Taking a bite out of the sweet delicious Cinnabon feels like a party on top of a hot air balloon flying over an icing filled volcano on a deserted tropical sugar island. Incredible!

Wonderful! Happened upon this delightful restaurant when looking for a place to eat breakfast. What a happy accident! Food, service, atmosphere, all were just great. Owner could not have been more gracious, a total class act all the way around. We'll go back...

I just love their BLT sandwich with potato chips and a pickle spear. I try to order one at least once a week. The other item on their menu are just as delicious.

There are many places to get a good meal but there are few places that make you feel at home to the point that before your meal is over you are planning your next visit. My favorite aspect of this restaurant is that they will gladly fix anything I want any way I want it. Good food, great staff, you feel at home and you eat what you want.

The S&S Takeout

Reviews:
Successfully doing what so many restaurants are striving to do nowadays. Local food, eco friendly and healthy choices. Got the creamed turkey on a biscuit; the chef roasts an whole turkey breast, cuts it into chunk, and surrounds it with a light cream sauce made with homemade stock and fresh vegetables. The biscuit was buttery and delicious, there were huge and numerous chunks of turkey and the cream sauce was out of this world. Also tried the lima bean (pretty sure they were lima) and andoulle sausage stew. Earthy, rich and delicious. Got some beet greens because they're healthy. They were so fantastic! Just the right amount of acid and not cooked beyond recognition. Also, the service was amazing. The woman at the front is so friendly and helpful; she's willing to let you try virtually anything on the constantly changing menu. If I lived in Fort Pierce, we'd be friends. Especially if she brought food from the S&S Takeout.
Open for lunch- eat in or take out. A different menu made fresh every day based upon fresh ingredients from the local market. Soups, pasta, salads, entrees and dessert are served daily Monday - Friday. A unique experience and wonderful food. Come early because you will have to wait in line. Today I had a wonderful Frutti Di Mare with a creamy Parmesan Risotto' and Peanut Butter pie.
The food is good and fresh. I had the short ribs and asian salad (which they subed to accommodate my diet) and both were very tasty. The prices are good and so is the selection of pastries which all looked good but we're a no-go for me. The place seems to get quite busy at noon with all the businesses in the area but they're all coming for a reason. The place is quite hippie-ish though...

Dixie Donuts

I RARELY ever eat donuts but based on some of the great reviews ...it piqued my curiosity to check this place out. It's located bordering "da hood" and I was a little apprehensive about stopping in, but surprisingly enough, I'm glad I did. The friendly woman behind the counter greeted me cheerfully as I approached. I told her it was my first visit and asked what does she recommend. She handed me a glazed. Of course, it was very tasty, comparable looking, but much better tasting than Krispy Kreme. Had a sweet, doughy taste but crunchy. If I'm ever in the mood for donuts, I'd be back for sure. Coffee was decent too, but they don't make decaf ;-(
Ok best donuts ive ever had OMG!!!!!!!!
You ever wanted hot fresh donuts? The only place I know where you can get just that from 6am to 1pm. Okay, so there is another place, Krispy Kreme, but it's in Daytona Beach. And Dixie Donuts is a privately owned. No longer a franchised Dixie Cream Donuts shop. Fresh Orchid orange juice, McArther milk and fresh hot coffee. Tell where you saw this review!

Nino’s South Beach

1009 Seaway Dr

Reviews:
Great little spot tucked in the corner of a little strip center. Service was outstanding the owner/chef came out because my wife has a food allergy and they went above and beyond. Food was great too and I grew up on Italian!
This was our first time at this location. We have visited the Nino's Café in Vero many times. When we arrived the dinner rush was just ending. I brought my 2 boys, dad and his wife along. My dad and his wife ordered the 14" Nino´s Special and I ordered a modified Nino's Special, minus the bell peppers and onions for my youngest son and myself. My oldest son did not want pizza, which is odd for a teenager and he opted for the special of the night, Mahi served over linguini and tossed in a light cream sauce with butter and parmigiano. The food arrived in an acceptable amount of time. The Nino's special came as ordered; however, somewhere along the trip, the modified Nino's special, did not get modified and came out as a Nino's special, along with the bell peppers and onions. All was not lost; I pulled off the peppers and onions for my youngest son who is not a fan of either. Regardless, the pizza was excellent and was more than we could eat. Now for the Mahi. My oldest son was very happy with the fish and pasta. So much, I had difficulty sneaking a few bites off his plate. The portion was very generous and as he claimed, the fish was very, very good. We've made a couple trips back to FP, but haven't gotten back to Nino's, but we definitely will.
My parents and some of their friends decided on an easy breezy dinner of pizza after a hard day at the beach. There were eight of us in total. Nobody called up and reserved a table so really we were taking a chance on a possible long wait. Much to my surprise, we were seated within minutes. The waitress came over and started taking drink orders immediately. Someone suggested trying an Arnold Palmer which is half lemonade, half iced tea. A perfect combination, and everyone ordered their pies. We got a regular cheese pie. Living in New York I am pretty particular about pizza and thought to myself, ok, even a bad slice of pizza is still cannot be that bad. When the pies came out, the crust was nice and thin and crispy. The sauce was great and cheese was just the right amount, not greasy at all, not smothered in cheese, grease and sauce, it was the right combination of everything. I noticed it gets crowded in there fast. In the future I might want to reserve a table. But the service and pizza were really good. When I visit my folks, I will be back for round two.

I have to start by saying i thought the Tacos where over priced until i put away one and was full! to top it off they had a few Great Craft Beers, love the location. Warning being popular and small they can run out of things fast at time so get in while the have it. I had the Steak taco and it was delicious.
Went around 1:00 on a Saturday and it was packed' had the blackened fish taco plan without being blackened. Ordered rice and beans. I liked both. LOVED The. Shrimp taco!
I had the opportunity to visit Ft. Pierce with some friends. Part of the trip includes checking out a cool new restaurant in the downtown area called Taco Dive. I design and build restaurants for a career and was impressed with the simple decor and aesthetics. Efficient layout with plenty of room for people to sit and enjoy the local fare and with quality and friendly staff. Drinks were always full. Food came out timely and was very fresh. While at this "Hip Dive" I highly recommend the Drunken Burrito. Good amount of food and is packed with flavor. If your hungry, this is going to fill you right up. Definitely add fried egg and bacon. It may be a life changing experience. If your into spicy food, the Cajun Shrimp taco is da bomb. Fresh shrimp and all the fixins with a nice Cajun flare. The fish taco is always local fresh fish and you can taste it. Not as spicy as the Cajun shrimp but still exploding with flavor. Fresh guacamole everyday you just can't be beat. Another big plus is they constantly are looking to keep local microbrews on tap. A feature that I am sure most will enjoy. If your in the area I highly recommend going for a visit. Their a la carte menu allows for an affordable meal of fresh and delicious food couple a calm, friendly, and relaxing atmosphere. Great location to other shops and a killer microbrewery just a block down the road. Minutes to the water, and all by walking.
