Red flag alert! This is a douchebag hangout. My wife and I went on Sunday night/ Monday morning and the place was packed. Luckily, we were able to get a couple of seats at the bar. A couple of guys were nice enough to move down a stool to allow both my wife and I to sit down. So I decided to be nice and start a conversation with the guy. I noticed he had a couple of tapers (one in each lobe). They were cheesy-looking blue swirl acrylic tapers. So I ask the guy, "Hey, man. How far are you planning to stretch those?" The guy proceeds to go off on a speech about how he is going to be a lawyer, he just took the LSAT, his lobes can't go past 00g (they are at 0g), blah blah blah. Shut the fuck up, man! You're not going to be a lawyer, dick. If you just took the LSAT, you're going to be a law school student. Second, don't be such a bitch and stretch the lobes if you really want to - be a maverick and blaze a trail. If you get shit for it, don't sweat it. Society at large is full of dipshits anyways. Later on, a guy and his female companion sit down a few stools away from us. I see the guy drinking a dark brownish beer that looked like Newcastle. Again, I decide to be nice and start a conversation so I ask the guy, "Is that Newcastle you're drinking?" His genius reply, "Nah. This is (? - I can't remember what he said). I only drink European beer." Okay you snooty fuck. Where the hell do you think Newcastle is from?! It's from England, Magellan! Service was mediocre at best. The prices were high. I'll stick to my dive bars and seedy establishments.

this pub has been open since 1989 (that's as old as me) so I like it for that, I like that it's family owned and operated, I like the great beer selction. I don't like the prices, I don't like the food, and I don't like the old dart boards that SERIOUSLY need to be replaced with new ones, come on people! Over-all this is a solid pub, a-ok for me.

So I may be more of a lounge kinda gal, but this bar was cool. Very laid-back and reasonably priced. The music being played that night was really good too. And even though there were a bunch of TVs, it didn't interfere with the tunes which was a plus. As for the service, the wait staff was fast and friendly. Despite living further south I'd stop in again if I was int he area. Also, hi5 for clean bathrooms (Girls you know that's a give-or-take star in itself).

Ok guys ..first review ever! Here I go ... I came here on a Monday night, a bit after 9pm and met up with a buddy for drinks. There's a few tables outside for the smokers, and inside it seemed pretty lively. There was a decent amount of room at the bar. We got pitchers (they have a good amount of beer on tap) After some drinking and chatting, I notice that they started doing KARAOKE! I know not every karaoke experience is the same, but the people that went up there that night did a really good job. Played good songs, and even sang em well also(metallica, lady gaga are the ones I can remember off the top of my head). The place definitely started getting more packed as the night went on. The crowd is casual and attractive. The bar service was good. Overall a great experience, and it was my 2nd time ever there. I will definitely check it out again, especially on Monday nights!

I'd like to say I have only gone here for lunch a few times, it is usually pretty quiet around 1 or 2PM. The waiters seem to be focused and they never messed up anything. I highly recommend the fish and chips or the wings.

I guess if you're a 20-something, it would be alright. I was the oldest person in the place. And you'd better be a 20-something with a good job, as it wasn't cheap. They gave me the wrong credit card, which I didn't realize until the next morning when I was on the plane back to PA.

Best fish n' chips in the area can be found right here! They also have about 50+ beers on tap! Good fries and burgers... Did you say key lime pie?! Delicious mmm. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. A grey place to eat and hang out.

This place was fun and good at one time but now it sucks! $10 credit card min...are you a cheap chinese food take out restaurant? How does a bar run out of Miller Lite draft?? This place needs a bar rescue.

This place has the charm of an old English pub. The food is good. The fish and chips are better than I have had in any of the gastropubs I have eaten in London. I am very happy to recommend this place.

This place has some of the best Fish & chips I've had in South Florida. The give three large pieces of batter fried cod with a ton of steak fries. Their clam chowder is not always the same but if they have the right cook it is as good as being in New England. It's creamy with lots of clams and potatoes. The decor is definately college dive themed. I don't mind but it is not the place to go on a date. Don't expect great service. The staff are too young to really give a care. It has been adequate but quality of the food makes up for that.

  • Jessi T.

I enjoy this place. They have a good selection of beers and their food is pretty good too.. I love how their kitchen is open until 4am while most places close their kitchens much earlier. If you go, definitely try the funnel cake sticks with both the raspberry and chocolate sauces. Fried dough is always an occasion for yumminess. There's also cool things like Rock Band night.

  • Joseph G.

Man what is with all the Falcon hate on here!! The food could use some improvement, but it's your typical neighborhood bar... What do you really expect, filet mignon? There's a very large beer selection, there are darts and some game nights. I've always had a good night out at this place and I'll def keep going back. I will, however, concede to the haters that this is definitely not a sports bar by any means.

Focus, people, focus! This place needs to get its act together. What this place has is decent British staples like fish & chips, bangers & mash, and shepards pie. Also, a decent size beer on tap and overall beer list. What it lacks is a consistent theme and consistent service. The place is plastered in beer signs and some retro paraphernalia and has a few TVs scattered here and there. Its somewhere between a British pub and a sports bar, and then sometimes it puts on airs of being a club (some nights there appears to be a bouncer. Really?) Oh yeah, and one evening, there was a party there with kids and they were handing out balloons. Wha? The service is friendly sometimes and rude others. Often to usually, service is on the slow side and only moderately attentive. Most of the time, the music in here is stupid loud, but sometimes not. The prices seemed typical for the area, which is to say high for someone not from South Florida. It's...well, you take your chances on what you're going to get here.

So, I'm a little torn. They have a good beer selection. Their nachos were tasty. The service was friendly - and quick - we brought in a crowd of 20 on a Monday and they did just fine with us, but... My friend was looking to try a new beer. I suggested Abita's Purple Haze. She got a VERY small sample, maybe half an ounce? The beer was sour. It tasted like a tap or a line or maybe the keg had a problem. We told the bartender (manager/owner?) that the beer was sour and he probably had a problem with the tap... without tasting the beer, smelling the beer, or even looking at the tap he said: "No. Our taps are clean. Our bartenders keep them clean and do a great job." While I don't doubt that, there could still be a problem elsewhere. I was pretty disappointed that he didn't even look at / smell / taste the beer. If you go, taste a sample before you buy a pint, even if you know you like the beer.

Very slow service. 20 min wait for a beer. Expensive beer prices and the food is just OK. Been here a few times and each time I'm reminded its just not worth time or $. Not coming back.

Hit this bar twice for some drinks with NSU friends. The atmosphere is cool for a pub, and the crowd and staff are really friendly. Their Rockband nights during the week are epic! Make up a band name, and go up and play with friends or randos. The beer prices are standard from what I've seen - about $6 for import draft or $8 for a domestic pitcher. Though I just moved here from canada a few weeks ago and I'm not fully acquainted with the bar prices here :P Either way, both times I've been, I've had an awesome time. Go check it out!

I met friends here for some drinks one night. Maybe I just came here on an off night but i've definitely had better bar experiences than this one. The first thing that bothered me was the fact that they had to hold a credit card to start a tab. I understand that this is a deterrent to keep people from running out on their tabs, but I offered to just pay cash right then for my drink and she refused and said they must hold a credit card. That was just crazy!! Personally, it just makes me uncomfortable when a bar holds my credit card. I was honestly ready to leave and take my money elsewhere but I was here for a friends celebration so I didn't want to be rude. The service in general wasn't very good, our waitress wasn't attentive. It was a Friday night but we arrived at 8:30 before the crowd came in so being "busy" wasn't an excuse. The bathrooms are horrible and there was no music playing at all in the bar unless someone went to the jukebox and played a song. I didn't try the food so I can't comment on that. The only positive thing I can really say about my visit here is they do have a nice selection of beers on tap. Overall I just didn't get a good vibe here...

Five stars for the beer and 2.5 for the food. Traditional Pub food, but the beer is fantastic. A great spot for a pint or two.

Rang in the new year at Falcon Pub this morning. I like this place. Sal, the owner is so friendly and warm and the overall atmosphere was comfortable. typical sports bar theme with great beer selection. There's even a place where one could sing karaoke...badly. Oooooh the shepherd's pie is to die for!!

Went for fish and chips last night. Three pieces of cod battered up and fried. Big steak fries but not enough of them. They had an extensive beer selection on tap. The decor was wood with the usual Guiness and Harp signs everywhere. Price was high, $15 out the door for fish and chips? I drank water for crying out loud. My waitress was not happening. Dining alone I was subjected to a basketball game on the TV, thankfully the sound was turned down. This place has the wanna-be-a-sports-bar thing going full steam. It felt like I was in a cave surrounded by beer advertisments.

The four stars I am giving this place is strictly based on the huge selection of beer and the fact that they have Spaten Optimator on tap! I love the beer and the bartenders are friendly and have helped me in selecting different brews to try. Everybody on here is pretty on point with how loud the music is and crappy as well. Also there are some douchebags and tools that come in as a result of so many schools nearby. Same result with Magnum P.I. at the door starring at I.D.'s like he can decode them. But like I said the reason I like this place is because of the ton loads of beer they have on tap. The beer is not cheap, depending on the beer it costs on average $7 for beer.

I used to love this place, it is always a great atmosphere and cool people to meet, but I think it is waaaaaay overpriced compared to other places, but even more for what you get. That I could take but what really made me change my mind was that the last 3 times I was there the service was horrible! They have 4 bartenders at the bar that don't know what they are doing, and like another review I read... Yes they do treat you like you were at the DMV. Last time I was there the plates were never picked up until we pretty much cleaned for them, by the time they asked if I wanted another beer I already wanted to leave and it took 20 min until one of the 4 bartenders in the tiny bar actually paid attention and finally gave us the check. So go. Eat, drink, but don't expect good service, I used to be a regular but now I can say that probably I won't go back, used to be a great place back in the day... They need to get their act together.

I have driven by this pub many times and never decided to stop in, because I am more familiar with other pubs in the area, so I tend to go with the safer choice. I finally decided to pop in on a Friday night, the motivation being that the parking lot was not that full and my husband and I didn't feel like waiting for a booth for a long time. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. My husband had been here years ago (it was his first experience with bangers and mash), but I guess he came for lunch, so he was in a rush and didn't get to chill and enjoy the myriad of high alcohol content beers. I am usually wary of pub grub, but I gave it a shot. I was in the mood for a salad, and was pleased to see them on the menu. I was initially nervous, because most the items that popped out at me were deep fried or really fattening, so I was hoping that the salads wouldn't be too heavy. I went for the Skirt Steak Salad and OHMYGOSH can I just tell you I was thoroughly impressed!! The meat was so tender, which is unusual for a steak salad, where they usually give you grissly cuts or at least not the best cuts of meat. I was in awe. ANd it was very fiiling too, and so flavorful I didn't have to use dressing. Amazing. Now let's move onto the booze. I originally ordered a vodka-soda, my usual safe choice. But then I looked at the beer menu and loved the high alcohol contents of the beers. I usually don't drink beer when out and about, especially when I'll be eating, since beer fills me up so much. One or two beers will do the trick, folks. With names like Delirium Tremens and Panic Attack, you know their beers pack a punch. And they're delicious too. Can't go wrong. I also like that it's spaceous and the waitresses are super friendly and sweet. I would definitely go again. I was kinda torn on yelping this because I liked how empty it was, lol but the world must know of its awesomeness. I hope this isn't a single isolated wonderful experience, since I'm not seeing many 4's on here, so I promise to yelp back if anything changes.

Great selection of beers. They can get quite pricey. Has a nice homey feel on weekdays (Quiet). The fish and chips aren't too bad with a cold beer. I would recommend checking it out at least once. The food can also get pricey. The atmosphere is pretty awesome considering its in the middle of Davie. The staff are also pretty friendly and love striking up a conversation. Along with the food, the drinks tend to be a little pricey. But if you like a good craft beer, you won't mind paying a little extra.

This place is TERRIFIC. Showed up here with some friends on a Thursday night. They have the video game "Rockband" set up in a private corner, so groups can sign up to perform (one drummer, one singer, one guitarist all follow on-screen queues and work in harmony to perform a song)This really takes karaoke to a new level. At first, the music was mostly heavy metal/rock but it later retuned to modern pop and hip-hop. The drinks are pretty reasonably priced and the bartenders are quick and attentive. It always nice not to have to wait longer than necessary while flagging down the bartender. A lot of folks opted for beer buckets (of bud lite) to share with their groups. Mostly college kids frequent this place, so it's very welcoming to the youthful/student crowds. There's a spectacular set of games outside the bar. Dozens of hooligans line up to play beer pong at a lengthy wooden table. Check out the spectacular jenga set on one of the outdoor tables - kept us busy for over an hour towering wooden blocks and watching them fall. I'm excited to come back here for a reasonably priced beer and to play some jenga.

Update: I tried the regular portion of Fish and Chips rather than the lunch portion, and if you like Fish and Chips, skip the lunch portion. The regular size is more expensive, but it is worth it. Have it with the malt vinegar. My lunch buddy and I made the return visit here, and we were both very pleased with our food. I am excited to now have a new delicious protein option for lunch. Her cheese steak looked fantastic also, and it must have been. She ate the whole thing, and I would have been lucky to get half way through that bad boy.

I was in this area from Atlanta and needed some time to kill. So I decided to give it a shot. This place has a great selection of craft beers, and the staff definitely gives it a home-y feeling! They even recommended a lot of places I should go check out in the area. Good start to my trip!!

This establishment is always on point. Their draft selection is vast, and don't be afraid to request a shot selection from their bartenders. Whether it's a birthday cake shot, a salted chocolate pretzel shor, or something pink and fruity, they are tasty and potent. Gigi is an incredible bartender with a personality to match. Don't hesitate to request her help in choosing a drink. Finally, though you may not come here for the food, it is always delicious. Great chicken tenders!!!! I would highly recommend this establishment, whether it is a fantasy sports draft or a night out for drinks with the group!!!

Horrible experience ..... lunch wing special took forever and when it finally arrived it was the worst garlic wings ever! Explained to bartender my concerns ... response was "I just place the order" . I was told it was fresh garlic put it was poured from a jar from Winn dixie. Worst wings ever !

This is one of the top 10 places to drink a beer in broward? Really? I saw nothing but a terrible beer selection with some not even working. The service was whatever and the food selection was not good either. Will not return

I have only ever been here for drinks, never food. The ambience is awesome. A lot of fun people are usually there. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have beer pong and a giant jenga table outside. I prefer to go on Monday nights for kereokee. My favorite part is the beer selection. Usually there are several IPAs on tap for me to try. Best dive bar in Davie!

    (4)
  • Jessica V.

First let me just say that I have met very few people who have not been to "The falcon"... It's been a mainstay here in central Broward for over 25 years. The food is awesome- skip your craft burger joint and just head over and you'll be so pleased you did. The beer selection is incredible and bartenders are knowledgeable, attentive and truly very helpful. Their fish and chips, wings, burgers, bangers and mash, shepherds pie, WING SAUCE, buffalo chicken sandwich, VEGGIE BURGERS are all far above average not to mention the loadable steak fries! Also- they have one of the best bands I've ever heard playing there monthly.... FISHING WITH FREDO! Get over to the FALCON and experience it for yourself!!

    (5)
  • Cid P.

Anyway, I was here on Saturday February 14th to see my friend's band, Fishing With Fredo, play. We had a whole section by where the band was playing just for us. Maybe it's because we knew the band but, we weren't thirsty or in need of anything while there. We were very well taken care of and it was many of us using different tables in that area. My best friend, who had been to this pub already, told me I had to try the Chicken Wings here. So, I did. In addition to their Chicken Wings and throughout the concert, I also tried their Southwest Egg Rolls, Cheddar-filled Jalapeños and Cheese Nachos. The Cheese Nachos being my least favorite and the Southwest Egg Rolls being my favorite. The nachos weren't bad. I just didn't like the hint of "something" sweet in them. The Southwest Egg Rolls here are the same concept as the ones you will find on the menu of their larger big box competitor, Chili's to be exact, but, better with more of a spicy kick to them. Not too overpowering with the spiciness though and went very well with the beer. Their Cheddar-filled Jalapeños were as expected. They weren't bad and they weren't "great." This dish, if you like spicy, were on the lighter side of dishes. Great option if you're looking for something "not so filling." Honestly? I didn't find them "that" spicy. This, too, went very well with the beer. Which, brings me to the beer. Here, on this night, is when I found-out that Yuengling is my favorite beer. We were ordering pitcher after pitcher while here. I lost count of how many exactly. See, compared to other beers I've had, Yuengling gives you a nice buzz rather quickly. Yuengling is what I ask for first now when I go places. Used to be Fat Tire which, is also available here. Hell, I think every beer is available here. If not, it sure looks like it. Nope, I didn't forget about the Chicken Wings. I'm just leaving them for last because they deserve their own paragraph on this Yelp the same way they are listed independently on their menu. Available small, ten pieces or, large, 20 pieces. We obviously went with the large. Full of meat and perfect in every bite. We ordered ours mild since not everyone at my table was a fan of spicy. These are one of the best Chicken WIngs I've had out there. Yeah, I'm a fan of this pub and will be back in the future. Hopefully, to see my friend's band, #FishingWithFredo, perform again. They are GREAT if you're a fan of Santana and the likes of that style of music. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Parking - This pub is located in a strip mall with LOTS of parking spaces. Finding a spot "shouldn't" be a problem when coming here. * This pub is dog friendly. In their outside sitting area which, is very open and nice, I saw two patrons with their dog sitting there enjoying their beer. We were having great weather to be outside that night. After going on their website, YUP, they encourage people to bring their dog. Very nice touch. * I also noticed on their website, they offer discounts to students of the nearby Nova Southeastern University. This university is literally down the street from this pub. * For being so close to an university on a Saturday night, the crowd here is very diverse as far as ages are concerned. I wasn't the oldest one here. Just something to note. * Why not a fifth star? Well, although we were very well attended to, from walking around here and there gathering information for this Yelp, not everyone was. This pub is understaffed. It wasn't too bad, though but, for a Saturday night on Valentine's Day, they were understaffed. * Special THANKS to The Dellutri Family for owning and running such a great local place. #KeepItLocal

Foods good and the beer selection is fantastic, but...having two beers and a plate of shepherds pie for $30 bucks is kind of pricey. Probably won't go back, unless I'm ok with paying 7 bucks for a beer. Here was the run down of my bill. 2 Rogue Ales $14, shepherds pie $10, $1 dollar to go order surcharge plus taxes were $27. and change. I threw them $30 for a small tip since the service wasn't fantastic anyway. I know craft beer is expensive but come on guy. Also the shepherds pie was delicious but it wasn't a huge amount and I expected more. Come on bro, it's mostly mashed potatoes with ground beef. It's not that expensive to make. Food was good and the beer was delicious, so if you have money to burn, this place is good.

Its funny how they are trying to go with the sports bar theme as they would do better with the "hey im the cool local dive bar." They have a decent selection of beers and the fish and chips are pretty good, but way to expensive for what it is. The doorman/bouncer idea needs to go as well.Overall nothing special, you want a great bar go to Kingshead a little bit north on University Dr.

I'd give it a 2 1/2 if I could. The beer selection is great though rather expensive. Note to bartenders DON"T BE SO TACKY over money. I had the sad experience of seeing two bartenders "laying down the law" when it came to a costumer's dislike of the taste of the beer he is very familiar with (are the beer lines clean??? My beer tasted funny too) They wanted to charge the poor soul for returning a bad tasting beer because he drank some of it!!!???!!?! HEY LADIES WE HAVE BEEN TIPPING YOU ON $7 beer (ahem...PLUS TAX!) all night, the least you can do is be nice to your customers! Friggin IDIOTS! I agree this place has potential, they are rather lucky they have a bunch of no nothing college student around to keep them afloat.

Went here last night to meet up with some people from work. It was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and they had a great selection of beers. It was my first time there, but I'll definitely go again when I'm in the neighborhood. I tried the Falcon Ale (a couple times), tasty beer, along the lines of a Newcastle. A few of the people I was with had food and really enjoyed it.

I love this place. Great beer selection, awesome jukebox, friendly service, only thing that sucks is the d-bag wanna be cop checking IDs at the door.

To keep it simple - good food, great atmosphere. Juke box, huge selection of craft beers, private reservable section for large parties, even a beer pong table outside. The food isn't amazing, but it's definitely not bad. And the service is good but really depends on who you get. I left behind some stuff there after my birthday and they held it behind the bar for me until I was able to get it the next day. So its nice that they're trustworthy!

  • Ross D.

Man, this place has really gone downhill over the last few years thanks to incompetent ownership. The food remains great thanks to the cook, but it's overpriced a little. The beer, meanwhile, is ridiculously overpriced. I paid $5 for a bottle of Corona last night, that should tell you everything. Beer specials are pretty much non-existent or very weak. The beer on tap also often tastes odd, even though the employees will say you're insane when you complain about that odd taste. The service is continually awful, and they change every couple of months or so. Expect your glass to sit there empty for a good 10-15 minutes if you have a table away from the bar area and there is any kind of crowd. Oh, and $10 minimum for credit cards is just insane. So, if I spent $10.01 I can use a card, but not if I spend $9,99? I used to frequent the Falcon on a weekly basis, but I will be staying away until there is a change in ownership. The star is for the food, but that's it.

What a disappointment. Heard they had great fish and chips so arrived hungry. Went in the door, one of the waitresses was standing by the door writing the specials on the menu with her back to the door, so we let her know we were there, but she ignored us - then I said to my husband "I wonder if we have to wait to be seated or should we just go in?" She ignored us still. I finally said to her, should we wait or go and sit anywhere? She said "Sit anywhere" still with her back to us - no "hello, i'll be with you in a minute." So rude. Strike one. Secondly, the loud headbanging heavy metal music was SO loud we could barely have any conversation - I did tell the owner, who turned it down for 5 minutes and then it went up again. We saw two couples come into the pub during the evening, look around, then point to their ears and turn around and leave - obviously we weren't the only ones who didn't like the loud awful music. Thirdly, we're not idiots and didn't appreciate our fish and chips being served to us on appetizer size plates. Chips on bottom, fish on top - so if I put lemon on my fish, it would get on the chips, and I couldn't put salt and vinegar on my chips without it getting all over the fish - I had to order a second plate to put my fish. Are we supposed to think wow, what huge portions, the food is almost falling off the plate? Seriously, why can't they put the food on a normal sized plate? I did not enjoy having to eat from two separate plates. My husband ordered his second beer and had to wait 20 minutes for it, with us reminding the waitress about it, only to be told they had run out. He then had to order a different beer, but at $7 a glass, I thought it was pricey - having said that, he really enjoyed his beer and the actual fish and chips weren't bad at all. But due to all the other things, rude waitress, loud music, small plates, we will never go back. One last thing, we are British - and were hoping it would be like a good old British pub - but failing that, a decent place to get a bite to eat - they failed on both accounts.

They have that fire. Food is awesome. The wings are amazing especially with chunky garlic uffffff. Their stuffed mushrooms and chicken tenders are so delicious. Drinks are expensive but the food is reasonably priced. Atmosphere is young and loud. I don't mind it but sometimes people get a bit too wasted and makes it seem trashy. Whatever I like it and giant janga.

This place reeks of the over played mediocrity that defines the city by which it is surrounded. Just sit right over there on that brown wooden bench Davie. I'll get to you soon enough. It's not like you have anything better to do. I hadn't chosen to be in Davie (honestly, who does?) but I had to grab a bite, and stopped at the Falcon. Yelp says it's a 'Pub', and Yelp says it's 'British'! It is neither of these things my friends. My first mistake was not heeding the inherent warning in the sign on the door that reads 'No Shirts Without Sleeves After 8pm!' I could not possibly make that up. Upon entry I did not see a British Pub, I saw a shitty dive bar albeit with a decent tap collection which incidentally is the only thing that saved this dump from a one star thrashing. After a way too friendly/creepy greeting from the girl tending bar I got a beer and had a look at the menu. Heeding reviews that the food was not the best I ordered chicken tenders because they are pretty much impossible to screw up, right? Well, in defiance of the laws of chicken physics, they were simultaneously rubbery and mushy. I suspect they were put aside hours before and deep fried again. I almost hurled. Check please! Ah Davie, I see you've waited for me on that crappy brown bench as instructed. Good lad, I have some things that may be hard for you to hear. Dismissing all the half assed, white trashy, low class aspects of yourself by saying 'We're too country for you! Yew just don't git it!' just isn't cutting it anymore. You suck. At everything, except sucking. I'm betting that all of your reviews have an extra pity star as the rest of South Florida looks at you like that slow puppy that got squeezed a little too long by Timmy that one summer. When you bring the ball we just threw and drop it at the feet of the mailbox expectantly, we just pat you on the head and move on. And stop with all the western, country schlock already. You just don't have the chops to pull it off. I have been all over the western United States, and seen some pretty cool towns. Davie makes me feel just like being in a true western town about as much as playing the windmill hole at the putt putt makes me feel just like being in Amsterdam. Don't go away mad Davie, just go away.

I've been twice so far. Food isn't bad for bar food, the wings are actually really good. Weird crowd, so I guess I fit right in. You have the young and rowdy, the classy and chic, college students from Nova, country folks, goth kids, older business guys, etc. It's right down the street from my house and stays open fairly late. Altogether a good local bar. A bit dark inside and sort of shady looking. It's one of those places that at first glance you want to get back in your car and leave. I'm glad I gave it a chance. Seating isn't too comfortable but it's no big deal. They do beer pong and have a pool table.

If it weren't for trivia on Tuesdays I'd never come here now that they changed all their servers to people who remember nothing, forget ever order and don't ever come to check on their tables. If you come here, order from the bar.

We love this little spot! Great food, excellent beer selection & amazing staff. The Fish & Chips are a staple & the Shepard Pie Wrap is divine. They switch out some of the beers regularly so you can always find something new to try or have your favorite too.

Great craft beer, familiar faces, friendly staff and the food is great too! 20 chicken wings for $12.99 and they aren't those little skimpy wings either, you won't find that deal anywhere else that I know of. It's pretty slow on week days but really picks up on the weekends. They have music and games and many other fun things happening. Check it out, you won't regret it!

awesome food awesome craft beer I recommend for beer the bootlegger's bourbon hard rootbeer and kentucky bourbon ale .. the fish & chips is pretty good & the burgers of any kind are great

Their wings are good. I ordered 20 garlic with medium sauce; served with some carrots. I've eaten here before and haven't been disappointed. The pub reserves a room for the monthly Dr Who club, which is awesome on so many levels.

Fun place. Lots of beets and ciders on tap. Hard Root Beer, something unique. Pub food. Not bad. Nice crowd.

Very lousy costumer service.. Over priced 4$ for a regular drink that's watered down. The lady at the bar was very lazy. The floors are dirty . Just over all disgusting place ... Recommend no one.

Monday night is karaoke night, and even though I've only been once I had an absolute blast singing my lungs out to the likes of Ginuwine's Pony and Tag Team's Whoomp there it is! I had the crowd give me a standing ovation for my performances, & I absolutely love this bar, I just wish that I had more time in my week to devote to visiting this wonderful bar. It has a very distinct hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, which I love so much, and I will definitely be back for more fun on Monday nights.

The food was great, service not so much. We were in a group that meets once a month at Nova and then we head to the pub. Only one waitress assigned and she was overwhelmed. It took my friend close to an hour to have his first beer not cool.

My boyfriend and I really enjoy this place we always stop in randomly for a craft beer when we can't find anything else to do... we have fallen in love with the Kentucky bourbon ale! If you haven't had it.. YOU MUST!! We came one time on a Monday, they were having karaoke which was pretty awesome and a lot of fun.

Best time to go: 10pm - 2 am Monday-Wednesday. It's just normally really slow. When I mean slow, I mean sssslllllloooooooooooooowww. Thursday: Thursday is a nice younger group night, seeing as how it's so close to the college, and all the kids flock over to CHEAP beer prices ($10 a bucket of 5 budlights). They have all different things going on, including karaoke, guitar hero, jenga, and beer pong. Friday: Friday in my opinion is the best night to go! The crowd tends to be late 20s early 30s, playing Jenga, Beer Pong, darts, or just sitting down enjoying a beer. Saturday: The crowd seems to die out on Saturdays, because they're usually all out at either Las Olas, or Cowboys. I would recommend coming out early and do your pregame here. Sunday: Nice day to just go with a friend, relax and have a beer after a long week. P.S. If you ever want to lose on Beer Pong, come find me. ;)

We have been back a couple times in the past couple months and they seem to be doing a much better job. The beer pong set up outside is fun to play or watch. They had a HUGE jenga set that was fun too...but apparently some dirt bag stole it. Waitresses did a nice job...bartenders got drinks out quickly...and the bar was very full both times we returned. It's good to see a long standing place doing a nice job. We'll definitely be back.

You must come here for a couple of times to realize how much you can't live without it. No but seriously this place warms my heart always. The drunk random guys hitting on girls, and that way too obvious high person in the corner lol I love it. I couldn't ask for more to be honest. For all of you out there with a nasty taste for this place you gotta give it more than just one chance, because I bet once you come back you will change your mind forever! Great beer, unique staff and last but not least we all love Sal!

    (5)
  • Morgan L.

Love this place! Fun staff and great beer selection. Always something fun going in there, Mondays karaoke, Tuesdays trivia, Wing Wed, Thursday live jazz band and rock band the video game. They even have a Burlesque show once a month on Sundays as well as ladies night every Sunday.

This is the Cheers bar, where everyone knows your name. I have been coming here since 2009 and have never been disappointed. There is such a warm atmosphere, it makes you want to sit there all day and sip suds. The Beers: Selection of about 50 taps or so, not sure if that is the correct number. They have everything you could want from a down town brown, "Francis Conner" (phonetically spelled), and many other custom brews. The food: BEER BATTERED FISH AND CHIPS #1 CHICKEN POT PIE #2 CHEESE BURGER #3 Don't hate on this place. Sal is a Boss.

Falcons is like the local pub in any town - a little slow on the service, friendly, and okay bucket specials ($10 for bud light). It's nice that it's close to campus and a bunch of us can head over after a long day/week of classes. Music is good sometimes and not so good others. On weekends you can play giant jenga and beer pong outside on the patio area. Good place for local bar! Check it out :)

This place has a great beer selection 50 different beers on tap and the selection is forever changing friendly staff and good pub style food. Great place for hanging of with friends, getting drunk. Beer pong table to, only down side is they get super busy at times and the service becomes slow but besides that it's a great place to come and chill with some friends at night

Made a random stop here on a Tuesday night for a beer with a buddy after enjoying a hookah at the lounge next door. Cool pub - juke box, pool table, dart board, lively atmosphere, and plenty of table space. Bartender ladies were nice, offered a sample of a beer I was curious about, lots of options on tap. Two beers @ $18..... No complaints, just a comment: a frosty beer mug would have been delightful. Again, this was an impromptu visit outside of my local area, I rarely venture over to the west side of town, and for good reason.

Love pub food, but the food here was tasteless. Small fish fillets for the fish & chips, no flavor in the batter. No spices (not even worchestershire) in the shepherd's pie. For a "pub", tiny portion of the menu (4 items?) was pub food, mostly American bar food. Service was slow on a Tuesday night. The tap for the Strongbow (one of only 2 ciders available) was obviously also used for beer, causing the cider to taste like ale, gross. Interior is kind of dingy/out-dated, which is okay for a pub. The pub trivia on a Tuesday night was well run, good volume, and fun, though we didn't play, but played along. We won't go back. 2 other pubs in Broward (Sunrise & Pembroke Pines) that are much better on all accounts.

Great spot to get some late night eats and drinks. I really enjoyed the fish n chips, I could tell the fish was fresh and not frozen filets, and the 20 piece wings were nice and crispy and not drenched in sauce like I had asked. Lot of locals there, especially college kids playing karaoke/guitar hero, wish I had a mute button at times, but that's part of the charm of this place. I just wish that they would serve the beers in ice cold mugs, but besides that, I'll keep coming back.

Worst service I have ever received! We sat at the bar and ordered a round 1... not bad, then we ordered the fried pickles also not bad. Well here comes round two we ordered to draft beers... my friend got hers and I wait... and wait... and wait... after 15 minutes of having no one behind the bar the bartender comes back out and I pleasantly remind her that I ordered a beer. She was kind of apologetic but had more of and attitude that said I was bothering her. She turned around and poured the beer and then started talking to her friend and only after I called her three times I received the warm beer with an attitude. There were only five people in the bar including us mind you... Worst bar ever, i'd rather put my own catheter in then go back to this place.

A local college town bar with an assortment of beers and douchebags. This place is pretty meh, I can't really say anything great about it. It is a place on Earth with chairs and beer....one star for chairs and one star for beers. Reasons for deducting stars: The bathroom always smells like diarrhea It smells weird in the rest of the bar The food is overpriced I know everyone raves over the fish and chips, but I did not think it was very good Most of the staff is meh, and some are super mega friendly. Wait staff is constantly pushing you to close your tab. I understand that they probably have a lot of people who run out on their tab, but you can't assume that of everyone.

I've been coming here for years, I love the chicken tender and fries. Shepherds pie is good too! Always friendly service

  • Shandi B.

I have to agree with my fellow yelpers - this place really needs a half star. A solid four stars on food and drink. The kitchen is open till 4am, and they have killer fish n' chips. They also have Sea Dog Blueberry on tap (swoon). That said, the service is hit or miss, the brews are pricey, and my friends and I have gotten some poor pints on more than one occasion. We actually avoid Yuengling here, because it always seems to taste "off". Still, I have had some good times here, so I do think it's worth checking out, especially for the pub grub.

So here are a list of the things I've experienced at Falcon Pub & would like to share with you all (I come here quite a bit): 1. College kids flood the outside area. 2. Fish & Chips are delicious! Highly recommend. 3. Whatttt?! An old couple making out and the woman just flashed her boobs to the entire place?!! 4. Some dude is playing with fire outside...? 5. Yummm! Shepherds Pie! 6. Good ol' bar music 7. My girlfriend and I ordered the Reuben and got a turkey sandwich? Huh? Asked the waitress why we got this and she didn't even know what a Reuben is? 8. Drinks are always delicioso! As you can see... Ye Olde Falcon Pub and I have seen quite a bit... the good, the bad & the ugly, BUT! I love me them pubs!

  • Tiffany N.

Ah Ye Olde---places like you make me wish Yelp had half stars!! Interesting little place. I just went for drinking purposes and while the staff was friendly, it seemed like they were out of everything early on in the evening. Um, they were out of Bud Light.....on a Saturday night! Bud Light, really? Then tried to order some other drinks and they were out of a few beers in their huge selection of drafts. And that didn't sit well with this girl or the bartenders--it took forever to get any kind of drink and they seemed frazzled for the most part. Not sure if it was just a typical Saturday night in this place or what but I would be willing to go back again on a week night or to try their food. It seems like the kind of place that would have solid bar food.

  • Brain T.

Great atmosphere here around 2am. And you would think the food here would be awful but in fact it is quite delectable. You can't go wrong with 20 wings for 12$. Drinks are a little expensive. Service is above average. Very interesting crowd. Music is diverse.

  • Colleen C.

Something about Falcon Pub just makes me annoyed. I haven't had any identifiably bad experiences here, but I just don't enjoy the atmosphere whatsoever. Their pitchers are smaller than you'll find at other places, and higher priced. They also have a $10.00 minimum on credit cards, which I think is silly. One of my friends was ID'd for no reason when we were just sitting outside having a cigarette, which was strange. As other reviewers have mentioned, the karaoke here can range from "good" to "please amputate my ears." All in all, I'd suggest going elsewhere, as I will be doing myself from now on. I have given this bar a few chances and it never fails to disappoint.

  • Andre W.

The only thing I like about the place. Is the fish and chips There is nothing really British about the place anymore except for some of the beers It does not even promote British sports It is actually the closest bar to Dolphin training camp with no atmosphere. I wish this place would get better it was a great British pub once.

Had 5 beers in a 6 hour span that I was there and the older lady bartender cut me off and said she didn't think I was drunk but she didn't want to serve me any more beer. Never came back.

I've only had the fish and chips and the sheppards pie but tis good, tis real good. The fish and chips is a bit expensive to me but you get a big chunk of fish that you can tell is meaty and good quality. go on restaurant.com and get the coupon. makes the meal a lot more reasonably priced. sheppards pie is good, tis nothing left to say. love, Bao Eat on my Friends!
