If you want some tasty breakfast food at a good price with friendly and professional service, stop into the Waffle House in Ellenton Florida. After a night of concert going in St. Petersburg we found comfort in the courteous staff and the tasty food at the Waffle House. We didn't have to wait to be seated. The staff recommend cost concise option on the menu. They anticipated our every need. They offered us refills on our coffee and the option to take it to go. See our pics taken by the Tom and Jimmy.

Honesty I had never been to a Waffle House before. They always seemed rather sketchy to me. But my in-laws, southern natives who have been living in the West insisted we go here for breakfast, so reluctantly I agreed. My husband got their hash-browns, all the way but minus chili - which I tried some of and actually liked quite a lot - I just got a waffle which was a lot better then I expected. They were very busy at 10am New Years Day so we had to wait to be seated a while but once we were seated the food was out fairly quickly. Service was very very friendly. If you are looking for a quick and very cheap meal this is the place.

Food was delicious, as always. My waiter seemed to be rushing me though, and was not very attentive. Roof was leaking onto our booth (pretty gross) and there were flys inside. If you've frequented many Waffle House's, you know that cleanliness is not their strong point. Get the All Star breakfast and get your hashbrowns smothered.

Get ur hashbrowns smothered and covered!!! And I have NEVER BEEN TO A Waffle House where my visit or food was bad. It's true, down, home old fashioned fast food with authentic service!!!

You have not live until you have been to a Waffle House. It doesn't matter what you get because it's gonna be greasy and delicious. My personal favorite is the hashbrowns smothered and covered. I also like the fact that it's open 24 hrs for those late night cravings.
