We had lunch here today, and the food was wonderful. Italian, Italian, Italian. . so good. The owner greets patrons and made me feel like someone special. Margarita pizza was the best I've ever had. The stromboli is loaded with meats and cheeses. Perfect little spot for friends to gather. I will return soon.

Excellent Italian food, great service and family style servings. If you want a real NYC style Sicilian pizza this is the place. Order it well done .. Awesome!

45 minute wait for 4 slices of pizza is inexcusable. When it finally did arrive it was okay but nothing to write home about. It was a busy time and staff was working hard but orders have to be better managed.

I m new to the area and figured this place seemed like a great pizza joint. Based on reviews anyways. Disappointed to say the least. Flat out lacked flavor. We ordered an Angelina special and are sad to say we won't be eating here again. At least the staff was friendly I guess.

Angelina's is by far ONE of the BEST pizza establishments that I have had the pleasure of visiting. The service is top notch and the food is even better. The Caprese salad is by far one of my favorite appetizers and it's served up with hot, fresh, bread - which is finger licking good! I'm a huge fan of the pizzas, but, I haven't ordered one of the specialities, rather opting for building our own. But if you want to try something truly amazing, try the chocolate chip cannoli cookie (you won't be disappointed!!) The dining area is rather small but the wait staff are quickly bussing tables to get customers seated. Be prepared though if you visit during the dinner hours or late on the weekends because of the crowds.

I like Angelina's because their pizza is very good and they have Baklava! I like the way the family works together here! Makes me feel like family too!

I'm going to keep this brief. Angelina's is awesome. I'm not going to say they are the best ever, however I love the pizza here and the employees are consistently nice/accomodating. They could use a space twice the size as its rammed every time that I go there whether its on a weekend or on a Tuesday night. Definitely worth the effort to visit if you need a pizza, but call ahead if you can.

Are you serious? No one has reviewed this place yet? THis is my favorite Pizza joint in the whole world! and I have been to a lot. The place is so well decorated and the service is awesome. The Food is so good!. The sauce recipe should be patented. I sometimes order garlic knots and marinara and make a large mess on my shirt because I cant get it in my stomach fast enough! The chicken parm, Pizza, ohh I need to stop writing because I am getting so hungry thinking about it.

I had a small meeting to go to in Deland, a meeting I said I'd bring dinner to. Along comes my dining advisor, otherwise known as YELP. After looking through a few, and considering convenience of location en route, I called ahead to Angelina's. It's a small restaurant not far from the Winn Dixie. They had a bit of an early crowd going when I arrived just before 6:30. Waitresses were friendly (and there were quite a few of them for such a small place!) They have this weird system where you pay the cashier, and then she shouts the confirmation over to the pizza oven guy 5 feet away, "Pick-up for Paul", and your pizza is released - whatever works, I guess. Driving there from the pizzeria to the meeting, as the aroma of the pizzas began to imbue the interior of my rental, and then my nostrils, the meaning of self-control had to be redefined. Great was the temptation to pull over, stuff face, and miss meeting on some pretext - probably an unspecified "stomach ailment". Luckily for me and my reputation, I'm pretty good at holding my breath. Of the 2 I ordered, I didn't try the pepperoni, but the Angelina's special, laden with 6 meats and 6 veg, was pretty damn special alright. A bit of a gooey "mess', it wasn't much to look at, but man, did it taste good! A little on the greasy and salty side to be sure, but with the likes of sausage and bacon in there, is it any wonder? An added bonus was the "$3 off the second pizza" deal, no coupon needed - just enough to fund the tip, and I didn't even know about it. The 16" Angelina was $17.99, while one topping sets you back $13.24. I took a copy of their menu to check out what else there is, and I'll tell you, it's almost enough to make Angelina's a destination dining spot for us. Grouper marsala with pasta for $13.99, anyone? I'll see if I couldn't take a picture of the menu. Thank GOODNESS there was one pleasant experience out of all of last week.

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday and I was so happy I chose the chicken calzone. Lots of ricotta and he chicken had a good flavor. The atmosphere was nice. Very family owned feel and the server was attentive. I would have given it a five star review except for the fact that the plate kept moving. It had no weight behind it so I had to hold it as I cut away. Other than that I would recommend it for sure.

Very good pizza though their other items are tasty too. I've never been there when it's slow so be ready to wait for a table. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Food is consistenly good.

Had another good meal as a take out. Started out bad when I arrived they had the pizza's ready, but they realized they accidental gave my wing order to another patron. The pizza Chef was cool about it and had the staff rush my order - he also comped a beer for me while I waited. I do wish they wouldn't use screens to bake the pizza on - should go right in the oven off the pizza paddle. Oh well, still one of the best we have in W. Volusia.

This was great pizza. I would say well above average. Their garlic bread is amazing. We ordered pickup and their estimated time was spot on. The order exactly as ordered and the quality couldn't be better. I would highly recommend. I am an out of towner from St. Louis where we have some amazing variety of Italian food and this is truly comparable.

This place is amazing!!! The pizza is out of this world! At work, we go to this place regularly and always get the pepperoni and sausage pizza. My new personal favorite: white pizza, as I drool on my phone. Prices are great and people are very friendly and on top of things in regards to service.

We live in Georgia, were staying in Daytona Beach, and visited Blue Spring State Park in Orange City, and were quite hungry and searched on Yelp for a pizzeria. This one sounded promising, so we put the address into the GPS. We discovered that Angelina's is in the corner of a strip mall, and normally we might have turned away. But following the advice of several reviewers, we took a chance. We happen to be vegetarians. My wife ordered the greek salad minus meat, which came with garlic bread, and my son and I split a veggi pizza with 1/2 alfredo and 1/2 tomato sauce. The pizza was excellent and the garlic bread was very good. My wife really enjoyed her greek salad. The service was very good. The waitress was very attentive and seemed to know when to leave us alone and when we might need something. Give this place a chance if you are in the area! Eating here is a good call. You won't regret it! As a side, try the garlic bread for sure! Total price for the 3 of us, including 2 soft drinks was $30.

My boyfriend and I stopped by here for dinner after house hunting. Our waitress was very polite an attentive! The food came out quick, was hot and delicious which is a lot more than you can say for the chain restaurants all over today. It reminded me of the small Italian restaurants commonly found in my old home town in NJ. I live about an hour from here but I will be back!!

Open Mon-Sat with take out or dine in. Angelina's is nestled in the west volusia regional shopping center. A fair amount of seating space and a quaint Yankee Italian feel inside. It made me feel like I was back in Philly at a local pizza shop there. I was greeted at my seat and ordered the chicken roll. Waited aprox.. 10 mins to get food and let me say, it was well worth it! I do think the chicken could've used a spice or two... but it was still tasty as it was. I watched the other items taken from the window, all of them looked great and smelled amazing! Each person I noticed seemed satisfied and smiling.. Except for that poor girl who seemed to be getting dumped...;(

Angelina's is the best in DeLand! The food is great, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is that of a Staten Island eatery. Without the attitude...The garlic knots are KNOT to be missed! Some of the best sauce I've had in Central Florida. I just wish I could get slices in FL like I could in NYC or even Jersey.

Angelina's has delicious pizza. The sauce is flavorful. I find that so many pizza places have such boring, bland sauce. A plus is you can usually get a 2 for 20 coupon in the Clipper, so it's also a great value.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
