Well my review is on the ASPECT of the place because i didnt get to order since they told me it was seafood only and i was really craving a Bandeja Paisa it looks more like a little bar and its not very pleasant looking. The lady very kind though.

Olga and her team offer great customer service and the food is amazing. I was there with my dad and husband today and we loved our meal. It makes you feel like you are in Colombia. Their natural juices are great, I had guanabana like the one my grandma used to make. Highly recommended. Exelente comida Colombiana y el servicio es bueno y agradable. Las porciones son grandes y el sazon muy autentico.

This restaurant is pretty small and it kind of smells like seafood inside. The service was very good but most important the food was delicious. This is my second time going there and my experience was like the first. The moharra with arroz con coco was very good.

I was looking for a place in Miami that would serve fried fish and I saw from Xavier's photo that they had it but unfortunately when I was there the lady said they didn't have it. The lady up front who took my order does not speak English but she was nice enough to work with me. The store is very tiny, there's 10 tables that can seat 4 and a bar stool that can seat another 10. I came in on a Tuesday around noon expecting it to be full but it was moderate, at first there was only myself and these 3 ladies, but soon after people started to come in. They had the AC going so it wasn't hot as I thought it would be since everyone is crammed in there. So I wanted fried fish but I ended up with fried filet with yucca and coconut rice. The salad that came with the dish was just simply salad with Italian dressing. The yucca came out nice and hot but soon hardened, I think they should allow options such as french fries but I guess that's too American. The fish was banging hot, it was salty in some area but after squeezing the two limes on it, it wasn't so bad. Their coconut rice is amazingly good, I never had such thing but it was so sweet like plantain, it pretty much help balanced the saltiness of the fish. I also had the Colombiana kola which was pretty good. I paid a total of $14 plus tip for the entire lunch meal. Overall I would come back for more, just wish they would speak a little bit of english.

This is the place to go when you're hungover. Always makes me feel better after a seafood soup. They also have a deep fried red snapper with coconut rice which is exquisite. This place is better than more expensive seafood restaurants I have visited. A little Barranquilla flavor in Hialeah. Can't beat that.

The menu at this place is extremely limited. They only serve fish and seafood. But what they do, they do well. Its a colombian fish place so they have your staples, like fried fish. To a colombian, this is like being back home. They also have colombian beverages. To everyone else, its just a place to get good seafood. The inside is small and has a bar sort of thing surrounded by small tables seating no more than four so don't expect to eat as a big group. The food is super freshly made so it does take a while for the food to come out. They also have stuff like coconut rice, ceviches, and suprisingly lobster. I would come around here if I'm in the area but I wouldn't drive to come here.

if you're looking for a superb, inexpensive fish soup or seafood "cazuela" (pot) this place is killer! the soup is a golden rich broth with chunks of fish and none of the rice or noodles other lesser fish places stuff their soups with..ask them to add cilantro and this will wake up the dead! now if you're looking for more substance, hit the seafood cazuelita...packed with octopus, fish, squid and shrimp in a thicker, chowdier version of the fish stock...outstanding! if you like to have wine with your seafood as i do, unfortunately the selection is one type of chardonnay or grigio but you won't care, as the soup/chowder is that good! the classic dishes here are the fried whole fish with side of coconut rice and fried planatains...wash down with cold colombian beer....coastal colombian heaven! i have eaten the soup or chowder here for many years and the old ladies behind the counter are slow (open at noon...maybe?) but definitely worthwhile if you are in the mood...
