Always check your food is correct before you order and leave from this location. After having problems 3 times I'm done with it. This location is awful...

Love Pei Wei and live very close to this one. Had a GREAT experience when I called in an order for pick up yesterday. All I said was "hi I need an order for pick up " and she knew my name and previous order in detail. Was very impressed with their system and barely had to say anything on that call. Good job Pei Wei!

I've lived 5 minutes from this place and had dismissed it for a really long time. Then one lazy Friday afternoon, I drove past it and decided to grab some take out. Wow..i was so impressed! For being a 'fast" food version of PF Changs, its pretty close to the real thing. The mongolian steak is delish and so are the thai chicken lettuce wraps. The food has tasted fresh each time. A tip if you are taking out is to call ahead, otherwise you will be wating for about 20-25 minutes since they make your food on the spot.

I like their sushi, crab wontons, and Kung Pao shrimp extra spicy. These items are delicious and a good value. However, everything else I have tried has been very mediocre.

First time visiting Pei Wei at this location (2nd time eating their food overall). Went in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and the place was packed! The line, however, moved fairly quickly for the Dine In. Seating is a bit of a mission. You kind of slightly panic, especially during the lunch rush, whether you'll actually have a table to eat on. Lucky for me, we found one during peak time! I ordered the Pad Thai noddles with chicken. Mmmm! I really liked it. The bowl, for one, was huge! I could not finish the whole thing. The noodles were deliciously flavored with a sweet, spicy, sour sauce. The amount of chicken in the dish was plentiful; it wasn't just a few spare pieces here and there; there were thick chunks of chicken all over. They also threw in plenty of cilantro and nuts (which were good but not my cup of tea; I just pushed them aside). I also tried their chai tea (unsweetened) and it was delicious! I'm a fan of this particular meal now, and would love to have it again sometime soon. I may try it with a different type of meat. Yummy!

My girlfriend and I are huge fans of Pei Wei. However, this particular location is the worst. No matter how many chances we give it, we are ever disappointed. The service is slow, and the soda machine is ALWAYS not working properly. The service is shaky at best.

Not bad but look for the plaid shirt manager. Dishes taste better when he's there...just sayin

I love the food, the environment and the service here. The Chicken Lo Mein is as good as it gets. Not only do I love it, my kids do too. It is yummy!

Love! Pei Wei! This one is no different. The food is consistent and the location, clean. It's fast, cheap and delicious. It can be a bit packed during lunch hours, I prefer to order online and pick up once ready. They make it easy to get some quality food, fast. I recommend the Mongolian beef for people who don't like spicy. All the dishes I've tried are in fact delicious, but my favorite way to go is with edemame to start, some crab wontons, followed with the spicy Korean beef! Yum! And I almost forgot! The soda machines at this place are those specialty coke machines where you can choose a ton of flavors! Enjoy!

I haven't been to this Pei Wei in a few years, but im happy to say the food was excellent. The customer service was great and I will be returning on a regular.

Great food but the take out service is absolutely horrible. I placed my order online, along with five other people and we all waited about 20 mins, after the time that it was suppose to be ready, to receive our food. While four bags were sitting on the counter ready to be handed out. The wait is definitely not worth the food .

This place has had its ups and downs throughout the years, but this last time around, I have to say that things have improved! Cut back to 2006 - I had just tied the knot with the ol' ball and chain and moved into Crescent House. A few months later I saw a sign for a brand new restaurant opening up called Pei Wei. And knowing that it was P.F. Chang's little sister made me anxious! My friend and I stalked this place for months until it finally opened. And after all that stalking, you better believe we lived at Pei Wei! We ate, laughed, ate some more... until the food quality started getting kinda "eh." By this time I'd gone about a hundred times with my friends, husband, by myself - whoever! I think with the massive amounts of people that started coming here, the service and quality just dwindled. I've continued to visit the restaurant throughout the years, but not as often as I used to. The lastest trip I took there was last weekend, and I have to say it was a lot better. I had the Pad Thai with shrimp - good and spicy! My husband had the mongolion beef (as always) and this time they actually gave him a hearty serving which was a problem in the past. They used to skimp on the meat, but no complaints this time around! Their crab rangoon is always good, and now they have one of those futuristic soda machines which I was fascinated with, only to find out that there are others out there... I'm old, give me a break! :) I wish they would serve sake.

I LOVE PeiWei BUT We'll get back to that, I've even wondered why go to PF Changs when you can have it here for half the price. With that said I have eaten in at this Pei Wei about 3 times in the last 4 months and picked up take out about twice. Each time the food has been worse and worse. Last night I get home and my lettuce wraps were old and brown in the center. I should've known when I saw the cashier pull it out from the side of the register with another lettuce wrap batch wrapped in a clear bag. My chicken for my wraps had barely water chestnuts and had some gooey textured stuff in it. We couldn't eat it. We had two orders of Mongolian beef with fried rice. I get home and our rice was drowning in Mongolian beef sauce, we barely found meat & there was an overload of white mushrooms. Also no green onions!! To say the least I think karma got me for thinking who needs PF Changs!

You can't go wrong here! Love the Mongolian Beef but decided to try the Coconut thai curry beef and should have stayed with my fav!

For casual fast food it it good. Prices are reasonable. Always clean.

  • Vladimir G.

Ok: if you like average yet expensive food and waiting a long time for your meal. Was not impressed.

    (2)
  • Ariel M.

Love the food at PeiWei. The price is fair not expensive at all for the quality of food. The only thing is always packed with people and they have very little amount of tables for a sit down restaurant. Because of how small it is, there's a lot of notice from the people talking. You will also come out smelling like fried rice in your clothes. Other than that, goooooooooddddddd ffooooooooddddd.

My first experience at Pei Wei was with a couple of the girls from work. I had never been and decided it would be a good opportunity to go. I had recently decided I did not like P.F. Changs at all and would never set foot in one again. WRONG... as this is the dwarf sister company. Pei Wei is very much fast food style. You order at the counter, you get your number and put it on the stand at your table. Somebody brings you the order. You eat. You go. Definitely a lunch spot. The food was pretty good. I had the Chicken Terriyaki (playing it safe) and my friends had the Pad Thai, Hot & Sour Soup, and a salad. Everyone liked their meal. I tried the soup and it was really good. Overall, it's a good place for Asian fast food.

  • Maite H.

Conveniently close to home therefore take out happens very often. The food is satisfying and the price can't be beat. Dinner for $7-$8, sure I'll take it. Despite the tons of times I've eaten and taken out my two favorites are still Mongolian Chicken and Honey Seared Shrimp. Loving that they added the Coke machine.

  • Laura Suris G.

Pei Wei is just so delicious! I hate Chinese food from those small take out places and the mall. Don't know why, I just do, but this place is just my exception to the rule! I mean what can't you like here? Everything is exceptional! I order the Thai Dynamite with shrimp on noodles with extra sauce and it is simply an orgasm in your mouth! Don't think that's possible google that s***!!!! Well I love that they also have one of those soda machines that you can make absolutely any drink you want. And what puts the cherry on top of this whole experience is.. Drum roll please.... They have a box full of fortunes cookies and you can get as many as your heart desires!!! Whoooo I just sit there and eat fortune cookie after fortune cookie after a delicious meal! And no that does not make you fat!!!!

I've gone to 3 pei weis, kendall, coral gables and miami lakes. This is my least favorite one. The service was not good.

    (2)
  • Gisela C.

Not bad. Fast service, the food itself was really good. Just as good as eating at PF Changs and paying more for the same thing! Portions are big, too.

I absolutely love Pei Wei, however we will not be back at this location. We have been to this particular location twice within the last week or two. Both trips our food was brought out at different times. I even noticed that groups and other tables that sat after my husband and me were getting their food before us. Very slow and for some reason today the food wasn't good.

I ordered pad Thai. It should be hot, but it's too sweet. Anyway, it still tasted good.

Was coming from Downtown on the way to a friends house when we decided that we wanted some Pei Wei Thinking they would be open until 10pm, I called at 8:57 just to make sure but found out they were about to close at 9pm After some friendly banter back and forth with Marissa, she allowed me to order two Pad Thai chicken and beef She could have easily said "sorry, we are closed" and had to work that much less but she came through and the food was delicious like always I got there about 9:20, Marissa was there with my food and a smile Super good Karma to you Marissa I really hope your bosses read this and give you a raise 'cause you really deserve the praise This is the kind of service that most places lack and because of this and the tasty food, I'll keep coming back ///I'm a poet and I didn't even know it///

I usually order the Mongolian Beef. This time I tried their latest addition to the menu, Black Pepper Chicken. If you like General Tso's Chicken, you'll love this! Covered in a sweet/sour sauce and sauteed onions, tomatoes and asparagus, this dish was tasty. While I don't like spicy food, this dish had just enough kick to not destroy the savory flavor and still keep me happy! I ordered the combo, for $6.50, which included a spring roll or soup (I ordered the spring roll). For dessert, I had their grea chocolate chip cookie. A great meal!!

  • Meghan S.

The food here is pretty good...nothing amazing. I do like the chicken lettuce wraps and the caramel chicken but the pork egg rolls are very greasy without much flavor. This location is always beyond packed for dinner and they work pretty slow. Only go if you have a good amount of time to kill. The parking lot is also a huge cluster of bad. Its a shared parking lot with the grocery store and the other stores in the strip but the parking lot that was made wasn't eve big enough for the grocery store let alone the other places.

  • Elizabeth P.

This is the fast-food version of P.F. Chang. They have some of the same items on their menu such as the Mongolian Beef and the yummy Chicken Lettuce Wraps. One of my recent favorites in my new-found stage of vegetarianism is the Japanese Teriyaki with veggies and tofu. Very tasty!! The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the services can be very slow at times -- particularly on weekends. But the food is worth the wait.

    (3)
  • Francisco F.

P.F Chang's version of quickserve. The food is always cooked to order and brought to your table. The portions are nice and overall I have never had a bad plate of food here. The place is clean and the runners are always polite and helpful. My five year old loves to come here with me on a "date" because she loves the honey seared chicken.

    (4)
  • Alex B.

This place is great. The food is awesome. It's clean and a nice environment. The kitchen is open so you can see the food being cooked. This is the sister restaurant to P.F Changs. I think its better. Great food and reasonably priced. I love the Pad Thai. The lettuce wraps are a great appetizer. I go to this location at least once a week. The catch... Don't go if you're in a hurry! I've seen this place empty and full and food still takes forever to come out.

  • Sylvia S.

Hot DAMN. I love Pei Wei. I don't feel entitled to write a legitimate review because I only ever order the pad thai or Mongolian beef, but I love Pei Wei. Nor is this review for this specific location -- I've also frequented the locations in Kendall, Weston, and Pines Boulevard. But it's all good. Friggin' edamame, good. Wontons, yum. Caramel chicken, yeah. Best pad thai -- beef, chicken, shramp --I've had, and lemme tell you, I've had the dish in *`*authentic*~* settings on both coasts. Not that crazy high in calories either, if you're into that sort of thing. And oyeme, for all those who complain about the service, this is Miami! Get off your camello!

    (5)
  • Ashley M.

I visit this place every so often for lunch because it is near my office. I love PF Changs, and while Pei Wei doesn't live up to the quality of it's more expensive counterpart, it definitely is reminiscent of it. Pei Wei is a few steps up from a normal chinese fast food restaurant, blowing Panda Express and others out of the water. For the same price that I would pay in any other Chinese take out (about $7 per person), their food tastes fresher and made with more quality ingredients. I always order either beef lo mein or beef fried rice. The mongolian beef at Pei Wei is way too sweet and doesn't taste nearly as good as PF Changs, so I tend to stay away from it. The Miami Lakes location always has really friendly, fast service and the restaurant itself is always kept immaculate, even in the lunch rush. I really like the citrus green tea that they offer in the fountain drinks section. Great lunch place for cheap, fast and quality food.

This place is awesome in all aspects!! The location makes it very suitable for Dinner and a movie. Within walking distance from the Main Street movie theater, it makes it very convenient to take your significant other. The Thai food is delicious and not too expensive. The wait time is also at accurate haste. I highly recommend it!

  • Monica M.

Great location. Situated in the heart of Miami Lakes, near everything. They were a lot better when they first opened up but now that they've switched employees and chefs. It's become a hit or miss. Still delicious none the less.

    (5)
  • Jordan N.

I just don't like this place. The only thing that has me going in this place are the orange slices and the lemon slices to put into my water. That's it, folks. Tofu, not creative enough unless if you'll be happy with bland tofu in a spicy sauce. Rice? Gimmicky. Beef, chicken, and the rest - just slathered in sauce in hopes that you'll like what you're eating. At least it's affordable. But it's not worth the money especially if you like P.F. Changs - it's a big step down. However, it's good for being an affordable and casual spot for a chat with a friend - something Miami Lakes need more of.

Crazy delicious and cheap! Try their ginger chicken, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste.

  • Marlene L.

I Can't eat with a Spoon or Chop Sticks, give me a fork and knife, but besides that the food was DELISH!! Fountain beverages have free refills. Unlimited fortune cookies. Our order was delivered to our table fairly quick. I'm not big on chinese food because frankly i don't trust their cooking therefore I love how the kitchen area is open so you can see your food being prepared. I had the sweet and sour chicken with white rice and my friend had the beef teriyaki with white rice which were both very good. The meals are pretty big in size and are not full of all that MSG that makes you sleepy. Will definitely be back to try their other meals

    (4)
  • Melissa P.

This is the fast-food version of P.F. Chang. They have some of the same items on their menu. The Pad Thai is good but there a place not too far from here that better. Parking is good a bit crowded at times not a big location.

    (4)
  • A. H.

Asian Fusion?! Seriously? Let's not get carried away here... They serve rice, noodles, chicken, vegetables, more chicken.... you get the idea... This place is one step above Canton on 67th. I would appreciate the place more if it's prices were slightly lower and it had a drive through. It's basically a fast food restaurant (with a couple of inner city dudes in chef hats as cooks). I will say the food is fresh and this goes a long way in my book. I have never gotten a bad meal here and the prep is decently quick. There is something to be said for standardized ingredients and prep. Portions are hefty and relatively healthy.

After a terrible experience at another restaurant last night, I would like to give props to Pei Wei!!! Fast, easy and always delicious!!! Good Job!!!!

    (4)
  • Max T.

For $8 or $9 you get alot of food, free refills on soda, food consistently cooked, in a clean environment. Clean is a premium when it comes to chinese Joints. For fast food chinese, this is the place to go. I do not trust the food being served at most take out chinese restaurants in South Florida; I trust Pei Wei, with their open kitchen, and franchise reputation to uphold. The flavors and sauces are great. They have an awesome mango chicken now, my mouth gets watery just thinking about it; real mango slices, with vegetables and rice. Awesome! If you go to PF CHANGS the same meal will be double the price, so I rather hit PEI WEI. Poor man's PF CHANGS, by PF CHANGS. My only gripe is that some of the sauces are only introduced temporarily (ex: mango, lemon pepper) so you fall in love to have it taken away.

  • Janelle F.

SO many people had recommended this place but since there isn't one anywhere near where I live, one day I made the trek to Miami Lakes and got takeout. We were a group of 6, so we had a variety of different things. Most dishes were pretty tasty...One notch up from food court Chinese but I can't bring myself to give it more than three stars. One bonus-- if you don't know...You can place your order online, and if its the first time you are ordering, you get 25% off. This worked out great since I placed a big order, so I ended up saving 20 bucks.

Food is okay... Tables are way sticky; like the floors in a porno theater (not that I know about porno theaters :)

  • Jerry R.

This is a very solid place for a quick lunch. Lots of choices and the ingredients were fresh. The tofu had a great sear on it and was full of flavor. The space was nice but very loud at lunch time. This chain is owned by PF Chang.

    (3)
  • Sophie D.

The fast food version of P.F Changs. The price, food, and portions are yummy. Just put in your order, grab a drink and have a seat, they will bring your food to the table. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and was fully satisfied with it.

  • Emme R.

I have to disagree with most of these reviews. I absolutely loved this place. I've been there a few times and haven't been disappointed. Well, except for their tea. That was horrible. The pad thai was that BEST pad thai that I've had. Let me say that I love pad thai and I order it everywhere I go. One bad thing about going to the mom and pop thai restaurants is that they never really have consistency in their recipes. Today it's amazing tomorrow it's too salty.. But at Pei Wei it seems it taste exactly the same every time. No let down..The chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. The noodles were perfectly cooked, it was perfectly spicy, big chunks of scallions, the perfect combination of sweet and sour. The coconut curry was way too spicy but other than that it was great. The Mongolian chicken thing was amazing too. Amazing... This place is on my top ten Asian restaurants. Sorry, but this time the corporations win.

  • geoff c.

Garbage...avoid this place like the plague. The place looks nice but thats about it. Its fairly overpriced and not worth the money. Vegetables were not cooked enough. The dish I had was overwhelmed with ginger and way too salty. (some korean dish they had) The pad thai was too sweet. just horrible, [places like this give a bad rep to the traditional take out joints. They may look crappy but they certainly taste better than the crap you get out of Pei Wei.

  • Roger K.

I came here for the first time a few days ago and my food was delicious! I had the Mongolian Beef and it was full of flavor. The fried rice was pretty good as well. There is not a waiter service here, which was a bit weird to me for a place like this, but it is good if you are looking for a quick bite.

    (4)
  • Jenny Q. V.

I'm not a huge fan of this place. The few times I've been there is because of my husband. I know they are part of pf changs but pf changs is wayyyyy better!!!

    (3)
  • Ana K.

Honestly I didn't like anything and I ordered quite a bit of food. The portions are big but the food isn't very tasty so it doesn't really matter. I did not like the wonton soup because they used tiny wonton and weird spinach leaves. The Vietnamese roll thing wasn't my favorite either, felt like i was eating grass. The terikaki chicken tasted like msg and sugar.. but oh well, lesson learned!

This restuarant is AWESOME with a capital A!! Great service. Every employee looked liked they loved working there. The food was great. Loved their vegan meals.

  • Ariel S.

This is a cheaper version of big brother PF-Changs. If you like PF's just go there, don't waste your time here - the food is sub-par, just Meh. Now don't get me wrong, I'll take this over any burger or fried chicken joint but those are gross anyhow. I go there about once every couple of months for lunch just to eat something different as Miami Lakes doesn't have a whole lot of choices.

    (3)
  • Arthur S.

Who doesn't like P.F. Chang's. And with a smaller version of it, Pei Wei hits the spit for me. Anytime I can grab a quick bite from this place I do. I love it for lunch or an inexpensive dinner. I hve had a lot but not all from the menu and it all tastes good to me.

  • eglys h.

cant get to pf chang? now we are in luck. having one of these in your neighborhood is a blessing and a sin.... no more having to drive far or heavy duty waiting in line. food menu is just like pf chang with a bit of name difference here & there but food quality especially at this location in miami lakes is amazing. service has been a bit slow at times during lunch (even thou we beat the lunch crowd) but waiters were polite. was sad thou cause did have some coupons for free letteuce wrap (my friend had given me) but they said they were not participating in this program..... our daughter has gone with friends before going to the movies and they have been served very well despite they are both 17yr old. no problems at all.... food is very good and place is nice & clean

Very good food and reasonably priced. It gets packed on the weekends but that's ok. It was worth it.

The perfect combination between an Asian fast food restaurant and a fancy shamncy one. When u walk in you go straight for the register to order (just like any other fast food joint). You pay for your food and take your drink with you. You sit down and within a few minutes a waiter brings your food to your table (just as in a fancy restaurant). Are we all fallowing? Good! So the food is actually really tasty. Not a ball of grease like what comes to mind when I think of Chinese fast food. You get your food very quickly and the prices are very.....recession proof! The ambiance is like a no fuss, no pretense, I want some good food and I want it now, and for a good price kinda place. And that is exactly what you get. One last note, the service was amazing. But then again I think the waiter was just flirting with me. He gave me the drink for free, a free crab thingy (not sure what it was but it was good), and a couple of free cookies at the end of the meal. He also came around our table about 3 times to check that everything was OK. Well with service, price, and quality like this I am hooked!!!

    Really good food! Reasonable priced..

  • Armando G.

Is this the place to go when craving authentic Chinese food? Of course not, but Pei Wei offers delicious food at a very good price point. My favorites would have to be their Pad Thai, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao and Caramel Chicken. Their brown rice can be a bit undercooked at times, but it tastes much better once you throw in a spoonful of the chili sauce. Other than the tables being a bit dirty at times, there isn't much I dislike about this location.

  • Jacqueline R.

Are you kidding me Pei Wei??? Ordered a Pei Wei spicy chicken to go...charged me $9!!! No veggies or sauce...totally dry. Epic fail on their part. I would have returned the meal had I not lived some distance away.

Service is such a rarity in the fast food industry that when a fast casual spot goes above and beyond to give you some sustenance, they deserve a shoutout! I stopped at PeiWei at 8:59:59 without remembering they closed at 9, starving after another marathon day at the office. Noticing the door locked, I figured I'll have to starve (or drive to find another place to eat). The to-go cashier motions for me to come thru another door, and she says I can go ahead and place an order. I can even eat at the restaurant! My dinner consisted of a brown rice and extra teriyaki chicken bowl. The chicken was flavoful, and they didn't skimp on the sauce either. Vegetables were fresh and not soggy, and the overall portion was generous. The rice was a little on the aldente side, but I enjoyed my dinner. Even though I took my time eating, I was not rushed. I ate on the kitchen bar, and the hostess even stopped by to check in on me. The service was definitely great and I plan to stop by again (at a normal time.)

  • Marie C.

Food isn't that great. I've been a few times and it kind of tastes like microwaveable dinner meals. :/ Their sushi rolls are comparable to those you can purchase at Publix. I'm not a picky eater but the food here just isn't great. Service is fast and the staff is attentive.

  • Maritza S.

We love this Pei Wei. This is our after school snack spot. The kids meals are very reasonable priced and tgeir snickerdoodle cookies are probably the best I've had. We always take some to gom the service is very friendly but sometimes the kitchen sends out food all scattered that why I can only give 4 stars. Last time my kids were already eating dessert and I was still waiting for my delicious crunchy shrimp roll, which when it go there it exceeded my expectations of what pei wei sushi would be like. So good

My boyfriend and I have ordered probably 100 times from here. And lately the food hasn't been so great. We usually order the Mongolian beef, one with white rice and the other with fried. They've also been screwing up our order (white rice instead of fried, this has happened more than once, asked for extra sauce, never received it). The food doesn't taste fresh as it has previous times. The customer service is okay. Prices okay, I just feel the quality of food is not the same.So I think our run with Pei Wei has officially come to an end. I do like their California Mango rolls which is supposed to come with the sauce and the first few times I ordered it, it did. However, now if you don't ask for it they don't include it with the rolls. This was so annoying the first time that I got home and realized I didn't have the sauce.

It's "alright." The first thing I thought when I walked-in was, "oh a mini-P.F. Changs." I had never been to this chain of restaurants before. The young man working behind the register saw me struggling to understand their menu, so, he took the time to walk to me and help me with my order. Even while already sitting down eating, I was approached several times, "do you need anything" or "can I get something for you" by different employees. Yeah, lack of customer service was not an issue here. What was the issue was their food. It is very generic and unimaginative. Today I had: * Sweet and Sour Spicy Chicken - They were so perfectly round and the same size that I was scared to eat them. They tasted like real chicken, though. It tasted good, though. I've just had better out there. * Fried Rice - I should have opted for white rice when he asked me. But, this being a Chinese-influenced restaurant, fried rice was a must. If you love ginger, you'll love this here. I like ginger but, not that much. There was so much ginger in it that it wasn't even pleasing to eat. The hard crunchy "thing?" I don't even want to know what that was but it didn't belong in fried rice. The miniscule sliced piece of a piece of a broccoli was just insulting. This was the worst interpretation of fried rice I've ever had. * Fried Crab Wonton - Highly recommended by the young man who took my order. They were very good. I enjoyed this more than the main dish. They were not, "OH MY GOD HOW GREAT," though. Would I be back here is the question. Maybe I will or maybe I won't. There is a real Chinese Restaurant not too far from here. If I was in the area again and had to choose, I'd go for the other one. I came here today because I was in the area and wanted something new for lunch. "If" I was to come here again, I'd choose one of their noodles dishes. Just about everyone around me was having a bowl of something with noodles and it looked good. PLEASE NOTE: This restaurant is not in Hialeah. It's in Miami Lakes.

One of my favorite lunch spots. During this visit one of my friends caught the eye of a waiter and he catered to our every need. That's that customer service I like. I had the Kung Pao tofu and veggies with extra veggies (small) and I didn't think it was going to be so much but let's just say I needed a carry out container. I also had the Kung Pao shrimp topped California rolls (4). They were delicious. Gotta try them again.

So disappointed. The manager was very upbeat and welcoming, so I was pretty excited. And then when we arrived to what seemed to be a very annoyed and monotoned cashier; It all went downhill from there. Although the flavors were still up to par in my regular lettuce wrap dish, I was so grossed out by the cartilage I found in each bite I took.. Seriously, 4 for 4. I'll probably never return.

And, they did it again. Ordered at 6:47 and it is currently 7:40 and my wife's food is not on the table. People are pissed many tables before us are also waiting for half their order. There is a guy in the kitchen screaming at everyone employee and freaking out. No apologize just a be patient answer when we ask. I am sure they will be losing clients fed up with this non sense. Corporate should really take a look at changing things around. Just because the store is profitable it does not mean it is being run the right way. It's called location got you the good luck if success. However think about how much better you could do if you really cared about the client.

I guess Pei Wei listened to my last request lol. Now they have smaller meals. My favorite dishes are the sweet and sour chicken and Pad Thai. We constantly order take out here at my job. Just sad that my coworker found a hair in her food. She refuses to eat here again. On the other hand, I returned and enjoy it thoroughly. I know one mistake isn't going to hurt years of loyalty we've had to Pei Wei. I hope they try doing more email specials there hasn't been one in awhile!!!

Horrible. Waited 20 mins for to go order. Got home it's wrong. No extras that I paid for. Gave smaller size, paid for reg. tried calling store. No answer, then put on hold. Will decline the charge on my card and call corporate office. Sad a good place has got so bad.

The indoor service is great. The food is nothing special. The crab wonton, teriyaki sushi & edamame is usually what I order. The sushi is extremely small compared to their regular size so I recommend getting an extra order. However, EVERY time I order online they either get my order wrong or they forget something. It's happened a handful of times now and I am considering not ordering from here anymore.

Pei Wei is ah-mazinggg. I go nearly every week. Best crab wontons I've ever tried so far. Sesame chicken, orange peel, and teriyaki are my fave. Sesame and orange peel are a little spicy to my taste but its still heaven in your MOUTHH! Im also obsessed with the wonton soup. YUM.

The sushi made me sick. Old rice=salmonella and food born illness. I took two bites and returned the meal. Ok customer service, they offered something else and I was refunded the price difference. Unfortunately, I ingested too much of the sushi and became ill, not daring to eat the new food. Money lost and food poisoning...

What a change from 2011 to 2014! Not what it used to be. The food does not taste the same and service has weakened. Over all quality has declined over time and I hope it goes back to what it used to be.

I love this place. I would recommend the crab wonton's and chicken pad Thai. The pad Thai is a little spicy so beware. They only offer a few bottled beers to choose from and the new Coca-Cola's Freestyle fountain dispenser. The food is served quick, and the service is always on point. I would definitely be returning in the future.

The Bf and I headed out to Pei Wei Asian Diner for a late lunch yesterday . I tend to think of Pei Wei as a kind of Diet P.F. Chang's, which is no coincidence, as the good folks who bring you P.F. Chang's China Bistro are also the good folks who bring you Pei Wei.This is a happy coincidence, as I think of P.F. Chang's as one of the finest chain restaurants around. Pei Wei is not a sit-down restaurant in the manner of its older brother, but is a counter-service restaurant (I'm sure there's a technical term here I don't know, so forgive the ignorance, please), where you place an order at the counter, and are brought your food by the staff when it is ready. The menu is simple. The standard appetizers, salads, rice bowls and noodle dishes adorn the menu , but their signature dishes are what they are known for. You pick a protein (tofu, chicken, shrimp/scallops, or beef), a sauce (I like Kung Pao the best), and white or brown rice. I ordered the Honey seared chicken over steamed brown rice, which although is very good it still taste like regular Chinese honey chicken. Now Ruben had the Mongolian Chicken (one of the signature dishes)It is a deceptively simple dish at the latter--thin slices of steak stir-fried with green onions in the Mongolian sauce. But my lord, it is heavenly. It explodes with flavors in your mouth (let's keep the puerile snickering to a minimum, please). The food always comes out extremely quickly at Pei Wei--you can easily be in and out in 30 minutes if, like me, you generally make repast at odd times. Be forewarned, however, that it is popular and located near Main street, so Saturday noon often features a crowded restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite nice; red and black (what else would you expect?) decor, the requisite Chinese mustard and hot sauce, a kitchen built into the main dining room. Plus, you can hop next door to the new Crown Liquor store and browse the yummy selection of wines! What can I say? I know I'll be back soon, and this time, I'll get the Mongolian Chicken.

If this place only had delivery, it would get a 5 star review. With locations scattered across the county, chances are the closest one to you will be about a 20 minute drive away. For me, it's the Miami Lakes locale that is the closest and i use the word 'closest' very carefully. Needless to say, I've been here twice to pick up food and both times I've really liked what I ordered. I had the Orange Peel chicken with noodles once and the Sweet and Sour Chicken with fried rice the other time and wasn't disappointed. The chicken isn't super greasy or full of batter more than chicken, it's just right. Picking up the food is no hassle either. They usually have your food waiting for you when you get there and they offer a variety of sauces to take home at no extra charge.

Ate here with the work crew. It was okay, I wouldn't pick this place out to eat on my own...but it's edible. I agree with the yelps that thought the pad thai was too sweet. The works also asured me it would be spicy and there was NO spice to it at all. The good thing was that they put a LOT of tofu in it...but it didn't taste like anything, I don't think it was seasoned at all. I dunno, maybe if I go back and try some more things I can upgrade it. My first impression though, not my favorite.

Service is ok. Food is a bit greasy for me, but portions are large.

The little sister to PF Chang, Pei Wei does the job. I usually get the sweet and sour chicken with brown rice. The lettuce wraps are excellent as well as is the mongolian beef. Very affordable and delicious!

Really Efficient and fast service... Super helpfull and dynamic qualified n nice staff... Nice ambiance... Open kitchen. Here you pick your menu at the desk, you pay and they bring you everything to your table. They offer a simple menu but that's much better n tasty than the Asian food court of your local mall. I recommand it for simple casual dinner with friends.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
