Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We came around 8:30 am, it wasn't too busy. There were plenty of seats available at that time. We were attended by Linda, she was super sweet. I ordered the French Toast with eggs and bacon. The food was great. Linda brought out powdered sugar and cinnamon for me to put on my french toast as I please. That was very nice. The coffee was delicious as well. I'm glad that they also serve brown sugar, you just have to ask for it. I prefer coming to places like this rather than going to Dennys or Ihop. I would definitely return.

We have gone a couple of time... Horrible! Out of the six women standing in the front, not one greeted us, not one smile. The food is nothing to go back for, home fries were cold, eggs Benedict had an excessive amount of sauce. The service sucks, the lady with the high ponytail is angry at the world and needs to get a new job!

The beer selection is the best I have ever seen. Anything you could want they have. The food was very good too, can't wait to come back and try it again.

So today I went out for dinner with my husband and a friend and our initial intention was to go Flanigans, but it was packed and then we decided to come and check this restaurant that is right across the plaza.First impression,to be totally honest, not so good.Picture empty, dated dinner...but as soon we saw the menu and spoke with our waitress,we started to change our minds.Food was delicious, made from scratch, the attention was amazing, and they have great specials on beer,we even got to try one that they recommended, compliment of the house.I wanna go back for breakfasts specials, and free mimosas on the weekends!!!Guys go here, won't regret it.Just a note, the place needs a make over... they have all this great features, but if ppl don't like the looks, they won't go in.I was extremely surprised in a good way.

Stopped by to have breakfast here as the reviews were pretty good. The food was amazing. We had the French toast and omelette and I've never had anything like it before. The waitress was slammed as the place was packed but she still managed to provide excellent service and was so sweet I literally wanted to take her home.

I was here on a Sunday with my daughter. We ordered the All American Breakfast with bacon and the Home fries with cheese and onions. Everything was cooked to perfection. The onions were sweet, plump, and crunchy at the same time. The bacon was hearty, rich, and seasoned to perfection. All in all, this is our favorite breakfast place. There is nothing that we would change about this place. Plus, they gave me free Mimosas!!! Overall, we would definitely come here again. (One of the waitresses looks like a Mini Jlo) You haven't experienced breakfast in Miami if you haven't eaten here.

Let's face it, for as long as I can remember, when you mention this restaurant to many of the locals, their first reaction is, "ewe" followed by "¿y eso sigue ahí?" Yes, my Hispanic friends, it is still there. I too thought it was going to go bye bye many a times. Well, here I am finding myself writing an updated Yelp. Taking it from a three star issuance to four stars. Why? Well, it all made sense when I went outside and saw the banner stating, "under new ownership." Right-on Ranch House. Right-on, and, I myself noticed immediately. Why? Well, before the aura when you first walked-in was dreary and gloomy. Mostly, by the staff. I have been coming here off and on through the years when I'm craving an authentic American Breakfast. As far as I know, it looks like the same waitresses that have been working here since Jesus of Nazareth was still alive. That is, with the exception of maybe one, maybe two new employees. Many times in the past I found myself saying to myself, "GOOD GRIEF WOMAN...smile." Nope, but not today. It was so obvious this morning that this restaurant was being managed by someone else that it even made the food taste better. Yes folks, I notice these things. They don't call me the Cuban Walter Mercado for nothing. It's a simple and basic rule for management, it starts at the top and trickles down. It's good to be the king, eh? Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Language here is English. * Prices - You are not imagining things nor arer you being cheap. Yes, prices here are slightly higher if you compare each dish individually with the myriad of Hispanic Restaurants throughout Hialeah, HOWEVER, it isn't ridiculously priced and, you won't get this anywhere else in Hialeah. About the same prices more or less to Denny's and IHOP...more or less. * This is the remaining restaurant of what used to be a very popular chain of restaurants back in the day. * I have searched high and low, to my knowledge, this is the only restaurant where you can eat 100% authentic American Food in Hialeah. I'm not including places like Denny's and IHOP, though. Same concept more or less. * As I mentioned, I've been coming here off and on through the years. This food served at this restaurant has always been unjustly underappreciated by people who think they are real Foodies. The food here was never bad.. The ambiance, however..... * Parking - "Shouldn't" be a problem, however, this is inside a very busy large shopping center. This restaurant, however, is not attached to the massive large shopping center. * I almost always have their Cheddar Cheese Scramble. * The burgers are good here. Now, I want to try one again. * This restaurant is very unique here in Hialeah. Most people, will travel to Broward for this kind of food when we have it right here. I would give it at least one chance. * Not five stars on Yelp, "yet." Some minor aesthetic "things" here and there need to be tackled first. Once you realize this is one of the original restaurants in Hialeah from back in the day, though, it will all make sense. DO NOT CHANGE THE COLORS OR DECOR, though. I love that vintage look. Hey, I noticed the new TVs. #KeepItLocal

The food was pretty OK. I had the French toast which was good. I read reviews about their fries but unfortunately they were not up to my expectations. My hubby had the ham and hash browns which were fine. I'm not sure but think I'd probably come back again to try something new.

Love this place. ...want a good all American breakfast...stop by. Friendly staff, fast service, good food for the right price. It's designed as an old diner I believe it use to be an old chain. Most people would think this place needs a remodel but I think it gives it character. For breakfast at 10am on a sunday between ordering, eating and leaving...it took one hour. You can't beat.

I went for breakfast with a group of 8. This place definitely isn't good for large groups, they can't seat any more than 6 together. I had french toast with a side of corned beef hash. Neither was anything special. I heard the home fries were delicious from another member of the party. I was a little disappointed when I saw the Big 3 and the Country Breakfast came with a full size side of pancakes or french toast. Definitely worth the extra $2 next time to get eggs and bacon. The food was decent but I don't see any reason to go out of the way to come here.

This place is excellent!! I came here for breakfast at 2:00 in the afternoon. It blew me away the food was great. It's not exactly the fanciest restaurant in the world but heck it's got good food. I was really happy with the service. The waitress was all over my drinks! She had a new one for me before I got 1/2 way through a drink. I will most certainly be back.

My first time here being a breakfast person and I appreciate a good meal. We walked in and the waitresses looked strung out and there was two cooks which one of them looked like a waitress. The hood, which draws out the exhaust from the cooking area, was not on and it smelled like the food they were cooking. Well lets cut to the food.... I ordered the country breakfast which included two eggs over easy, 2 "fluffy" pancakes, and bacon. I also orders a side of home fried potatoes. The eggs were okay nothing spectacular, the pancakes were overlooked and the complete opposite of "fluffy", the bacon overlooked because it was deep fried, to anyone who likes bacon this is a no no method of cooking bacon. The potatoes had no flavor and even had a bitter aftertaste... I was not please with my meal and seriously consider to send everything back but I felt bad for the waitress... I will not be eating breakfast there again....cheers!

I read the reviews before heading over and it was well worth the visit. Great service (worth going back just for the service) and tasty food - nice and simple. I can't really rave over anything in particular, it was just affordable wholesome fresh food. As someone else mentioned, it's a wonder the place isn't packed for lunch because it should be. To the foodies: don't be overly critical or picky. This is just a good old fashioned diner where you can get stumped between homemade banana pudding or lemon meringue pie for dessert.

I've been coming here since I was a child. My parents have come here since they were young. If you're looking for a authentic American breakfast this is the place for you. So good. Stop by its under new management and you can sure tell.

Been coming here for many years. It's the same Ranch House restaurant that used to be all over S. Florida when I was a kid. The food is always very good. They always have good lunch specials. The service is great and fast!!

Simple, quick and delicious American food. The customer service was friendly and the quick. I was eating my breakfast in under 10 min. I definitely recommend this place although the location is in the heart of Hialeah lol.

Living nearby for over 10 years and had never eaten here. Luckily a nearby restaurant was full with a ridiculous wait time and we ended up here. The food was arguably better than the nearby restaurant and for half the price. I've come here for breakfast and lunch and have managed to bring almost everyone I know. So far everyone enjoys the food, service and prices. I now have a local go-to-bfast-spot with delicious sweet tea, awesome bfast, delicious ribs, the tomato grilled cheese is on point. Sad it took me so long to discover this place, but hey, better late than never.

This spot is great, your downhome diner, family owned and much of the food is well done. The menu offers some good and bad items. I've been here several times, I came the first time to try these amazing fries which they were. They changed the fries after my first visit which was quite sad. They have fantastic ranch dressing, some of the best I've had, and homemade. The patty melt is out of this world, it's worth coming here just for that sandwich. The club sandwich is not too great, I would pass on it. Service is decent here, nothing great or bad in particular. Great spot, I will be back.

Been coming here since I was 5 to order the same breakfast. Sometimes I change it up, but rarely. The same staff has been here since, and it is just a rare country gem in the middle of Hialeah. I don't understand how this place has worked in the area that it is in for so long, all I know is that it does and I will always keep coming back. I guess that speaks wonders about the quality of service and food, which draws people of all cultures and ethnic backgrounds to come here... not to mention the early bird regulars that come everyday...and cops. Oh, and the best hashed browns you will ever have, no doubt.

The restaurant was ok. I went there a few weeks ago at about 12pm. My boyfriend and I were the only ones there. I ordered a BLT and some fries and my boyfriend ordered a tuna melt sandwich. The meal was decent,; I have nothing remarkable to say about it. The restaurant was designed to look like a diner, it was not that impressive to me, although the staff was very friendly.

Husband and I made the trek through some sketchy parts of Hialeah to this place because they won best french fires in Miami in the New Times. And since I am a french fry connoisseur I HAD to go. This place is a classic. The fries, although simple are cooked perfectly. Every one on my plate had the perfect amount of crunch. They also make their own dressings there and the Ranch from which their name is garnered is awesome. I had the patty melt and it was one of the best things I have ever eaten! Although definitely not diet food, it was incredibly tasty. the bread was grilled and crunchy, the burger patty was juicy and well seasoned and it had just the right amount of melted cheese to bring it all together. Husband had the regular burger and agreed it was well made. The service was friendly and efficient. And the prices were more than reasonable enough to make the drive worth it. I will definitely be back here!

Worst breakfast in years. The hash browns were grey and greasy. The corned beef hash was burned and even the English muffins were terrible. Instead of crispy on top they looked as though they were cooked on the grill instead of the toaster and had a goey texture. Avoid this place for breakfast.

What a great Diner kind of place. The burger and fries are the best. The BBQ beef is killer. Service is friendly and perfect. Your water glass stays full without asking. Orders are correct, served hot, and with a smile. Great breakfasts. If you want an old fashioned restaurant experience with wonderful, affordable food-stop reading and go eat!
