We tried a special that they had today which was amazing! It was rib meat on a sandwich with 2 sides for $7.99. Our waitresss really talked it up when we were ordering and it just seemed too good to pass up. The coleslaw was perfect and the sauce on the rib meat was everything! The lunch portions and prices are decent. The best part of the restaurant had to be the decor. All around the restaurant are quirky quotes and jokes. My least favorite (also why I only gave 4 stars) was the hostess. She could use a lesson on not passing judgment while doing her job... but I'll save my rant since my waitress was so welcoming and friendly.

This was our first time here. I ordered the combo of chicken and ribs and two sides and it was very good. The sauce choices are all good. My husband got the ribs also and loved them and he is picky with his ribs.

Ribs were good. Beef was awful, 1/3 of the pork was rare. Waitress was great! Dirty carpet in restaurant. Really gross. WHY do they put carpet in restaurants!?

The smoked chicken is microwaved. We ordered it twice and it came out the same way. Steaming with slimy skin. 4 slices of turkey, so thin like from a package bought at costco. The ribs were so shrunk up that I felt like I ordered it from " honey I shrunk the kids" or off the mcrib sandwich at McDonalds. What kind of portions are these? Please do me a favor and go one exit up to Famous Daves BBQ. Or drive 20 min. up the road to smokin pit. I grew up on a farm and this crap is not good old smoked bbq!!

We ordered the baby back ribs, St. Louis ribs and the BBQ chicken. The food was great, however, the St. Louis ribs tasted a little too smokey. The meat falls off the bone.

We got the lunch size portion baby back rib plates. The ribs were tender and delicious. The BBQ sauce was flavorful but not fantastic. The baked beans were the best I have ever had. WOW!! Total for two with sodas came to $23.00. Very good value for the price.

Ordered the pick 2 and got the baby back ribs and sliced beef. Both were very good and the meat fell off the bone. The coke slaw and baked beans were very good was well. Great server and will def go back.

Pulled pork was very good. Baby backed ribs were overdone. Wife ordered sweet potato fries that didn't come with the meal. When they did come the were burnt black and should have never come from the kitchen.

With a name like Rib City, you better serve some lip smacking ribs and fortunately this place delivers. The ribs are a classic baby back style cooked until they almost fall off the bone, served with fries, and texas toast. There were no left overs on my plate. I found the decor of the place sorta fake, as in we want it to look like an authentic southern BBQ joint, but it comes off as something that looks like Disneyified or put together by an interior designer located in New York City.

Great food, awesome service. Just walking up to the build your mouth waters from the smell of the bbq cookers. I highly recommend Rib City if you want a good priced meal with good service.

Rib city started here and has franchises in many states. I can't do ribs that beat them! They smoke the ribs long enough to have a true smoke ring. And their baked beans are very good. In my opinion, their best "special" is .50 cent beer nights

Been here 3 times and it's so good. I tried a couple other bbq places in the area and this is a winner. Sauces are GF and so is their meat, most sides and their sauces. Their Chicken is moist and delicious, Ribs just fall apart and are amazing, the smoked beef is so good. I am also a huge fan of their beans and their HOT BBQ sauce is so good I bought a bottle to take home. I'm glad they don't have one on the east coast and if they do don't tell me, I'd get fat!

Having lived in Memphis for several years I am very selective when it comes to ribs. I have found very few chain restaurants who meet the standard that I am accustomed to, Rib City was at best average. They advertise their ribs as fall off the bone tender, they were. However signs of real smoke were rare, either visually or by taste. The baked beans were boring, but the beer was cold. I was really disappointed in the sauces available at the table. Two of them almost tasted the same, the waitress assured me they were not. None of the three really had any kick, heavy mustard and vinegar taste. The big disappointment came with the Key Lime pie we ordered. I know, it is a rib joint but the pie did not have any, and I mean any, key lime flavor. We actually asked the waiter, she was outstanding, and she assured us it was key lime. She offered us a coconut cream pie (we thought she had goofed), it wasn't bad. They are trying a bit to hard on the decor. Goofy sayings and junk on the walls were distracting. Our waiter was great, bright spot of the night.

Atmosphere inside the restaurant is not great. Outdoor patio is loud due to the road. Back ribs were ok but not worth going back for. Beef brisket was awful. Pulled pork was average. Wings were nothing special. I will not return here.
