    This is an all time favorite fast food place for lunch . The food is fresh and you can get a quick lunch for a decent price .

    To keep it short and sweet: they have good food but crappy service. The ladies that work here, always have a bad attitude. Also for a fritanga, the prices are a little high. I recommend the carne asada, gallo pinto and the breaded chicken breast.

    As long as you don't go during peak hours and you get the gallo pintos y arroz, you're golden. Can't go wrong. However, this location doesn't do delivery? Almost every other location does offer the service, and I feel jipped. Especially considering almost every time I want this I am exhausted and sweaty from the gym and it's rush hour traffic. I JUST WANT CARNE ASADA, PLEASE GET IN A CAR AND BRING IT TO ME. This is a serious blow to my entitlement.

    Excellent food and taste. Love the maduros, gallopinto, queso frito, everything is great. Pricing is perfect and it fills you up right. Only downfall is the lack of variety compared to other fritangas in Miami. Some nica enchiladas wouldn't hurt. I'll never stop coming here.

    So since my husband's family is from Nicaragua. I've tried my fair share of fritangas. And this one has the most choices I've ever seen! About 8 different meat options, lots of sides to choose from, and speedy service. HOWEVER, the food wasn't that great. It wasn't as flavorful as it looked. The only thing that was delicious, is the soup and the tajadas (green plantain chips). I will not be returning to this fritanga.

    Nicaraguan comfort food at its best. This is a no frills restaurant where you could get a meal big enough for 2 w/ some classic staples. Extras that aren't on the menu are good as well. My favorite is the carne asada w/ picante & most meals come w/ a huge serving of Gallo Pinto. Service is fast & you could watch the World Cup w/ everyone else while you're there.

    Me and my coworker come here at least once a week for lunch. We usually split an order of carne asada w/ gallo pinto, maduros, and a queso frito. It's not the BEST Nica food, but it's yummy enough to have for a quick bite. The service is alright. The women who work here have some really crappy attitudes. No matter how nice you are or how friendly you try to be, they are just not amiable employees. Regardless, we put up with it for the good food. Would be a much more pleasant experience if they were a little nicer.

    This is a follow up review as I had previously reviewed this Fritanga & given them 4 stars. I noticed that my original review doesn't appear when viewed via the app so that's why this one is so short. I am dropping a star for a sllllllow delivery. It took 1 hour & 15 minutes to arrive. Sorry, but that is just unacceptable & ruined my experience.

    I've been going to the Fontainblue one since I was like 5 years old. When they opened this one in Doral I was ecstatic. I have also been to the one in Kendall. So, I'm going to make this short and sweet, if you want delicous authentic Nicaraguan food, eat here!!!! I've tried just about everything and it is all soooo delicious! I LOVE THIS PLACE.

    NICARAGUAN Food Delicious, inexpensive and generous amounts. Nicaraguan food is similar to Mexican, but less spicy. Dishes are 8 dollars or less. They also offer great juices and Refrescos. Very good food with excellent prices.

About TGI Friday

TGI Friday is a casual dining American restaurant chain founded in 1965. The term “TGI” is an acronym for Thank God It's and together the name of the restaurant is often announced as Thank God It's Friday. Over the years of its existence, the TV commercials and other advertisement streams have also twisted the phrase a bit and used it as Thank Goodness It's Friday. The restaurant serves alcoholic beverages primarily. However, they are also known for their low-carbohydrate and low-fat menu items to promote a healthy lifestyle. TGI Friday also offers gluten-free items on its menu for those with gluten intolerance.

Besides the cool name, TGI Friday also has an interesting background story of its origin.
