Today is our 7 year anniversary. So after sleeping the morning away in Hollywood and eating breakfast at noon, we headed in a two mile walk to Dunkin. The store is clean. The staff is polite. The coffee is fresh. The donuts looked good - didn't have one. The bathrooms are clean. There is outdoor seating which was a nice touch.
Great location for Dunkin Donuts! I ordered 15 dozen Halloween Donuts for my office and they were amazing. I pre-ordered the night before and told them I would be there at 9:30am for a pick up. I arrived at 9:30 and they had everything packed and ready to go for me. They even helped me to my car! The donuts were so fresh and delicious!
Came here with my wife to get our donut fix. We were on our honeymoon from California and knew we had to get Dunkin Donuts because they are hard to find in California. This location is conveniently located next to the "Swifty Laundromat." It was perfect for us since we had to get some vacation laundry done. Once you walk in, you are hit by the coolness of their central air. It is truly an oasis of coolness and sweet treats in a land of hot and humid weather. Since this was our first time at a Dunkin Donuts, we asked the cashier what he would recommend. He was very helpful and provided service with a friendly smile. We opted for the Oreo crumble donut and a glaze. For caffeination we chose a regular coffee and a blended ice mocha. The donuts were yummy!!!! They were not overly sweet. Also the texture was amazing. The donuts were very chewy and made for a good texture of bready softness. The coffee was standard, but my wife's mocha was a pleasant surprise. To me, it tasted like a blended kit Kat or crunch bar. It was truly a treat. Definitely come here for good donuts and good coffee :)

We stumbled upon this little gem yesterday early evening. Ohhh boy what a great find!!! We were greeted by a friendly gentleman Raul, whom ended up being our waiter. Service was impeccable, food was outstanding. From the house wine to the caprice salad to the presentation of meatball w/pasta oil/garlic to the cappuccino and the complementary cannoli for everyone at the table. Thank you for the great dining experience. Will return.
What a nice surprise! Great Italian food is a rarity in Florida. I consider myself expert on Italian food and a bit of a food snob. I eaten in the best restaurants all over the US and all of the great Italian ones from NY, Chicago and California.. The service was polite and attentive. I started my meal with the arugula salad with goat cheese and walnuts dressed with fresh lemon juice and olive oil. The arugula was crisp and fresh. Dressing just right. My Dad has then pasta fagioli. My dad said it was better than his grandmothers. I know that sounds crazy. But my dad is a food nut too. We shares an antipasto made with fresh grilled eggplant, home made roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, prosciutto, salami, Kalimata olives, and grilled mushrooms. Everything was fresh and plated perfectly. My main course was veal parmigiana and pasta. The veal was tended and lightly breaded. It was not buried in cheese. The sauce was light and flavorful. Tha pasta was al dente. My dad had veal francese. Again cooked just right. He had roasted vegetables. He commented that they were seasoned just right. The roasted potatoes the same. I had several glasses of wine. Very reasonably priced. The wine list although not extensive was decent. Dinner for 2 was $100. Not including tip. For a nice night out I really have to give this place recommendation.
Excellent local ristorante! The calamari alla arrabiata is a must have. Definitely should go!

Juniper On The Water

Reviews:
It's great when a place is so good you can declare it your, "new spot". Juniper is that for me. And not for the flocks of people pouring in, or a massive waiting list to just sit at the bar. O' contraire mon frere! There is no wait. But it does have some elitist qualities you may or may not appreciate. It's very tough to find. It's very easy to imagine 50% of the wannabe patrons turning away because they couldn't find it. Tucked in behind one of the high-rises on the inter coastal side of A1A sits Juniper. You have to go through the gates of the complex to get there, and once through you see construction in the way and no place to park. Luckily we walked over, but they do have free valet, so don't be discouraged. We wouldn't even have heard of it, but there was word of mouth that was spreading on Hallandale beach about the place, and we thought to follow up on the good things we had heard. We weren't disappointed. Walking in, the first thing that hit me was the awesomeness of the long, lodge style dining room. Not a common design in south Florida, but I think it may have originally been a banquet hall for the condominium. And although my friends were split on how good the music was, I was diggin the Jazz lounge tunes wafting through the place. We were offered outdoor seating and took it. The ambiance outside was even better. Casual and romantic, it was great to kick back and watch the random boat troll past in the inter-coastal. This night we just got drinks and appetizers. I went with the house drink, The Juniper martini(Hendricks gin, quite good). The rest chose wines and a champagne. All served quickly. The apps were the calamari(excellent, and I'm picky on calamari), and a shrimp flatbread,(bland, crust too soft). A couple negatives at the end, but still a valid 5 star joint, if you can find it...
Went here for my husbands 30th birthday Sunday a few great friends and the mother inlaw food was extremely well put together it was an awesome, from the view to the service one of the best.
The ambiance is beyond compare; whether indoors or outdoors overlooking the marina and watching the boats go bye. One is welcomed by the staff wholeheartedly. From the cook to the bartender, Maitre D and hostess. The food is to die for, I haven't had a bad meal yet. Their array of imported wines impressed me so. Free Valet parking is a plus. Their happy hour menu is inexpensive, while made to feel like an aristocrat! B.A.

I've heard so much about this place for years, but it was only a recently I made a trip here. I went here fat 7:30am to get some breakfast and was I in for a deal. I ordered a half a breakfast: sausage, grits, eggs, biscuit and drink for $5! The apple jelly biscuit is to die for. Everything was delicious! Not to mention quick and friendly service. Check this place out if you are in the area and/or looking for wholesome food to get your day started.
Half breakfast of (smoked sausage, grits, egg whites, and butter biscuit w/syrup)! Yummmmmm!!! $4.50! Wow!
This is the best breakfast in the area. Everything fresh & cooked to order. Biscuits are just like Grandma used to make and the fish & grits are the bomb.

Great italian place. Low key.
This lovely little cafe tucked away in a very unassuming spot was a total surprise - it's a lovely space, perfect for a family meal or a step up from the casual date nite. The impeccable service is worth mentioning first. Seriously wonderfully friendly staff, attentive and incredibly accommodating with any dietary restrictions. The menu is concise and well thought out - a nice variety of options, and the dishes are all very complimentary to one another, so it makes it really easy to order individually or family style. Excellent traditional wine list, nothing unusual or trendy, you'll find your usual favorites and reliable vineyards. The collection is put together well, and the pricing is very on point. I tried a nice Rose and was very pleased with it. The appetizers and salads are hearty enough to share with one or two people, the beet salad was divine and the truffle fries cooked perfectly! Loved the artichokes, and the slice of tomato that came with them was really really flavorful! We ordered the half size gnocchi (perfect for one) and the eggplant - both were perfectly prepared and delicious. Can't wait to get back for a visit, it was like dining with family! (family you like, I mean!!)
This review is 3 1/2 stars..... This restaurant is practically hidden within a strip mall on the south side of Hallandale Beach Blvd. outside tables available. The food is very good and nicely presented. We started with grilled artichokes on arugula. Delicious....Followed by their red snapper special of the evening that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Although our waiter neglected to offer, upon our asking, bread is available upon request only. Homemade deserts are worth the indulgence. Service efficient. Plenty of free parking. Reservations strongly recommended.

The staff is welcoming and energetic. The food is delicious and fresh. The dining area is always clean. What more can I say? Firehouse is one of my new favorite lunch spots.
My boyfriend and I are in town for the week, and Firehouse was where we decided to get lunch after our long drive down. I got the veggie sub with grilled onions, peppers, and mushrooms, 3 kinds of cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard (I think that's all they put on it, anyway). I enjoyed my sandwich, but I wouldn't have opposed more veggies. Even though it wasn't stuffed with them, my sub was filling and the wheat bread it was on was very good. The woman at the counter taking orders was very kind and we were happy with our visit.
This place is always super friendly! The food is always fresh and good! Recently I tried their Hawaian pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing!!

If you are looking for good food, friendly service and at great value then this is the right place. We had the spaghetti marinara and the rigatoni and both were exceptional. Wine is also at a good price no real wine menu, whatever they have at the time but met our taste and again reasonable cost. At the LA Mer condos, you need to walk up to the security guard at the round about drive entrance. While we walked they also validate the parking. Don't expect fancy, just enjoy the family friendly meal. We will be back. Breakfast and lunch menus looked good too.
Such a peaceful place to relax and have a good meal. Service was good and so was the food!
Superb breakfast....personality and friendliness of the staff makes it a perfect experience.

The pizza from Little Caesars, in my opinion, is not the best, but it's sufficient in taste and value. I mean where else can you quickly get a hot freshly made large pepperoni or cheese pizza for five bucks with some greasy, yet yummy crazy bread? Little Caesars also makes a variety of pizzas, cheese breads, churros, and 8 piece Caesar wings in 8 flavors. The purchase of a 2 liter soda is optional.
