Took a little while, but we snagged two tables outside. There were a lot of options and the bagels were good. Not a sit down and get waited on restaurant. Order, wait for order, find a seat.

We have been coming here since it's first grand opening. Took a break while they figured some difficulties, and came back as soon as we found out that they were open again. Truly, these bagels taste AMAZING! They are exactly like NY/ NJ bagels so you aren't going to get the same experience anywhere else. The staff is always friendly especially the owner. They have an extensive breakfast/brunch menu with all different choices for eggs, vegetables, and cheeses on a bagel of your choice. My two favorite items are the iced coffee and the salmon spread. -They make ice cubes out of coffee and pre-package them into plastic cups. If you are an iced-coffee lover like myself- this is fantastic. Your coffee is not going to get watered down! I have found it helpful to put some hot coffee into the cup to loosen the ice cubes first, and then put the same selection of cold coffee into the cup since the ice cubes tend to get stuck together and then you cannot get your straw in. I love their coffee blends. -The salmon spread is made with pretty decent sized chunks of actual smoked salmon. This is the best spread I have tasted in all of the bagel shops that I have gone to. If you like lox or nova on your bagel, but don't want to pay $$$ for whole pieces of salmon, then try this spread. The baked goods are also pretty good. I'm not the biggest fan of their dining area, but we're not talking about fine dining here- and it is not horrible, just not horribly comfortable.

It's really a 3.5 - but for the most part I round up. Now, I love that the iced coffee here has coffee ice cubes (genius!) but the couple times I've been here, I can't seem to get the ratio of coffee to cream correct. This is my fault as you serve your own coffee. I think a few more tries will help me get the right recipe down. I've also had two bagel sandwiches. 1) Monte Cristo - had it on a plain bagel (wish I had gotten a sweet bagel!) and comes with ham, turkey and cheese. Tasty! 2) Bacon, egg and cheese - It was good! Had it on an everything bagel. The staff here is never hot-nor cold. They kind of just take your order, and keep it moving along. I get it, it's busy - but would it kill ya to smile? They have a little dining area off to the left with tables. There's a great mix of of folks in here - different age groups, different ethnicities - I guess coffee is universal. I'll be back ( a little out of my way, so not sure how soon) but I will master the iced coffee!

A buddy with an affinity for food posted about this chain. He visited the Coral Springs location. My review is for the location on Stirling Rd. We were a party of 4. We ordered some bagel sandwiches and some omelettes. We waited half an our for our order. When placing the order we were informed that the eggs were microwaved. To most this may not be a big deal, but to me it was. It was a turn off right away. The bagels tasted ok, but not worth the wait or the drive we took to this location. I also ordered the iced coffee. It was good, and the flavor was not diluted due to the coffee cubes. The coffee dispensers however were filthy! I gave the place two stars because they had ample seating in doors and out, and the server went out of her way to offer us a cookie to compensate the long wait.

Omg where have they been all my life!?!!! We have lived here for a year and never heard of it. We bagels are delicious and the breakfast bagel is a super thick layer of egg, very yummy. Totally coming back here!

Every time I go there it's amazing! Yummy and hot bagels! Always make sure to get he coffee, it's amazing! The service is quick, but on weekends it's very busy and they sometimes sell out of bagels so get their early!

BEST breakfast bagels in S. Florida hands down! They 're DELICIOUS, always fresh with a perfect chewy texture, and they have a huge selection of other bagels, stuffings and add-ons. The coffee is good too. Never had any problems here, I've been several times and always get served pretty quick, the outdoor seating is really nice on a sunny winter day (S.Florida winter that is) .

I'll just cut to the chase... On my first visit, customer service sucked. No one said good morning or smiled, etc. I ordered a plain bagel toasted well done and buttered. Waited a lot longer than I should've but the bagel was tasty. Let's face it, you can't really screw up a bagel. On my second visit, customer service was the same. No one wanted to be at work, I guess. Ordered the same thing. Waited awhile, recieved a white bagel with little to no Brown markings, and so much butter that it dripped from the bag and the napkins from all the times I had to dab it. Might as well go to Einstein's and call it a day. :-/

I'm a fan of iced coffee but when my iced coffee has ice cubes made of coffee, I become a little coffee crazy! Who came up with this amazing idea where my coffee stays cold and never gets watered down? It's ingenious. It's simple. It's PERFECT! As a result, I come to Brooklyn Water Bagel to get their iced coffee CUBSTA. That is all. The coffee tastes amazing. The Kona blend with Kahlua and hazelnut is usually my go to. They have liquid sugar already made and easily dispensable so you're not taking five years and forever to prepare your iced coffee the way you like it. Why the 3 stars you ask? The service here is ATROCIOUS! I've seen better service at Checkers. The employees are rude, have no desire to serve you or do their job and you'd think that you were asking them to help you hide the body the way they look at you when you ask a question or place an order. Yeesh! If you don't like your job, quit like most people but don't come to work spoiling my day with your despicable attitude. Ughhh! It annoys me but then I take a sip of my coffee and forget about it in the meantime until I go back again and the whole agonizing cycle begins all over again! The bagels here are pretty good with a decent size. I've only had the cinnamon raisin one and it's always been good. I'm sure the others are just as great. I mean, it's a bagel. If you're screwing that up, you cannot legitimately call yourself Brooklyn Water Bagel. It would defeat the point of you being in business. I always see people ordering their sandwiches too but at their prices, I'd rather go home and make one with my Lenders Bagels that I have in the refrigerator. If you like iced coffee, it's worth heading over there and giving it a shot but I wouldn't go out of my way to get here or anything like that.

  • Brett S.

The best bagel hands down I've ever had in South Florida. It actually ranks pretty high compared to the bagels I've had in NYC as well. They ship in water from New York to make the bagels. This is what gives them a great taste and texture. It's all about the water! The iced coffee is awesome. They freeze coffee into cubes and use it as ice. I think this place is better than Sage in Aventura which was my number 1 before this place.

  • Jonathan G.

Bagels are great service is horrible. Lines are not efficient. We pre ordered a dozen bagels a week in advance before fathers day, when we got there they gave away the pre orders and to make it worst they did not have any bagels left. You can manager does not care because of his attitude about not trying compensate us or even apologize. Horrible service, but hey if you want a good bagel go there.

WHY IS THERE NOT ONE OF THESE IN MIAMI? I drove from south miami, went out of my way, when heading up north to get my fix of iced coffee and one of their chewy bagels. My friend introduced me to this up in boynton Beach and the chewy bagels and coffee iced cubes keep me coming back. MUST try a cubista. MIAMI needs one, now.

***PLEASE make sure you check your order before you leave. They tend to make a mistake 90% of the time*** They have the BEST bagels you'll find down here, hands-down! I don't know if it's because of the "Brooklyn water" or because they cook them the correct way, but the bagels are GOOD! (if you're not familiar with this place, they treat the water so it has the same mineral content as water found in Brooklyn...) They don't have a plethora of cream cheese options like the bagel joints in NY have, but whatever. DARN GOOD BAGELS. Here's the thing about this place, though... THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I am not exaggerating. I just don't get it. I've seen staff arguing back and and forth. They mess up orders on a regular basis (see my tip at the top?). If you point out their mistake they give you attitude. If you mention it to "management" nothings changes. Read the other reviews, it is a common issue here. If their bagels weren't so darn good I would never go back... BUT... like I said, they have the best bagels around. OH - almost forgot... GREAT Iced Coffee! The ice cubes are made from frozen coffee, so it doesn't get watered down as the ice melts. Genius. If it wasn't for their horrendous service I would give this place 5 stars...

I've eaten there several times and the restaurant is FIlTHY! I addressed the management and was told they were too busy to clean up. I emailed them the last time I ate there and got no response. They have good food and great iced coffee, but I'm repulsed by the lack of effort to keep the restaurant clean. Too bad, we need a place like this in Hollywood.

There's something in the water!~ If you love bagels, then you have most likely been to NYC and have tried their fantastic bagels which obviously is a fantastic experience, but on the other hand, leaves you sad because you know that there is nothing like this back home- well, that was until Brooklyn Water Bagels came into town. BWB brings the NYC experience to you by having water transported from New York and put into a special water pump to give these bagels that traditional amazing taste. There is definitely a noticeable difference in taste from this place and all other bagel places in South Florida. The sandwiches are pretty decent. I usually get one in the section for protein. I like to at least think that I am doing something healthy for brunch. A little egg white, chicken, veggies and cheese on a delicious bagel. What could be better? All that with coffee! There is a variety of coffee available here. I enjoy the banana one. I think that coffee should always be served hot, but since the debut of my son, the wife has taken up drinking iced coffees- this place knows all about iced coffee and pre-makes coffee ice cubes. Usually this is a great idea- this weekend there must have been a fridge malfunction because some of the ice cubes looked like they had melted and refrozen, and all the coffees in the freezer looked as if a windstorm had struck inside- she wasn't sure about it, but took one anyway. Everything worked out fine, so- hope that next time we go that the iced coffees are back to their normal pristine condition.

The bagels are good, I like Manhattan Bagel better. However, Manhattan Bagel doesn't have a convenient location to me. Brooklyn Bagel is ironically THE place for ice coffee - The Cubesta. I go here for the second best bagel in South Florida and the best bagel that is convenient to me.

  • Jason B.

This place has the worst service I've ever experienced. Every time I go here I have to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes whether there is a line or not. So last time I went I decided to pre-order over the phone before I went in, so I didn't have to be late to work this time. When I got there, my order was never put in, so it wasn't ready. Of course they made me pay before I found this out, so I had to get a refund, and they expected me to wait 20 min for a scooped and toasted bagel. The bagels here are not what their cracked up to be, and it's mainly just a bunch of hype. I'm gonna stick to Bagels and More because they have a real staff of waiters and waitresses, and they actually care about their customers. Burger King has better service than this place. Never going back!

UPDATE: Service has gone downhill big time! My wife and I are regulars, we were going to this place every week. Today there was a long line, but no matter how long the line, I get my food within 15 minutes or so... not today. I had waited the usual 15 minutes and asked how much longer, another 15 minutes or so I was told. WHAT? They were telling all the customers at least a 35 minute wait on EVERY order! Unreal! I have never been in there and heard such a thing no matter how long the line. Many people left, myself included they promptly refunded me. The cashiers did an excellent job getting through the lines BTW, but the kitchen staff was so incredibly slow, this was the clear cause of the backup. One person complained to a manager who did very little to help, told them that "they were working on it." Management used to do more to expedite orders, not today! 2 stars is for the food, ( food four stars, service -2 =2 stars) I may go back during the week again because I do enjoy their bagel sandwiches.

I come back here for the food, because it's definitely not for the service. Their bagels are amazing and usually on point, I always get the bacon and egg sandwich which is my favorite. Also, for coffee fans (hot and iced) their coffee bar is spectacular. I always get the iced coffee because the ice cubes are made out of coffee! My favorite thing about BWB hands down. Another thing I like is the cleanliness. You will most likely see an employee cleaning a table or picking up after a customer. The service is OK - nothing to brag about. The wait for my food is longer than it should be & some of the employees are sort of rude. I know someone who used to work here and said that management is not all that great, either. They even closed down for a few months because there was a big fight between the owners. So I can see where it stems from. I would definitely recommend that you check out BWB because their bagels are great and the coffee is, too. Just don't expect great customer service.

great bagels, but why no capers on the sliced nova bagel sandwich. It makes/breaks the sandwich.

  • Malory K.

I'm so glad I gave them another chance. I have been in a few times since my last review and the service has vastly improved! Still a bit awkward to wait for a to go order, but you can sit at the barstools near the coffee bar if it's really busy. Speaking of coffee, I finally tried the iced coffee and it lived up to the hype. They have cups ready with frozen coffee ice cubes, so as your ice melts instead of watering down your coffee, it just adds more cold coffee. Several flavors to choose from and flavored creamer as well. I've also started getting an egg sandwich on a bagel instead of the omelette platter option. So good! Nice chewy bagel, hot fluffy egg, melty gooey cheese. If you're taking it to go, they also cut it in half after they wrap it which makes it easier to eat on the go! In summary, still good food and coffee with much better service!

Wonder what makes the water from Brooklyn so special... or do I ??? LOL. I heard about this place and had passed by it the other day. This morning I had some time before work and decided to go. The interior is like walking into a bakery warehouse. Brooklyn water filtration on one side and the bakery stations on the other. There was a guy kneading dough. I love the bagels, they are soft and fresh and light-ish. Guess that's the water's fault LOL. The cheddar cheese is real real cheddar cheese not the processed b.s. I can smell the difference. For the price, my breakfast sandwich was enormous!!!

This place is a joke. Bagels medicore. Service awful. Our filthy table was never cleaned . Jumping up and down every five minutes. We waited for 10 minutes online another 25 minutes to get a buttered bagel (all out of sesame by 1:00 ). NOTHING SPECIAL GOING ON HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU WANT A DECENT BAGEL...it's so not worth the wait. They are playing on the wishful thinking of customers who long for good ny deli. Also only one bathroom for men and women.

I really do love this place. The bagels are very delicious and are comparable to my hometown in NY. The ice coffee is amazing and they use iced coffee cubes so your coffee doesn't lose its flavor over time! best nova cream cheese as well

Found this place on yelp and after reading that the people are rude, I decided to try it anyways. We drove right by the place, because some genius thought it was a good idea to put white lettering on a white background. Anyhow, the food was delicious and the iced coffee was the best I've had. They have freshly squeezed orange juice too. The decor is pretty cool and the idea of making fresh bagels in front of the customer is a great business tactic. As for the service.....well let's just say they're lucky their food is good cuz they'd go outta business real quick.

Updating this review after 2 years. Unfortunately I can't say anything has changed. They still have the best bagels in town and delicious iced coffee (try the khalua blend). They have managed to stay open regularly but their service has not improved. They are still incredibly slow at getting out simple orders. Saw a customer today get irate at a manager for waiting so long for his order. My advice to management is to get someone who really has experience expediting service and organizing the team.

Brooklyn Water Bagels bakes BAGELS. Not bread or rolls shaped like bagels (Panera, Einstein, etc.), but real, genuine New York bagels. They do it by building a huge and intricate water filtration system that adds minerals and purification to replicate wonderful NYC water. The bagels are made and baked on premises and are chewy and blistered with water bubbles on the outside just like you would find at New York's best bagel stores. They recently streamlined their menus and for a very misguided reason, removed Nova Scotia (smoked salmon, lox) and bagel from their choices. Without doubt, this was one of the most popular items. They also removed some great sandwiches such as their bagel Reuben which was a specialty of the house for years now. In the Emerald Hills neighborhood of Hollywood, this store is in a wonderful residential neighborhood surrounded by lovely homes and Synagogues. Many of the loyal legion of patrons are Jewish and hale from Brooklyn, Bronx or Queens originally. But regardless of your ethnicity or religion, you owe it to yourself and your family to try a REAL bagel, not the bagel shaped bread normally found in Florida. (Mo's Bagel Deli in Aventura and Bagel Bar also serve real bagels, but still not this good).

Omg, this place is fantastic! I am so glad I found this place. I was amazed at the great smells when I came in. It was like a candy store for adults. I ordered The Nova with an Everything Wheat Bagel. It was amazing. The wait was a bit long but totally worth it. While waiting I decided to try the famous chocolate egg cream soda. I liked the idea of making it myself, however if the cashier didn't show me (which she was more than willing to show me and made it look fun) I wouldn't have know where to start. It wasn't the best. Maybe I'm not used to the flavor. I also bought a tub of their cream cheese and nova to go with some more of those wheat everything bagels to take home. Again, like candy for adults. Their lox is so fresh and tasty! Can't wait till breakfast. Other than the wait, which tells me this place is in high demand, I will return.

I was pretty excited to try their coffee after reading all the reviews...unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. I tried both the traditional "hot" coffee and the famous "iced". They were both alright. The flavor wasn't great and it was warm not hot which drives me nuts. The iced coffee was a bit better probably only because of their coffee ice it didn't get watered down. The good news is my bagel and cream cheese was pretty good. I would go back for bagels...not so much the coffee.

First timer and absolutely loving this place !!! The coffee is ridiculously good with the coffee ice cubes to the create you own coffee just how you like it. Giving this place a 5 star!!!! Super clean too.

OMG....the iced coffee here is to die for,and I often take the drive just for the coffee. It's really unique, they use FROZEN ICED COFFEE CUBES instead of regular ice cubes in their iced coffee. How cool is that??!! Always seem to end up getting the same thing, one of their bagels toasted with Nova cream cheese spread. It has to be one of the BEST Nova spreads around. My family have tried the sandwiches and seem to enjoy them, my major complaint here is the price of their food for what you get. They offer you absolutely nothing with their sandwiches which are about 7-8 bucks. I mean, come on, will it kill you to put a pickle or some chips on the side?!! That being said, I am woefully addicted to their iced coffee,so I am willing to forgive them for their overpriced food. But only because of the iced coffee!!

Real nasty owner! Don't bother giving your money to this man. He is rude and unwilling to help out customers. He will avoid eye contact with customers. Please note that you are bothering the owner by eating at his restaurant.

It's a bagel. They're good. What is with all the complex reviews. They have the right amount of substance and chewiness. I don't really buy into the whole 'Brooklyn-ized Water" business, but I do know the Bagels are good. There is plenty of seating, and you can see into the kitchen which is entertaining as well as proof of a clean work area. I took one star off for speed. A real New Yorker, which this place is sure to attract, will not be happy to wait more than a NY minute for their food. In short, These Bagels are quite good, and they are made fresh throughout the day. There are not a lot of other fresh boiled bagel bakeries out there - for now I appreciate the one I've got close by.

Maybe I am just not a connossieur of bagels, or perhaps it takes a lot to excite me in the category of food. (Which it does) But it is a good bagel joint. I love the interior (always the first thing on my checklist). The view of the bagel making process is neat-o Of course the bagels are craveworthy but the real hook line and sinker for me was there iced coffee. HANDS DOWN THE BEST ICED COFFEE you will ever touch your little taste buds with. It is definetly worth stopping in, or going a little further past your normal breakfast stop. Smiles across the board.

Love their bagels not the location. They only have the original simple syrup for ice coffee, unlike the west palm location where there are numerous flavored syrups to choose from. Their ice coffee cubes are pre-stored in cups and put into the freezer unlike the west palm location where they pour out fresh ice coffee cubes per order. My coffee cubes were so frozen, they were all stuck together making it hard to stir my coffee. Nonetheless, the coffee and bagels are always good, just wish there was a location closer to my house.

The next best think to a NY bagel. Amazing coffee & the bagels are always made fresh! The pickles are so good & my favorite is their tuna bagels!

You can't go wrong here for your typical bagel and cream cheese order and the iced coffee is the bomb! I've never had an issue with the service, it's the same girls at the counter every time I go and they are always pleasant and friendly. It's pretty small inside and definitely no frills but they have the best bagels I've found on SoFla.

Hey was there for first time today, the sign out front is very hard to see from road as the store sits back far from road. Also the sign is same color as facade of building not great thought went into it. When I went in to place order know one told me they give you a number to put at table, so I waiting arounds the register I was eating in. The bagel are not hand made but machined made. I am from Brooklyn overall not bad What I liked is you can make your own egg creams that was great.

Good morning may I help you? Yes - I'd like a Whole Wheat Bagel with Cream cheese to go. Not toasted. You want an everything bagel with cream cheese? No I said a whole wheat. Do you want that toasted? I just said I did not want that toasted, no... Is that for here? No - I just told you it is to go... Young lady proceeds to yawn openly and loudly while taking my money... Then wipes her nose and eyes with her bare hands as she puts my bagel in a bag... And that's the way they roll at Brooklyn Bagel...!!! I will say - the food is decent though.. On my next visit...... Good morning may I help you? Yes - I'd like a whole wheat bagel to go, butter on the side, not toasted. Ok but you need to give me exact change - my manager isn't here and I have no money. She's not here? It's after 7:00 a.m..... I know - she's late......... And that's the way they do it at Brooklyn Water Bagel. Early morning cashier is absolutely awful. Touches her face and nose while helping you...... I mean seriously....

These are really, really tasty bagels - nothing like the other chain places! Most people can't taste the difference, so for them it's just a good bagel. But for people who know bagels (you'll know if this is you), these are way above the average. They are fresh, moist, chewy and soft. They are obviously baked fresh, and you can even watch them being made, courtesy of large, plate glass windows. They know how to make a bagel, even with a simple shmear; it has to be the right amount, spread evenly. They get it done perfectly. The bagel sandwiches are great; loved the tuna melt! You can make your own NY egg creams, as well as cherry coke - from Fox's Ubet. This place is the real deal: welcome to the area!

If you're craving a yummy bagel, this is the place! So many great things to say about this place. The service is friendly and wonderful. From the first time you go there, you already feel at home! Not only is everything delicious, but there is a HUGE selection of bagels and bagel sandwiches. Whole Wheat Everything is my favorite. Get it with egg and cheese, or nova and tomatoes. Don't forget the strong, flavorful coffee. A great selection there, too. First non-chain that I have found that offers SOY CREAMER on tap! Not extra, but free with all the other creamers you could want. This might be a small thing, but for someone who doesn't do dairy milk, this is a true gem! The New York-feel is really felt throughout the place, being located near Kosher delis and with a warm atmosphere. Wish they would open another location near me!

Best iced coffee, bagels, and tuna in town! Trust me! Their muffins are also amazing too! If you're trying to be on the healthier side, you can get your bagel scooped for half the carbs as well. The place is very clean, you can watch them making the bagels in front of your eyes, and they have historic pictures of Brooklyn everywhere which gives it an authentic feel. They have pretty courteous people working here for the most part and I would recommend this place to anyone. I need coffee everyday and this is the spot I come to.

People, its counter service. Of course the employees aren't going to bow down to you and kiss the ground you walk on. The bagels are great, nova's good too. They give you iced coffee cubes!!! What's not to like?! Plus I got to provide commentary on the pictures of old school Brooklyn around the restaurant.

Delicious bagels. I am a Floridian, so I can't compare to NY, but my friends all tell me these taste like the real thing. They are more dense than other bagels and they put sesame seeds on both sides, which I really like. The iced coffee, aka a cubesta, has frozen coffee for ice cubes (gotta love that!). Different varieties of coffee and creamers. Coffee is rich and good. Skip the egg sandwiches....three eggs is too much for the bagel and the eggs are rubbery...its a waste of a delicious toasted sesame bagel dripping with butter! Environment is cute - a few shady tables outside, or sit on the counter and watch them make the bagels - cool for a foodie like me. Sevice is typical fast food service variety.

I have heard really good things about Brooklyn Water Bagels special process so when I heard they opened I decided to stop in. Plenty of seating outside you place your order and then they bring it to your table??? Ordered a Everything bagel with a smear.... What's a smear ok it's only over your head cream cheese.....Bagel with Cream cheese and Matins apple juice $5.50 Was in a hurry for poker tourney so I think I was charged for full order of cream cheese and not a smear. Order taker asked toasted or scooped....I never understood why anyone would toast fresh hot bred out of the oven. Get a plain bagel send it back get my bagel cream cheese 1' thick definitely not a smear. Get my bagel its tasty and has some texture but not anywhere near as thick skinned or dense and meaty like a bagel from Sage on Hallandale beach Blvd.

When Bryan and DeeDee ran the place it was nice . Once management took over it went down hill, the new help does not know what the are doing, they are very rude! Yesterday I was looking for a table I have two leg braces on one of the workers there keep say to me excuse me twice basically to move out of his way , there was no place for me to move he was nasty to me. I will never step foot in that place ever again and will tell my friends to also never go there again!!! Truly sad since I use to go there all the time.

I had lunch with my wife shortly after they opened. When a received my tuna melt on a plain bagel it looked like it was placed in a furnace. It was a pile of melted mush. When I went to speak with the manager she was busy sweeping the floor. I confronted her with my sandwich and her reply was "what's the problem". I tried explaining that it was a dish of mush and got no where..... So there is no problem, you won't get any more of my money and maybe you should learn how to talk with a paying customer and make them happy so they come back.......But then again you sure know how to sweep a floor!

I would like to start this review by stating that I wasn't going to even write one. My plans were to call and speak with the manager ( I was introduced to the owner and manger just a few weeks prior) and wanted to give them a heads up on what had happened in their establishment as a courtesy. Since I am 30 + years in this industry I felt that would be the proper thing to do..When I called and received the response that I did, my plans changed. This past Saturday was my second visit and all was well until I sat down to enjoy their bagel & coffee. I was disturbed by what I saw. It had weighed heavy with me all day and night. When I spoke to my friend who introduced me to the owner he had suggested that I call and let them know. On Sunday late morning I called and asked to speak with a specific manager, the person that answered the phone ask who I was and I gave her my name. When that person got on the phone they again asked who I was. As I was telling him who I was and that we had just recently met His response was "I'M BUSY RIGHT NOW" he had no idea what I was even going to say. I could have been placing a large catering order but with That attitude If I was I would have gone someplace else. I politely asked when was a good time to speak to him about what had happened yesterday. All of a sudden he had a minute. I explained to him that I am also in the Food Service Industry and what I saw. He asked me who it was and that he would speak to that person. That was not the reaction I thought I would get!! How about a "thank you for bringing it to my attention or thank you for calling and letting us know" NOPE .. Had I been a health inspector this place would have received a few tags.... I think this place needs to re-learn food safety and management needs to learn proper "customer service skills and customer recovery" If you're going show the public the "behind the scenes" you better make sure your staff can follow proper procedures in food safety...

Located in the Walgreens shopping center about 1 mile west of i95 exit 22 west. Bagels are more then just a way to hold your appetite for a few hours, its a way of life. The Original Brooklyn Water Company imports water from NYC to making their bagels, use in the soda dispenser and coffee makers. The open kitchen concept is fun to watch bagels being made fresh every few hours. They offer the smear and different sandwhich fixins set on a variety of bagel flavors. The effort for using NYC water pays off, the flavor is unlike the usual Florida bagel fare. But dont leave without asking for a plastic bag, the humidity of Florida ruins anything made fresh. The ice coffee is nice too, they give you frozen ice cubes of diluted decaf and you add more coffees of your choice of flavors. Tables outside are a nice touch but indoor seating will be available soon. Its worth the wait, and drive to experience the hometown feeling of this casual spot.

These are by far the best bagels I have had in a long time. I get the roasted garlic bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese and it's to die for. I definitely have to brush my teeth after but it's amazing. Lol. The coffee concoctions are also very good. Great local spot.

5 stars for south florida. Not for NY. The only place you should go to for a bagel here. The only. You're crazy if you try that garbage Einstein place, or anywhere else really. Ask for a freezer bag and buy a dozen. I do it all the time. Top notch and the real deal for a bagel. Trust.

This was my first time here. Great, friendly service. I loved watching the bagels being made. The cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese was delicious. Straight out of the oven! I usually don't like iced coffee, but this was the best I have ever had. The coffee ice cubes are amazing!
