This place has amazing jerk chicken. Huge portions of chicken. Chicken that is gigantic! I can't wait to come back... The owners are cordial and and put quality effort into the quality and size of the chicken. Hopefully the same goes for the oxtail when I come back. It'll probably be the size of an Escalade!

I hired Creative Cuisine Catering on many occasions. They did my baby shower in 2014 and it was amazing. The best food I have ever had. I am very picky person. I eat out almost everyday. I would compare their food to high end restaurants in Hamptons, New York and Manhattan, New York and South Beach, Florida and Aspen, Colorado. It was a pleasure to work with the chef. I would recommend this company any day.

Pops Corn

9249 W Atlantic Blvd

Reviews:
I hope the number of reviews of Pop's Corn isn't telling of the amount of business they do, because this place is great. It's located in Coral Square Mall, which may be a reason why this place only has four reviews... But is definitely worth the trip. I would stop just for the popcorn. The shop has ice cream, popcorn and beverages. The popcorn is made fresh there. I would love for them to have more flavored but they have your basics: cheddar, kettle, buttered and caramel. They also have "Pop's Mix" which is what I would normally call Chicago style. I had one of the nicest employees who waited on me. I had a bunch of dumb questions and he answered every single one with a smile. The Pop's mix is two full scoops of each, the cheese and caramel for $6 and it's delicious! He made the cheddar fresh for me and it was amazing. The caramel was so sweet. I loved every bite. You can buy tins and various other popcorn gifts there as well. I have to try the frozen lemonade soon. My inner fatty is so excited that I found this place. I will be making regular trips to Pop's for sure.
Our favorite popcorn for years and after moving to Atlanta 3 years ago we haven't had any until today. We ordered a large bucket online today and it was great as usual!!!!
This isn't just popcorn. It's a sinfull experience. One flavor after the next it just gets better. My personal favorite is the chocolate. My kids had a party and Pop's Corn, did the favors. Beautifully packaged, no Hassel ready to go. Oh...and if you grew up in Coral Springs in the 70's, you've got to remember Polar Cup. Well, it's now a part of Pop's Corn. Double the pleasure. Thanks for being the best!

Carvel Ice Cream Bakery

5621 Coral Ridge Dr

Reviews:
This place is solid. I mean, it's Carvel! Aside from the awesomely delicious birthday cakes, and the take-home flying saucers, they have great ice cream and shakes, too. They're conveniently located a few doors down from Pasquale's pizza place, so it's not more than a hop, skip and a jump away from making it a pizza & ice cream day (which are the best kind of days). It's also mockingly situated next door to the gym, which is just funny to think about while you're gobbling down some dairy (or sad, I'm not sure yet). They switch up the flavors sometimes, and that was one thing that caught me off guard. My favorite flavor (Swiss Miss Chocolate) was suddenly removed! I explained to the girl behind the counter (they're all super nice there, by the way) how much I love that flavor and what I could do to get it back, and she was more than happy to make me a "Swiss Miss Arctic Blender". I said I'd try it, and WOW, was it good! I will probably be getting that every time I go there now. Apparently they keep Swiss Miss stocked there, and while they had stopped serving the ice cream flavor, they were definitely able to whip something up using the Swiss Miss. What a fantastic idea. The kids love the sprinkle tower, which is basically a machine that stretches from the floor to the ceiling that contains every different color sprinkle in it. All you have to do is hold your ice cream (or really, anything) under your chosen sprinkle color, and pull the lever to watch that magical shower of sugary pellets that somehow just makes everything better. It's also fun to quickly sweep your ice cream under all of the colors and pull each lever as you walk by (it's okay, you won't spill... there's a catch tray ;). The only thing that would make this place better is if the employees would sing when you tip them, like another unnamed ice cream chain (*ahem*). That's always fun.
Carvel is great. Always exactly as expected. Their sprinkles are the best. They have a sprinkle bar which is great for some sprinkle refills. This location has a great manager and employees. The cakes always look really nice too.
Love love love their soft serve ice cream! I definitely recommend it for a little family hang out at this location after dinner. I also saw the Nutella ice cream is back! Make sure you go try it for me please!

About Bangkok

Reviews:
Best Thai food in Coral springs bar none. Flavorfull curries and good sushi.
I've been a bad, bad yelper...been here 4 times but didn't write. Love it. My buddy took me one time b/c he loved it. I liked it so much I brought my wife for 'date night' 2 days later. Then have been back for lunch again with different people. Delicious, and decently priced. I will say the sushi i had was some of the best around, but was very expensive per piece. The owners / server are always very friendly. One time we ordered off their 'authentic thai street food menu'. Top right of menu. Something with a fried egg. Dang this was awesome. Other times we have ordered the lunch box for 2, served in authentic stacking bowls, which comes with thai iced tea, appetizer, and two dishes. We have eaten the green curry, red curry, and pad thai. Highly recommend About Bangkok!!!
i have never stepped foot in the restaurant, i order a lunch special with the office hand someone my card and magically it appears, i usually get the red curry with chicken thai hot however they always think white girl cant handle heat and somehow i dont get much spice at all or basil chicken, other homegirls at work get a sushi roll or two and they gobble that stuff up too. lunch special $10 comes with smaller than dinner portion however a small usually chicken rice soup and a small summer roll , consistently good just wish they'd believe this white girl can handle the heat literally and figuratively thank you very much

Cherry Smash

A great little ice-cream shop and old fashioned candy corner in Coral Springs. While the original Jaxsons in Dania Beach was a favorite growing up, this is a great little substitute on this side of town. The only nitpick would be the menu. There are far more items they could offer surrounding the ice creams they make. Keeping it simple however is likely what keeps the traffic flowing at this location. Be sure to check out the old school backroom before leaving to see items from your youth (or your parents).
It's like walking through a door and instantly being 7 again! The sounds and smells remind me of the little ice cream shop around the corner from my house as a kid. They make their ice cream on site!! This really has to be a once in a great while treat for me (lactose...age...sucks), but what a treat it is!! I got a chocolate malt, because, dude...it's a chocolate malt! They don't ahve lactaid here, so I brought my own. It was wonderful! The candy selection is like getting in a time machine! Necco wafers, candy cigarettes, root beer barrels, gummy coke bottles, wax bottles...you name it, it's here. You should come here.
It was incredibly dysfunctional and chaotic and I believe that between the close proximity of the tables and the people waiting in line out the door to order, it must not be inspected regularly by the Coral Springs Fire Department. $18 for a waffle cone with 1 very large scoop, a 1 topping sundae and a bottle of water these prices certainly don't go back to the era they are trying to make you feel like you are in. Honestly, the regular ice cream was ok, the sugar free ice cream below average, and my visit absolutely left me unable to find out why people rave about this place. Even if they figured out a better system at the counter I have to say that the biggest reason of all that I won't return is that one of the nostalgia candy items they sell are candy cigarettes. This is a disgrace. In this day and age when we know the harmful effects of tobacco, and that the candy attempts to make cigarettes look like fun, they should not be sold at a family style establishment.

Sublicious

5968 Coral Ridge Dr
Coral Springs, 33076
Reviews:
I'm not a big fan of Subs, since most of the subs I've had were pretty low quality and turned me off. But, I had a taste for a Roast beef sandwich and decided to give Sublicious a try. I was duly impressed. Everything was fresh, but more importantly to me, the meats weren't prepped and sliced ahead of time. I watched them take the beef out of the cooler, slice it and weigh it ( and it was a substantial portion) in front of me. The bread was fresh and tasty. The toppings were bountiful and no nickel and diming for a little extra topping. Sublicious made me a believer that there still are good, fresh sub sandwiches out there, and can be reasonably priced. I've been back a couple of times, and looks like I'll be back even more often.
We get subs here all the time and they are quick, the bread is really good, and they have quality meat and toppings. My daughter loves their chicken salad wrap the best. My other daughter loves their meatball sub. Outside of that we always get turkey or roast beef subs.
The tuna used to be much better.. They must have changed the quality of the tuna. ..Now I go across the street to Subway

Laspada’s Original Hoagies

7893 W Sample Rd
Coral Springs, 33065
Reviews:
As someone who unfortunately loves subs and all the empty carbohydrates that come along with them, I've been told for many years that I must try Laspada's. Well, I did. I noticed two things immediately, both of which never make me happy: 1) the crowd - even early on a Saturday, there was a huge line....and 2) the cost - a footlong here is nearly double the price of Subway. Yes, I am aware that Subway is utter garbage, and I did expect some incremental premium for a better quality product, but it still seemed like a lot to me. On this last point, when I ate the sub, my stance was ameloriated. Don't worry, we'll get there. After waiting in the line for what seemed like an eternity, because apparently some dude was getting sandwiches for an entire Little League team (almost ALWAYS my luck with this kind of thing...our universe gets a sick, twisted kick out of testing my patience), I made it to where the sandwich maestros were working. I do like the fact that one guy is dedicated to slicing fresh deli meat. I mean, it looks like a terrible job to stand there for hours slicing meat, but I appreciated it. I also appreciated that they loaded up the hoagie roll with meat and cheese. Too many subs fail, simply because there isn't enough meat and cheese for all that bread. A sub with an imbalance toward bread is a crappy 1-or-2-star sub. You could give me the finest meat and cheese in the world, and it would still suck, because you skimped on the most important parts of a sandwich. To Laspadas' credit, there is no such skimping here. In fact, they might even overburden their bread. Which is fine with me, because I don't think their bread is any great shakes. It's all about the meat, and it had better stay that way. Once done with all the fixins I wanted, I noticed that this was one fat, enormous sub. As I ate the thing, it dawned on me that the $11 I paid wasn't terrible, because finishing the sandwich would amount to all the food I'd really need for the entire day. Finish one of these footlongs at lunch.....and beyond needing a nap right after, dinner will be rendered wholly unnecessary. The hype is real. This is clearly the best sub in South Florida.
Still one of my favorite sub/hoagie shops! Their stuff is always fresh and just delicious.
I'm a sub kinda girl. There's nothing like fresh bread with fresh meat and fresh veggies. You like subway? You don't know what you're missing out on. You like publix subs? Well so do I!!! And if you want to find a replacement for eating so many public subs than this is the place to go. So many amazing options - and such amazing food! Their voodoo chips are amazing. Almost like a salt and vinegar bbq chip which say perfect along side my roast beef sub. Don't let the size full you! Although a publix sub may look longer, laspadas you get your money's worth! I've never finished a sub and was starving from this place. I can barely ever finish it! The double meat is a heaven sent! And the fresh bread is just the cherry on top. Nothing can ever beat this place!
