We have gone to New China Buffet many, many times and are never disappointed. We love the peanut butter chicken and enjoy many of the more standard offerings like green beans. chicken and broccoli, mushrooms (for me) and more. Instead of the substandard soft serve ice cream, they now have hard ice cream in tubs, so that is nice, though I am not crazy about the communal self-serve system where that is concerned. The soups aren't special but they are okay. The young lady who seems to be a floor manager is very friendly and funny. I have seen other staff interacting with customers also. It just feels more familiar than most places. The atmosphere is relaxed, with attractive lighting changing colors high on the walls. It never seems as noisy as other buffet places. I have friends who prefer larger Chinese buffets in the area, but we keep coming back to this one. Our favorite regular Chines restaurant is in Longwood, but this is our favorite buffet. If you look in local coupon books, you might see a coupon to save you 50 cents or a dollar on a visit.

Nothing special. Typical Chinese Buffet. Decent selection. No reason to return.

Some of the best food outside of NY. Best hot mustard I've had. The bananas and banana pudding are delicious.

Not the worse buffet I have had but the food was odd tasting which throws me off. We came here based on the other yelp reviews and I am very disappointed and feeling like I spent my hard earned cash on crappy food. We will not be returning here ever.

I am from Chicago, and know great Chinese food. Chinese Buffet, here in Eustis, is an amazing surprise of very good Chinese. Most importantly, the food is always fresh due to the large turnover of customers. Even thought it is a buffet, they have made to order dishes, but 99% choose the buffet as the dishes are well prepared and just plain delicious. Their peanut butter chicken is something I never saw anywhere else and is not to miss. Their soup, desserts, sushi, all included and surprisingly good. Servers, and owner, are extremely cordial and they will appreciate your patronage. If we didn't live here, would gladly travel to enjoy it.

My children and I aren't huge fans of buffet. Problem is, usually it's either overcook, undercook, been sitting there forever, or just simple: mass produced not a lot of flavors. Overall, I like a lot of the dishes at this place. 2/3 of the protein they have here is chicken, though they do have shrimp *boiled or on the hibachi, beef (only on hibachi), pork , mussels etc. I like their addition of a hibachi and ice cream in their cooler. One of the things that makes this place nice is the friendly service, not having to wait on drinks *always refilled my glasses once they gotten to halfway* and fact the food is hot. Not a huge fan of their desserts, but that's just personal taste. They do serve some fresh fruits, pudding that are nice. Overall, I prefer this one over a lot of the other China Buffet in our area.

The women here were exceptionally sweet to my grandmother; taking great care of her & for that I'm bumping them a star. The food alone is probably a 3, but they were so sweet and friendly towards my old lady that I've gotta give them some love. When we went, it was on a Sunday, so they were offering a seafood buffet as well as the hot food bars. The seafood bar included raw oysters (didn't make me sick but weren't spectacular, either), shrimp, questionable "sushi" rolls, some kind of mayo-intensive seafood salad and several other options. In the hot area, they have everything from black pepper pork with scallions to corn dogs, from dim sum dumplings to frog legs. Yes, frog legs; and they were quite tasty! Another animal I can cross off my must-eat list. A few of the items tasted a little bit of MSG and others had a thick corn-syrup based sauce I imagine would be hard to find in small-town China. The egg drop soup was made with thick clumps of egg and the hot and sour soup wasn't very hot or very sour, but it wasn't awful, either. Overall, the food is just OK, though my grandmother absolutely adores it. I'm biased because we have a nice little China Town in Vegas where I can get food without the corn syrup or MSG, but for a small town in the middle of Florida, this ain't bad, either. And the girls are so nice! Wow. SO nice. Thanks for taking good care of my old grandma!

I used to come here all the time before I moved out of state. Prices are great, food was a four out of five stars. The buffet is not that large, but you've got all your bases covered and it's overall much fresher than other places I've been. Missing this place now that I live in New Jersey! :(

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
