Not many places open for Sunday breakfast in Apalach, so we crossed the bridge and pulled in here because the diner outside looked kitschy and the parking lot was packed with cars. Though our waitress was friendly, the typical breakfast fare was subpar. My eggs were rubbery, the bacon was cold, and I had to drench my biscuit in a side of gravy to hide its density. My husband's toast, when it came out, was burnt and his "home fries" tasted like they were dumped out of an OreIda bag- no seasoning, onions or peppers added. We came in at 10:30am, so maybe they were trying to closedown breakfast- but there is no excuse for screwing up a scrambled egg. We won't be back to see if lunch is any better.

Didn't get a chance to even try it . Went for milkshakes. Waitress was standing in middle of restaurant on her phone and told us to take a seat . Then another one came over to bring Menus . When I told her we needed milk shake menus she told us they were waiting on the truck to bring the milkshakes . The sign says homemade milk shakes so not sure what they were waiting on but we probably won't go back to see

Stoped in,starving around 12 noonish. Didnt look busy. Ordered food, not sure if this is normal time but took about 45-50 min to get food. Ordered the juicy loosy, burger was actually really good and juicy. Onion rings were quite good. What wasnt so good??? Apparently one of the cooks baby mama had a screeching child who ran rampant the entire meal, screaming like a banshee while mom completely ignored him. Not sure why management allowed this,as eveyone else in restaurant looked extremely annoyed as well. Was even allowed in kitchen area. Food was actually good. The migraine...not so much. Wont be back.

Really good place! Was craving a big old beach burger and milkshake! After hours kayaking and fishing, my boys and I decided to give Bayou Burger a try. Did not disappoint, the ladies here are so nice and made us feel very welcome. My oldest (14) had the Tate's Hell burger (1lb) and devoured it. The shakes are excellent and the rest of the menu looked good! My wife had the grilled shrimp salad ( to go order) and liked it! We will drop in here again!

We came for breakfast on a Wednesday. We'd been here a few days and this was the best breakfast we've had since we got here. We're staying in St. George and it's definitely worth the trip over the bridge. I got the Hot Mess - eggs, hash browns, onions, choice of meat, cheese and a biscuit. Yum! Don't listen to that other review about the dense biscuit, the biscuit was awesome! Fluffy, warm n soft, while still being very biscuity. We will be coming back to try the burgers!

My husband and I have eaten here several times and always had hamburgers. They are huge and really good. So are the onion rings. Service is friendly.

To be fair, the breakfast and the burgers are usually pretty awesome. It depends on if they have a decent cook. I love to order the Loco Burger, but sometimes when I order it, it looks nothing like it should (lacking the right amount of salsa, etc). But the reason I'm giving it no more than 2 stars, is because my husband loves oysters and 9 times out of 10, they're just not good--even though many other places have great oysters. If you're looking for seafood, just say no, but if you're looking for a good burger, it's a good place to go, but at your risk.

Handled a party of 9 with two kids no problem. Everyone had something different and complimented on how good their meals were. It was certainly no small portion for each order. It sounds like the best food was the fried or grilled grouper and shrimp. But the burgers were awesome - I enjoyed the Tate's 'lil Hellion. You can choose from multiple sides which includes tots, sweet potato fries and onion rings

I was highly disappointed with my experience here. For a resteraunt that prides itself in burgers, I was not impressed. First five minutes in the door she informed us she was out of at least 6 items on the menu. Onion rings, tater tots, etc. Then I ordered my blue cheese burger. The menu stated blue cheese crumbles on a burger with "fixins". My Burger was served with literal blue cheese dressing on the bottom bun. Completely soaked through. Like that was the norm. Then when I asked the server about it, she said "oh, we must be out." So I sat there for 14 some odd minutes waiting on my replacement burger. That was served with under cooked fries. Horrible service, mediocre food.

Very local oriented. The menu had a good number of items on it. I got a burger that was "alright," but "good" nonetheless. The fish was the star though. They served fresh grouper caught the day before.

My husband and his best pal Joey like to take weekend motorcycle rides, usually to lunch destinations. On this sunny summer Sunday, they managed to talk their wives into joining them. We set out a little before noon and headed for the coast. The guys had a burger joint in Eastpoint in mind. After a beautiful ride from Crawfordville along the two lane scenic coastal highway 98, we arrived at Bayside Burgers in Eastpoint. Eastpoint, like so many of the little towns along the Forgotten Coast, has weathered the storms - literally and figuratively - to survive. Battered by storm surge when Hurricane Dennis brought in a ten foot wave with insult added to injury a few years later in the aftermath of the Gulf "Deepwater Horizon" oil spill, Eastpoint is a town on the mend. On this gorgeous July Sunday, fluffy white clouds dotted the deep blue sky and sunlight sparkled off the back bay waters while area businesses bustled with patrons. All that amazing coastal eye candy aside, we were hungry bikers in search of a good burger. Bayside Burgers did not disappoint us. The women ordered the Cowboy Burger. We agreed not to think of the calories or fat content in this beefy flavor bomb. Silently singing Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" lyrics in my head, I went in for the first bite. The Cowboy Burger is a generous beef patty topped with fried onion strings, bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, and several strips of crispy bacon. I wish I had taken a photo of this beefy deliciousness but really I was too focused on getting it into my tummy. The burger did not disappoint. Yum! We gave our spouses credit for the solid lunch location choice and mounted our steel horses for the ride back.
