Where this restaurant shines is with their customer service. Man were they nice while I was dining there. Because let's be real. It's an old small restaurant in a small shopping center serving your expected Chinese Food. The parking lot is very limited and shared by other businesses. The dining room itself is also a boutique where they sell ethnic statues, vases and whatnots. I ended-up buying a small Buddha while there. The restaurant was clean inside, they were extremely nice and blah, blah, blah. This restaurant mostly delivers to the surrounding area. The phone didn't stop ringing while I was there for lunch with orders. Rumor has it they are very friendly with their portions for delivery. All in all, not a bad choice for Chinese Food if you live in the area. They do have plenty of seating inside but, people seem to prefer the delivery option. Again, it's your expected Chinese Food options. Their fried rice was good. The pepper steak was great and their egg rolls are fabulous and crunchy. #KeepItLocal

Though delivery came on time, food was extremely greasy and crab ragoons came cold and only contained cream cheese inside. Good portions but not worth the low quality of food. Would not recommend.

The customer service at Kam Kee is top notch. The lady at the counter waited patiently while my boyfriend and I decided what to buy for our family. She answered all of our questions and even offered great suggestions. The wait for the food was not long at all and because we bought so much food they gave us a bag of candy on the house! I definitely wasn't expecting that. The food was better than any other casual Chinese restaurant I've been to. The breading they used for the honey chicken and sweet and sour chicken was fluffy, the special fried rice was cooked perfectly, and the fried plantains were just right. I will definitely be going back when I'm in the mood for greasy Chinese takeout again.

This was the closest Chinese food that delivered to my sister-in-laws house.... And how unfortunate was that! I mean, the special fried rice was mediocre. But when I, very excitedly, took a bite of my crab Rangoon a very important part was missing.... The CRAB! Completely filled with cream cheese. The egg roll was okay, and probably the best part of the entire meal. Blah! If you're a little further south, and want delicious Chinese- "Gourmet Gourmet" is the place! Located on LeJeune & Flagler.

First impression from outside was not great, located in a small strip shopping plaza on Palm avenue in Hialeah the exterior is typical for this area, I almost was having second thoughts expecting the same food experience I have had in the last few years at chinese restaurants. I have noticed in the last ten years many mom and pop chinese restaurants are cutting cost but in turn cutting the quality of the food. Worse mistake you can make in a restaurant. As soon as I opened the door I thought "this time it will be different" and I was right. Very clean inside, well lighted and decorated very nice. Dining area is small but cozy and seems like eating in would be very pleasant. My order is for take out though. The guys that helped my were VERY, VERY nice and you can tell they care. I ordered a qt of special fried rice an order of ribs and an order of fried wong tongs. When my order was ready I asked about hot mustard and to my surprise it was all in the bag including a large amount of soy and duck sauce something i also have noticed with chinese restaurants they are CHEAP with the sauces. One of the guys told me they prefer to give customers more than less. How was the food.... It was excellent. I was very happy. Everything I ordered was excellent. I will be returning to this place again. As a matter of fact I think once I write this Im going to order. LOL I also want to thank Erick A. and Janet D. I actually visited this place because of their reviews and they were spot on. UPDATE As i stated in my review I did order from here today. 2nd time I eat there and was very happy with the food quality. I found my favorite Chinese restaurant.

On a small corner of a strip mall in Hialeah you'll find Kam Kee, my childhood comfort Chinese place. They've been around since before I was and is a Hialeah take-away institution. I don't really know many people that actually eat there, though its not small with its red vinyl booths and assortment of tables. The family run operation has endeared itself into the hearts of many Hialeahans. The dad is the cook and mom and kids run the operation. Nicest folks you'll ever meet and they speak Spanish! Everything is great! My favorites are the Special Fried Rice and Pork Chop Suey. The Honey Chicken is pretty fabulous too. Every year they hand out a complimentary calendar, which my mom happily displays by the side of the fridge. And if you make it into the restaurant you'll find an assortment of lucky bamboo and chotchkies for sale.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
