Our Waitress Kelly was wonderful. Welcomed with a smile-told us discounts.very attentive. Food was excellent.I had ultimate skillet-am hooked!! Have had the burger before & quality of meat a happy surprise. Dad had fruitcup & scrambled with cheese.loved it. We go here during day & bathrooms have always been spotless. Never saw a waitress that was "on drugs".(?) Expect a little hectic Pace during Sundays & seasonal rush, but it us the same everywhere else too. you can't beat the good prices for what you get. Oh!! And ice cream & shakes-awesome!! Save room!

Denny's is great for breakfast. Portions are decent for the price. The decor is nostalgic and gives off a fun vibe. The service is usually on point as well. Love it!!

Came here for lunch, milkshakes were quite brilliant in there own sense, but they took quite some time to come out. I got the cinnamon pancakes, they were good but took forever to come out, the eggs were really cold and overall was slow. The greatest part about our meal was the brilliance of our server and the state of the art milkshakes.

Nothing too special about this Denny's, great service, the usual tasting food and coffee. Nothing was burnt, we went during a Sunday morning, we were sat fairly quickly, and had a standard dennys dining experience

We are regulars at Denny's in south FLORIDA for breakfast. I must say I was disappointed when I asked for sugar and I was told they were out of regular sugar packets! lol .. The waitress gave me some white sugar in a small container but not having sugar available was pretty irresponsible to me. The waitresses were very nice but it seems management needs some tweaking.
(3)Steve S.
Service was typical Denny's. Slow. Waitress had an attitude. Will not return. Didn't look like the typical franchise Denny's which is why we stopped. Another waitress sat at a table next to us and was counting her tips. She was complaining out loud how bad it was. Not a tourist friendly place. Go to Waffle House at least they have good pancakes.

Ok. Service was ok. Food was ok. The turkey bacon was blah bleh! The waitress was oooooook a little creepy. The hobbit hole was interesting. The French toast skillet was good. Very loud and very busy!!!!!!! Sticky table.
(3)Craig D.
I enjoy the affordable breakfast. Kelly is a great waitress. Jacoby is an exceptional cook

You truly get your money's worth here at Denny's. This is actually the first Denny's I've ever visited, since it doesn't even exist in my area. I cannot remember the last time I saw so much food served in one portion, and for a relatively low price. As for the diner itself, it was in a pretty convenient and central location to the Fort Myers/Estero area where I stayed for my real estate trip. The diner itself appears to be a restored classic diner from the 1950s, rather than the plain old brick-and-mortar establishment we're all used to - and that is where this Denny's gets its charm from. Recommended to anyone visiting in the Ft. Myers area who needs to fill themselves in the AM and be full until dinner.

Been waiting about 20 mins for food. Took 10 mins to be asked what I wanted. Brought coffee but no milk and had to wave down waitress to get milk finally. Since there are only 3 tables occupied and 6 wait staff seems inexcusable. Can only imagine what food will be like. Well food came. Mostly. Still waiting for side dish. Asked for check and told waitress side never came. She said "they" forgot Wonder who they were? In any event the manager didn't charge us for that entree-which was amazing since we didn't ask for it! My wife liked her omelet my 20 year old son liked his everyday value slam ( but he could eat wood and enjoy it). Can't get the feel of grease out of my mouth from burger- which was average at best. Can't get smell of grease off our clothes. On bright side the waitress was nice. Meal was inexpensive- you get what you pay for

Can't promise that it's better then other Denny's diners, but it suited us perfectly. Very friendly staff (a Brazilian guy).

First: We just cut a coupon out of the paper and it expired two days ago. Second: Next we orded iced coffee. A syrupy, milky beverage arrived. We asked for plain, iced coffee and this is what they had brought us. They took it back and served us coffee in a glass with ice and milk. One even had a shot of vanilla, not asked for. It was returned for the plain iced coffee. The taste was obviously decaf but we would not send it back again. Thirdly: Our meals were highly peppery. One country steak was asked to be light on the cheese sauce; however, the sauce was ladled on it. The Sante Fe Skillet dish was soaked in oil. We will NOT be returning to Denny's anytime soon. We always had good experiences in other States.

Make whatever you think as second choice your first choice. Second try on the Grand Slam here. Greeted by someone who asked me for my drink order... Ummmmm... Coffee... (Never suggested the great choices that I subsequently found out were available.) and was asked if cream was needed. Sure. A small carafe was placed next to my cup. Delicious though the green lid made me wonder if I was served Decaf. I need to know this stuff folks. I was asked immediately if I am ready to order. Milliseconds of getting the menu... I said that I have this voucher and I am not sure what it entails. She said any four on the Grand Slam... walks away... OK... But there are sections that are upgrades that may need clarification... Heck... Who cares? Just order... Well I down my coffee STAT and she refills quickly and takes my order... Here is where the problem begins. I note SEVEN people working. One of whom walks right by my obviously empty cup of coffee and did not offer to refill with the pot in her hand... No team effort here. And nobody even BOTHERED to take responsibility for the order. I sat for 15 plus minutes before it was discovered that I was not taken care of. Keep in mind that there was a total of five table's maximum being waited on. My waitress was courteous enough noted that I was neglected and expedited my order. Grits came up fast on the counter and just sat there for around 4 minutes before I asked if I could at least get them while I wait for the rest? They should have been served sooner. They were lumpy in the right places and I would have preferred more butter, but I didn't ask. She assures me the Rest would be out soon. And they did. Eggs over easy were extra-large and just right. The Hash browns were crispy but kind of neutral ... I should have asked for crispier. I added a ton of salt and pepper. And my sausage links. The links are what makes or breaks a breakfast. BREAK... Small and just poorly cooked. Overdone pre-made and just warm at best. I eat and guzzle... Coffee comes to $2.24 or something like that and a free $6.49 breakfast. Not worth the waste of time to get there. Over staffed and under serving... No customer value here at all. Find a mom and pop.

This place is gross and the food is bad.

It's a diner. What do you expect? Food is decent and plentiful, service is typical. We go there for breakfast once in a while. Where else could you see bikers having a beer with their breakfast at 9:30 AM? Oh, easy on the wallet too.
(3)Mikki S.
Terrible experience! Waited 40 min for order, breakfast was served cold, the waiter messed up the entire order and the manager looked like she didn't care much. Went to a different Denny's and it was good.

I am not from Florida nor if i was would i claim florida.I however ,claim MY part of Florida which was Fort Myers for various reasons. I went to school there and though it was cultural shock for this jersey boy, i grew to love that place. I was down there every summer for 4 or maybe 5 years until i moved up north officially this year. Every summer, there was a late night place we would hover around when we were drunk or whatever.. Primarily we went from Steak n' Shake,The 24 hour McDonald's in estero,Wendys,Taco Bell or "Taco Hell" over those years. All which resulted in funny moments, full stomachs, blown out bathrooms and dirty car interiors lol. Two summers in a row we started to move further and further away from the school and the area around it in a effort albeit futile at that time to grow up and be adults. To be honest my best friends and i the summer before while standing in a bar realized we were to old to be here which scared the heck out of us and from that point on we knew we had to move further away lol. Anyway Two summers in a row we literally were across from a Dennys. Now i had never been in one before but i heard quite a bit about it and none of it was good at first. Lawsuits, racism and other hot button issue weren't a deterrent but the didn't help the cause. Now i don't really remember when we started to go the classic Dennys but i knew when we went to beach we always past it. One night i think we were coming home from Ale house or what ever ...no clue..but me and Chris or Kurtis walked in. We were hooked...or drunk either way we loved the place.I Imagine that we would love anything at that point of both intoxication and hunger at that time of night...or perhaps that early in the morning. (Terrible mix lol ) The service was awesome and too be honest the other Dennys we use to go to the summer before(on Daniels i think) was exactly the same. Great food and despite the late hours we usually went there, the staff was awesome. So awesome they were usually good for a few laughs too at the expense of a few friends. The classic on was the ONLY TIME IN FLORIDA i felt it was at home\NJdiner. Food was impeccable and it was service with a smile late or early. They are awesome at breakfast and makes sobering up before going home a hilarious experinence...Definitely worth driving out of the way to go eat and experience..ENJOY!!

It's a Denny's, welcome to mediocrity. Come into the bathroom where grime means we don't give a crap about our guests. Your server needs dental work, and is high on meth (IMHO). Luckily your order came out as described for the greasy meal you knew was coming. What a shame to see a place that can be a welcomed midnight sanctuary, be a nightmare on elmstreet (with good hash browns). So your classic recipes for breakfast save your review from the gutter of the one star sad ness. Manager of this place, be ashamed! UPDATE: The owner contacted me and seemed genuinely concerned about what I had to say. I am happy to keep you updated. Good Yelping my friends, people do listen!
(2)Bill N.
Don't go here if your looking for fast service. We were there waiting 45 min for our breakfast to come..the food was good. Also tables were left dirty, several people left fed up waiting...
(1)Damien S.
Classic in every sense of the word. The French Slam prevented many a hangover, and my best credit card signature ever took place in their booth at 3:30am (DEVELOPMENT in all caps, printed meticulously from a single point-to-point line. A true work of art.) A cheap breakfast starts at $3 while a complete one will run you $7. Flavored fountain sodas with free refills, doo wop til you drop and I got arrested here once. Ask for your hash browns extra crispy. Service with a smile at any time of day, but the crane game is a guaranteed loss of a buck. Play the jukebox, love the late night availability and try not to get arrested.
(5)Cristina B.
We went there for a midnight debauchery meal at 1am. Our server Nichole was there all by herself doing the hosting duties, waitressing, and cashiering. The service was outstanding, and mind you she had at least six tables going, and our meals looked and tasted like they should have been on the commercial. Right now Dennys is one of my favorite restaurants in the U.S. And if you have the chance should check out how many different healthy options they have.
