Just opened, small restaurant, owner operated. Delicious middle eastern food. Had the chicken shawarma, garlic sauce was perfect. Also, had a Greek salad, fresh, good size. Think everyone can find something on menu to eat and love.

Yum!! If you like Persian or Mediterranean food, you will love this place! They put Pita's Republic to shame with fresh made pitas and full menu! I had the Kafta Kebab and Baba Ganouj and it was the smokiest, most delicious baba g I have ever tasted!! My hubby tried it and said it reminded him of bacon. He had the beef shawarma and it was amazeballs! (I had to test it, of course) Wish we had tried this place sooner. :)

First time to a Mr. Pita's and I'm very happy I found em! I'm from Chicago and I'm never able to find good Mediterranean food in Florida. I just had the gyro and it was very fresh and delicious. The service was polite and precise, dining room clean and restroom spotless. Will be back next time I'm I'm area.

My husband and I recently ordered take out from Mr.Pita's for dinner. We had an appointment nearby and wanted to try this place since it was new to Dunedin. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and onion rings. Both were great. The chicken was so tender and tasty. It was such a big wrap I could only finish half. The onion rings had a light but crispy batter and were cooked just right. My husband ordered the Gyro platter. His gyro was packed with lamb and beef. He said it was also really good. We will definitely be back to try out more items on the menu!

Delcos have nothing on this cheesesteak! Awesome rolls great meat! Hard to find good cheesesteaks around. Also had a gyro, it was very very good. This will be a favorite place for a quick meal from now on. Another great privately owned mom and pop type place in Dunedin. I will update on other items after I get my fill of gyros and cheesesteaks!

I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of Mr. Pita's, it is within walking distance to my house, so a great lunch choice for me. Assuming the menu would be Middle Eastern we still didn't really know what to expect. I was happy to see Falafel on the menu and the salads sound great also. Husband ordered the Chicken Shawarma. We were both happy with the thin pita they use, my favorite and looked like the same brand I use at home. The staff/owners (I assume) were friendly. The falafel was good and very crispy, I loved the pickled radish in it - added a great crunch. The portions were large and filling. We walked home and immediately slipped into a food coma. I can't wait to try a salad on the next visit, and there will be a next.

guy that waited on me super friendly. I am from meat and potatoes MN and not yet acclimated to all different types of fare FL offers so I thought it would be just plain tuna etc pita's. I went with it tho and did the chicken shawarma with garlic sauce hot pressed..very good. they do have other munchies and apps and other fare available too which i'd like to try since im not yet 100% on board with the greek med thing but that's ok..i'd say give it a whirl.

Mr Pita makes real authentic Lebanese food. Wow, what a find in Dunedin Fl. I ordered a falafel which was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and try their schwarma and kofta kebob and don't forget some baklava for desert

Went here for a quick lunch today while running errands. We had the Greek Salad and the Chicken Philly. The salad was fine, a little small, and the chicken philly was a little bland. The chicken was freshly grilled though and very tender. I will be back to try more.

Too bad this location closed down. I really wanted to give this place a shot. I'm not sure if they moved to a different location or what. As of now, they made this location into a Seminole gyros.

I went there for lunch and had the falafel sandwich. It was really good and so big I could not finish it. Everything was extremely fresh. This is going to become a new regular place for me to eat. The owner waited on me and was very friendly. I will defiantly be going back!!!

I liked the Falafel and everything in it.. the hummus, parsley, tomato and radish, but it could have been a tad more moist. Was it the falafel? Was it that they didn't add enough hummus or tahini sauce? I don't know. I do know that it hit the spot, I will return for a fix. I just found it on Yelp, and it's a bit closer to home than Mana Mana who I love, and makes homemade Falafel Israeli style which again, I loooove! These owners are from Lebanon totally different style falafel. I should have asked if they make their Falafel there too, but I didn't think about it. The owner was very nice, and the place is very clean and comfortable inside. Interested in trying more
