The Knife Steakhouse Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I'm currently having trouble determining steakhouses from regular restaurants. Still, I always expect superb food from restaurants that specialize in meat. I remember going to for the first time to Texas de Brazil around two years ago, and I had a fabulous time there. Well, it was my first time at The Knife a few weeks ago. How does it compare to Texas de Brazil? It's not as high-class, but I am happy to say that the restaurant still exceeded my expectations. My brother, Dad, Francesse and I went here in the afternoon on Good Friday. We were able to get a table within seconds of coming in. Our waiter Sandra was very courteous, but unlike other restaurants I've been to, she also walked us through how eating at the restaurant works! How convenient! Basically, she told us that we can eat any of the foods served as much as we want. The only times the waiters are needed are to clear the table of plates, bring drinks and side dishes, and bring the bill at the end. I love the interior design: the setup is well-organized, and there's even a stylish yet old-fashioned bar in the back. Working sort of like a buffet, this restaurant gives tons of options, yet it works in a way in favor of the customers. The only menu customers have is a drink menu: there are both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I chose the non-alcoholic Afterglow - a sweet, tangy blend of orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine. For an extra $3, I also ordered the drink in a very stylish souvenir glass. I love how artful my drink turned out, and they even put fruit on top! Funny how they made it look like I was drinking an alcoholic drink when I am not. The glass is a nice keepsake, but I recommend buying one only when you like the restaurant after eating here several times. Better yet, if you're not the drink mixing or preparing-type of person at home, then the souvenir glass may not be for you. Some of the sides served include mashed potatoes and fries. I chose the sweet potato fries. I guess they want to keep these sides separate so that customers can order them depending on how much they can eat. The Knife also has a huge salad bar with so many ingredients to include in your salad! Other sides are served at the salad bar, such as potato salad, pumpkin soup, mixed veggies, and spinach quiche. I didn't understand why the quiche was served cold, though. Isn't quiche supposed to be warm? The meat served in the kitchen in the back is certainly worth coming to The Knife for. The scent of the freshly cooked meats tickled my taste buds! I wish I could try every type of meat they were serving, not to mention they also serve vegetables back there! From what I saw, all the kitchen meats and vegetables are grilled. To me, it's good because grilling means less fat and oil. Unfortunately, I could only try a few of the meats since I was starting to feel a little full. I had a sausage, medium well churrasco, and a piece of pork topped with a cherry and pineapple slice. Mmm, I loved every single food I had over there! Except for the cold quiche. Dessert is also served, but we could not eat anymore to order any dessert. I loved my time at The Knife. One day soon, I hope to come back for seconds! And this time, I'm setting my sights on more of the meat and veggies back there!

I didn't read the reviews before to go to this restaurant so I went and didn't have a nice experience. I was with my niece and she said after she eat that she will never return at this restaurant and I said to her I didn't see the review that was why sorry. Who knows a good beef will know what this restaurant hasn't offer a good quality. We pay after 4pm $ 44.00 for 2 + tax + tip 20% = $ 57.00. Was the worse experience. Salad is okay but when you go to the balcony to get the all kind of beef it has a big line and takes so much time to get what you want and they are not so friendly and almost ignore you. All I eat there just was one beef I like that was with bone but was fat I did my best to eat. My niece didn't want. One big piece was with bone and was with so much fat that was disgusting I couldn't eat just when I opened wasn't a nice look. The quality of the beef was cheap and was hard to cut and hard to eat that I couldn't finish. So not a good experience. The end we got the chocolate lava and I needed to pay $ 2.00 extra that was jus ridiculous the waitress didn't say anything that we need to pay the extra. It was not a big deal but she just should mentioned. The waitress never come back and when she came never look for us just pretending not to see. The end we need the bill and she never was there. So I needed to pay at he cashier. Looks good at outside but inside was not a good experience. I should get a hamburger and I was okay.

This place has gone straight downhill over the years. Not sure if my palate has changed or the meat quality has been changed to a different grade but something is definitely off about this place. According to most reviews on here its probably not my palate. While I was there I realize they've been limiting quite possibly the only cut of meat worth eating which is the filet mignon to one per person. I'm a true lover of the grill and know good meat when I taste it but either they change their meat source or I don't see them sticking around for much longer. The're many more options with this rodizio style service that makes it so much harder for this place to stay afloat.

Not great at all. The new rules about how many of each steak you get stinks. The service is so so at best. They have much more competition and aren't keeping up.

What a dissapinting with the fast food side of this restaurant. I order ribs and they we raw, the rise hard and no salt and the worst part was the service, i was specting something a lot better from this place. It is better to spend less and eat in one of the other place of the food court at least you know what to spect.

This place was a disappointment. The waiter Guillermo was very helpful...other than that, the quality of the meat was not worth the price of admission. The cold salad buffet was decent at best. The sirloin and churasco were rich in fat. The sausage was decent. The chicken looked dry so I stayed away from it. The grille "masters" were rude and very condescending. The house wine is mediocre and the draft beer was flat. Overall, I'm sad to say I will not be returning to this restaurant. Not a satisfying experience.

We got here at 6:30... It's 10:14 and we are still waiting for dessert. Our steak we ordered was overcooked, and our water was only filled once. This place blows. Take your money somewhere else.

I was actually pressed with the service at this location . I use to go to the express part in the food court but the actual restaurant in this location never . I was impress with the service .maybe we got a great server . We went today January the first which was crazy everywhere and we were a big group with kids not So calm lol . I wish I knew the servers name to give it some props (skinny ,fair skin , with dark circles under his eyes:/ ) thanks for a great service and being so patient .

The food its good, bad the service its very slowly when you go to bring meat, the salad bar its fine and the location its perfect to all, good parking area

Nothing really special about this restaurant except the Filet Migon. My god that thing was delicious. There is a reason why you have to order it from the waiter instead from the buffet cooks. I ordered the Sangria and it was okay and the bread was whatever. A bit pricey for OK food.

Let me say that this restaurants quality has spiraled down from previous visits. Now, they no longer offer filet mignon at all. They have substituted it with a New York strip which was tasteless and chewy. The variety of meats is not as it used to be. The service staff is not as attentive. I honestly rather go to another all you can eat steakhouse such as Area 55.

    (2)
  • Carlos F.

1st time to the knife. Great meat selection, it's an Argentinian steak house. They have a nice salad bar, and I had an excellent pumpkin soup, very tasty. If you come with another person they actually include complementary house wine.

Came here for lunch and was about $18 per person which I think is a pretty good price. They had a pretty good variety in the salad and meat station. The churrasco was very good and the chicken with honey mustard was ok. Not sure if I would pay the dinner price but it was fair for lunch.

This location is just bad I dont go there anymore the staff is in need of training and they take forever .But the one on bayside its totally different the complete opposite to this other one

It could be worse, but I won't be coming back here. The waiter takes for ever!! So I am taking advantage of the time he takes writing this review. Food was OK, the meat sits on the grill for too long, there is a terrible line to get to the grill... We asked the waiter for a bife de chorizo, and he took soooo long that we were fu by the time he can back. He never even offered to refill our drinks... So... Salad bar 6/10... Meat 5/10... Service 3/10... Hostess 7/10... Deserts 7/10... Waiting time to be seated 9/10...

I took some friends there to celebrate a birthday. Food is great, service is just okay. Wine that comes with food...not so good. Atmosphere is maybe too serious for my taste. This place needs to cheer up a little.

  • Michelle Orchid R.

I wasn't impressed. The quality of the food at the buffet was mediocre. The only food items that seems appetizing was the meat but even then, the quality of the meat could have been better given that the restaurant is a steakhouse. Cost was $31/person and $14/child. The service wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The servers seemed friendly enough but overwhelmed. One perk is that for the month of November, your child can eat free as long as they are under 4 ft. (Which they have a measuring post at the door).

  • Claire O.

If you're just going to walk in and have dinner I think this place is pretty OK for a buffet. Don't expect anything special. If you're trying to organize a group, it's a nightmare if you don't speak Spanish and still quite an ordeal if you do.

  • Kallee D.

I love this place! I come here with my boyfriend a couple times a month; the food is always delicious and we've never had a long wait. The staff is professional and friendly. Try the hummus on top of your churrasco, and the chocolate mousse for desert! We've brought our friends and everyone has loved it just as much as we do. Highly recommend!

  • Arabelly A.

I did not enjoy this place at all! I tried a little of everything and I didn't like anything except for the fries and the skirt steak (after we asked for a fresh steak and salted it). Everything was bland or tasted weird. The mashed potatoes were clearly the instant mashed potatoes from the box. On top of the awful food, the staff was a little inconsiderate, when I had two plates in my hand trying to serve myself and my son they got in our way to put linen away in the cabinet below the buffet (twice). Our server took so long to get us our check and we were seated right next to where the employees were hanging out, having loud conversations. When we got our bill, it was so expensive for awful food and service. I really wish we would've walked a little further into the food court where we would've gotten tasty food for much less!

An all you can eat buffet for dinner will cost each person $30.00, which included a complementary bottle of their house red wine. Don't get excited...it was awful!! Their buffet includes, different cuts of steak, chicken, fish and grilled vegetables. Additionally, you have full access to the salad bar and one dessert per person at the end. Sounds like a good deal? Yes, but the operative word being "sounds"! The reason I gave them only 1 star was because not only was the meat over cooked, but was EXTREMELY SALTY. The food was extremely overpriced, taking into account that the food was of horrible quality! Also, the service was very slow and the staff was unfriendly. If you're thinking of trying this place...don't! Head over to your nearest Publix, purchase the same amount of product you would have paid for it here, marinate it & whip it up on the grill! I guarantee it will taste ten times better, if not more!!

first thing I would say the host at the front door. Is so lazy she doesn't sat us down. She just point us to our table. If you don't feel like working and be a host. Then you should retired or stay home. The meat at this place is ok. Not so great. The steak is good but the chicken and potatoes so dry feel like they had this food from the night before. It's a good deal for lunch. Which is about 17.95 per person before 4pm. It comes with a bottle of wine. It's a house wine. So don't think it all fancy now. This Resturant was really good a couple years back. I don't know what happened to it now. It's a shame.

This place is great. Awesome service all around. Each and every employee was extremely tentative to us. They have really really good filet minion but you have to order it at the table for no extra cost. All in all GREAT service good food.

The food is great here. The servers are on the most part very friendly. The hostesses do seem to lack common safety sense. She brought our baby a high chair with a broken belt and left it for our 1 year old. Never offering to help or checking the chair. I brought this to the attention of Pablo the manager and he seemed ok with it until I said I would make this post because the high chairs seem to always have the belts broken and that's a huge liability issue. Hope this is fixed soon and always checked as toddlers are potential victims of great harm.

Wow, this place is terrible. I've been to the knife before about twice, and I was never a fan, but I couldn't say it was bad. I always thought it was at best "ok", not the place to go back to by choice, but if i happened to be with a group I wouldn't oppose...This last time I was there will be my very last time EVER. Our server, Nico, was very nice. That's about the only positive thing i'm gonna say here. The person that was serving the meat wasn't very friendly, he spoke in a very soft voice when asking any question to me and his attitude just seemed like he didn't want to give away the meat....(?) that's kind of weird, we' were there for the meat, and all he gives away is a little piece and then gives you a face if you ask for more..i don't get it. I really felt like not going back for more meat. Lets not even mention the huge line! And when you finally make it to the meat, guess what? all the good cuts are gone! great! When i finally got a couple of pieces of meat and my grilled pepper with cheese, I was pretty happy, the problem is that the meat and veggies were kind of cold...they were not cold, cold, but considering they're sitting on the grill until you go get them, they should be a pretty decent temperature! Well, not even close, that was a real disappointment. The overall taste of the meat was ok, whatever I decided, "I came here to eat! I'm gonna try the salad station" WELL. I'm not really as picky as this review makes it seem, it was just bad. I can't say everything is bad, but of everything I put on my plate I ended up not liking anything. That's weird because i wasn't expecting much so I was rather surprisingly disappointed once again! Ok at this point i'm done eating, I asked the 2 people that were with me what they thought of the food and they all kind of agreed on more or less the same that I was experiencing, so all in all we all left feeling like it was just not worth it to have gone to this restaurant in the first place. On our way out I saw a family of 8 waiting to be seated.....i don't understand. Next time I'll stick to Siga La Vaca in Coral Gables, a tiny bit pricier but way worth the money. $28.50 for this place is really not worth it.

Food is ok, the service is terrible!!, the staff that works here is absolutely the WORST! they do not understand the concept of customer service or the basics of how to interact with another human being, management encourages this as they are just as bad. Not worth the wait in line.

If you want to find a crunchy COCKROACH in your plate mixed with the steak and vegetables this is the place to go..... needless to say I had a horrible time at this place and would never go there again. OH, I FORGOT TO MENTION I DIDNT GET AN APOLOGY OR ANYTHING IN RETURN FROM THE MANAGER OR OWNER OF THER PLACE... Si quieren comer CUCARACHA les recomiendo este lugar ;) se veia bien crujiente la cucaracha en el plato.. lastima que no la probe. Ni disculpa me ofrecieron...

The Knife Restaurant located in International Mall has a lot of great meat and it does not break the bank. Unfortunately, it does have one thing that needs to be addressed. If you are unfamiliar with the concept here is a brief summary. It is an all you can eat setup where really hot coals from an oven are used to grill a variety of meats and some veggies. The meats are fresh tasting and have that beautiful smoky flavor. The sausages are varied and suit all palates. The salad bar has always left me wanting for more diverse food choices. The sides are ok nothing to really focus on. I like the fact that you get a soda/beer or bottle of wine with dinner I think it's a great value. My issue with the place is the tip cup. The "grill masters" are very conscious of how much you give and don't give. I usually have issues with tip cups in the first place but I digress, the grill guys get stingy really quickly if you don't share the wealth. My issue with this system is: What are you doing other than your job that the restaurant is paying you for that deserves to be tipped? They are surely not working for free and I am sure your job description has "distribute meat to the customers" listed. Why do I have to pay you extra to do a job you are already being paid for? What additional service or assistance are you offering the customer that merits a tip? If I were the manager I would reconsider this system because it's obviously biased towards customers that consider tipping for good service. Tip cups should be banned in places like this because it pressures customers to tip people for doing nothing more than what they are paid to do.

This place is not my cup of tea. I think you will either hate it or love it. It's $29.95 for dinner. Dinner includes a bottle of wine (yes, a whole bottle), or 2 beers, or unlimited sodas. It's hard for me to write this review because had I gone on a Saturday night, with the intentions of getting drunk and socializing with friends, I would've enjoyed it. Instead, i went on a Wednesday night with my parents and I had no desire to get intoxicated. I think their salad bar is just horrendous. The veggies are canned/frozen vegetable type. The meats are pretty nice. You get a good selection of sausage, grilled veggies, overcooked salmon, and odd cuts of meats here and there. Every meal comes with a dessert at the end of the meal. The dessert is horrible. It's not good at all. I find better dessert in the frozen section of Publix (mrs, edward's key lime pie!!!*****) This place is good for people who want to go out with friends, get really drunk on wine (no more than a bottle/person), and be surrounded by mediocre food all included in 1 price. For me, I'd rather go to El Rincon, get a parrillada, enjoy a glass of wine, and have leftovers I can enjoy the next day.

The service was awfully slow. We were sitting for 15 minutes before ordering drinks. The meat was loaded with fat, they served the fish undercooked, the pork is as hard as rocks ALWAYS, and unfriendly grill workers. When the receipt came "the computer glitched", I think someone was trying to get a big tip and steal. I'll post a photo of the ridiculous receipt. I called management the following day to address the receipt issue and got hung up on. Terrible establishment!

I like this place. I would always go on a Thursday or Friday afternoon around noon. I was always amazed how packed it would get by the time 3 o'clock would roll around. Very busy. When going to a churrascaria you have to be choosy in the meats you select. Some may be dry and well done while other meats are cooked to your liking. I always ask the grill guy "what looks good". He always steers me in the right direction. I have always found all the steaks to be at medium in temperature. Sausage is good and tasty. I also like when they have some exotic meats that I would not normally try. I like the value for lunch, $15 without wine and $18 with wine. Excellent value. Dinner is more but not by much. I know there are other more upscale churrascaria, but when you put dollars and cents together The Knife does the job. A good job. I don't miss Miami but I do miss The Knife..... A New Yorker who knows his steaks.......

Has got to be one of the worse restaurants period...price for what you get is highway robbery. You basically have to fetch your own food back and forth, and to add insult to injury you have to tip the waiter/waitress for just bringing you bread and utensils...

  • Luvenia V.

This place is completely over PRICED!!! The food is not even quality food. Service is terrible and they include the cheapest wine with your meal.. How can this be? My server was in another planet; every time I would order something she would bring something else!!! It was just very bad service.. Took long to serve us and when she did it was BAD!!! Help please they need HELP!

Been here twice, first time was not as enjoyable as the second. the food is good. It does not fully compare to Texas de Brazil right across the street at Dolphin, but the knife is much cheaper. I ordered the filet mignon (which needs specially ordered by the waiter) and it was really good but small (only get one piece). Aside from that all the other meat is all you can eat. I went with a group of 12 so there was plenty of wine to go around, I had the two free cups of beer (also very small). Overall I feel like The Knife is a good alternative to Texas de Brazil especially if you feel like saving money.

A friend of mine was at Intenational mall and saw this restaurant. He suggested we check it out that night. Nice looking place. Good service. The problem was the food: not the best cuts of meat. Their preperation left a lot to be desired the meat was way under cooked or over cooked but no in between. The salad bar was limited. There are way better options in this town. Example: Texas of Brazil

Went there for Valentines day with my husband and another couple and we ALL thought the same thing! The meat was tough and the service... TERRIBLE! Never again!!!!

  • Jacki F.

In a word...yucky!! "Salad bar" leaves much to be desired...frozen veggies galore. Meat was fatty, tough, and under-cooked...explain that one to me. By the time we got around to dessert I had no appetite left, not that the desserts were that good anyways. Not worth the price...I should have listened to the other reviews and spent a little more for Texas de Brazil.

Best thing I can say was our server was good. Salad bar selection was limited. The meat was either undercooked or over cooked. Everything lacked flavor. Will not be going back.

Not what people claimed it to be. It had the symptoms of being awesome but it failed. All you can eat steak, but it was dried out, fatty, and the butcher must had been stoned because it wasn't easy to chew at all. the people were nice even if their simple mash potato had no flavor what so ever, but I did enjoy the chocolate mousse.

I love animals.... grilled to perfection. This place is good for a big weekend lunch when you know you can go home for the rest of the day and nap like a kodiak bear. If you're a picky meat eater (aka - don't like fatty cuts, etc) you may want to cough up some extra money and go to Texas de Brazil or another place. But if not, then you'll dig this place. Their house wines are decent and really help the digestion so I'd recommend going that route rather than the alternative of a coke/beer. For $20 a person it's really a great deal.

**3.5 stars** A better-than-average all-you-can-eat Argentinian barbecue restaurant in Miami International Mall. For a $30 dinner you can get access to grill selections and the salad bar. Included beverage includes your selection of a bottle of wine, two beers or a soft drink, and dessert is also included at the end. A great place to get in touch with your inner carnivore at a reasonable price. Some of the cuts were on the tough or bland side, but there were some cuts that were spectacular. My favorites were the flank steak and the filet mignon. The filet is made to order but you have to be on top of the grill masters to make sure they actually make your steaks. They were true to their Argentinian roots where they have a whole lamb skewered on a crucifix-like spear to be roasted over coals. Great idea but a shame it sat around long enough to dry out by the time I got to try a piece. I've had spectacular cuts of meat for these type places, but they're usually too rich for my blood. This won't burn too big a hole in your wallet so this definitely is on top of my list for gorging on meat.

Argentinian style steak buffet. You can't beat the prices here - price for value is excellent, yet.... l am not IN LOVE with the choices of cuts here. I must say, some of them are pretty fatty, and l like my meat lean. The pros - GREAT value at lunchtime, you can eat all you want, they have a great salad bar, this is all buffet style so they have the guys cooking the meat and you point to what you want then go get salad or fillers. The cons - l found the meat to be nowhere near the quality of Texas De Brazil, not even close. PLUS we went with our twig of a daughter who gets full after two bites. She had eaten already and we asked if she could just order a side but they didn't let us and made us pay for a whole meal deal... she ate two bites of a salad and was done. So her meal was nonexistent, yet we paid the full price for it. They need to have more options for non meat eaters.. there is no salad bar only option. Some might think that the terrible translation to English on the website cute, l think its non professional and sloppy. All in all, my stomach was NOT happy that night and l was pretty ill after eating the greasy meal. This is me, AKA "Stomach of Steel" - I never get queasy on any kind of food, and here I did. l didn't love the place, but l know many who do, so there must be something to it. Me? l don't think I will be back.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS This place does not deserve one star. FOOD - We tried several different meats and they were all dry with thick layers of fat. Every piece of meat was so unbearable both me and my boyfriend left the most our plates untouched. We then tried switching to chicken and we were presented with unseasoned, rubbery fat. I'm not ever sure you can call when they serve meat. DRINK - We were served HOT BEER and after complaining we were told that all their beer was in fact hot and offered to bring us ice cubes... SERVICE - When arriving we asked the host to be seated at a booth and were automatically denied even though we they had empty ones. AFTER WE WERE SEATED WE WENT TO THE GRILL TO GET OUR FOOD AND WHEN WE CAME BACK THE STAFF HAD MOVED OUR STUFF TO A DIFFERENT TABLE WITHOUT ASKING US!!!!! We had three different waiters throughout the night and were attended every 30 minutes or so. When the staff did decide to acknowledge us they were rude and unprofessional . SANITARY - After FINDING HAIR ON OUR FOOD we noticed the servers at the grill had long hair and were not wearing proper attire. The bathrooms were dirty and two out of three stalls were out of toilet paper. The whole experience was so ridiculous from every angle that we felt like we were being pushed to lose it on candid camera. Regardless, we paid for our meal and went home on a hungry tummy.

For 16$ an all you can eat Meat buffet. the best cow ribs anywhere how can you say no Everything inside is as culturally replicated as possible, from the beautiful argentinian women with their uniforms. the cooks are authentic argentinian gaucho's cooking the best meat ever.

This place is awful! The meat was overcooked (to the point of crumbling) and the service was very rude. Next time it's Texas de Brasil...with a baby on the way this was all I could afford for my dad's Birthday. Someday I will be able to look him in the eye again. When we left the establishment we were eyeballed by the people at the cash register but never thanked or wished a good evening. We waited 10 minutes just to place a desert order and 15 for the order to be filled. We sat near the pickup window and we WITNESSED WAITERS CONSOLIDATING BREAD FROM OTHER TABLES INTO NEW BASKETS AND SERVING THEM (NEED I REPEAT THAT). I was totally grossed out and didn't even ask for coffee. At one point earlier in the night the waitress tried to make amends by offering to bring us filet mignon fresh from the grill. We accepted and were rewarded by what was either an insult or the result of a complete IDIOT at the grill. My 8 year-old God Son grills better the witless moron that was on the grill that night (I SWEAR IT). The steaks crumbled and tore apart like jerky - it seemed to be a demand for us to leave but we were trying to keep things pleasant in light of my Dad's 80th birthday so it was not in response to anything we did or said. Save yourself the regret and head to Texas de Brasil. We always get better service at Brazilian steakhouses anyways. It's and extra $20, but at least you won't be running to your computer to post warnings on every restaurant site you know.

I have been told about this place for years. The reason i chose this place was simply because of yhe price. I wanted to take my wife out (meat lover) to Texas de Brazil; however after reasearching, i found it to be double the price. I finally went there 3 weeks ago and fell in love. The service was great, but even better was the food. The first time I walked up to the grill station and saw pounds and pounds of succulent beef grilling to perfection, I knew that I had arrived to red beef nirvana. The station had Churrasco, Falda, Sirloin, Strip, Round, Fish, several types of Chicken, Beef Shortrib, Pork Sparerib, Lamb, Three types of Sausage, Vegetables & cook to order Filet Mignon. I asked the Chef to give me a sampling of each. I immediately fell in love with three types: the Churrasco, Falda and Chorizo (sausage). Cooked to perfection, flavorful, amazing. Not to be left aside, they have a full salad bar and cold salad section. Included are cheeses, meats, potato, corn, tomato salads, etc. My favorite item is a Yule log of sorts that is filled with this sweet ham spread. For Spanish people, this is called bocadito spread. So Good!!! Also included with the meal is the choice of all you can drink softdrinks, two beers or an entire bottle of wine. One thing not advertised is that you can order rice, french fries or mashed potatoes. Just ask the waitress. This is included in the price. The reason I give this review 4 stars instead of 5 is because the desserts. I have tried several of them and the only one that blew me away was the Dulce de leche crepe. All others are mediocre. Try this place, especially if you are a carniverous prehistoric cow eating caveman as myself. You will enjoy!!

The service was ok. The wine is not bad. The food is mediocre. The stuffed pork was good. The deserts are horrible. The steaks are ok. Not sure of coming here again. For $30 for all you can eat dinner you really can't expect too much. Enjoy.

Just good old basic Argentinian Steakhouse - the ratio of value to quality and quantity is pretty good. It is actually in International Mall in Doral - For one price (varies for Lunch and Dinner) you will get all you can eat Argentinian Asado, salad and a bottle of wine. If you are quite hungry and have a lot of time to spare so you can really sit and enjoy, this will be the place to go and have a good meal. Don't be shy about requesting a specific cut or ask the chefs to grill your cut for a bit longer. There are different cuts on display always on the grill so you go up and ask for what you want, you can go up to the grill as many times as you want, make sure to drop a good tip the first time up and they will be a lot friendlier on your next trips. Stay away from fillers such as bread, plantains and mashed potatoes. Stick to the meats and try out everything so you can get a good idea of what a good South American Asado is like. This review is for The Knife in International Mall, there are other restaurants from this chain and the quality varies a bit. Check my reviews on other restaurants. Cheers

WARNING: You'll be carrying large quantities of meat here, so wear your best eatin' shirt and preferably drawstring pants. DO NOT show up looking all cute in heels and a dress. You'll look, and more importantly, feel like a fool. This isn't a classy joint. Basically this is an Argentine all-you-can-eat meat buffet with salad bar, free desert, and free bottle of wine, two draft beers (your options are Bud or Bud Light -- yuck), or two glasses of soda for $19.99 per person. Great deal if you're a wino/carnivore but vegetarians should stay away. There is a salad bar, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My boyfriend and I ended up only getting tomato slices and chunks of cheese from it because everything else was, well, unappealing. This restaurant's true strength is the quality of meat. Red meat, specifically (although I've had far better elsewhere, but it's decent, except for the NY strip which was pretty overcooked ). Chicken and sausage were just "eh". And make sure to show up early. Towards the end of the night, I think they turn off the grill but keep the meat on it to keep up appearances. I wasn't too keen on this move because I ended up eating a few pieces of lukewarm meat. Now let me get to the wine. Don't get all fussy and specific about what kind you want, like Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc, because all they have here is red, white, and pink. Which is pretty much all it says on the bottle as well. If everyone at the table orders wine, they only give you one bottle to share. When that's done, they'll bring another depending on how many people are at the table. And you can't being left over bottles home with you if you don't drink them. This is very sneaky (and I have to admit, smart) on the restaurant's behalf, because if you order a bottle, then shoot up right away to gorge on meat, and *then* start drinking, you're going to get way too full way to fast and you'll barely make it through one bottle. I suggest chilling with your first bottle, catching a buzz, then getting your meat fix. The steaks aren't going anywhere, so be patient, and get your money's worth.

Very disappointed. The chicken had no flavor and the skirt steak (churrasco) tasted funny. My wife ordered Fillet Mignon but the cooks did not want to take it out. She literally had to fight for it. Once she received it she was disappointed. The salad bar has lots of selection but the taste wasn't that good. I tried other pieces of meat and they were OK. Waiters took to long to refill our drinks.
