Space 39

39 Patio De Leon
Fort Myers, 33901
Reviews:
This place really impressed me. The atmosphere suited me perfectly and made for a great end to my evening. The live music was perfect for the Space, I wish I caught the band's name. The art on the walls was enjoyable and the bartender was accommodating. I had the best time sipping my cocktail and reading the funny memes they had paying on a video loop. Space 39 gets an A++ and I look forward to going back.
Really enjoyed space 39. Classy art lounge! very relaxing and drinks are refreshing. Theres an outside lounge area to sit at as well.
Space 39 is one of my favorite bars in Fort Myers. The artwork changes approximately once a month, with their October Dark Art Show always being my absolute favorite! They have excellent custom martinis, a friendly staff that has been there for years, and comfortable seating. The new owner, Jason, is a lot of fun and cares enough to sit down and talk with all of the customers. The previous owners are even still somewhat involved and are total art experts! I give this place major props for all that they bring to the downtown area. This place is a haven for the fun, intellectual crowd who just isn't into the obnoxious frat-boy drinking scene. Two thumbs up! -Alexandra Drouhard

Fabulous catering. A sit down Passover dinner that was marvelous. Excellent service for a very large crowd of about 150 guests. The brisket was incredible. Everything was sensational.

China Wok

3285 Cleveland Ave
Fort Myers, 33901
Reviews:
This China Wok has great food and really good portions! Plus, their Lunch and Dinner prices won't "break the bank" for anyone with kids. Their Hot and Sour soup is so good that I willingly pay the dollar fifty extra to get this (instead of getting one of the two soups that can be substituted without extra cost for the egg roll) with my meal. And whenever my husband or I order a meal that includes brown gravy, honey, or sweet and sour sauce, they give you plenty! For almost a year now we've been ordering from this location about two or three times a month (we do "Delivery"), and the food has always arrived hot, and frequently earlier than the time frame they tell you over the phone. The Delivery driver has always been very respectful and polite, and from what we can see, takes pride in getting the food to their customers quickly. Only one time they made a mistake and sent Sweet and Sour Chicken instead of Pork. But this was corrected quickly and without a fuss. This China Wok is the only one we will order from!

I guess I lied earlier when I said that I would never give a Subway 5 stars. This gentleman (didn't catch his name) whom I believe was the general manager/owner, not only accepted by BOGO coupon, but took my order 5 minutes before closing (didn't know that they were closing) and never said a word about it. Service was fantastic and the place was immaculate.

Amazing yogurt and delicious toppings. This yogurt shop is one of the best I've been to. And the owners could not have been nicer. I highly recommend you give this place a try, you will be hooked! It's a shame I was only passing through Fort Myers when I visited them, but this is the type of place that will easily turn you into a repeat customer!

A friendly staff and all the great ice cream and other treats you find at all Dairy Queens make this a great place to stop for burgers or ice cream. This location is smaller than most, but it is very clean and well-maintained. We came on a buy one cone, get one free day. Good thing I have two hands. Love this place.

Oasis Restaurant

9931 Interstate Commerce Dr
Fort Myers, 33913
Reviews:
It is so easy dismiss hotel restaurants. More often than not they have a hostage mentality....no other easy options so they give you what they want without much thought or promise. Oasis is a totally different kettle of fish. Located in the Holiday Inn Fort Meyers Airport I have never seen more than a couple of diners and had always figured the restaurant was an afterthought or an obiligatory accroutement for the hotel. Especially after sampling the extremely poor selection of alcoholic beverages from the bar, I assume the restaurant would be similar. How wrong I was. I decided not to be transported across the highway to eat at the Gulf Coast Mall and instead sat down in the Oasis. Opening the menu I was surprised by the promise of great dining. I immediately focused on the Grouper Sandwich as I always try to eat local specialties wherever I am (I mean, why drink Budweiser in Amsterdam?). I supplemented my order with the Corn & Shrimp Soup. The Grouper: It was presented open faced with a wonderfully crisp Dill Pickle, crunchy Red Onions and firm yet tender Lettuce. The sauce was served on the side as was a healthy portion of seasoned French Fries. The Grouper was grilled, light, flaky, tender and moist. I cannot imagine any fish better prepared than this. The flavor was superb and I had no doubt this fish had not been long from happily swimming in the ocean. The Soup: Ever wanted to take a bath in your soup? I did. The broth was creamy without being cloying. I did not attempt to count the Shrimp....they were plentiful and the sweetness of the Corn did not overpower. This soup was luxurious. I have been coming to Fort Meyers every week for the past month and am sad to think I have wasted time and money searching for a decent meal. (I actually thought about going to Chic-fil-a on this trip but it was Sunday). I know now, I have to go no farther than twenty feet from the lobby elevator to enjoy a quality meal at a reasonable price. I still think their bar sucks.
