This was our 1st visit, and we were greeted immediately. This was Friday, so a fish fry was offered for $9.99 we never had Basa fish before, but the gentleman who seated asked if we would like a sample to see if that was what we wanted to order it. It came with coleslaw , and potato pancakes or French fries. The basa fish was lightly breaded and crispy and mild and the potato pancakes were great! We ordered mixed drinks that weren't the best, but the food and service made up for it! They also had a band tonight who had very good vocals. We will definitely be back

Went for dinner on a Saturday. Around 6 pm three other tables occupied. Ordered Gator Bites appetizer. None left as someone just ordered last portion. Ordered calamari instead. It was good. Small portion. Came with marinara sauce. Cups of seafood chowder. Noticed generous slices of bacon and shrimp. Creamy and good. Steaming hot. Our table had the coconut shrimp which was good. One order of shrimp pasta. Huge plate and was good but a little sweet. This trend seemed to continue as the crab cakes were very sweet and honestly tasted like imitation crab was mixed in there. The stuffed flounder was stuffed with crab and also very sweet and tasted like imitation crab. I'm no expert but that's the flavor we all determined the crab dishes tasted like. The crab pot was the winner though. It was on special. Generous pot full of crab legs, shrimp, mussels, corn and potatoes. Not spicy. Lots of liquid in pot and potatoes a little mushy. Appetizers and soups served quickly. Salads served before soups. Salad dressings on the side. French bread served was fresh. All in all an ok experience. We noticed there is a dance floor and musicians. Nice outdoor area with umbrellas. Dogs ok outside.

The food is amazing! Friday fish fries stared in Wisconsin and that's where I'm from and it's nice to see a little something from home. The ahi is great and their bartender has a great sense of humor! Love the staff and the entertainment they have

My review is for breakfast only - From the outside, you would never guess it served breakfast. It looks like a nice dinner place with a lounge. However, I went witha group of ladies one morning and was pleased to find a charming breakfast menu with all the old standbies and some fun, exciting things, too, like seafood crepes. The portions were very nice, but the food was hit and miss. some things were perfect, like the large tender steak that was the main portion of my steak and eggs, but the grits tasted like they were cooked last week, and were crusty and hard - worst grits I've ever been offered ina restaurant. The other ladies I was with enjoyed their omelets and french toast very much, but the hansbrowns were panned. The ambiance of the establishment is very nice, and the server was great, but the cook needs to get his act together.

My significant other and I went to see our favorite band -- Bandanna. Since they served food, we decided on a 7pm dinner reservation. The wait staff was, initially, very responsive and took our wine order and dinner order promptly. The wine was delivered in a bottle with the cork pulled and 2 white wine glasses (for Cabernet). Nothing was poured, no tasting. I ordered soft shell crab (2 of them unfortunately). I should have been suspicious when the sides presented were baked potato, french fries or rice. The crab came -- it was "heavily" fried not lightly fried like I am used to. Could have been chicken for all I could taste. I asked for some remoulade sauce and the server didn't understand what I meant. I was given some spicy red stuff which was terrible. I ended up using the remainder of my blue cheese dressing. My partner had seafood wrapped in filo dough. It was OK and the sauce was OK. We asked for water 3 times before receiving. The dance floor held about 16 people comfortably. 20 were elbow to elbow and uncomfortable. For $60 plus tip, I expected much more.

The Ahi is excellent. Very friendly staff. Sometimes the service is a bit slow or I'd give 5 stars. It's close by so my wife and I go pretty often.

It's so unusual for Englewood to have a place with great food and fabulous entertainment! I loved it!
