Went there for the first and probably the last time on Sunday - it's just a typical Sports bar. Dark and drearier inside with lots of TV's, I ordered a beer and it took awhile, ordered a second and I had to ask three times "where is my beer". The service is terrible and the food is to. Suggest you stay away.

Food is awesome, servers are great, music is wow. I sat outdoor and it was great. Kareoke on Friday, patrons ate friendly as well. Will be back.

First and second visits were awful. Service was terrible and food is mediocre. Ordered a veggie burger (I'm a vegetarian) and they served me a cow. The menu is all over the place. They need to clean up their service issues and streamline the menu. On a positive note there are more TVs than you can count.

Came her for dinner last night with a buddy because a few coworkers mentioned it and when we walked in it was what you want out of a sports bar. TVs everywhere, music, upbeat atmosphere and plenty of room. Took them about two min to seat us and you don't have to worry the only place in the bar you can't see the game you want is in the bathroom. Server came over right away got the drinks to us helped me pick what to eat since I wasn't sure. I had the chicken sandwhich with apples and Brie with a nice bed of fresh spinach was very good even toasted the bread with some butter for extra flavor. Had the fried calamari for a starter was fried nice and was tender. My experience here was very good my friend also liked his spaghetti and meatballs. Would recommend to a friend and will be going back .

Great local spot. Not crowded on Sat night. Wild Mushroom Penne Pasta was delicious. Cheese toast was so good I ordered another batch.

A friend had watched this place get built and wanted to try it out. In spite of the name, it's not a basketball restaurant. When we went, it was college football all around. There are hundreds (it seems) of TVs around--even one at each booth. Right there, you know that if the food is good, you will be able to watch "the game"--whatever that game is for you. The service was spotty, but polite. There didn't seem to be enough people serving to get quick response as we sat down, but once the order was placed, things picked up. We both ordered beer and appetizers. The menu says that the appetizers are made on site and things tasted fresh--calimari was tender and not rubbery, but could use some seasoning. Ditto for the creole aioli--not seasoned enough to call it "creole". I think they spent too much money on the stone finishes in the eating area and bathrooms. That's not the vibe I think they want to promote. Maybe it was to dscourage grafitti which can overwhelm some sports bars... I'll go again when I'm looking for a place to chat, watch some sports, and get a nosh.

Awesome place!! Great environment, great servers and the manager Lauren is a sweet heart!!! The food was great.especially the fries. Don't even get me started on the nachos, they're delicious!! Their is a huge amount of televisions which is perfect for Sunday football!! their was a little wait for the food, but the restaurant is new. Every restaurant has to start somewhere right? Once the kitchen gets a hang of everything the restaurant is going to be fabulous! I will definitely be back!!

We went here two times Saturday and Sunday. We wanted to give them their fair chance. Both times the service was non existent and the food was bland and boring. I would not recommend this place it was a disappointment.

Food is pretty good had wings and they had good flavor the only reason it did not get 4 stars was because of the service defiantly need help in that department other than that I would come back

Great environment. A million tvs. Good food. Bartenders Taylor, Steph, Jessy and Lindsey are awesome. Server Jenny always takes good care of us. Manager Lauren holds it all together. Looking forward to the grand opening December 6!

Went on one of the first open nights. We had food with bacon on it. The bacon was uncooked. We brought it to attention of waitress and mgr. They sid they would make a new meal, but she brought the check before the new food ever came. Then I noticed the uncooked meal was still on the bill! After waiting 10 minutes, just paid the bill and left. Horrible kitchen!

The steak fajitas were awesome, mix in an order of shrimp and it's very tasty. The babyback ribs were decent. Ambience was great, service was great. Didn't wait long for anything. Well be back.

I have visited Hoops twice. The first time I visited, it was right after their opening. The food and service were mediocre. I did a take out order today, and both service and food were terrible. First, I called to find out the website. Sam told me the website was info@hoopsspirtsbarandgr… . Realizing that this was an email address I called again. Sam told me it was now some other .com address that ended up being Hoops in Canada. I called back a 3rd time to place an order. It was a simple order. 30 wings hot and well done, and 2 french fries. I went there in 20 minutes. It took an additional 5 minutes. But only the wings were in the bag. Turns out that the fries were not in there. So I wait an additional 10 minutes for fries to be made. Took my food home. Turns out that the wings had no sauce and were under cooked. They were not hot. Absolutely no sauce. Fries were soggy and oily. Therefore overall food was bad and the idiot Sam that took my order should be working somewhere else. Will never return.

Wing Thursday, half off wings! 20 wings for $8.95, yes please! Service was great. We ordered a side salad, wings and a basket of fries. The salad was decent, pretty small for even a side salad, but the dressing was very good. The wings were good, but even with medium sauce, they weren't spicy at all, if if you like a little kick, go with the hot wings. The basket of fries were greasy and very soft, not great at all. I loved the look and feel of this place though. Hundreds of TV, each table has their own TV too. Our server was also very friendly and attentive.

Wow, what a difference a month makes. I went back to Hoops and the improvements that they made are tremendous. The food was perfectly cooked, tasty, and service was fast with a smile. The manager came over to make sure that we were being taken care of to our satisfaction. After my first visit I wasn't sure if I'd be going to Hoops for a while but after the positive changes that they have made I have been back 3 times.

I was inspired to write this to give a fair review of a quality restaurant. The fake food critics and those complaining about it being "too loud" should probably use better decision making if they want gourmet dining and a quiet evening spent amongst lovers and business partners. I visited on a Saturday night with my girlfriend to catch a preseason football game. We got there around 7pm expecting it to be packed but were pleasantly surprised to be seated and greeted right away. Great place to watch sports as there are so many TVs you could probably request whichever game you liked. Our appetizers came out very quickly and were delicious. Our waitress, Jen, was friendly and on top of it. All in all we enjoyed the game we came to watch, the food was good, and we liked the atmosphere. It was our second time here and we've been satisfied both trips. The specials looked like very good deals during the week and we will be back to try them out.

Came here last night for the first time to watch college football. The space it big so it can accommodate large parties but that's the only good thing about this place. We wanted to watch the Texas vs. Nortedame game but for some reason the waitress and hostess couldn't find it. By the time they did it was already halftime. When the second half was about to start they switched channels and when we asked to switch it back they said that people were requesting another game. There are so many tv's in there but they are linked so if one tv switched channels, then other ones do too. It was a mission to watch the game. They were also out of a lot of beer we wanted and the food wasn't that great. The waitress got a credit card stuck in the machine and had to ask for everyone's card back. Paying the bill alone took about 30 min. There are definitely better sports bars out there.

We visited right after they opened and our experience was fine. That time we sat at the bar, had an appetizer and a couple of drinks. Place is loud but that's to be expected. The menu was a bit overwhelming that visit but didn't give it much thought at the time as we weren't there to eat. My business partner and I met a client there for lunch on my 2nd visit. First of all let me say, our bad, we should have never decided to meet there and expect to be able to have an easy conversation. The place is what it is supposed to be, lots of distractions with all of the TV's and the noise level being so high. The food is good. Service was good the first time but so so the 2nd time. We will visit when we want to see a game or stop at a local place for a beer.

Just what we needed in Davie...another sports bar! There was a lot of "hoopla" before Hoops opened, and rumors of Chris Bosch being an owner. I don't know if this is true. All I know, is that Hoops may be a great place to watch sports, but it falls short in the food department. The wings are not bad, but I have had much better wings elsewhere. On both of my visits I have ordered salads and neither of them were great. The Roasted Vegetable Salad came with chicken. It was unseasoned, limp, and boring. The Salmon Caesar did not come with croutons or much cheese. I probably did not want much of the cheese anyway because it was not fresh. Even worse, the dressing (I always get Ranch instead of Caesar) tasted nasty. The salmon itself might have been fresh but it had no seasoning. I asked for it cooked medium and it came out pretty rare. Funny, husband and boys actually, like the place (and the food!) 11 year old liked his Meatball Sandwich. 10 year old liked his Buffalo Chicken Wrap, although I tasted it and the chicken was very dry. Husband liked his ribs, although I had a small taste and it did not taste very good to me. Hoops might be a great place to watch a game (or many games) though. There are tons of televisions, including one at every table! This place may be very hard for a person with ADD to handle...there is a lot going on. I just think the food really needs an upgrade before I can ever eat there again. This is one place that may have to be reserved for "boys nights only".

The food is just bad. Great for watching games but good god the chicken fingers and fries were in edible. Wasted my 8 dollars.

I stopped in on a whim for a late lunch and sat at the outside bar. It was pretty empty (weekday and around 2pm) but I was ok with that. Lots of TV' and even though I was outside, the freezing AC inside made it outside and kept me the perfect temperature. I ordered the burger that was the daily lunch special and was blown away!! It tasted like it was flame broiled and was amazing. I certainly wasn't expecting to get such a great burger, and was pleasantly surprised. Would I go back, hell yes! Would I try something else? Probably not, the burger was that good I would get it again!!!

We came here for a quick bite during lunch hours on Saturday. First impression: they got tons and tons of TV's. Probably the most TVs I've ever seen in a restaurant or Wal-Mart. But, the place was almost empty when we got there...so it usually means it's not a good sign. We sat down at the bar as usual and ordered a round of drinks. There were two bartenders working that day and I think one of them is a new employee being trained. The positive: their beers are cold. Really cold which is nice because the last thing you want is having a beer in room temperature. The some-what positive: food is average. Regular bar menu items like wings and burgers. I saw one of the sauces being served with the wings is Asian Five Spice. Wanted to go with that but I was told it was not available...maybe they 86-ed it. Went with honey garlic instead it was just ok. Wings was served with fries and that somewhat made up for it. Also ordered the fried Cajun Calamari and it wasn't too bad. The calamari was surprising tender but it lacked good "Cajun" flavor. If you are gonna call your dishes with "Cajun" in it, they better be spicy. Overall it was just an OK experience. The business was so slow that they even sent one bartender home before we asked for the check. Yes, tons of TV so I may come back again to watch the games. But I will not have too much expectation with their food. Also, I thought the service was slightly below average. Both bartenders rarely paid any attention to us. Maybe they were too buy training...?

Close to our house so I figured I'd give it a try! The location is great right off of University and Griffin.. Let's start with the service: terrible. We got sat and waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come to the table we had to get up and ask for help. Your typical sports bar loud drunk guys a little ghetto crowd... I prefer to stay at uncle Al's... Very young kids work here. The food tasted like it was microwave! Terrible! Will not be back

Food and service has gone downhill since opening. Asked for crispy wings, they came out on the soft side. Asked for the house chardonnay, wife had iced tea. Didn't see server again until she brought out the food. Asked for another house chardonnay, she brings out Chandon sparkling wine. She blamed it on the bartender, and left to replace it. When the bill came, she charged us for two Chandon Sparkling. Told her about the mistake, she brought the bill back and she charged us for two premium wines - not the house. Server either was very new or just a poor server. Won't be back.

Back again! Consistently great food and stellar service. Love the outside bar/patio. Interesting people to meet while you have a 1.95 Bud Light. This place just gets better and better.

Come here if you want to see the game no one else is showing because chances are with the gazillion TVs here, you will be able to watch it. Each booth has its own TV even. Seriously, I have never seen more TVs in a sports bar. Been here twice now. My lunch buddy and I hit this place a couple months ago; they were still pretty new and it showed. We almost turned around and left when we got there because the music was blasting to the point that we couldn't hear each other even if we were yelling. I am not sure if they saw our "WTF? It's only NOON" faces, but at that moment, someone turned the music down. THANK YOU. Well, it was still loud, but at least we could hear each other sort of. I remember the food being mediocre that first visit. I had fish and chips and ended up pulling most of the breading off. It wasn't terrible once I did that. I figured I would hold off writing a review and give them some time to work out the kinks, fire some incompetent employees and get their act together before trying them again. So this week was round two, and they still had the music, but at least it wasn't blasting to the point of deafness. It was still too loud IMO for lunch. The good part was the service. My server was on her game, and I didn't wait long for anything, which I think is key for week day lunches. This time I ordered the Penne with meatballs, and it really wasn't bad. Of course I have had better, but for what I paid (7 bucks), it was fine. I noticed when I was leaving a few people eating outside on the patio,. The area back there is nicely shaded, and there was a bartender. They have 19 draft beers, but I will have to try those sometime when it won't impact my career.

Ok so this is where I should have gone a few weeks ago when I went to Uncle Al's. Very fun, happening kind of place. Outdoor bar with karaoke looked like people were having a good time. We went inside and had a booth. Started off with the clam chowder. It only comes one size - bigger than a cup but smaller than a bowl sized serving. Good flavor, nice and creamy. For entrees, I had the spinach and goat cheese salad and added grilled chicken. Good portion, good flavor but I feel like something was missing. Maybe the dressing? It did seem a little dry. But it was fine as I am the type of person who doesn't like too much of that kind of stuff. My boyfriend had the slam dunk burger. He loved it. I tried it and liked it as well. His only complaint was the skimpy shoestring cut fries. I agree, I like my fry on the heartier side lol. Our server Jessie was very pleasant and efficient. All in all, good experience, tasty food, good service. We will definitely be back.

Ducked in with Kristin to try the grub and it was an interesting experience. I suspect this place will be on Bar Rescue or Kitchen Nightmares sooner or later as it is apparent that someone without much experience in hospitality was behind a lot of the decisions that went into the place. 1. Menus: I get it, you wanted to be cutesy and have round menus that are basketball shaped to tie a theme together. Meh. They arent' easy to carry. I watched two waitresses drop them in the short time I was there. In addition they are extremely hard to read. The letters / type is small. The background is black. Lastly, there are too many food items crammed into them. Shorten the menu ASAP. Change menus, watch sales and profits increase. 2. Decor: Too much black. It is dark inside like a nightclub. 3. Music: Too loud. Turn it down. No need to try and pretend to be a nightclub on a Tuesday night at dinner time. 4. Too Expensive. Your prices for the quality of the food are way out of line. 2 people, NO alcohol, $60 with tip is TOO MUCH for the area. Someone didn't do their research. Tea $2.95 Espresso $2.95 Lemonade $2.99 Buffalo Wrap with Sweet Potato Fries $14.90 Steak Frites with Caesar $20.94 Side Veggies $2.95 My steak was tough, thin, and small for the money. My Caesar Salad had big sliced apples in it and large croutons. WTF. It doesn't work. 5. They Don't Sell Coffee--W.T.F.?? Just Espresso? Why bother? FAIL. There are an abundance of televisions in the joint. So the place is suited for watching sports. i suggest they should have bought 1 less TV and gotten a COFFEE MAKER. Kaitlyn was a good server. I ate all of my food. I will not be back. Cabeza OUT.

We stopped in for a quick eat on a Friday after work. Ordered Artichoke Spinach Dip as a starter. Wasn't half bad, but we were kind of grossed out by the half cooked plastic wrap stuck to the hot bowl. Moved over to entrees where I had the Side Ribs, very confused by the name, as it was just a small rack of baby back ribs. Ribs were tender but the bbq sauce was a little acidic. The other Entree was the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. After removing the chibatta bun, we found a chicken tender and a half with some lettuce and tomato. I would have given two stars because the food was meh, the service was decent but the reason for the "1 Star" was that this sandwich was $13.95 and they didn't even use chicken breast. Also they charge you $2.95 to sub reg fries for sweet potato fries. *Update: just looked up the price of the sandwich and it was $10.95 on the website. So that is awesome that they charged us $13.95 + $2.95 for 1.5 chix tenders on bread and sweet potato fries. Nice Job ripping off your clientele. Best of Luck.

Went to Hoops on a Friday Night for dinner. I ordered the wings with 40creek whisky sauce. Also wanted the sweet potato fries. They arrived cold. I asked for the wings to be well done. They weren't. My wife ordered the Thai Chicken well done. When it arrived it was cold and rubbery. Sent that back and I almost completely finished my wings by the time her meal arrived. All while my soda was empty and I had to flag down a waitress to get a refill. The wings were chewy and not very flavorful. At no time did a manager check on anyone's meal or the service. Oh and I mentioned that this was our first time at Hoops and it will be our last. They have a bunch of TV's but the worst food I have had in a long time. Skip Hoops. I went on the day I made this review.

As you enter the establishment, you get a sewer smell, which may not be the restaurant's fault, except it is also present in the restrooms. Service was fine, waitress was polite, lady making balloons was great. Two out of three order of fries was severely overcooked and inedible, which the waitress said the kitchen was working on. I'd think they've been open long enough to have that figured out. Free throw burger advertised with honey mustard, yet none provided. One of the advertised craft draft beers wasn't available. Food was ok. Ladies room was dirty and smelly. Individually, none of these are deal breakers. All together, they show poor management. We'll go someplace better next time. We were there 7/26/15. Revision: perhaps I was too harsh, may have been one of those nights when everything goes wrong. There are several challenges, but I'd try this place one more time.

Been going here since Feb. was ok but has been down hill ever since. Tables dirty, lack of service and the thing that will keep me from going back was two weeks ago on a Friday Afternoon stop there with my wife for drinks at the outside bar. Two people there and bartender puts down half of a napkin as a coaster really. Then I see her ripping more napkins in half signs of things aren't going well here. Then get my bill and notice charge me for more then I ordered and told her about it (like she was so busy just us there ) Oh I didn't need the ten dollars that was on the bill like really you just said that. She told me she reverse the wrong bill and charge me the right amount. Guess what she didn't stop by answer we did and week later still on my account had to call my bank to removed it. Twin Peaks just opened and that where I going from now on it's a shame they ran this place into the ground !!!!

Can't seem to get the act together. Waited over 10 minutes for drinks, ten never came back with the beer list. The manager and over and was not very helpful when she came over. Had to go up to the bar to et my own drinks and refills. Over 30+ for the food. Mind you all this with minimal patrons inside. Unless something majorly changes, not recommended. Finally got the food. Nothing like cold food , and no one asking about it. Not to mention no steak knife offered for the steak meal. For the guys of you go in the bathroom 1 bring your own soap/hand sanitizer 2 make sure the window shade is down when you walk in. There was a kid playing with it and you can see straight in/out.

We went for the first time today for lunch at 1:30. The place was pretty empty for a Saturday, only about 4 other tables occupied. We sat at a high top near the back bar. The place looked nice, with tons of TVs, lots of stone finishing on the walls and nice tables and chairs. The menu had lots of options for appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, wings and pasta entrees. We ordered draft beer and started with calamari appetizer. The beer was cold, and a few minutes later a food runner brought us the calamari. There were a total of 13 rings on the plate that looked like onion rings! Seriously, they were heavily breaded, battered and were 2-3 inch round in diameter. They were tough, chewy, and bland also. The menu states that all appetizers are handmade in-house, this was a kitchen fail. We ordered a beef French dip sandwich and a chicken Brie sandwich. The beef French dip sandwich was good but extremely salty, and we do shy away from salt. But this was bad! The au jus was super salty too. The bread was dry and stiff. Now, on the other hand the chicken and Brie sandwich was excellent. The sandwich was on soft tasty ciabatta bread with Dijon mustard, fresh baby spinach leaves and sliced apples. Although I wish the apples were more tender, it was still a yummy sandwich. The skinny homemade French fries were greasy and waaayyy over salted. I barely ate any. The service was okay. I saw the manager walked past our table and other customers tables approx 6 times and he never checked to see if everything was okay. Jury is still out if we'll be back. Food is barely ok.

I go in for a random Friday lunch, expecting good specials on drinks and food, there were a couple of good choices..I went with a lean and healthy grilled chicken that comes with two sides and this is where it dissapoints: I asked for Arroz con Moro (they didn't have it), I asked for tostones (those also ran out), how about fried plantains (nada), yuca was also out, so what can I order at this point?!? I got white rice and fries- my last options. I tried ordering drinks like Goose Island (that was out too!) I wanted to leave but the waitress was friendly and I just settled for a Stella. BIG TIP FOR SPECIALS: GO ON TUESDAY AND TUESDAY FOR HALF OFF WINGS! That may be the only best thing they have going (if that doesn't run out) and the millions of TVs surrounding you for any game playing at the moment. Food was all right.

This is my new hangout spot on Thursday nights with my friends, the food and atmosphere are great. They're vape friendly and the Tues/Thurs wing special is killer. Oh yeah, I've been here about 6 times now and the service never disappoints.

I really, really wanted this place to be good. I was so excited when I saw that a sports bar was opening up so close to my stomping grounds. I gave this place a couple of weeks to get all of the kinks out and then decided to try it with my wife and a friend and her son. We went there on a Monday night which is usually a slow night anyway until the Monday Night Football crowd begins to arrive. We were seated immediately and that is where it began to go downhill. The waitress took way too long to greet us and take our drink order. After she finally took our drinks and food orders, I thought the food would arrive fairly quickly because the restaurant was almost empty. That was not the case. It took close to 1/2 an hour to get our food and seeing as how we all ordered either sandwiches, wings or pasta, I don't understand why it took so long. One of the pasta dishes was not hot enough and once again, it took way too long to for them to bring the dish back. How long does it take to stick the food in the microwave? The dish arrived back at the table approximately 15 minutes later and instead of offering us a free drink or dessert, the waitress did absolutely nothing. She didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. The only words that came out of her mouth were, "Your food should be out shortly." She didn't even really check on us expect for walking by our table. I had to ask her to refill the drinks and the dirty plates were not cleared away. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. The food actually wasn't bad and they gave me a decent portion of fries. However, that was pretty much the only positive aspect of the entire meal. Seeing as how this place just opened, I will give it a free pass and hopefully management will figure things out. They need to hire waitresses who are more attentive and who actually care about the customers. The kitchen staff needs to be better tranined on how to get the food out on time. I might give this place another try in a few months assuming it will still be open.

Service sucks, food is worse. Ordered pulled pork wrap- they brought out pulled pork sandwich. Sent it back. 20 mins later I got the wrap and it didn't even look like real pulled pork. Other person I was with got pulled pork nachos- same weird meat, looked like a 3 yr old made the nachos. He sent it back, waited 30 mins for his burger. Needless to say, we regretted our lunch decision today.

We've been wanting to check this place out since it opened but with all the bad reviews we hesitated. Today we finally decided to go and check it out. The place is really dark inside, clean but dark. The staff was really nice and attentive. The service was great. The place was sort of empty so maybe that's why but we had a good experience. The food was really good. I was actually surprised at how good it was. We had the spinach and artichoke dip and loved it. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and my husband had the Greek veggie wrap and both were very good. Overall, we're glad we tried it. We will go back for sure.

I tried again...six months later. I hoped they would improve after the growing pains of opening a new business. I was wrong. Our server was sweet but missed the mark. She kept forgetting stuff and I think just forgot about us. Our food took FOREVER and every one of us got wings except for one. Our server dropped a bunch of ketchup packets on our table and said they ran out of ketchup! Who runs out of ketchup on a busy Friday night. She eventually "found" an almost empty bottle. Then we went to pay (there were eight of us) and we wanted to split the check. She said she couldn't "split" the check in half because she had a woman complain about it last week. She got confused on who ordered what and then finally got approval to split the check. I was really hoping for a good neighborhood sports bar with good food but it's not happening here. Maybe just stick to the drinks. In response to David's comments: Thank you for your response. The food was decent. As I mentioned above, we all got wings except for one person. Pretty easy order except they messed up mine. I asked for the sauce on the wings and it was on the side. It then spilled all over my fries when the waitress brought out the wings. I asked her for more hot sauce but never received.

Absolutely terrible service and burnt fries twice. Wrong order for one of the patrons.

First time visitor. The service was excellent and the food was just as good. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. Would definitely go back to check out the rest of the menu.

First time here. The service was great. Seated promptly. Order taken fast but not rushed. Food came out quick and nicely prepared. Generous portions. Blackened chicken sandwich was really good. Very reasonable prices. Atmosphere was neat. Individual televisions at table was great. The high back booths make the seating more personal than a traditional sports bar. I will be back

Ever since I saw this place being built, I was eager to try it and after it opened I was bummed out by all the negative things I heard about it. I finally decided to try it myself and went with my fiance a couple nights ago. We went on a Sunday night to get a beer and a quick bite to eat. I got the buffalo chicken wrap and he got the thai chicken bites and we shared the coconut shrimp. I have to say that we had no complaints whatsoever with the taste of the food or the service. Maybe because they weren't busy but we both liked everything about the place and will be back to try again!

Today was my 2nd visit to Hoops and I had another pleasant experience. For under $10 I had a draft beer and a turkey bacon wrap that was a solid lunch deal and enjoyable. It was also awesome to be able to have fried plantains as my side. Bartender was very good and even got a manager visit. All in all a sports bar with good food and cheap 16oz drafts (1.95). PLENTY of tv's.

I have been watching Hoops being built out over the months with great anticipation. Went in for lunch on a Monday for a quick lunch. The place is nicely decorated with numerous T.V's and rich wood decor. Not a fan of the waitress uniforms. I ordered the Monday lunch special burger with fries. A different waitress brought my lunch out. The burger was really good but the fries looked like they were the last bits out of the bag. I have had better fries elsewhere. One big downside for me was the table size for the booth seating. They are too small and is not comfortable. The menus are shaped like a basketball.......awkward to view menu selections. The location isn't the greatest and parking is a bit awkward.

Great sports bar atmosphere, with very reasonable drafts. It stops there! They boast about the pizza but 7-11 has a better slice. Service is lost and poorly trained. Wait time for food - about 30 minutes in a restaurant that is half full. Frys came out room temperature and we're quickly replaced. Want salt and pepper, ask before your your food arrives or you'll be waiting on the server . . . We were so looking forward to this place opening in our neighborhood but what a disappointment. I suggest eating a sub across the street and coming here for the TVs & low priced domestic beer.

Yes, they have copious amounts of tvs and wifi but that's about where the positives end. I am in the industry and the service here is non-existent. Understandably this is a new establishment but you would think someone here has served in a restaurant before? Maybe not. Anyway, the food is tasteless so don't waste your time or money ordering anything. If you want a place to come and drink (when they aren't out of half of the beer they serve) by all means, knock yourself out. Otherwise, it's a waiting game until they go out of business. Fingers crossed. P.s. Haven't seen our waitress in 30 minutes...

Lipstick on a pig. Hopefully this place is just suffering growing pains. Two of us came in for a late lunch/drinks and left extremely disappointed. First, the liquor drinks are jigger poured with a clear emphasis on staying under their alcohol percentages. My buddy's gin and tonic was 9/10 tonic and 1/10 gin. The bartender, when we asked her about it, laughed and said it was only her 2nd day. I ordered a beer that was $2, which is obviously a great deal. Second, the food quality was poor. We ordered calamari, which was inedible. It was like bubble gum battered and fried in the richest batter you've ever eaten. The server didn't even take notice that we are about 1/3 of it and just took at away. While the domestic beer was a great deal, the liquor and craft beer was not. We paid $8 for a gin and tonic and $5 for the beer. Again, it's disheartening when you pay that much and only get a glass of tonic. The portions were also skewed. My buddy ordered a wrap with a side of cross cut fries. There is a $2.95 upcharge for the fries and he literally got 7 french fries. Seven. Basically it was about $.40 per fry. We asked the server why there were so few and she jus said the chef weighs then before and that's how they come. We asked if she thought it was ridiculous and she just smiled. Overall this place was a mess. The food was unsatisfactory, the service was poor and the experience itself was disappointing. Likely won't go back.

I joined a friend at Hoops today to watch Sunday Football. It started ok but drastically went down hill. I order the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer. My friend order wings and fries. The wings and fries arrived within 10 minutes. Unfortunately the appetizer did not. I placed my order for a veggie patty burger, the free throw with the upcharge of the waffle fries. Twenty minutes later, still no appetizer. I then stated that the appetizer could probably be cancelled since it may come with the entree. Of course it came with the entree. Upon reviewing my entree, I noticed that I did not receive the waffle fries. Informed the server. I then noticed that I had the incorrect veggie burger. It did not have the Brie, honey mustard nor grilled apples. I informed the server. She took the burger back and said they would redo it. The new burger arrived, this time without the honey mustard and again with the incorrect fries. I informed the server. She returned with a basket of sweet potato fries. I informed her that I ordered waffle fries. She then returned with a basket containing 5 waffle fries. I could tell she was also perplexed and she informed me that she told the kitchen to prepare another fry. At this time, approximately one hour has passed and I do not have my correct order. The check comes and I ask to speak with a a manager. She goes to speak with a female manager and returns saying the manager will take the burger off. I receive the check and the fry upcharge is still present and I ask for that to also be removed. It was, however the manager NEVER came to our table to address the service and delay of our order. It is quite upsetting that the manager never appeared even though she was requested by a patron. I received my new bill and tipped the server based on the unadjusted price because although all of these unfortunate incidents kept occurring, she remained polite and courteous. This is the 3rd establishment in this location in the last 4 years. With service like this, I do not expect Hoops to last.

Awesome bar, a ton of TV'S, must be over 100 with a huge screen almost surrounding the bar made up of multiple TV'S. Apparently these bars are allover Canada, however no Canadian beer selection. The menu is great, not your typical chain bar menu. The staff is great as well, our bartender Lindsay was great as well as what I believe was the manager Lauren, and of course the chef Joe. Will be bringing my friends by to check it out. Might be new the favorite sports bar, blows Duffys away.

I was told there are 137 tv's in the entire facility! There's basically a tv at every booth, which is cool. However, the waitresses seem clueless and all over the place. Waited 15 min to order food. They offered us no extra plates, no salt/pepper, & no ketchup. The food is fucking terrible! I could find frozen food that tastes better. The appearance of this restaurant is nice, clean, and modern but I wouldn't recommend eating here. Perhaps you can come here for drinks, not food.

This place is awesome! They have over 160+ TV's, great staff, friendly service, great environment! Ordered wings which were good, and can't wait to try out the rest of the menu as they have a wide verity of options. They have a great inside bar and outside as well. We sat outside and our bartender Stephanie was EXCELLENT! Hope they keep her working Friday afternoons and we will make it a regular Fridays hangout!

Wow 165 TVS. Never seen so much, lived up to my wild sports fantasy. The food was awesome, not like most chains as the majority of their food is made in house. Tons of options to choose from, and not to mention the cute wait staff. Would definitely go back when I'm in town.

Went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm for a quick lunch and some drinks. Place was almost empty with 2 guys sitting at the bar and maybe one other table occupied. Took about 10 minutes to get a server to come greet us and take our drink order. Plentyof waitresses but they all seemed to be hanging out at the bar talking to the 2 customers/friends. Ordered spinach dip and wings. Spinach dip came out in about 3 minutes you can tell it was microwaved with the burned crust edge on it and the taste was so awful we sent it back. Wings were ok but definitely not like Uncle Al's down the street. They do have really cold beer so that's a plus and they also have a ton of tv's. They really need to work on the menu, their burgers taste like meatballs. This place won't last.

Decent service, food came out room temperature at best. Took forever to get it. Asked for xtra napkins, never came. Lots of TV's to watch the game. I would come here again but not to eat.

What a place. Never been here before today, but after Jenny and the crew made me feel at home, important, and were so accommodating and kind in every aspect, I will frequent this bar. I look forward to coming here for the Super Bowl. The food is great, the ambience is incredible, the features are up to date and impressive, but above all, the service is paramount. Thank you, Hoops......be back soon....

TVS everywhere! Cold draft beers! And Jessy, Austin, & Lindsey were amazing! Very attentive !!!! Bar was busy but it you would have never noticed because you always got a drink when you were running low! Great atmosphere!

Just opened the decor is great for a sports bar, its of games and TV's all over. Best bet is a beer and sandwich. The food prices look ok until you get the portions which are small. Calamari is smaller than your pinky and there is more crumbles of deep fried batter than calamari. The salads are side salads not dinner portions. Sandwiches were ok and wings are ok, there are better in Davie. Overall an ok place for snack and beer but I wouldn't go back for a meal.

Ok.. So im not a person who conplains... I go to Hoops a few times a month. But let me just say... Today the worst service ever. Today is St. Patrick's Day so i was very indecisive about this place or another restaurant, I chose Hoops because my boyfriend like the wings. Well it took 30 minutes for us to get our drinks.... about almost an hour to get food and by the way... everyone got their food except me. The waitress didn't even put my food through and I also went there because they had the St Patrick's Day Special. So... Everyone got their food except me and I find out they don't even have my cabbage meal which made me livid. Smh... almost an hour later and they tell me that. I'm so fed up with the service and the drink and food time there.. The positive about this place is the Manager Julio. Very understanding. Very good manager. The bartender Lindsey also very nice and understanding. If this place was so busy there would be people out the door, I would understand but it wasn't. I have gone here a few times and it was a good experiment, today just makes me never want to go back.

Its a great local spot. Great atmosphere, drink prices are reasonable, chicken wings are good especially on half price night. However, the service is not up to par. I have been there several times because of its location being so close to home. The last visit the food came out in spurts and drinks were not flowing. However, my server Annie and the manager Elsie were trying to be helpful and offered free dessert for the kids. The staff is aware of the chaos at the bar and the kitchen. If this place gets their shit together it will be a great neighborhood spot.
