Scarfone’s Coal Fired Pizza Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first meal here. The coal fire pizza was delicious. The ingredients seemed super fresh and the sauce on top was scrumptious. It was a perfect amount of cheese and sauce ratio. The only disappointing part is you can't pick two signature pizzas to split if you are your partner do not like the same things (I don't eat meat). So we had to split a pizza we designed, but had to pay for four toppings, even if I only got 1 on my side and he got 4. I would still recommend this place just go with someone who eats what you eat :)

Not so impressed. it must have been opposites day as the "coal fired crispiness" was nowhere to be found except the edge of my pizza. The flavor was good and seasoned right but it was not anywhere close to crisp. Also the coke was flat first glass but refill was carbonated. Service was ok. Dont think ill be back.

Fair food. Not great. Pretty pricey for what you get. I would go elsewhere because there are so many other choices in the area. No slices or cheaper options for the kids. Probably won't go back.

We where here today mid afternoon and had a a great experience here today. When you walk in you realize your not just in an any run of the mill pizza joint. First thing you notice is the upbeat club style music and secondly the modern look of the whole place. Since it was the slow time of the day we were greeted by the manager Danny who also served us. He is very friendly and made sure we were happy through out our visit there. Now time for the good stuff we ordered the "Farmer's Market" pizza which is the veggie pizza and had them add eggplant, It was fantastic I can honestly say it was the best veggie pizza I have had the crust was nice and crisp at other places when you order the veggie pizza it gets soggy from all the moisture from the vegetables but that's not the case here. It was perfectly done with the freshest ingredients that worked great together it even smelled great. I will be going back soon to try some of their other items but I say without a doubt the veggie pizza will always be first on my list here.

Scarfone's has delicious pizza. I love it. It is in the style of Anthony's coal fired pizza. Not a bad restaurant to be like. I can see Diane and I becoming regulars at Scarfone's. Very comfortable chairs. Very clean place. I'm hungry just thinking about the restaurant. Let's go out for a pizza pie as my father-in-law used to say.

Love the food at their location in Wilton Manors, so we decided to give the Coral Springs location a try last night. We got there at 8:30 and the place was empty. No customers, no staff. We walked around, called out, nobody answered, so we left. Went to another coal fired pizza place in a neighboring plaza and it was very busy and the food was great. Wonder why no one was at Scarfone's?

Very boring food and pretty expensive. The pizzas taste more or less the same.

Good food, prices are average for the area. Service is mediocre, therefore we usually order out.

We went there on a Sunday night. It was apparently really slow for some reason as we were the only table. While the host or server who greeted us had no personality and didn't so much as smile, we were hungry and decided to look past that. Our server came over, smiling and introduced herself. We ordered drinks and while looking at the menu I asked if they had angel hair pasta vs. spaghetti. She didn't know so she had to go ask. That's the only issue with the server we had... you'd think they would let their staff know what sort of pastas they offer. FYI, They do not have angel hair. Other than that, the service was good. The food was really good. We ordered garlic bread, which was different but really tasty! We had the spinach pie on wheat and it was pretty flavorful. I think it had to do with the pizza dough. Regardless, we'll be back and I'm hoping the rest of the food there is just as good. We're trying to find good food close to home and this will fit the bill when we want something other than "traditional" pizza.

Best coal fired pizza ive eaten outside of NY. Have many different choices of toppings at reasonable prices. If I lived down there id order from there once a week at least.

Had dinner there tonight. Food was great, however, they somehow managed to lose my credit card. After waiting for a while and seeing our waiter serve food and clean tables instead of trying to find my card, I got up to try to find it. What an incompetent staff, the manager (???) was a real jerk, I was told, it's probably on the dining room floor...was I supposed to crawl around and look for it???? Finally found somewhere on the counter as I frantically called my bank and my husband lost his temper. Then they have the nerve to say ..is this your check? Not even comp the meal for the aggravation, not to mention the crappy attitude we got when we said we would never come back.....stay away from this place...

My 7 yr old son, 9 yr old daughter and I ate there yesterday. Completely empty when I walk in. My daughter & I eat meat on our pizza and my son does not, he eats two pieces, tops. I order a lg & I'm told it's 8 pcs so I ask for 2 or 1/4 plain cheese. Server says no it's against policy, I say come on, whatever just tell the cook to leave two pcs plain. 5 mins later a cook comes out and says he cannot do that, it's against policy. I once again say, I'll pay for the whole pizza topped with meat, but I need 2 plain for my son, no sorry we can't do that. The manager &/or owner walks over and says, no worries it's slow we can do that. The pizza was so, so, blah, watery and I didn't think all that great. I then get the bill and see my two childrens fountain drinks were almost $6. I pay and go grab a menu on the way out, nothing on menu. Bartender says, can I help you, I say, just looking for non alcohol drink prices. He says, they're not listed, they're $2.85 a piece. What? I just paid $6 for a 7/9 year old to have a soda? Maybe I'm out of line, but seems a bit off. Won't set foot or a dollar of my money there ever again.

Well, I just can't resist their Farmers' Market Pizza, so I went back despite the poor service the time before. This time, as with the majority of the times I have been there, the service was friendly again, so I am re-awarding the fourth star.

One of the best real Itslian restaurants that we've had the pleasure to visit. The pizza crust is excellent, the sauce is fresh. We also tried the pasta aka vodka. Amazing The food tastes just as if we made it at home. While this is a mutual-branch company, this is NOT a franchise. The Scarfone family obviously take pride in their work. It's so refreshing to come across businesses such as this. Gives me great hope for the continued success of entrepreneurial America. Well done. We will be back every time we drive from a Southwest Florida. FYI - the owners son was gracious, intelligent and demonstrates an incredible instinct about how to handle clients. These guys are winners! Cheers

We were really pleased with this gem for multiple reasons... first of all it's locally owned and not a chain which is always a bonus! The decor was a bit cosmopolitan but comfortable and inviting. Our service was attentive and friendly but not overly boastful. We truly enjoyed the wine selection and the very crispy and delicately fried calamari, the calzone was huge and delicious! The pizzas looked great, although we didn't try any this time around. The location is fantastic- just one minute off of the sawgrass and walkable from the local marriott as well. They don't offer a happy any longer although we did read online earlier that they had one. Regardless there is a nice somewhat separated bar area and dining counter for those who just want a beverage or prefer to dine alone.

I can hardly type this review. This food is AWESOME! We were going to go to the location in Wilton Manors but when I found out the original was in Coral Springs, we jumped on this! The interior is very trendy and even though the hard surfaces tend to make it loud, it fit's with the trendy and hipster vibe they're pulling. We only ordered two dinners but they were both incredible!!! I had the Sunday Gravy and my partner had the Chicken Scarfone. We both tried each others and thought each were very, very good. The red sauce in the Gravy dish is to die and the meatball served in it looks like a space capsule! If there was any critical point to make it would be to recommend that the Chicken Scarfone be served with one piece of toasted garlic bread like the Sunday Gravy does. That would really close the circle. We also had two desserts and that was one too many! They were both magnificent! My partner had the carrot cake and I ordered the zeppoli. Unlike what you find on Mulberry Street in New York, this was an entire PLATE of zeppoli's! It was easily enough for 4 people! Our server was the owners' son, Danny Scarfone, and he couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating to us. Very friendly and very attentive!

Coming from NY, I keep trying these coal fired pizza restaurants here in South Florida only to be disappointed. This time, I was very impressed! First off, the place is really inviting and tastefully decorated. They have tables that are booths on one side and chairs on the other. The booth side was more like a sofa, with pillows. I imagine this comes in handy for those with small kids - they can just get comfortable if they're cranky! Seriously, very comfortable. They also have a large bar area - I assume it's a full bar, although I only had wine. The host who seated us, I believe, was the owner. He told us to look at the menu and if there was anything we wanted that we didn't see, we should let him know and he would do our best to get it for us. We then looked at the menu. They have a list of amazing appetizers, pizzas, pastas, coal fired wings and main courses. The kids shared a pizza which was crisp and delicious. They also had wings which were in a sweet and spicy sauce with pineapple - fabulous. I saw an appetizer which was Italian sausage with vinegar peppers in tomato sauce. I asked if they'd put that over pasta and make it a meal - no problem (I think they charged $7 to make it a meal with the pasta). Hubby had chicken parm sandwich - it was a LITTLE dry as the cutlets were extremely thin so they got a bit over cooked, but it was good. We took home dessert - cupcakes for the kids. Really enjoy this place and will become a regular for sure!

Amazing pizza! Definitely try getting the white sauce, one of my favorites! I've been going here for 4 yrs now, and it's a great establishment, family owned and run, with excellent service. They really care about you. Definitely recommended to anyone in the area.

Ducked in as a volunteer for a re-election fundraiser for Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel and was I glad I did, here's why: * Angie the proprietor was gentile, courteous, friendly and the consummate hostess! * Danny the son of elder Danny the chef were both welcoming as well. * Big, delish, honking Tuna Sashimi Tray ROCKED! See photo. * Cool Decor * Lots of Exterior seating * Liberal pour cocktails from the FULL BAR! * Fresh ingredients * Mainly coal fired pizza which I didn't try. Good stuff, visit here or Wilton Manors. Cabeza OUT!

The manager at this place is completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I ordered a pizza to go and upon arriving I ran into a friend so I decided to eat there instead. I asked the manager of it was ok to just eat the pizza at the bar where I had paid for it. Thinking he would not care seeing how there was nobody in there. His response was no. I even said I would leave a tip thinking that's why he didn't want us to eat there. But he still said no I could not believe this guy runs this place. I since stopped going there.

Been going and taking out from the CS location for years. Have not been going for one reason or another and decided to order our usual a large wheat pie and an order of the wings. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!! Either they sold the place or something is wrong in the kitchen. The wheat pie was like a piece of cardboard and the sauce was plopped on in dollops and was almost like a chunky salsa than the usual tomato sauce. They also changed their wings since they were a frozen breaded wing instead of the brick oven cooked ones they used to have. Best part of the wings was that they served them with the caramelized onion on top of some garlic bread. No bread and onions were scarce. They have closed 2 locations in Coconut Creek and Weston area so maybe this one is next, if not already sold. To much expansion too fast. Hello Anthony's Coal Fire. Sad.

We got pizza. It just wasn't good. The crust was okay, but a lot of the toppings seemed like they came from a can. Thin crust has to be crispy in my world. :)

I used to go here a lot for pizza but just haven't been in a while as it's expensive (for pizza). It was excellent but no more. They have switched to a much sweeter sauce that is barely edible. Very little mozzarella and toppings that are quite pricey. Service is average at best. We were the only ones in the restaurant during a weekend night 7:30 which isn't good but has always been like that. After the switch to this sauce, I will not be back as there is a lack of value.

Best Italian food I've had that doesn't have to make their food greasy for it to taste good. Been on a low carb diet for a while so I haven't been recently but I cannot wait until my next pie. Most likely ordering for NFL Sunday this weekend I can't wait. Their pepperoni pie is pretty good. For vegetarians go with the Eggplant pie, also very good.

This place should be much better than it is. They need to change the sauce and do so in a hurry, whatever they are using is way, way, too sugary.. I have been 3 times over the last couple years, and it always looks better than it tastes.. Everything is cooked correctly but the damn sauce is just not right.. Service was fine prices are fair. It could be better and should be better...

11:25 this morning... SCARFONE'S Coal Fire Pizza has two locations under this owner, Danny - One in Parkland, one in Wilton Manors. If you are planning a party or lunch/dinner there, DON'T! This could happen to you the day of. I was lucky that it happened in advance. So this is what happened...I have been dealing with the son, Danny, Jr. for a month, one casual unplanned meeting face to face and one on the phone as well and he was very nice to deal with. I had planned to have about 35 out of town people there. Today I got the father-owner Danny Sr, on the phone unfortunately and went over what his son and I spoke of. He was so RUDE and OBNOXIOUS and said that we aren't spending enough money per head on a Friday night to have our party there based on what his son quoted us verbally and it wasn't so much what he said, because we would have come up in price had he even been the slightest bit cordial but his LACK OF MANNERS, PROFESSIONALISM AND KINDNESS made me think that I would never give him a penny or ever step foot in there again!! I suggest that to you as well. They don't deserve business with this terrible ugly attitude. Very upsetting. Feeling so outraged, I just told my friend Debbie my experience and she said that she had a bad experience at the restaurant and she used to go every week. She said she was there eating lunch and her beefsteak tomato was missing a piece of mozzerella and when the son went back to get one, the owner went crazy screaming and yelling and wouldn't give it. She said the guy is a loose cannon and several people around town have had bad experiences with him and don't go there anymore. Not surprised! I am sure that more stories like this will come out since this is a very small town.

I travel to this area frequently on business and really love Scarfone's. The baked ziti and penne a la vodka, are delicious & the garlic bread is out of this world. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but my colleagues enjoyed it during our visit.

Pizza is pretty good but just as good as any coal fire pizza. Nothing special and more expensive than the average place. The only thing that stands out is the owner being a complete douche bag. If you want to support an a-hole, go for it.

My coworkers and I used to come here during our lunch break very often, and always left satisfied. The service is always excellent. The servers knew that we had limited time and were always speedy getting our food out. The grilled wings are AMAZING!! They are seasoned perfectly with chunks of garlic. The pizza is also delicious, and they have a great selection. I definitely recommend this place!

I came here a while back to have dinner with a friend from Argentina. It was my first time but she had been here before so she recommended that we share a meatball pizza. I had never had meatball on my pizza--and the sheer thought of it seemed ridiculous-- so I was a little hesitant and seriously considered just ordering pasta. But then I thought about all the crazy toppings people started putting on pizza lately... so we got the meatball pizza. The meatball itself was tender and tasty, the dough was well-made, the sauce wasn't overbearing, and the mozzarella had a nice texture. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it a lot. We also ordered the garlic bread with cheese on it, which was underwhelming to say the least. Negatives: The main thing I don't like about it is the decor because it makes it seem very pretentious (just like the rest of that outdoor "mall"). The waitress seemed a little lost and she definitely needed to do some more training. Also, they close way too early! I tried coming back because I was nearby and it wasn't even 10:00pm and they were already closed. Scarfone's is a relatively new restaurant and I'm assuming it's the owner's first restaurant because there is a lot that needs to be improved. There is absolutely no reason for me to drive all the way to Coconut Creek just to go to Scarfone'a but maybe I'll stop by if I'm in the area and order a meatball pizza to-go.

It is an upscale, chic family pizza dining experience!! All we got to say is that .. it is the best pizza we have ever had.. and the chicken wings are amazing as well. Great place!! A bit far, but it's worth the day trip..

  • Scott T.

This is a solid place to get coal fire pizza, but not the best in town. From a location standpoint, it is easy to get to if you live in Parkland. The pizza was very good. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and the pizza came out hot and crispy. From an atmosphere stand point, I did find the place a little cold and empty. We may have been here a little late in the day, which is why it was a little slow. Prices were a little higher than I thought it would be, but felt it was a good value. I would definitely try it again.
