Bice Grand Cafe Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I've been here twice more in the past two weeks. (House guests both times liked the look of the menu and the happy hour deals.) Happy hour was great. We sat outside, got chilly and asked if the heater thingies could be put near us. We were told they were only for those eating dinner there. Talk about making one feel like a second-class citizen! Anyway, it did get crowded and we asked if we could be moved inside, they opened more seating and we were fine. Anyway, to the food. Drinks are 1/2 price and appetizers 25% off during happy hour. We each ordered two appetizers and discovered they're huge...one each would have sufficed. They were very good. I had the eggplant parmigiana and coconut shrimp and found both to be excellent. The place was crowded (bargain hunters like us, no doubt) so service suffered. But they seemed to be doing as best they could. Next time I went with another group for dinner. I had the Tuscan grilled Atlantic salmon which was delicious and perfectly cooked. No complaints at all and our server was efficient and charming. Drinks were ample and I'm only sorry I was too full to try the Johnnycake cobbler with berries and ice cream. Next time. They keep it up, I may have to go to 4 stars.

On a whim we stopped by this restaurant on a Monday evening. We were so surprised at the atmosphere at the bar lively and active with a super happy hour from 3-7 with 1/2 drinks and 25% off appetizers. We like to sit at the bar and have drinks and appetizers so for us it was ideal. Our bartender was Jen who was friendly, informative and attentive. We were extremely pleased by the selection, flavor and prices. We had the Thai chicken wraps which were more than enough for two people and the chicken nacho's ..not your average nachos...Next time your in this area BE SURE to stop in and hopefully you will have the pleasure of Jenn as your bartender but go quick cause she's heading West!

given my last review, this is where we ended up at coconut point, and thank goodness. waitstaff was great, coming to our table at just the perfect moments. food was delicious. we sat outside which was packed, but not too noisy. peeked inside, nice decor. very comfortable, nice price range, great food. would definitely return and bring friends.

The Worst Pizza Ever! Three friends and I went to Bice for lunch. What a mistake. Though the menu choices sounded wonderful, there was much to be desired when the food FINALLY arrived. One of my friends ordered the herb crusted salmon salad. It was not herb crusted at all - instead it looked like it was sprinkled with parsley after it was cooked. Actually, it was undercooked, almost raw in the middle and had to be sent back. All this after waiting at least a half hour for our order. I ordered a lunch special - margherita pizza with a side salad. The salad was good, but the pizza was one of those pre-frozen things that you can pick up in the grocery store. For this I paid over 10.00? I would say save your money and go to one of the many other good restaurants Bonita has to offer. This one is terrible and the service is worse.

Best happy hour in the area, hands down. Drinks are 50% off, and their generously-portioned appetizers are 25% off. Two of their appetizers make a meal, and their jerk tuna and grilled chicken lettuce wraps are both top notch, as are the jicama tacos and spicy mussels which come with some solid garlic bread. The numerous times my friends and I have gone for happy hour, we can't get over how cheap the bill is for the amount of food and drink we consumed. The crowd is definitely of the older variety (par for the course in SWFL) but the quality of what you're getting is absolutely well worth it. If packed, as often is the case especially in season, the service can be slow if sitting at a table in the bar area, but no issues when sitting up at the bar. I've never eaten in the dining area, so cannot speak to their lunch or dinner service, but if it's anywhere near as good as happy hour, I'm sure it would be well worth it as well.

We haven't been in a while and Bice still has great food and service. We enjoyed the Navajo Burger and the Grilled Shrimp Club was really good. Guess we need to get back down there more often.

Crappy & over rated. food lousy and overpriced with rotten service. Waitress disappeared mid meal - took 15 min to find a mgr that could settle our tab so we could get the hell out of this dump. don't know what they're getting by on besides a good location. Never again

As with the other reviews we weren't here for happy hour. Our hotel recommended it. I think they have a thing with this restaurant. Our service was very slow. The calamari was good. The pizza left a lot to be desired! Would not recommend unless you are going for the cheap drinks and not the food.

Bi-chay? Not Bice? Rice? Twice as nice? I've been here a few times for lunch and this is the first time I've ever heard the correct pronunciation. (Scrolling a few reviews down I can see I'm not the only one that thought Bice was Bice.) If only Blue Water Bistro was open for lunch - this place is painful. Painful service, painful disorganization, just...pain. Coming to FL I expect to slow down a little, but this place pretty much operates in slow motion. I can't explain why either - it was a 2:30 lunch with a handful of other occupied tables. Things should have been flying out of the kitchen, or at the very least - power walking. Not so much. We had to flag down our waitress for everything, which was especially difficult considering we were sitting outside and she was inside 98% of the time we were there. The table next to us waited so long for their check I thought they were just going to up and walk out without paying. They probably could have. Getting refills on drinks was near impossible, and I never knew it could take 45 minutes to create two salads. For a place that feels like a mini-cheesecake factory in style and menu variations, they sure don't operate like one. The salads were (and always have been) okay, and the various apps we've tried have always been better than any entre we have ordered. The thai lettuce wraps are a carbon copy of what they give you at The Cheesecake Factory (still tasty though) and the various tuna sushi apps we've tried have always been good, though they always bring over ONE set of chopsticks for a sushi app no matter how many people are at the table. But by the time you realize you only have one pair, the waitress is long gone and probably won't resurface for at least 15 minutes. Moral of the story: slow. Go here if you like to wait for what can only be described as "food" for what seems like foooor-eeeeevvvv-eeerrrr.

Ok, so it was Valentines Day but... After taking our drink order promptly and delivering the drinks, we din't see our server again for an hour. Meanwhile, two tables that came in after us actually had their dinners arrive. When our order finally was taken, turns out 'the kitchen' lost it. When it arrived, 2 of the orders were wrong and had to go back. When the bills came, 4 of the 4 bills were wrong and needed to be re-done. Yes, it was Valentines Day and the serve was new and pleasant. My negative review is focused on the manager who assured us shortly after we were seated that she was on top of the service, even though they were busy. After all, they had 10 servers working that night she told us. She knew our service was late, she knew the meals came out individually and not together, she knew 2 of the 6 meals were wrong. She knew of the 3 tables we reserved, that we were the first to arrive yet the last to be served. The role of a restaurant manager is not to be smug to her customers and removed from the obvious lack of good service. On a brighter note, 4 of the 6 folks at our table enjoyed their meal. My suggestion is that the manager go back to Customer Service training and learn at a minimum to acknowledge poor service and take steps to rectify it.

Service was great. Eddie was fantastic. It was our first visit and friends told us they had a fantastic happy hour. We went for dinner and the Chicken Madeira was good. Drinks were good. Dessert was AMAZING. Had the berry cake thing and it was perfect. Food was average, dessert above average and service was great. We will go again soon.

Had a birthday lunch with a friend at Bice Cafe at Coconut Point. We both ordered the pear salad...even asked our waitress if the pears were ripe and told they were. Salad came...pears were as hard as rocks. We told the waitress and she could have cared less. Even told her to report to the kitchen that the pears were like tasteless apples. Ugh! No response. I've been there twice and will not go back. Not worth the price and food is below average....especially for the cost!

If Brunch is your plan, find somewhere else. Called for reservation for Sunday at 10:30 and was told there was a buffet for brunch. When we got there on Sunday, they didn't open till 11am, and there were only about 8 items for "brunch". Food was acceptable, not good. I hear the Bice in Naples is much better!

I happen to love Bice pronounced Beechay. The food Is great and the price is reasonable. Need i say more? I'm not that picky about slow service, I believe dining should be a total experience not a race. The atmosphere is a 3, it's modern, clean, interesting and has outdoor seating on two sides, I recommend the front, also a bar area with a happy hour and a dining area too. Again, the food is very good, the menu is creative and a lot of items resemble the cheesecake factory for good reason. Great value.

Bice is sort of a strange restaurant because the atmosphere makes it feel like it should be an upscale restaurant, but the menu does not. I like it here and keep coming back for the really great (albeit very messy) veggie burger. I have tried other things and it's been hit or miss. I recommend coming for lunch and eating outside.

We had been to Bice Grand a few times since last summer. Acceptable bar food and an all-hours happy hour. Nice service. Our family tried for dinner last Wednesday.....We walked in ,were not greeted by anyone and so took a table ourselves. It was not busy. Waiters, busboys and , I think, the manager were scurrying by our table for 15 minutes and still no acknowledgement or service, so we left. Manager's apology on the way out was weak. This place is off our list.......

Good food, pleasant service, very nice atmosphere - and our lunch order was very slow, wrong salad (although good) and the Malbec had been open a few days.

I didn't love anything about Bice, but didn't hate anything about it either. Most comical were people trying to figure out how to pronouce the restaurant's name. The place is huge, and features an outdoor patio overlooking the picturesque Mall parking lot. Yipee. But I will say that for a mall restaurant, the interior was attractive, if not impressive. High ceilings and rich furnishings in the dining room made it a pleasant experience. The service however from the waitstaff, and barman was curt if not a little rude. I will say however, that they prices were more than fair even after the very popular happy hour. That said, the house wines we sampled were horrifiically bad. I would recommend sticking to mixed drinks instead, except the glasses they are served in are about the size of a thimble. No Joke. The bar area of hte dining room is less attractive than the more formal area that is partiioned off although it features the same menu. I'd recommend the primary dining room over the bar as it is more attractive and features 'gasp' table clothes? who'd of thought. OK, so the food is not great, but it's better than say olive garden or fridays, which is somewhat how I'd describe the pricing and offerings. Mixed between steaks/american fare and italian offerings... The menu is more sophisticated than those two chains, but not by much. Pricing is more than reasonable as well. All in all, this isn't a destination restaurant, but if you'r ein the area or mall and want to sit down for a quick, but decent meal and have a cocktail, this is a great option for you.

Same restaurant, but they've got a new name -- Quattrocento ("four hundred" in Italian). Service on a Friday early in October -- early in season, but in season nonetheless -- was fast and well-paced. The food was capably prepared; my fiancee had the chicken marsala, while I had the mushroom ravioli. Oddly, my pasta dish was served with mashed potatoes (not a bad thing, just unusual), and her chicken had a distinct Asian flair. Perhaps they're trying for a fusion-style menu? The wine list is unfortunately short, and not terribly well paired with the foods they serve, but it's got a number of well-recognized names, and the pricing is for the most part, decent (although on a couple of wines, I kind of was surprised to see a 3x markup from retail, rather than the standard 2x. Perhaps I just shop well for wine). Still, for the two of us, with a beer and a glass of wine (almost everything on the wine list is available by the glass -- in some cases, for less than 1/4 the bottle price), the bill was under $50, so it's definitely affordable. The only oddity was how empty the place was -- even this early in season, with the reasonable prices they charge, I'd have expected it to be busier at 7 PM on a Friday. As large as the restaurant was, it had an entire wing left unused.

Went for lunch in spite of some of the reviews. I had the herb crusted salmon salad and my wife had the cob salad. Both were quite large and full of good stuff. Unfortunately my salmon was as hard as a rock. It was very over done. Our server to his credit had another piece of salmon ordered from the kitchen. I only wish he had come by a little earlier. I am used to servers coming to check on the meal relatively soon in the meal so a correction if needed can be instituted. He asked how I would like it I said medium to medium rare, just not hard. It came and was delicious. I would order it again. If this had not been corrected it would have ruined the experience. Kudos for doing the right thing.

This Bice location is the best!!! Different owner different menu then any of the others in Florida. Price is the same as any average chain restaurant Had the Navajo burger. Navajo Burger Angus beef with avocado, red onion, tomato, crisp bacon lettuce and cheddar, with thousand island dressing served in folded pizza crust Atmosphere was cozy and clean with a vintage movie motif Great music relaxing Jack Johnson type music Service was excellent Burger is unique to this location only Cost 1395 Definitely going back From what I hear everything at this location is authentic fresh and delicious. Specially the eggplant appetizer

The food here is just nasty. The chicken piccata tastes like they unwrapped it from a microwave dinner. Make sure you ask when the bar closes because they won't ask if you want another drink before it does. Same goes with food get all your orders in before 9. There will be no warning. The staff has no desire to make your meal enjoyable and the food is not worth the money.

We went to Bice Grand Cafe for lunch / dinner, it was seven of us, including four children, the waitress was very attentive and kid friendly, our food arrived in a timely manner, and was delicious and beautifully presented. The management took the time to come and check on our table, and even brought us refills and a few more things to complete our entrees. My friends and I left with a good experience and would definely go back!

Had the BBQ chicken salad and it was good. Actually it was really good and it was Huge. Chicken was clean ( no gristle ) avacado was ripe and green. My wife had eggs Benedict she said was good but the potatoes seemed old like they were sitting for a while. Service was ok.. I'd go back.. Well I went back and service I thought was really slow and they weren't even busy. Had the Bice chicken sandwich and it was rubbery. Like it was frozen and microwaved or something ( not saying it was ) just the texture seemed like it. So I wouldn't order that again. My wife however loved the potstickers...

    (3)
  • Jake V.

I've been here a few time before, and the food is always good, this time I had the chicken potstickers as an appetizer and they were awesome, I love the sauce that it comes with and they're fried to a perfect crisp. And for my entree I had the Chicken Marsala which was out of bounds! The Marsala wine sauce that was on top of the chicken was very tasty and the chicken was tender. The only down side was the pasta that the chicken laid on, it was a bit under cooked and had absolutely no flavor just tasted like butter and it was unenjoyable and the service was iffy like the past times I was there. Will most likely be back.

This restaurant is located in the sprawling Coconut Point Mall in Estero...though I thought I was in Bonita springs.....sorry, just a tourist. The Salmon Carpaccio appetizer was great. The Chicken Mediera was mediocre, but I liked the mashed potatoes. The chef's special ladyfinger dessert with amaretto was very good. Also, I didn't care for the oil and Parmesan cheese mix served with the bread. It wasn't very tasty. Service was acceptable. The waitress was friendly. Not get bitchy about Bici, but the dessert took a while. Overall, I would go back!

After a terrible night of service and mediocre food, we felt compelled to speak to the manager. To our luck, she had already gotten off work before all of the other staff. The other manager came to speak us and could only offer us "free shots." Enough said. Go literally anywhere else.

Food was horrible, service was horrible. Never coming back. To begin with we waited about 5 minutes at the front and no hostess ever showed up to seat us. We ended up seating Ourselves. I ordered a grouper sandwich that was slimy and fishy, not fresh at all. When I squeezed my sandwich it dripped grease and water. My husbands Caesar salad was bland and chicken avocado sandwich had no flavor. About this only thing that salvaged my meal were the French fries which were nice and crunchy. Save ur money and go to one of the many other restaurants in the area. Have a stomach ache as we speak... Blek

It pains me to leave this review because I love this place but after waiting for 15 min just for our drink order we got up & left. Poor service, called back to speak to manager & the girl who answered the phone asked 'who's calling'? I told her I was a customer & I was then disconnected. Poor customer service all the way around.

My family and I came here for lunch after arriving in the Fort Myers area, so needless to say, we were very hungry a little tired and looking to relax. David our server was great! He seemed to still be training, but did a good job with care and attentiveness. The other staff members also did a nice job working in the half empty restaurant, so not sure how this place functions on a busy night, but service was not the issue. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the tempura fried grouper sandwich for $18. It came out looking like a reject sandwich from some greasy fish fry joint. Not as elegant as the menu suggests! The sad looking dozen or so french fries that complemented the meal clearly originated from a freezer bag. Granted, I was starving, so I ate it, but it was thoroughly disappointing. The glass of sauvignon blanc was decent, but they cant claim much credit for that. The salads that came out looked good, however, the kitchen screwed each one up by ignoring requests for no cheese and dressing on the side. We ordered a pizza for the table- blah! The food is the reason for the 2 star rating service was more like four stars. This place just seems to be a corporate restaurant chain that cant quite make the grade on fine dining, although this is clearly their intent. The atmosphere is pleasant enough and there is ample outdoor dining, but the view is of the parking lot. Who wants to dine listening to cars honking at each other and have their overpriced pinot come with a car exhaust finish? Oh yeah, and to top it all off they tried to charge us twice for a salad that was sent back to rectify their mistake! Do yourself a favor and keep yelping til you find a better option.

Worst dining experience had in 10 years of coming to Florida. Ordered a pepperoni pizza, got a pear pizza. Ordered a chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes got chicken and fries. Ordered a jack and coke got a jack on the rocks. We apparently were dining just before the company xmas party so our server Keith informed us everyone was "half assing" it. So sorry we came and your staff was so lazy. This is one of the most unprofessional things I have ever seen. We literally felt trapped by your ensuing holiday party and it was as if we should not have showed up. Don't worry, if the staff getting wasted and everyone taking the night off is your idea of good service: then we will never come back. I will tell all my family and friends to avoid this restaurant plagued with unprofessional staff and management. Happy Holidays to you as well, Chris Sudlow

Cocktails were nice. Had a couple of whisky sours with a delicious steak salad. The put cut potatoes on it as well. We dined outside. Good lunch option. Service was a bit slow.

Very disappointed! Bicce Fifth Ave. was recommended, so took a chance at this one while shopping. My husband's steadk salad was completely tasteless. mediocre bread basket. Indifferent service. My barbeque chicken salad was boring - mostly chopped lettuce. they were out of the wine my husband, so the waiter brought another one - and didn't offer to have my husband taste it first. Expensive - like Brio, Bricktop and Bravo much better.

Sometimes the food just doesn't matter. We went to Bice with another couple. The other couple wanted to order off the happy hour menu. My husband and I wanted to have two regularly priced entrees because we had a two-for-one entree coupon. We asked the waitress if it was ok to use the coupon if the other couple was going to order off the happy hour menu. She said she would check and when she returned she said it was ok to do so. With that, we ordered our food. When we had finished eating, our waitress asked for the coupon so she could adjust the bill for our two-for-one entree, but then everything started to unravel. First, an assistant manger came out and said we could not use the two-for-one coupon because the fine print on the coupon says, "Cannot be combined with any other offer," and since food and drinks had been ordered off the happy hour menu, we could not use the coupon. We explained that the other couple had ordered off the happy hour menu, but we had not, and that the bill should be split between the two couples to reflect what each couple had ordered. The assistant manager seemed to be ok with our explanation as she walked away, but a couple of minutes later the general manager came by and also said we could not use the coupon. Again, we explained the situation, but he said it did not matter, the coupon could not be used. To shorten the story, with some additional "persuasive" discussion, the general manager finally agreed to allow us to use the coupon. If we had been told that the coupon could not be used when we first asked our waitress about it, it would have been just fine. However, having it become an issue when settling up the bill even though we originally asked for and had received permission to use it, was a little unreasonable.

A bit pricey if you aren't here for happy hour.. Service is pretty slow too. But I suggest trying the Golden Margherita it's really good!

We have been to Bice in San Diego and Estero and both are great. The happy hours are very good in both places. The one in San Diego has a cheese bar that we like. Most recently the one in Estero we had the tuna tempera roll and chicken strips. The service was good, prompt and friendly. Finally made it here for dinner. There were 4 of us without a reservation and they were very accommodating. Chicken Marsala was excellent. We were able to choose our pasta if you didn't want fetticini. Did not disappoint.

This was my WORST experience ever there. I was there on a Sunday before Xmas on a gorgeous day. The waiter was totally clueless, he didnt know his food, the items on the menu or what was available for substitution. The food took forever and it came out WRONG. Waiter never came back I had to go in to find a manager and when I did the staff was playing gymnastics in the bar area. The woman being lifted up in the air was the manager that came out when I asked to see one. Turns out she was the hotess, not the manager but she portrayed herself as the manager. She didnt even bother to apologize. Took more time to flag down a zombie like bus boy for a to go container for a pizza and he brings the wrong kind. Come on folks, care a little more about your customers. I wont be back there are plenty of other options.

We went for a late lunch. Excellent salads - we had Asian Chicken and Steak over mixed greens. Not overpowered by dressing, fresh greens, totally hit the mark. Appears to have a full bar and wine list - for lunch we did not investigate. Wait staff was attentive, atmosphere was comfortable.

My office is at Coconut Point Mall and with Bice right downstairs, I make it down there a lot. They have a great happy hour (4-7)! Half price apps and drinks. The calamari is awesome and a favorite of mine. If you like burgers, Bice has the best burger in town!

Service is not great. The food is OK. I would stay clear of this place if you need a reasonably quick meal. They are understaffed. I am not impressed. I wold not go back unless I was at the shopping area and just needed to eat.

No, this restaurant is not a tribute to American Idols Bo Bice...in fact it's pronounced Bi-che...or after a few drinks, bitch ;) This was my second visit to Bice, first ime was for lunch...had a great shrimp/avocado club with sweet potato fries...solid. This time I was there for dinner, so I had the Farfalle Salmon....well, the smallish cocktails(luckily next door at the Grill Room they are HUGE) caused me to pronounce it Falaffle....ah well. The sauce was very good but I was a little dissapointed...in a place like this you would expect a salmon fillet with pasta underneath, not salmon pieces thrown into and tossed with the pasta.... Now onto the next dish...their signature excellent chicken maderia. The portion size of this dish made it very clear why America has an obesity problem...it came with 2 huge chicken breasts wih cheese and enough mased potatoes for at least 3 people....and asparagus...it was GREAT, but there will be leftovers if you plan to eat this dish alone...if there are no leftovers you are either a fat whompus or extremley high. Dessert we all got a choclate brownie Sundae to split...it was ok...the brownie was a little dry, and I have better versions of this in my day...if I wasn't so full from the pasta and chicken dish I split with my sis in law, might have had room for another dessert, which all sounded good. Is the the best place in SW Florida, no, but definatley worth a trip for the chicken dish I mentioned...you will not leave hungry no matter what you get!

I will never go back. I was very disappointed in my experience. I had eaten at Bice in downtown Naples and the Bice at Coconut Point before, however this was my first experience with the new Bice Grand Cafe. I will never go back even though I only live 2 miles away. We were waiting at the table for at least 15 minutes before being met by the waiter. The service was also beyond substandard for any price. My fish was not only extremely small (grouper- it was the size of a small walleye and hardly looked like a fish- I couldn't believe how small it was) and was extremely undercooked. The fish was so undercooked that I didn't eat it. It came with veggies that were mostly burned and mashed potatoes that were the same as I've had at an "Applebees" quality restaurant. Additionally, one person at our table (one out of four) received the wrong item- a cheese and chicken sandwich instead of one of their "special" fish dishes. The young man that delivered our food assured us the food would be rushed. By the time our waiter came over to apologize for his mistake everyone else was done with our food and the fourth person still hadn't received her food that was being "rushed". This was the first time our waiter visited the table other than taking our order. The manager also came over to apologize, however it was hardly an apology as he was very rude about it. Nothing was taken off of our bill for the mistake they had made- not even the food they messed up on ! Again- I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone, ever. Save yourself the money and time- go to Blue Water Bistro instead if you want to have a good meal at Coconut Point. So beyond disappointed.

My wife and I went to Coconut Point for shopping and for brunch on a beautiful Sunday. Sadly this is not a good review for a restaurant that has potential but the service was horrendous. My wife order coconut shrimp appetizer and chicken burritos and I order the breakfast panini. We waited 25 minutes and the waitress never came buy and all of the food was brought at the same time. Food was cold so it obviously sat there and we finally had the waitress come buy to bring the bill. Food is average and the service is poor and when I asked to see the manager I was told that he was busy. Called afterwards and guess what I am still waiting....

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
