Atmosphere is so awesome not what you would expect in Doral. So awesome to have a place like this in this area. Good parking, easily accessible. Coffee and pastries were phenomenal! Definitely see myself coming often with coworkers and friends real soon. Only con is they take a while to have coffee and food ready, but definitely worth the wait. Don't come in a hurry this isn't Starbucks. Quality of coffee and food is amazing. Place is clean and they also offer wine and specialty beer. I will definitely become a regular at this spot. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I had to wait about 10-15 minutes for two lattes and a croissant with eggs and cheese.

Awesome coffee shop! Great prices, great selections, great seating. You could go for breakfast or lunch and have options to chose from. The staff is very friendly and the food was great!

I first saw Macondo Coffee Roasters in my fuel rewards network (Shell Gasoline) and since I love coffee, I had to try it. Their food is amazing and their coffee is awesome. They have coffee drinks that I never knew existed, like the affogato which is espresso with gelato. I love their french press. The atmosphere is very casual, like you're at home and you can put your feet up. Every day they have a special baked in parchment paper, from chicken to Salmon to Tilapia. On top of the food being good, they have a friendly and helpful staff that puts it over the top for me. I just tried their french toast with berry topping and condensed milk and caramel that is to die for. The only thing left for you to do now is to go to Macondo Coffee Roasters and try it for yourself.

I was leaning on 3 stars but with all the Hispanics in the area, you would think they got their coffee down better. 1st off, I got a "1-lb" bag of Espresso roast to go. Like another place I go to for my beans, this one was much less weight that should be. To be fair, after I looked it up, the bag was supposed to be 12 ounces actually. With that said, 6.8 ounces is unacceptable. I weighed it on a home food scale which I calibrate periodically. At $13, I don't want $7.50 in beans. I can tell you though, the espresso I made with them was very, very good though. The beans were supposedly just roasted according to the girl who scooped it out of the roaster before my eyes. It is possible because the oils had not begun to come out of the beans. Or it was so old that it was past that. I don't think so however because the espresso I brewed 3-days later had a good crema. The establishment was very "busy". Not with people; it just had a lot going on clutter and theme-wise. The bar area and roasting area looked dirty/disorganized. Not roach-dirty; just like if a huge lunch rush left 5 minutes ago and they were short staffed and didn't clean up yet. Strange though because it was like 330pm, at a coffee house in the middle of Doral and at least 5 employees. None of them cleaning. They had cold brewed coffee there which I had been wanting to try. I was given a sample after I asked. Super good. I dont like cold coffee and I am wondering how weird I would be to get the cold brew and then make it hot. I say that because the cold brew had 0 acidity. It was like drinking water (smooth; not weakness). All in all, the place has good coffee, Do not leave there without asking to see their scale weight before and after they dispense because if you leave there after paying $13 for $7 worth of coffee and after reading my warning, you can only get mad at yourself.

Great gem of a coffee shop in Doral. The coffee is sourced from a farm in Columbia and roasted by Macondo. They have 3 options for cups of coffee, including a dropper and aero press, which made an excellent strong cup of coffee. They also have standard espresso drinks, cold press coffee, gelato, and a food menu. The owner was super friendly. Great music, wifi, and lots of seating. If you're a student, police, or fire you can get a discount with one of their fliers. I don't get to Doral much, but I would go here all the time if I lived closer.

Good coffee roaster. Very few of these in miami. The two others are in downtown / midtown. Really good breakfast and a nice decor. Affordable prices.

Good service although you dont get to experience it so much, it's a very do-it-yourself place. Menu is shortbut righton flavor and quality. The croissant with egg, jam and cheese is delicious but a bit greasy. Capuccino is excellent, beef empanadas as well. The mini pan de bonos..mmm..lets say it is not their expertise area. Nice place to chat and get a coffee. I will recommend to add natural juices and more variety of breakfast.

In one word: AWESOME coffee! Being Colombian and having lived in Los Angeles for 6 years I can say that I am very spoiled when it comes to coffee, but Macondo blew my expectations. I had a French press coffee the first time, and a cold brew and a Caribbean the last time. They all were delicious. My second time there, I had trouble using the WiFi and as I was leaving I expressed my discomfort to the owner because of the poor WiFi service, to which he responded resetting their connection and offering me a free drink. I had one of their teas, which was also very good. I really like also the fact that they have a board in the bathrooms for customer suggestions. You can really tell that the owners care about the customer experience and strive for excellence. Highly recommended!

Fantastic. I ordered pizza iberico. I really recommend it. Fine quality with iberico Ham and Manchego cheese. The balsamic gives a great flavor. The coffee is directed imported from Colombia and they roast it on the restaurant. Outstanding coffee. I never tried something like that. I will go back.

Macondo is located in the city of Doral by the warehouse district. This cafe is very unique in that they have a coffee grinding machine set in the middle of the cafe which adds a unique look to the place. The service is outstanding and tapas are all excellent especially the flatbread salmon. The wine selection is a fantastic selection of reds. Their coffees are also excellent especially the machoccino. This also paired with the excellent jazz player on Fridays makes this place a hidden gem.

So many options for coffee! So delicious! Hot or cold you can't go wrong. This place is awesome! They have hand brewed coffee and they walk you to the process.

Hands down the best coffee in the Doral/Kendall area. Strong, delicious and served with a smile. Highly recommend the Macondo Wrap or Cheesesteak sandwich. The owner is always there and open to friendly conversation.

Great place to relax, hang-out, study, and/or have fun. The most important factor that has me coming back to this new establishment is the great coffee that is freshly roasted and their delicious menu. Amazing place overall.

Best coffee shop I've ever been in Miami. I don't normally write reviews but I was truly impressed by this coffee shop. I walk through the door and the warehouse, vintage look of the place immediately catches my attention. The music is light rock and roll, Aerosmith and Bob Dylan. I like it already. I look at a photo on the wall and recognize the owner who is roasting coffee right there--the machines are part of the decor. I approach him and ask some questions. Next thing I know, I'm learning all these magnificent things about coffee from a true passionate expert. Mariano studied coffee in Colombia. He cares. He told me stories about where his coffee comes from (and the fruit plantations nearby!). Awesome. Lastly, I try the coffee. Out of this world. I had an Aero Press coffee, which if I understand correctly, is a hybrid between black and espresso. Mariano then showed me his cold brew and that blew my mind. That's twelve hours in the making. Prices? A lot cheaper than Starbucks! I'll be telling all my friends about this place. Thank you Mariano! Best of luck!

This kind of business is what we need at Doral. Out of the box, unconventional style and delicious in all that they have. The Caribbean cold brew is a most.
