This clean and nice-looking restaurant has become one of my favorite Colombian restaurant in Miami-Dade. Why? Because it's solid and clean. Well, even though the name is all about chicken, and I don't doubt that it is tasty, the churrascos and steak plates here is what made this place well regarded. The regular churrasco was thick, juicy, big and brought out on a steaming skillet all for a reasonable price, and that's including the well made sides. The tostones are thick, fresh and not dried - just cooked right, and not so salty. I actually like eating them (normally I don't). The plantains (maduros) were cooked to perfection. The house sauce (there's a spicy one and the non-spicy one for your picking) for the steak wasgood and complemented the steak well. You'll be hard pressed to spend more than 15 dollars here, unless if you had ordered the churrasco marinado ($18) which is the steak topped with seafood (squid, octopus, etc). and dressed with a yummy sauce (but some may say that the sauce overpowers the flavor of the steak, but I would slightly disagree - you simply would taste both seafood and steak flavors in the bite). If you're a steak purist, stick with the normal churrasco ($11) and you will be pleased. And upon receiving the bill, I was surprised that they give you a little candy - not many ethnic eateries do that unless if it's Chinese. The little candy was SuperCoco. Don't laugh... I actually enjoyed it! It's a little bite-size turron (hard candy) with a good coconut flavor. I'm addicted to them now! They taste just like coconut macaroons! If you like them, make sure they give you one SuperCoco instead of a coffee flavored candy! This is a worthy stop if you're around in northern Hialeah or Miami Lakes.

The service is good. The food is good. But there is something just lacking. The place deserves only an A-ok. Maybe some advertisment or deals and it will get better.

This small Colombian restaurant in Hialeah is nice and clean, service was good, and fast, waitress was very friendly and attentive.I've been there before but this time the food was not as good as expected,We had empanadas as starters which were very good, perhaps the best thing we had that day, In general I think food was lacking of colombian flavor in this visit. We had Bandeja paisa and Chuleta valluna. The red beans in the bandeja paisa were not good, they just didn't seem to be Colombian Red beans, on the other side, the Chuleta Valluna was Dry, overfried, the Tostones (green plantain) was also dry and did't seem fresh. I didn't want salad and waitress said I cannot change or switch the salad for beans, which I think is kind of silly, both of them are just side dishes. Guanabana juice was ok but they did't have Blackberry Juice(mora), Waitress said they were out of Mora...on saturday. Not coming back soon.

Small spot but it is a gem. Has real tacky signage but the food speaks for itself. Ordered pollo a la brasa with the typical rice and red beans. With a side of avocado that's was for my younger brother. But the smell of it and the appearance made my mouth water. I had a really light appetizer arepa de chocolo con queso (corn patty with cheese) a little burnt but it did give off a good taste to my liking I enjoyed it. As far as the location on a busy street in the middle of Hialeah fl. Staff is pretty much moving around and waited a few moments before I got noticed or asked if I needed help. But that's ok they were very nice and helpful. So if you are in the area and would like a really good lunch/dinner for a really great price point check them out!
