Dulcetto Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

After waiting about an hour for our brunch (we were the only ones there at the time might I add), our crepes were not crepes AT ALL. They folded over a big fluffy pancake and put some eggs and ham inside... I really can't believe that they presented that! The chocolate waffles were not even warm (possibly undercooked) and the sausage (was supposed to be bacon) was dried out. They did not have OJ (bummed that I missed out on my mimosa), and being next door to Publix I'm not sure why they couldn't get some...? We will not return and would unfortunately opt for the McDonalds drive-thru next time.

Very small inside restaurant. Went at 5:30 on a Saturday night. Was incredibly warm inside. Almost uncomfortable. Good menu with lots of choices. Sangria was made in house and was not good. Was tart, weak and didn't taste like sangria. Then I ordered the Riesling which was not sweet as expected. Tasted like Chardonnay. $7 salad appetizer was small and came with rotten lettuce. Had to return it. They were very nice about it and gave us a new one. The main courses came out very slowly. Waited for quite a while. The french fries were great and a good portion. The avocado turkey panini was dry and the avocado was not ripe. Almost hard. I removed it from the sandwich. The risotto was outstanding. Everyone at the table loved it and was everyone's favorite. The pizza was very good as well. Overall though was expensive and very disappointing.

The pizza is good, the gelato is better, but the service is simply awful. We live maybe a mile away from Dulcetto, and have eaten in twice and have picked up twice. I recommend using the take out option if at all possible. Pizza has always been good. Crisp bottom, cooked great, slightly charred, melty. The gelato is not-too-sweet and they have a great selection. The service, is awful. You can plan on waiting for a refill even if you're the only customers in the building. And the main waitress (I don't know her name, kim?) is just rude. We waited for gelato to-go for about 15 minutes, at the counter. There was one family outside, and one guy at the bar on his laptop. I mentioned to my boyfriend how rude she ALWAYS is, and apparently the guy sitting at the bar on his laptop was the owner, because we heard him tell her she needs to smile more (and he talked to the other server about payroll).. It took 10 minutes after this and the owner didn't help us either. If you're in the area and want pizza, get take out, or just be prepared.

Highs and lows. They made me an off-menu eggplant parm sandwich on request which was pretty good with flavorful eggplant and perfect bread. Service was a bit slow but not bad. The fries arrived at the table cold. If stuck at this exit again, I might try this place again.

Where can I start?? How about, they never showed up with our order and they charged our credit card! Wow! Horrible. They first said 30 min wait, after 1 1/2 hours we called said they would be there in 5 min it has now been 2 1/2+ hours and they will not answer the phone. Unacceptable . Horrible. Who does this!!??

I was recommended by a pressure washing service technician that works for our company. They do service work for the restaurant, and they frequently eat there. I made the 30 minute drive from Orlando and I'm glad I did. The pizza was great, fresh ingredients, cooked properly, friendly staff. I'll be sure to stop in every often and pass the word to the other sales people that work close to that area.

Since were JUST coming off of the highway and had to wait on our room, we came to the first place we saw. Delcetto is nothing spectacular. Wine bottles add a splash of elegance amongst a modern decor, but it's all crammed into a small building. Outside seating is available as well as WiFi, but if there are 2 or more people who have to use the bathroom, one of those persons is out of luck. One toilet per bathroom folks....sorry! Don't get me started on cleanliness!!! Flies were EVERYWHERE!!! As I tried to eat using my right hand, i fanned away flies with my left. I've never seen flies this fast!!! It seems as though as soon as I would stop fanning...several spastic flies would come swooping in, spiraling wing deep into my food. Smh....it wasn't good anyway. I ordered shrimp Alfredo with spinach and an additional side of shrimp. When I received my order all of my shrimp were cut in half. I ordered TWO orders but received HALF of ONE order. Great. Overall, this cramped establishment is not worth the trip...even if it IS in walking distance of your hotel.

We try this restaurant every now and then (close proximity to home) Unfortunately, it never seems to improve and the value for your dollar is not good. Consistency seems to be the main issue - in both the food quality and the professionalism and training of the staff. It's sad because we are so short on restaurants in the area!

Absolutely terrible food. On one occasion I order a tortellini soup and the mahi sandwich to go. Upon getting home, I realized they had given me lobster bisque, and my sandwich was dry, small, and for what I paid for it....disgraceful. Today was the last time I will ever give the place a chance. I paid $13 for "carbonara" that looked as if it were portioned for a small child. It was literally only bacon and pasta, not like a traditional carbonara that has peas, bacon or ham, onions, and mushrooms. It looked horrendous and tasted even worse. Had two bites and threw it out. Bottom line - overpriced, horrible food. Spend your money elsewhere.

Came in because it was close to Omni Hotel and we were hungry for "informal" pizza- which means we didn't want room service and we didn't feel like eating at the excellent restaurants at the hotel. We read the yelp reviews but thought "how bad could it be?" Well the reviews were right on. Terrible service (nice server just never saw her after we ordered). We had garlic bread $8 really? And they charge extra for cheese- not a value- the equivalent of a sub roll bread-wise to split between three people (did I mention it was 8 dollars?) tasted ok but suspicious it was warmed up in the microwave. We had mozerella sticks- tasted like frozen from Sysco or whatever service they use- Again just ok. Finally we had a pepperoni pizza which only comes in 1 size 12" not enough for three which is why we ordered the other stuff. Once again it was just ok. On the bland side crust had real potential but they hadn't cleaned their baker's pride oven in a while so there were charred bits clinging on the pizza. It was just ok. So to sum it up- take a pass on this place. We won't be back. To the people sitting next to us we hope you get your order soon- we had finished and paid and they still had not gotten their food...

Well, we walked in and sat down, the bartender brought us menus, but our server didn't show up for at least 10 minutes, at which point we were ready to order. Jayson took our order. After about 30 minutes of waiting with absolutely no information or acknowledgement, he told us that we were just waiting on one more thing. About ten minutes later, we saw Jayson walk out the front door without saying a word. After almost an hour we finally got our food. Our pizza was overcooked and tasted about as good as a frozen pizza from the grocery store. After approaching Jayson when our plates were empty, he gave us as many excuses as he could think of as to why it took so long. Jayson took off $2 from our meal, as if it was to fix the issues that we had. We will never return, and have already advised others to avoid this restaurant.

I don't even know where to begin! Between not having a driver on a Saturday to deliver to taking an hour to make a fairly decent sized order. Here's a hint get PREPARED, you're running a business. The food was a 2.5 out of 10, it wasn't that it was gross it was just prepared horribly If I didn't want to enjoy some drinks with friends I would have back to the restaurant and thrown the chicken parm sandwich in whoever's face that made it. The had the audacity to put it on a hamburger bun. Are you kidding me, either they ran out of hoagie rolls or they don't care. The worst part they didn't tell us Your meatballs are terrible, open a cookbook and learn how to make them homemade. Your store bought meatballs are a disgrace Like other reviewers stated price to value is horrendous, the funny thing is I don't care what I spend I just want a good meal. NOT EVEN CLOSE, I was embarrassed when I brought the food back to the hotel I hope the owner reads this and corrects the missteps before a real pizzeria opens and puts him out of business. SMH

I'm usually better about reading reviews before I go somewhere but this was on the way home so we stopped in and ordered a pizza. It wasn't good...The crust was burned and chewy. We had to use ranch to try and soften it up to be able to eat it. We won't be getting pizza from here again. Hopefully their other food is better.

  • Todd W.

Absolutely pathetic. Bar service was done but the kitchen took 45 min for a sandwich. Watched another couple get their pizza, send it back and wait another 45 min for the replacement pizza. Don't bother. Go to Publix next door.

Stopped there for a quick lunch. The place was very nasty and there were spider webs all in the window seals. The waiter was very soft spoken and didn't move quit so fast. I order the flat bread pizza. It was burnt on the bottom and it was not that tasty. Also, my cheese was burnt on the top of the pizza. Would not recommend for anyone...

The choices are limited when staying in championsgate so short of fast food, this is one of the only options. I've been here a handful of times and every time I waited for a long time at the hands of extremely smug and indignant waiters. The food has always been "just ok" but even "just okay" beats my alternative of either subway or the Golden Arches. Once on a trip, my wife and I ordered a large dinner we intended to bring back to our hotel, and my young daughter wanted McDonald's. I walked over (just across the parking lot)to get her happy meal and was told she couldn't eat it on the patio and she would have to eat it elsewhere. You want my five year old to grab a table by herself elsewhere while we eat your food alone? The pies aren't cheap and now we weren't welcome anymore? Keep your pie! Fortunately the offered us a solution. We could eat on the other side of the building, at the last table, next to an overflowing trashcan. It's only busy due to lack of options. If you are in championsgate you are going to have to eat here unfortunately unless you want fast food, just be prepared.

When stetted the tables were wet and had to call the waitress so that she could clean it and also we order for pepsi they brought us diet pepsi then we had to wait for the correct drinks and we also order some bruschetta and at the same time we order our food we waited like 45 min for the appetizer never came they brought us the entree and after we were eating the appetizer came at the end waitress don't do a proper service

Ducellto's looked like a quaint little restaurant when my party of four first arrived. We had just escaped from a long weekend at Disney World and we were looking for a normal restaurant for a change. Unfortunately, Ducellto's was a disappointment, but the whole experience was also unusual for an established restaurant that presumably is trying to make a profit. We all ordered omelets, but despite being the only people there, our food took an absurdly long time to come out. After the long wait I was expecting a masterpiece, but what I received looked like a child's first attempt at making an omelette--burnt brown on the outside, gelatinous on the inside, bizarrely shaped, and clearly scraped from the pan with much difficulty. The spinach filling was not sauteed spinach, but simply a handful of raw spinach tossed in before the 'chef' attempted to close the omelet. Everyone's omelet was a different size. I'm fairly certain I had about 7 eggs in mine, while my gluttonous brother only had about 2 and a half. This infuriated him, which both amused and pleased me. But this small pleasure soon faded when I realized we all just waited for over forty five minutes for an aspiring chef to learn how to make an omelet by trial and error. It was fairly obvious that the chef spent the first thirty minutes trying to make a proper omelet, but eventually gave up after failing at the critical flip stage and then just decided to go with the rookie's safety method of burning the eggs all the way through without a flip and then scraping the concoction from a pan that wasn't properly greased. It completely blows my mind that a chef at a restaurant --one that holds itself out as classy--does not know how to prepare one of the most basic dishes known to man. The atmosphere and decor made it abundantly clear that this was the first restaurant the owner ever opened. Perhaps the pet project of a wealthy divorcee or housewife. It was elegantly designed for a strip mall slot directly behind a McDonald's off the interstate. Expensive champagne bottles adorned book shelves, artsy lighting fixtures illuminated pier one nick knacks, and one tiny plasma tv was hung high enough to remind anyone trying to watch a game that this was not the place for them. The staff's lackadaisical attitude made it very apparent there was no one at the helm of this business, and if there was, they rarely dropped by. Word clearly spread that this was a great place to work, and I wouldn't be surprised if the chef was really a 14 year old bagboy from the Publix next door who was fired for his incompetency and then dropped off a fabricated resume at Ducellot's on the way home. Normally a business like this would have closed its doors long ago and declared bankruptcy. But Dulcetto's existence is an anomaly of capitalism. It only survives because it is on the cusp of the perfect storm. It's right on the edge of over-commercialized central Florida, right where the vast expanses of Disney world end and cow pastures that stretch clear to Plant city begin. Only commercial giants like Publix, McDonald's and subway dare to set up shop here. No business savvy proprietor would challenge all-mighty Disney's market share at close range. Only a stubborn and prideful hobbyist with no skin in the game would keep something so senseless and poorly run serving food to the public. It's almost a practical joke that isn't funny and wastes your time. What is the point of adoring a restaurant with dom perignon bottles and then hiring a chef that does not know how to make a f*cking omlete? Unfortunately, if you're desperately trying to get away from Disney and eat at a normal place, Ducellot's is all you have. The reason for the uninspiring staff is pretty simple: the only people that live out here are in the over priced complex on the edge of Disney and anyone with a hospitality resume of any merit probably works at Disney. Of course, if you need a job in the food industry but have a terrible work history, Disney is going to figure that out. It's the perfect paradox of the world's best run business next to the world's worst run business. Ducellto's: home of the hospitality industry's bottom percentile. Do not come here without low expectations and at least a five hundred piece puzzle.

Service was fast and courteous. Pizza, which is why you go here, was just ok. Pizza just came out of oven and the crust was tough to chew...kind of like cardboard.

    (3)
  • Jon S.

Do not go. Food was horrible. Service the same. 3 people working a full restaurant but only one poor kid doing all the work. The manager and lady suppose to help were behind the bar talking with one group of people who got impeccable service while the rest of the restaurant was left to wait. Food took forever to come out, apps were not received until 40 min into dinner and it was the wrong app. Dinner was horrible. We will not be going back.

  • Eric P.

Not worth your time or money. I wanted to try the takeout since there are not a lot of places to choose from in ChampionsGate. I ordered the chicken parmesan and fettuccine carbanarra. So, we sat at the bar and had a drink and waited. There was 2 tables in the place and 1 outside, so the wait would be minimal. 45 minutes later, I finally asked the waitress to find out why 2 easily prepared dinners were taking so long. The dinners came out about 2-3 minutes later and they were awful. I had 1 piece of chicken with tons of oregano. The linguini was way over cooked and skinny?!? Even worse was a bland fettuccine carbanaro. It was missing taste?!? So, if you were thinking of trying Dulcetto, don't bother and waste your time.

Sooo.. Seating here still.. Waiting for out food.. Watching other customers that were seated after us getting their food before us... Waitress then comes to us and asks us what did we order..???? This place is perfect if you want to spend a day here and waste away... And this place is infested with flies...!! But least us swatting flies helped the time pass waiting for our 1 pizza....

  • Rob K.

Save yourself some time and pass on Dulcetto. Limited options in the area so we thought we'd do something local instead of wait for what we knew would be a subpar meal at neighboring Chili's. Place was very busy on a Saturday night and they had one waiter. Poor kid. Started off good until we sat down. Slow to take our order. No ice for the drinks. No silverware. My son ordered the chicken tenders and they came out about 30 minutes later burnt to a crisp. So burnt that my daughter (3) asked why her brother's chicken was black. I seriously couldn't believe anyone in their kitchen would let that leave the kitchen. The waiter tried his best at playing ignorant and offered to make another plate. By this time, the rest of us have finished our meal (salads, which were decent). The second batch of chicken tenders came out worse than the first. Total fail. I told the poor kid to forget it and take it off the check, which he did and then some. He comped our drinks and my daughter's pizza. The pizzas at the table next to us looked great. Too bad I'll never find out since I'll never be back.

    (2)
  • Robert W M.

Well....we hit it on a good night. Service was decent, attentive. Salads took a bit of time but were very good. Pizza was above average, good crust, tasty. Gelato was very good as was the cappuccino. Deserves a second visit.

  • Nick L.

Bad service: Let the staff know we were going to sit outside "ok, we'll be with you in a minute". Waited there 20 minutes before a waiter passed. We got his attention and he was clearly inconvenienced by us being there. He had attitude and didn't offer drinks or menus, so we left. Place had potential but the wait and bad attitude killed it for us.

    (1)
  • Angie V.

Service was terrible and they weren't even busy.... I ordered a meatball sub and they waited 30 mins after to tell me they were out of meatballs!!! And they didn't offer to comp anything--with an order for my family of 7 you would think they could at least give us a free soda! NEVER AGAIN!!

    (1)
  • Christopher B.

Didn't have half the items on the menu. Pizza took forever, 2 where the only ones in the restaurant. Roommates pizza had vs much only on it the USA wanted to invade it. Poor quality product for the money. Take my advice eat somewhere else.

  • Nicolette F.

Awful service. Took an hour and a half to get entrees and we never even received our appetizer. Then the waitress fought with us on getting our appetizer because she wouldn't take it off the bill. We had to pay for food we didn't even get!! It was the only place open besides McDonald's but I honestly wish we had gone there instead.

  • Kelly M.

Our family loved the pizza so much we had to eat there twice on our vacation! Kids were treated to Gelato with their meal. My youngest loved the burger with a fried egg on top. Salads were fresh as can be and made a nice accompaniment to the pizza. Crispy thin crust and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Service was a bit slow the first night. Second night perfect so I think that varies. Must be a local favorite because giant boxes of pizza we're being taken out each night we where there.

Living only a mile away, we often pass by Dulcetto's and decided to give it a try last week. The place is tiny with fifty percent of the diners eating outside. We opted to stay inside but with the huge swarms of flies infestng the place, we probably should have dined al fresco. The flies were so bad that the family behind us asked to have their pizza put in a box and we later saw them eating off the back of their car in the parkong lot. The service was so-so. Definitely not worth a large tip. The only saving grace of this visit was the food itself. I got the jumbo shrimp and basil flatbread. This crispy 12 inch pizza was one of the best I have had despite the overdone crust. It tasted exactly how I always imagined real Italian pizza would taste in the mother country. My husband had the La Carne flatbread which was topped with a nice array of meats. Again, it was delicious. Upon leaving, we decided that in the future we will just order takeout to avoid the flies and the indifferent service. But after reading some of the takeout horror stories from other reviews of this establishment, we might give it a miss altogether.

Prices here are stupid low on entrées the pizza is a little more in line. Great flavours in all of their dishes. And s nice little neighborhood spot. Certainly not fine dining, but great given the parameters of what this place is intended to be

After a long flight from Phoenix to Orlando, we were looking for a place to eat after shopping at a nearby Walgreens. We saw this place from the Walgreens parking lot and decided to give it a try. It was later in the evening, around 9 pm. We were happy to find it open. After browsing the menu, we decided to order: Carne Pizza (Pepperoni, Bacon, Ham, Proscuitto), $16 yelp.com/biz_photos/dulc… Sausage, Pepperoni, Jalapeno Pizza, $13 yelp.com/biz_photos/dulc… yelp.com/biz_photos/dulc… The Pizza was disappointing....the Crust was too dry and "chalky", it lacked flavor. The Sausage wasn't very good and the Jalapenos weren't crisp and was too "pickly". I love Pizza and because we were starving, we ate most of it. However, I wouldn't come back again for the Pizza. We gave it a shot, perhaps next time I'll try a Sandwich instead? Return Factor - 15%

Had the BBQ Chicken flatbread. It was awesome. It costs less than $9! I was shocked. Only male waitstaff tonight, so maybe the rude girl is gone. I would def come here again. Wish I woulda taken a pic. Maybe next time.

Save your time. It took us 20 minutes to get service. Drinks took another 20 minutes. No refills. Ordered food and had time to go smoke a cigarette at the car, go into publix and shop, came back over and still no refills or food. Waitress never apologized, no discount was given. My order was messed up again for the second time out of the two times I've visited since April.

I truly wish I could give this place more stars, as they are one of the few mom and pop restaurant options in the Champions Gate area. But they BARELY deserve two. I can not stress how important it is to have attentive wait staff in a restaurant. The wait staff is, after all, a restaurants first line of contact with the diner. This place has none. I could list the numerous instances of unprofessional behavior I observed while briefly dining with a friend - a grumpy hostess/ assistant manager who looked like she was constipated with a grimace on her face the moment we entered, a fumbling behind the bar server who never once smiled and apparently had a cold, coughed repeatedly into his hands, then handled customer glasses to prepare beverages and another server who carried on an obnoxiously loud conversation with what seemed to be an old high school mate at the bar... the ENTIRE time we dined. I now know way to much about her personal life than I care to. There were some small slivers of positive in this little place. The pizzas were good and not overpriced - I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza (thin crust) and my dinner mate ordered a thin crust supreme. So... good job on the food. But you should never see dining tables covered with empty serving plates and glasses from previous guests (some diners had to sit at dirty tables and wait for them to be cleaned upwards of 10 minutes and the place was NOT busy), you should never have to ask for a menu or silverware and you should never have to thrice remind your server to refill your drinks. Very unprofessional and disappointing. At best, I would recommend ordering "to go", but avoid the constipated frowny faced "hostess". She should be demoted to "head table cleaner"...

Liam was fantastic! I had a light but filling special today. The blackened Mahi with citrus shrimp salad! My boyfriend had the Bolognese and declared it better than his home made recipe... Guys, he's a pasta snob and a chef. We had 3 meals and totaled $45. Also their freshly squeezed OJ is fantastic! We were seated imedeately, greeted warmly, given the daily special, given refills promptly and asked often (without being stalkish or pushy) if we needed anything. At one point one of our napkin holders flew away and Liam did the walk and scoop to pick it up. I wonder if he worked at Disney at some point ;) as we were leaving a customer came up with her puppy (we were sitting outside) and he brought her a cup of water and a drinking bowl for the puppy... So doggy friendly too! I'd give it a sixth star for their music not being obnoxious ;) nice, laid back, loungy feel.

Ate lunch on a slower Monday during shoulder tourist season. Had flatbread with sauce, cheese, mushroom, onion and sausage. Thin, crisp and delicious for $8. Also had a generous side of fresh sautéed spinach and garlic for $3. Lastly, had scoop of chocolate and cappuccino gelato for $3.50. Servers Alexia and Jesse were friendly, helpful and attentive. Perhaps the restaurant isn't as good during the rush of tourist season, but my experience was excellent.

Great little spot. It's a very limited menu, but this place does bread to perfection! The pizza crust has that perfect "snap" when you bite into it. The same goes for their bruschetta and their paninis. This is a small little gem that takes great pride in their menu.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and wanted to try something new. We started with the toasted ravioli. Their marinara sauce was very flavorful. I had a salad and a side of risotto. The salad was good but the risotto could have used a touch more flavor. My husband had the special which was blacken shrimp tortellini. Although the shrimp wasn't very blackened, he said it was great. The Alfredo was amazing he said. Service was good. All in all I think we will be back.

We are visiting from out of town and service was 50/50. Although we wanted to have a good experience, we were better off flipping a coin from the moment we asked for a table. When we asked for two more sets of silverware I had to get then myself. They asked if we wanted to move tables yet never wiped down the table as they were going to. Food was good (mahi, salad, flat bread with chicken), but I hope they read this and improve their service as this could become a favorite fast. It's the little things ;)

We waited over an hour for our to go order and got our order only because my husband was going to demand for a refund. We ordered a personal pizza, a salad and garlic bread. Then we get to our hotel to find the garlic bread hard and nearly cold with just butter and our pizza was made wrong. I would never return to this place or recommend this place to anyone. The only thing that was good was the salad.

My husband and I live in the area and we have always wanted to try this restaurant. Tonight we ordered a pizza from them and we were not happy. The first thing that got us upset was they said they didn't have change for a $10. What restaurant doesn't have change on a Friday night? The second thing is they over charged us for the pizza. $25.00 for a 16 inch pizza!!! Finally when we got home the pizza looked like it was made by a kid. The pizza was so thin and the crust was over done. The toppings were not evenly distributed (four pieces of pepperoni and a piece of so called sausage in one spot) Overall we wish we could get our money back. This was our first and last time we will be going there.

Highly disappointed. Me and my boyfriend were on our way to orlando and decided to find somewhere to eat. And I thought this place looked nice but I should've stuck with the reviews. For how nice the place looks you would've expected better food. We ordered a pizza as an appetizer and thank gosh we did because the rest of our food was gross! The pizza we had, had mushrooms chicken and goat cheese on it and it was delicious. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and let me just say every where I go I order that because I always want to try it and this place was the worst I've ever had it. I took only a few bites and couldn't eat anymore. My boyfriend had the turkey panini with brie and pear and he said it was gross too. It wasn't even a panini it was more like a toasted sandwich because it had that texas like sand which bread. Then we decided to try the dessert. Tiramisu which wasn't horrible but wasn't that good either. They also have gelato and we tried the Nutella gelato but tasted terrible, it tasted nothing like Nutella. So my advice if you eat here stick to the pizza and that's it !

We had visited Dulcetto's in the past and decided to try it again over a chain restaurant. Big mistake! Service was at a snail's pace and the servers were not very good at updating us with the progress of our order. Yeah it was a little busy when we arrived but even after over half the customers had cleared out we still waited more than an hour for our main course without any apologies or even a drink refill. Horrible service, inattentive wait staff, food was okay but I will never visit again. I hope they get the picture and improve on this.

Wow! Really surprised to see Dulcetto has only a 3 star rating. I have been close to 10 times and have visited for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've really only had one bad experience on a busy night where service was very very slow. I think this restaurant could benefit from a bigger staff, but the food is always excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you're in the area I definitely recommend visiting Dulcetto!

Frozen Pizza is better. 2 other times we sat down and the place was empty and we still could not get service after 20 mins we got up and left. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

On our way from Orlando to Sebring, we stopped here because we didn't want fast food. Great decision! The food and service was amazing and the gelato was great! I had the fettuccini Alfredo with bacon, mushrooms, and Carmelites onions and it was the best meal I have had while we have been on vacation. Highly recommend!

Great pizza and food in general. Had a conference ate Omni and had lunch there. Liam was our server and did a great job. Ordered dinner to go that night and it was great. Ended up there the next day for lunch as well and Liam was working again and remembered us from the previous day. Suggested the lunch special calzone so we went for it. This should be a regular menu item! Keep up the good work Liam!!

This restaurant is a convenient stop off the Champions Gate exit in Orlando, FL. There is a Publix and gas station in the same complex as Dulcetto. It was great to stop here for lunch while heading to south Florida. We were the only customers in the place but it was about 2pm. They offer bar and table seating - although the place isn't that big. It's decorated nicely and is clean. Good and quick service. The pizza was okay - not the best I've had and certainly not the worst. But, it was far better than the alternative whopper from Burger King! If this were located in my neighborhood I'd probably not be a regular. It more than exceed my "on the road" expectations!

Food was very good but service in a half empty place was horrendous. I wasn't given cheese for the pasta, offered red peppers, other tables were, no one checked back, very very slow, and when I wanted to leave couldn't find anyone to take a check unless I walked to the counter. Seemed like there were ppl that were regulars, they were served. I was inside, but for the life of me can't figure o,it why it was so much trouble. Kudos to the cook, favors good.

Staying at the Reunion resort, we decided to drop in on Chili's but the line was out the door, so we cruised over to Dulcetto. We had the fried calamari, the wings (special) and a margherita pizza. My daughter had the kids pasta (it was pretty small). The rest was great. Service was great. I noticed a few other tables waiting for food - seems like the kitchen is slow with entrees but appetizers and pizzas came out just fine. This place is small but pretty nice overall.

We tried Dulcetto on our last night in town, thinking it would be a quick and good dinner. WRONG!!! After trying to navigate their awful website to get a full menu, we ended up finding a PDF from 2011 that wasn't accurate. I ordered the tomato Napoli (which based the description is like a caprese salad, although it's nothing like it) smoked Gouda and prosciutto panini, my husband got the Blanche pizza, and my son got the bambino pizza (highlight of the meal if you can call it that). I was told my food would be ready in 25-30 minutes. Arriving 35 minutes after I initially called I'm told another 5-6 minutes. While waiting another couple came in and were told carry out would be 15-20. At this point I had been waiting in the store 15 minutes so I asked if my food would be ready soon as it was almost an hour after I called. My food had just been sitting back in the kitchen getting cold. Get home and there are two chunks of "prosciutto" and no gouda at all. I called them to tell them this was not acceptable and was told they'd call me back in a half hour (this was two days ago and still no call) and maybe they would bring me the cash for my sandwich. Bottom line, food sucks, service is horrendous and staff is rude! Save your time and money and head to McDonalds!

I have to say that I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant. It was about the worst service I have ever received. It took us 1 hour to get food for breakfast and there was only one person working. We never received the food we ordered and there was no apology or work made to help the experience any better. People sat for 15-20 minutes before getting water. Additionally, my husband ordered a croissant and only fruit with juice as a combination entree and never received his juice after asking and I never received the food I ordered. At this point we are headed now to get food and at least be treated as a customer. I doubt this place will be open in 3 months. Don't waste your time or money. Such a shame. It needs new ownership or new workers.

Living in the Champions Gate area, you either go to Chilis or McDonald's to eat. Dulcetto is a welcome addition to break up the monotony. I love grabbing a glass of wine, my fiance has a beer, we sit outside (yes the view is a parking lot but still).... it's nice. The servers Margarita, Michael(?) and Lisa are lovely. This is where the nice review stops. First, let me start off my saying we have been going to Dulcetto since it opened so we have seen the course this "restaurant" has taken. They went from having a great menu, to cutting that in half, to cutting that down 75%. The existing menu now has less items than most "late night" bar menus have. The cooks are ALWAYS outside smoking and it is so gross. Oh! They also got rid of their free Wifi. I have to eat gluten-free so guess what? The only things I can have on their menu are three small salads. They don't even have a STEAK option anymore! It is the saddest little menu you will ever see and still VERY VERY overpriced. My fiance and I only go there to drink now but we choose Chilis most of the time because it's 2 for 1 :) One time I walked in at 10:30 (closing time is 11) and one of the servers said "sorry we're closed." I looked at my watch, told her what time it was and she said "Yeah well no one has come in to eat in over 30 minutes so we decided to close and the cooks left." Yeah, ok! One more thing..... just pray you never run into the manager, Benjamin. This guy thinks he is God's gift to everyone on this entire earth and thinks his crap doesn't stink. He is much more interested in playing rico sauve than he is at actually running this place and making it a success. He literally, I mean literally, makes my skin crawl with his stupid smirk and the way he "pretends" to care. I hope the owner of the restaurant reads this because they need to let him go and bring in a professional, not some "pretty boy" that thinks running a restaurant is all fun and games. If you can avoid this place, do so. Drive a few extra minutes to find something else.

Walking distance from the Omni hotel. Good food. Sidewalk seating in the shopping complex. I had the angel hair pasta with shrimp (light and tasty). Bro had one of the pizzas. "Individual" size, but easily shared by 2. Unique options for the pizza + build your own. Mom got meatballs with pasta... the meatballs looked good... she didn't share, so I assume she like them. ;)

Positives Great décor with friendly servers and great locally brewed drafts Opportunities Downtown pricing in a rural area, pretentious menu with falsehoods that you need to be aware of such as an expensive Long Island Iced Tea or Bloody Mary all made with low strength grain alcohol, they only have a beer & wine license Another example of menu description that overpromise but unfortunately under deliver, when they state goat cheese it's a creamy goat cheese you expect at a cheap sub shop not s true blue cheese. I guess if you're on a expense account you may put up with it but on our three recent visit you don't see any returning locals.

Pros 1. Very clean comfortable environment. We met family from Tampa here and the first impression you get is very positive. This place is clean and organized - no complaints there. 2. Overall quality of the food is above average and the presentation is just as good. The salmon flatbread was quite good and the chocolate cake deserts were the highlights. 3. The service will show up as both a pro and a con here. On the positive side, we were catching up with family we rarely see and were taking our time ordering and stayed for coffee to chat after our meal. At no time were we ever rushed or made to feel like it was time to go, which was appreciated. Cons 1. The food is not quite as it shows on the menu. For instance, I ordered the Pasta Bolognese - which came out as marinara with a little meat mixed in over angel hair. While what came out was not objectionable, it was far from what I expected. The pizza my wife ordered was very greasy and skimpy on the toppings. 2. Considering the hit or miss nature of the 8 total items we ordered I would consider Dulcetto to be overpriced. $12 for the Bolognese dish described above is not worth it. You could do better at a chain. Likewise for the wine list which is limited and also overpriced. 3. Service again, was both a pro and a con. Our appetizer order was put in incorrectly, which was ok- we are not picky and ate what they brought anyway. We had to flag down the server (who was new, in all fairness but still) EVERY time we wanted wine or refills on water glasses. It was not overwhelmingly busy and empty glasses are irritating. Summary This is a 2 star rating for me based on inflated prices for food that could be found many other places, combined with the average service. That being said, it was by far not the worst restaurant experience we've ever had. I wouldn't necessarily tell anyone NOT to go here, but there are better options in the Celebration/ Orlando area.

A business that opened recently in the Champions Gate area. Another very welcome addition to the area. The atmosphere is cozy and pretty comfortable. We've sat at the bar both times we have been there and it's been pleasant. The service is nice, if sometimes a bit disorganized. It's obvious it's a small restaurant with some family members working. I find that encouraging and am willing to deal with things like two people asking how things are within a few minutes of each other. It's part of the charm of a small restaurant and honestly it shows they care. The menu offers a wide variety of items from pizza, sandwiches, pasta, and other items. You should be able to find something that interests you, and there are some adventurous items available considering the area. Proper pasta carbonara isn't 'adventurous' but good luck finding a place that serves it within 15 miles of this spot. You can tell the management put some effort into getting some good beers available. When I visited they had Orlando Brewing on tap, and Terrapin Hopsecutioner bottled. As far as quality of food goes, I think it really hits the mark. I have had pasta, pizza, flatbreads, and a baked brie appetizer and have been impressed with each dish.

This little restaurant is down the street from Champions Gate making it convenient for a quick stop on the way home from work. Having just eaten there last night, I can definitely give it a thumbs up. I had the chicken parmesan, which I often don't try in other places (mom's is the best) and it was very good. The chicken was breaded and fried golden brown and the marinara sauce was nice and tasty with chunks of tomato. The whole thing was served on a bed of angel hair pasta (not my favorite), but it was good. I also had a glass of Riesling and it was very crisp and cold. I dined with my folks who had the smaller portion of fettucine alfredo and a serving of spaghetti and meatballs. My dad loved the meatballs and he is super hard to please. My mom said the fettucine sauce was delicious. My only issue was no bread. When the meals came and asked about bread the waitress told me they had breadsticks which would take about 10 minutes to prepare (I'm assuming they cook them when ordered). It's hard for me to get behind an Italian place without some bread on the table. But the owner is very nice, as is the wait staff and they're trying. I'll be interested in head back in a month or so and try something different. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Davenport or traveling west on I-4, especially if you're over the chains.

This will not be a long review as my stay at this restaurant was brief. My wife and my family went last night after a movie and got there about 8:30. The restaurant was fairly busy and the flatbreads looked excellent (as did the Tiramisu in the case) neither of which I got to try but more on that below. We found a 4 top which regrettably had only 3 chairs and were told that someone will get us a chair "in a minute". When no one returned I went and got one myself (while a server watched I might add) and sat down. About 10 minutes later we got menus and about 10 minutes after that a server came over and said "you can order if you like but any order will take 45 minutes to an hour and with the kids I thought you might not want to wait." First, I have to be clear that the server was very thoughtful and I appreciate the good sense in at least sharing with us that if we were expecting even marginally reasonable service, this would not be the night. My issue is with the sort of management that would permit a restaurant on what should be a predictably busy night to be grossly understaffed (only two people were visible for the whole time we were there) and more to the point that could not manage a flat bread or a past in less than an hour. I imagine the food might be good but I will never know. If you have anything better to do with your time than sit around a restaurant for an hour to get a pizza, neither will you.

Their pizza was actually really good. The wait was super long, and you can tell that staff avoided you or making eye contact the whole time we waited for the food to arrive. I wish they had tried to accommodate us better especially seeing a toddler, bring his little kids meal first... And don't just avoid us all together. They missed the salad we ordered and did not bring over the gelato that came with the kids meal. We waited probably more than 30 minutes while seated. After we were finally served, suddenly the waitress was around and checked in every now and then to see how we are doing. I mean before then, every time we tried to get her or anyones attention, it was like, i will be right there, or, i will let your waitress know, and they would just rush through us. I am getting angrier writing this review because the more i think about it, the more annoyed i am remembering that night. The only reason i am giving it a 3 star is because i told myself not to ever rate someone below 4 stars because i know how hard it is to own a business and how important it is to say good things about a place to help them... But i do hope this review will help this business do better as far as customer service all together.

Given we were staying in Davenport we decided to give this a try. I had the shrimp pasta, my wife had the rib eye, and our daughter had the pasta with meat sauce. My pasta needed a bit more oomph, the rib eye could use the same and was a decent thin cut, but the pasta with meat sauce was good. We sat outside as the inside seating area is rather limited. I'd go back and try the pizza next time.

Unclear why this quaint shopping mall cafe remains as busy, given its longstanding reputation for disorganized service, delays with partial orders, and only adequate to poor food quality for the price. Perhaps it's the lack of compelling competition in this neighborhood. Spouse and I sat outside for a late lunch, good service but only two tables occupied. Pasta Bolognese more like Carbonera, skimped on pork and beef meat in sauce. Turkey and Brie Panini bland, again skimped on ingredients. Last night, ordered take out for son and his teenaged family. Margarita and Champions Gate Pizza dry with hard crust. Clearly pizza had been done and heating for a while (we were on time to pick up) but the rest of order was not ready for another ten minutes...Caesar salad, calamari, and soup. The place was swamped with eager patrons at all the tables and bar. Staffing overwhelmed. It took the pleasant owner to sort us out. Another patron waiting to pick up remarked..."the service is always incredibly slow...so we pick up." Well, good luck.

First time I have ever walked out of a restaurant. There were only two other families seated when we walked in and one couple was picking up. We seated ourselves and it took about 5 minutes for the waitress to come by and take our drink order. Then it took another 20 minutes for the waitress to come back and take our food order. Note that we were waving our hands and saying "excuse me" and "hello" each time she walked past us - she was completely oblivious. My husband had to stand up and walk up to her and say we were ready - we still had to wait 5 minutes after that. We finally placed our order and then 30-40 minutes later a different waitress came to the table to tell us that they messed up one of our two pizzas and were preparing a new one. They didn't even bring out the pizza that was supposedly okay. After a couple of minutes we just stood up, told the waitress we were leaving and walked out. All she said was "okay". We will NEVER EVER EVER go there again! I would only recommend this place to people who like to get ignored.

Horrible. Plenty of flies buzzing around in the air to entertain us during our long wait. No way I'm going back.

Well....we hit it on a good night. Service was decent, attentive. Salads took a bit of time but were very good. Pizza was above average, good crust, tasty. Gelato was very good as was the cappuccino. Deserves a second visit.

Service was terrible and they weren't even busy.... I ordered a meatball sub and they waited 30 mins after to tell me they were out of meatballs!!! And they didn't offer to comp anything--with an order for my family of 7 you would think they could at least give us a free soda! NEVER AGAIN!!

Didn't have half the items on the menu. Pizza took forever, 2 where the only ones in the restaurant. Roommates pizza had vs much only on it the USA wanted to invade it. Poor quality product for the money. Take my advice eat somewhere else.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
