    We decided on the NYY steak house for our 25th anniversary because of course its a special day. We knew it would be expensive but we definitely received what we paid for. I had called ahead and our table was waiting for us with a clear view of the open kitchen and almost the whole restaurant. The servers worked as a team and they we're both very attentive. My husband ordered the shrimp cocktail and I ordered the grilled octopus for starters. They we're both delicious. They only gave us 4 shrimps but they we're big and the cocktail sauce so fresh. I would've liked a bit more octopus but it was so good. I should've ordered the crab cakes but I needed to make a decision of course. My hubby ordered the surf and turf. He absolutely loved it. I ordered the tuna topped with crab meat. It was lumpy crab meat with no added sause or bread. Excellent. And we had the asparagus for a side. Also great tasting. My hubby hid a special anniversary present (a ring) under the napkin and after I calmed down from the wonderful surprise I shared it with the waitress. She made it feel even more special. Then I shared it with our waiter and he also made it feel special. It was a wonderful experience.

    Food was great! But the service was sloooooowwwww This is an expensive, traditional casino steakhouse. Your meal will likely take over 2 hours to complete and your bill will testify to that statement! Amazing stone crab claws and watching them butcher the steak when you first enter the restaurant is culinary artistry. I'm not rushing back anytime soon, but if you are in the area and in the mood for some red meat (and recently got paid) it's not a bad option.

    Made a special trip to Coconut Creek to try NYY. We don't lend much credit to restaurants located in casinos but this is my second restaurant in this casino and both venues did not disappoint. First, the deco is upscale and modern presentation of Yankee baseball: wall of knives, baseball themed white plates, tastefully displayed baseball paraphenalia. We were greeted immediately by the hostess and another staff member merely walking by. The hostess was great at setting expectations with each guest by stating the wait time and in what order we will be seated. We were seated at a roomy u-shaped table and our 2 servers introduced themselves. They were both professional and friendly. The 2nd server was excellent at keeping our water glass filled, as it should be. I hate having to ask for my water to be refilled. In no time, they brought over warm giant pretzels and cranberry bread. Both were crispy and soft where they supposed to be. They give you 2 types of butter. I could have ended my meal at bread... Now the steak. We both ordered the Cowboy Bone-in Ribeye, medium rare. Perfect medium rare. And delicious with generous marbling throughout the cut. I do have to mention the inconsistency between our 2 plates even though we ordered the same exact way. The other steak had a crisp dark sear. While mine did not. The other steak, when cut into, bled on plate. That means the steak was not allowed to sit. Mine did not bleed. So this indicates to me our steaks were cooked with much time apart. As a side we ordered the Roasted Cauliflower with crusted parmesan special. The cauliflower was not roasted at all and was cold. They basically took raw cauliflower and roasted a light sprinkle of parmesan. The side was not as tasty as it could have been. The experience overall was positive. The food was definitely decent. I would dine here again.

    Right up there with the finest steak houses around Top quality steaks cooked to your temperature Served in a open and comfortable environment Sides and deserts were all excellent Exactly what you would want and expect from a steak house Not haute cuisine But steak done right and a comfortable table and chair Wines list might be a little underwhelming But it's acceptable with some quality selections just not the most exciting list i have ever seen. Great job

    The best crab cakes i've ever tasted. I enjoyed it too much that I could not even touch my main dish. Their french onion soup comes with oozing cheese which is just YUM! My husband opted for the steak and he said it is wonderful. Located inside the Coconut Creek casino. I can say that this place is trendy, hip and yet classy. The servers are friendly and efficient as well which is a big plus!

    Very enjoyable dinner in a very nice atmosphere. Excellent accommodating staff that offered recommendations when asked. N Y Strip Steak was cooked to perfection and all side dishes were served family style. Pinot Noir was an excellent choice to enjoy with steak. Dinner was topped off with NY Cheesecake and coffee. Moderately priced and definitely worth a visit.

    My boyfriend and I arrived at NYY Steak on Monday night and were immediately greeted by a variety of friendly staff who set a great tone for our meal. The second we arrived at our table, a fresh basket of NY soft pretzels was promptly delivered with a side of dijon-mustard butter, and our waiter offered us a bottle of complimentary house wine. I couldn't believe my ears. and that was only the beginning... Jeffory was one of the most efficient and wonderfully-attentive waiters I have ever encountered at a restaurant. He made honest suggestions about the menu and we were beyond pleased with every bite of food he brought to the table. Bacon-stuffed shrimp were delightful in a sweet bbq sauce, crabcakes had so much jumbo lump crab and barely any breading or filler, DELICIOUS. For entrees we ordered the 8oz filet and the 2lb lobster...both were cooked to perfection and the meat was the best my boyfriend has ever eaten IN HIS LIFE. The roasted/creamed corn is a must-try, and the mashed potatoes were heavenly. When our waiter offered us dessert I was so full that I writhed in pain a little bit, but he must have noticed that my boyfriend was craving something sweet....so even though we turned down dessert, he came over with a "surprise" cupcake and a scoop of ice cream and jokingly said "if anyone asks, you don't know where I got this from". I am absolutely certain that I will dream of this restaurant every night for months to come. I cannot say enough amazing things about NYY Steak and would happily give more than 5 stars if I could!!!!! Worth every penny.

    We went to NYY hoping and expecting to find a decent steak pace and ended up finding an awesome, 5 star steak restaurant! Highly recommended! Surf and turf was fantastic. The lobster tail and filet were cooked to perfection and both were very large, specially for the combo. The lobster Mac n cheese was great a well. The inside restaurant was booked so we sat at the bar where we could here the live music and the service was great.

    Finally a Sunday Brunch in Broward that is AWESOME! Attentive and super friendly service and the mimosas did NOT STOP! Raw bar was great, and it's a nice touch to saw open the crab legs for EASY eating! Fresh juicy ice cold oysters, huge chilled shrimp cocktail (seasoned perfectly). On the hot side, there were really too many things to try, but the NYY Benedict with a gorgeous poached egg atop house cured bacon and english muffin was perfect. Creamed spinach, Sea scallops on some kind of corn blini, and lamb T-Bone chops.... yum! I never made it to the omelette or waffle stations... just too much to keep me busy elsewhere. A hot carving station with a medium rare Prime Rib, and smoked ham... and a very large desert section with beautiful and feather light french macarons... Thank you.... it was a great experience, and I look forward to coming back.

    we were lucky enough to get the last 2 lobsters on july 4th. when we ordered they weren't even sure there were any left. we overheard them say they started with 86 of them. is that enough for a place like this? when were they delivered? we had 6pm reservations and they didn't open until 4. anyway, we asked how big they were before ordering and were told they were 2lbs. when served, they looked to be at least 3 lbs. and they were absolutely delicious. everything was ala carte, so we ordered a baked potato to share (it was huge). service was amazing. they kept bringing us hot, wet towels. there were no lobster bibs, and my impression was that they never have them. if i had the opportunity (and the money or comp), i would definitely eat here again. of course, being "the Steakhouse" in a casino, the prices are quite high. it is not a dressy type place though.

    My husband and I love coming here. We sit in the lounge on comfy couches, order drinks and dinner, listen to some great music and gamble a little. We are always thrilled with the service and the food. I've had the Steakhouse Salad and the Chopped Salad and they are both yummy. We usually share a steak and loaded baked potato. We've had the Cowboy Ribeye and the 20 ounce NY. Both were prepared perfectly and were delicious. And the breadbasket has little pretzels...Yankee theme! Fabulous. The service is always attentive and there is never a shortage of staff except on this past Saturday night. The whole casino and restaurants were extremely busy...tis the season, but there seemed to be a huge shortage of servers. Every chair was full and there were tons of people standing around waiting to get seats as well. The one waitress who was servicing everyone in the lounge was spectacular. Christina never lost her cool. She was focused and methodical and no one seemed ignored. Meanwhile we could see the restaurant hostess desk where the manager and 3 hostesses were just standing around. Poor Christina just kept plugging away. Finally someone sent some food runners to help which everyone appreciated. But Christina was amazing in such a stressful situation. We will always come back. We love it. The Jersey Boys were awesome as well.

    Enjoyed a spectacular Sunday Brunch buffet here with my wife yesterday. Growing up a NY Yankee fan I loved the the decor of the restaurant with the many pictures and souvenirs of the team displayed throughout the establishment. The staff could not have been any more professional or attentive throughout the meal which was of course a major plus. Upon being seated our waiter explained how the buffet was set up and took our drink order, letting us know that unlimited mimosas and bloody Marys were included in the price of the buffet. He also brought us slices of fresh out of the oven chocolate bobka which was to die for. There were a number of food stations located around the perimeter of the dining room. I started with the smoked fish station which included sliced nova, whitefish, assorted bagels, and cheeses. Next to that was a station with colossal shrimp and crab legs, followed by a station of fresh salad choices. All of the smoked fish and seafood were of top quality and presented beautifully. The crab legs were actually already cracked in half for easy eating. At the carving station they were featuring beef tenderloin and rack of lamb, each of which were magnificent. The beef was medium rare and when my wife asked if they had some that was more cooked they grilled her portion further until it was just the way she liked it. Also available were roasted potatoes, creamed spinach, sliced steak, ribs, and swordfish. Plenty of choices to select from. There were also stations for omelets and pancakes if someone was in the mood for more breakfast type foods. Although extremely full I couldn't help but take a look at the dessert station. They had cheesecakes, pies, cakes of all types, bread pudding, creme brulee, fresh fruit, and much much more. They even had someone preparing bananas foster. We did try a small taste of a few of these and again they were amazing. The Sunday Brunch is on the pricey side, but in this case you actually get what you pay for. It was well worth it for the quality of food, the presentation, and top notch service. NYY Steakhouse not only hit a home run, they hit a grand slam.

    My 1st time here and it was amazing! The pretzel bread they bring is really good, along with the steak. If you are a steak person you will love this! Also they have a mac and cheese lobster side dish which is to die for. There isn't much lobster but when you hit some you know it. It is pricy but i feel for the steak its worth it because i couldn't find one little speak of fat on mine!

    I went to the soft opening with the original chef and everything we tried was fantastic, I don't know how the service and food are now. I plan to return very soon and will update my review then. But, when I went we had the NY Strip 12 oz. I was shocked by how perfect it was, I normally stay away from the NY Strip in other restaurants Ex. Ruth Chris, Prime 112, Morton's etc. because that cut of steak tends to not have enough marbleization. Nonetheless I was very impressed with NYY's NY Strip it was perfection and was not dry at all. We also enjoyed the Flintstone looking Long Bone Cowboy Rib-Eye delicious.

    My husband and I love the steak and baked potato here. Sadly, we went tonight and the music in the bar area ( where we always prefer to eat) was so LOUD we tried for a table inside. The wait would be until 9:30. Really?? It's late June in the sweltering heat! Regardless, we opted to try the outside of the bar where smoking is allowed (OK, we were really hungry). Guess what? It was stacked up with people wanting to sit at the bar, eat, and get away from the terribly loud music. Several seats were available at the inside bar. We asked if the manager would be able to assist with the volume. Guess not. Here we sit at Farraday's in the Isle casino enjoying one of their delicious steaks. So sad for NYY!

    Wasn't impressed at all..the place itself is pretty neat. A lot of memorabilia and beautiful pictures. Our food and service however wasn't as nice. Wouldn't recommend or visit again..quite pricey to boot.

    I would give a 5th star, but I'm afraid what they would charge for it ;) This place is pricey, but far from a ripoff. As far as steakhouses go, they've covered all the bases- great ambiance, delicious food, and outstanding service! Carlos really made our night. It's a rarity these days to find a server who is passionate about what they do and who does an awesome job of it. We had questions about the menu, he answered them honestly. He gave us subtle tidbits about the Yankees throughout the meal which was a nice tie in to the theme of the restaurant. His all around knowledge and passion for what he does was evident every step of the way. He knew how to balance his friendliness without being over-involved in our (anniversary celebration) dinner. The food itself was also remarkable. The breadbasket was filled with goodies, which I should have eased off of, but who can resist comforting carbs?! The colossal shrimp cocktail had 4 huge succulent shrimp. The scallops appetizer was also a hearty size (4 of those as well), but was my least favorite taste of the meal. The filet was amazing and the NY strip was flavorful as well- both cuts of meat were cooked perfectly. We only ordered one side, creamed spinach (per Carlos's recommendation) and it is definitely one of the top 3 spinach sides I have ever tasted. And then there was dessert... the 300lb monster that lives in my belly really wanted to order the ginormous cookies and cream dessert (accompanied by a milkshake), but we'll come back for that when there's more than 2 of us. Instead we got the (smooth and rich) creme brulee, which was caramelized table side and accompanied by fresh berries and real whipped cream. NYY takes pride in presentation and fine detail, which blend together to make a luxurious dining experience. Literally, from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the team of hostesses until the minute we left (after our chat with the onsite butcher), we were treated like valued guests. We will certainly be back when we refill our piggy bank ;) Side note: If you are like me and cannot stand the smokiness of the casino, you will appreciate that the restaurant itself is nonsmoking (since it is not technically on Seminole property, they must adhere to the state law).

    Ladies and Gentlemen, What happened last night was a disaster. $27.50 for a McCallan 18yr cocktail! EEKS... 05/12/2013 Saturday night at the big Seminole Coconut Casino, restaurant busy, we have a reservation for 7:45 (through OPENTABLE) AND for our favorite waiter (Earl). Level of expectation even higher after speaking with butcher (Walter) in the butcher shop. When were we seated? 8:45 I guess they don't review special requests at batting practice. [first batter down], Got nothing but ridiculous excuses. Good management would rearrange the tables and waiter assignments. Ordered the chop salad (which is usually very good). Portion size has been slashed in half but the price is still the same. [second batter down]. Now, we need a hit..... We order the expensive steaks (Ribeye - rare - 20oz NY - med), Now, I'm not making this up. Both steaks were well done and delivered 1hr, 25min after ordering. The nice looking baked potato - COLD. [last batter out on three pitches]. Three up, three down. Restaurants that have open kitchens (with French design) are subject to easy critique when the waiters are stacked up like a deli line looking for their food. The kitchen manager was under enormous stress and couldn't handle the volume. It was like this restaurant just opened and couldn't handle it. Now, I don't complain a lot, but when I got beaned with a 90 mile an hour fastball to the head, I'm a little upset. I am generous with reviews on TripAdvisor This was pathetic. My waiter was totally off his game. He's normally top notch. He kept a good face throughout and so did we. We didn't make a scene and took care of him with a 26% tip. But now that we're reviewing the game film, proper action needs to be taken into consideration. We either get better talent in the bullpen (kitchen), or we trade up to a different team. With beef prices skyrocketing and the proliferation of prime steakhouses all over, every team has to get their "A" game on. There is no excuse for this in a prime steakhouse. I'll give you another chance IF you comp my dinner last night. Otherwise, off to Ruth's Chris Boca Raton. Awaiting a possible rematch and see if you can hit it out of the park. This outing however, was a no hitter. Total elapsed time in restaurant (no desert) - 2hrs. 45 min This partnership between Hard Rock International and the Yankees has got to deliver better than this. --

    Great restaurant!! Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it. He's a big steak lover so every year I try to take him to a different steakhouse and we definitely found a winner here. This place came highly recommended from a few co-workers of mine. Our waiter was very pleasant, who also gave us a great recommendation for wine with dinner and our steaks were cooked to perfection. NYY gets an A++

    Ok so first of all, big ups to this place on presentation. A lot of detail seemed to go into everything, and you get that feeling right from the moment you walk in the entrance and see the big open area where a man is staring right at you surrounded by the wonderful view that is red meat (can you tell I'm a fan?). Also let me mention right up front, I went with my wife and another couple, and we had David for a server. If I ever came back here, David is the guy I want. He's very funny and amicable, and he was extremely appeasing. Very pleasant experience thanks to him. No kidding, it made the entire experience better overall, regardless of food quality. Those are the kinds of people that deserve a good tip. My wife and I both ordered the 26oz Long Bone Cowboy Ribeye. Sounds good, huh? The cut was extremely fatty in the calotte (that's the outside ring part of the ribeye), which is very disappointing because that's my absolute favorite part (side note: some steakhouses, such as Ireland's in Weston, will actually serve you a steak that is nothing but calotte... yum!). The meat was somewhat dry, and I'm pretty sure I didn't get anywhere near 26oz of meat, since I left A LOT of fat on the plate. I usually eat some of the fat, but this was at the point where it would just get nauseating to eat nothing but hobs of fat (you know what I'm talking about). Definitely NOT worth the $59 per steak. Don't get me wrong, I will happily pay the equivalent of a small television in order to get a delicious steak... but this one was certainly not worth the sticker price. The onion soup was decent. Based on what we'd heard, all four of us ordered onion soup. We just had to try it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anywhere near the best we've ever had. In fact, the onion soup at Big Bear Brewing Co in Coral Springs is better, and if you want the best onion soup of your life, head over to Abe & Louie's in Boca Raton. That is an onion soup that will just blow your mind. The creamed corn (another raved about menu item) was excellent. Ever since I had real creamed corn (not the crap from the can), I've been a fan of trying the creamed corn, especially when it's hyped as much as it is at NYY. I honestly think the best creamed corn I've had in a restaurant was at III Forks. However, it was still very, very good here. Overall, our bill came out to just about $400 (around $100 per person). I have to admit I knew it would be a pricey meal, but I didn't come in thinking it wouldn't be worth it. There are so many better steakhouses that don't charge outrageous prices. Think of NYY like buying a Volkswagen Passat for $50k. The Passat is a pretty decent car, but you would be ridiculous to pay that much for it. If you had $50k to spend on a car, you wouldn't waste it on a Passat. That's how I felt about NYY. NYY is checked off our list, and unless some friends want to go to the casino (since it IS in a pretty convenient location), I have no reason to come back here. P.S. I actually had one encounter with NYY before coming here, where I tried to come here previously with 5 other people. The website's reservation feature redirects you to OpenTable, but when you try to make a reservation there, NYY has apparently restricted the OpenTable reservations to no more than 5 people (per the message that pops up on the page when you click on an open time slot and attempt to confirm the reservation). So, if you have more than 4 other friends with you, online reservations are out of the question. Then, the phone number on the website is actually to the casino, not the restaurant, so if you can't get a hold of someone at the casino, you're out of luck. We called for several days at various times to try and get a hold of someone before the time slot (that was available at the time on OpenTable, just not available to our "large" party) closed up. We left a message asking to please grant us a reservation at a specific date and time, but kept calling for the next several days (I really don't know what the problem was, but we couldn't get a hold of anyone for a while, just bad luck I guess). So when we finally got a hold of someone a couple days after leaving the message, we tried to confirm that someone took our message, but nobody did. We let them know what happened, but no dice. Spoke to the manager, who said he wouldn't apologize for being busy, and that we probably wouldn't have gotten in anyway. Very rude.

    The place is beautiful, help is great. Food is pedestrian and very expensive. Not worth the money. Steaks were small and boring. Sides of spinach and skillet potatoes were, uninspired. All very edible, but not worth it.

    Look at other people's reviews, treated rude, made racist remarks, and the food was just ok. Go to capital grill if you want a nice experience, go here if you want to he treated like shit and have a degenerate manager talk down to you and offer bottles of cheap champagne and laugh in your face. We aren't the only disgruntled patrons. The others just talk about it being pricey, but you don't think you will be discriminated against.

    Fantastic! We are in love with this restaurant everything we had was sublime! First ask for Gregory he was excellent and never steered us wrong the whole menu! We started with a very nice Malbec wine and my husband said the bread was fantastic! I had the chopped salad, and the whole combination of chopped candied walnuts roasted corn, dried cranberries, it all jelled perfectly! My husband had the crab bisque and he said it was excellent. For mains we had the filet mignon and upon Walter the butcher who was so pleasant to speak too when you first walk in the restaurant, on his suggestion we had the NY Strip, the creamed corn and the skillet potatoes. The filet was beautiful and wonderful...the NY strip was very good too but we just enjoyed our usual filet a little more, the NY strip was supposed to be medium rare and it was more on the medium side but still delicious! The sides were delightful! For dessert we had the cream brûlée, wow it was wonderful and the caramelized sugar at the table made it even better! Honesty if it hasn't been for the yelp reviews we never would have been as we aren't casino people but I am sure glad we did and we will be back soon!!

    Visited NYY steakhouse last night to celebrate our anniversary. From start to finish it was top notch. The hostess started the night off by wishing us a happy anniversary and it kept getting better and better. We sat with a nice view of the open kitchen. Watching the team cooking the food and watching everything coming out quick from grill to table was awesome...nothing just sits waiting to be picked up. Stated off with those delicious pretzels. I could have eaten 10 (but I didn't ) and the mustard horseradish butter was soooo good. App: crab cakes...so good. Fell apart..why? Because it wasn't filled with breadcrumbs! It was ALL crab. Dinner: husband had the bone in cowboy ribeye. Cooked perfect. Barely any inedible fat and our dog got the have the bone this morning. I had the surf and turn. Filet was cooked PERFECT. (This means a lot because the last 2 filets at different restaurants were not). Lobster tail was huge and cooked perfectly. Sides: baby beets. Husband loved them...I don't like beets. Skillet potatoes. Okay...could have been hotter. It's a side...nothing special. Dessert: cappuccino...tasty, but could have been hotter...that's just my preference. Cookies and cream dessert with a yohoo float....absolutely sinful. Couldn't even finish a quarter of it. Service: service was WONDERFUL! Worth every penny! Why only 4 stars? 1. Hated walking through the smoky casino to get there. Food could have been a tad bit hotter. 2. Food was not cold, just could have been hotter.

    I shall preface this review with this :order anything and whatever you want: meal was paid for by big pharma. this location is located inside the coconut creek casino. its smokey as f in there. thats the one big minus when it comes to this place, it creeps in to the restaurant even. that being said, we had the private room in the back with great service, the steaks are flinstone size and their south african lobster tails were on point. the sides and apps enough to feed a s mall army.(i cant recall exact sides but none left a sour taste in my mouth nor none that made me yearn for more) I would be back w my oxygen mask and someone else fronting the bill, otherwise will prob have to pass, even with the scrumptious food

    I will start out by saying that I would totally have given them 5 stars because I have eaten here MANY times, but I did have a problem once so I can't give them 5 stars. I gamble a lot both here and at the hard rock and get comps to here and Council Oak (the nice steakhouse at Hard Rock) and I must say that this place is LIGHTYEARS ahead of council oak. Not only is the selection of food better here, but the quality of food is fantastic. And not only is this a great place for an upscale meal, but They also have a fantastic menu at the bar which is not nearly as expensive and just as amazing. They have a lobster grilled cheese sandwich that is served with a tomato bisque dipping sauce on the bar menu and that is probably my favorite thing to eat there. Also, they have some of the nicest and friendliest bartenders I've met in quite a while.

    Once again faced with the "High End" Steakhouse in the local Casino we are prepared heading to this place of its price points and it seems in line with the other "Prime Beef" destinations. Arrive to the Coconut Creek Casino which is my first visit to this place by the way. The Casino itself reminds you of something in Downtown Las Vegas very old looking though it's fairly new in stature, very Smokey and we make our way to the back corner to NYY Steakhouse. Modeled after their 1st location In Yankee Stadium it is a very upscale modern feel with great esthetics booths, tables, and a large open view kitchen in the back... Walls are adorned with signatures from many Yankee legends with memorabilia and photos everywhere as well. The Butcher shop is in the front as you walk in and they are hand cutting the steaks on the spot. Quick chat with the Butcher indicated the Bone in NY Strip was the way to go. Georgy is our waiter tonight and he presents the specials along with fresh bread and a basket of pretzels. Also presented two types of different butter Goat Cheese & Mustard both interesting to say the least. Complimentary bottled water or just water out of a bottle "Tap" is poured ad we peruse the a little overpriced wine list. Some drinks, soft drinks and a wine by the glass are ordered no bottles tonight. Appetizers: Chopped house salad $13.00 with Romaine, onion, bacon, blue cheese, dried cranberries and walnuts with a rich flavorful, plentiful dressing is top notch. Shrimp Cocktail $19.00 for 4 jumbo's are well good tasty & fresh but they are Not sweet at all not as crisp as they should be & the cocktail sauce even with a side of horseradish is weak. Appetizer special $19.00 Crab Cocktail better than the shrimp but small pieces of crab rather than hunks of crab make for a slight downgrade. Cocktail sauce same as shrimp weak. Entrees: Twin Lobster Tails $60.00 Two very large tales ala carte well they were lobster tails Tasty fresh but certainly nothing special and for $60.00 ok you get the picture. 1 Cowboy Rib eye with the Giant Bone where they carve your initials in was the best steak on the table which was just enough marble and great flavorful texture and taste & I don't like Rib Eye $59.00 for 26 Oz's though is a bit of a Knee Capper 1 Bone in NY Strip recommended by waiter which seconds the butcher's statement was disappointing. It was not charred as requested and inside was a warm weird looking color rather than the deep red associated with a charred cooked perfectly black & blue steak. Taste was OK but for $53.00 16 Oz this needed to be better. 1 12 once non Bone NY Strip was pretty much the same cut as above same texture as above without the 4 oz's of bone. $45.00 nothing special. Two Sides tonight: Sharable: Garlic Mashed Potatoes were excellent and to be honest the Lobster Mac & Cheese was hands down the best I've had other than "RED THE STEAKHOUSE" in South Beach. Service was top notch all night though about 50 minutes from ordering to steaks was a bit extreme. Louie the General Manager stopped by to ask how our evening was as well. All and All it falls somewhere between Good but not great to disappointing. I guess the price points make this one of those if you're going to gouge us you better deliver on all counts. Unfortunately if I have to be honest I'd say the food didn't get there in comparison to the price points. 2.5 stars would be more inline but for the price of this bill I can't give it more than that. Good Company - good service and great esthetics aside, for these prices I better say WOW and unfortunately I did not.

    Came here with my two brothers and our significant others and I was pleasantly surprised! The service was great as was the food... We ordered 2 dozen raw oysters which were very fresh... The stuffed mushrooms which where good, the beef carpaccio which was good, and the shrimp appetizer which were also large and fresh. We all had steaks...my brothers and I all ordered the Cowboys rib eyes where they engrave your initials in the bone which was a nice touch and needless to say they were great! The girls ordered filets which they also seemed to be very pleased with.... For dessert we ordered crime brûlée which was absolutely amazing and their 151 volcano which was good but in my opinion not suitable for children as you can clearly taste the abundance of Liqour which they attempt to burn off as they prepare the dish table side... Over all NYY steak house was great and I will def go again... However my only gripe is its location being that it's located inside the coconut creek casino when you walk into this casino it's very smokey as everyone is smoking cigarettes and cigars in the building... Not good for us non smokers... Had this restaurant been located somewhere in a smoke free environment it would certainly be a 5 star rating in my book!

    This has got to be one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Ended up here after some rounds in the roulette table. Got a place at the bar and was surprised they serve a full menu. The bartenders are very friendly and attentive. I had the crab cakes and beef carpaccio appetizer , followed by the 24oz porterhouse with steakhouse fries and creamy spinach. Everything was great from start to finish. for dessert we had the giant cookie ice cream sandwich. This cookie could be shared with 4 people. Simply amazing and worth every penny will definitely be coming back.

    Went to celebrate my birthday and it was a great experience. They personalized everything, including the birthday dessert and a photo to remember the night! The food was AMAZING. Their bread basket has pretzels! We were pleasantly surprised by the whole meal and our servers were so attentive. Both of our steaks were mouthwatering and all of the sides were delicious. Worth the price- Can't wait to go back!

    I would give NYY Steak 5 stars but I didn't think the button mushrooms were that great to accompany such an awesome steak. Where as the mushrooms at Cut 432 are a meal to themselves. I will try a different side next time. I had the signature Cowboy Ribeye - highly recommended, medium, it was a sight to see coming out to my place sitting at the bar. They bring you a plate of salts & pepper to season the steak to your own taste. Fantastic. Seared to perfection - I would say closer to medium rare. I started the meal with the Tuna Tartare - also excellent. Service was excellent as well, the bread basket with warm NY pretzels & toasted raisin nut bread - 1st rate. Inside the restaurant - you have no idea you are sitting in the Seminole. The sound dampening is excellent.

    NYY is billed as a steak house. That being the case, and having high prices, the steak should be stellar. It's not, sadly. While it is good, better than many others, it's just not worth the price. I ordered the bone-in beef rib eye, 26oz. the menu claimed. I didn't have a scale, but I'll wager that the bone was about 10 of those ounces. So, it was a one pound rib eye, about 2" thick. Seasoned nicely, but only the surface had the flavor. Cut into the center and it was just about tasteless. It's also supposed to be 21-day dry aged. Okay, maybe it is, but the tenderness did not demonstrate that. It should have been soft as butter, like the butter they melt over the top to give it some buttery flavor. It's not fillet, for sure, but rib eye has much more flavor and when done right, is also very tender. In addition, I ordered medium rare. The main portion was indeed medium rare, but the part on the bone was purple, really raw and had the texture of raw. So, for a steak house, this was disappointing. The sides, onion rings and mushrooms were huge. The onion rings were probably purchased and fried there, but they didn't seem house made. They ewer also just okay. The mushrooms were plentiful, but nothing to write home about either. I was thoroughly underwhelmed bu this meal. The place is certainly upscale, but not even close to being worth the price.     My favorite steak house ... Love their shrimp cocktail , crab cakes . Lobster Mac . Of course their delicious steaks and can we talk about their amazing bread with cranberries and their special butter. I love sitting and dining but they also accommodate you at the bar. Great place to hang on a Saturday night they always have live music at the bar lounge area and you can sit at bar and they serve full menu. But my absolute favorite is there creme brûlée! I will come here just to have it with a glass of wine .... Amazing . Their brunch is pretty amazing too . Love this place!! Highly recommend it .

    This place is the only good reason for stepping foot into the Coconut Creek Casino . The pretzel bread is addicting. The cocktails are well worth the price. Ordered the longbone ribeye and they even had my initials engraved into the bone. Talk about exceptional service. Order the chocolate cake for dessert, you won't be disappointed.

    I have eaten here many times and it doesn't disappoint. I usually order the filet (always cooked to perfection), a delicious Caesar salad and a side order of the mushrooms. The generous portion of mushrooms is enough to share with your date, and they are delicious. The prices are comparable to Ruth Chris' Steakhouse, but I prefer NYY Steakhouse. It is easy to find, since it is in the Coconut Creek casino. You will find it as soon as you get off the elevator from the indoor free parking. Be sure to make reservations, especially during season (fall and winter) and on weekends.

    Amazing food!! We went here on a whim & it was the best decision ever. Food was made to perfection. The lobster Mac & cheese was a GREAT reason to cheat on my diet! I had the sea bass, which melted in your mouth, & my fiancé had the steak! I'm not a meat eater so he said it was delicious! It's also close to our house so this will be a regular spot for us! It's hard to find restaurants with exceptional quality food. Thank you we will be telling all of our friends about how amazing you guys are!

    Couldn't even cook a steak right. First raw, then charred, then raw. Nuked fish that was dried out completely. Poor service nothing like a typical high end steakhouse. Manager is absolutely pathetic. Hasn't got a clue on customer service, how food should be cooked. Better managers at McDonald's.

    One of my favorites dish all time the Surf & Turf! The lobster and the filet mignon are simply amazing. I go here with somebody or by myself at least once a month and I always get the same thing. I love to sit at the bar inside with the casino view. Like I said the food is so delicious I always get the same thing when I go there; A glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with the broiled lobster tail with the filet and a side of French fries. The fries come with cheese on top! Ohh before all that, they serve you with bread and two types of butter (garlic butter & another kind of butter). I eat the whole bread every time. The bill always comes somewhere around 100$ Per person. Try it once, you won't regret it! But don't gamble! Ha!

    Had a good meal here a few weeks ago. Went with my standard stuff here the salad wedge which for one was not wilted and a tomahawk steak which was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Accompaniments were lyonnaise potatoes and for. Service was good as well.

    If you can get past the smoke ....that is the best part of this place...opt for the Palm,Ruth's Crhriis , Shula's (the original one), or the Forge.... TheY DO NOT know how to cook a steak anything but we'll done or raw.... When our medium steak came out well done back it went...The next time it came out raw in the middle... The manager said that this was European style and we had no Idea what we were talking about... Really ? If that was served in Europe...you would get mad cow disease...the food for some reason Always comes out cold and then they try to tell you it is hot because steam is coming out...there is NO. Reason that things should come out a Raw and cold...but then again most of the people that eat her are comped so they will just tolerate it. Order the steamed lobster tail best thing in this steak house....

    Great eating ! And great staff ! My bf and I are at the bar and enjoyed an awesome dinner. We started off with the beef carpaccio and scallops appetizer, amazing ! I had the sea bass and my bf had the porterhouse, which was also so good ! We paired the meal with a nice Cabernet Sauvignon and finished with the biggest ice cream sandwich dessert I have ever seen ! The bar staff were so sweet and personable ! Highly recommend !

    While this is a fun place to meet friends, I don't believe it is worth the price. There is a terrific private room for a party. We had 18 in our party. The service was very good and extremely friendly and helpful. We started with crab cakes (delicious), stone crabs ( seemed frozen, not the best) fresh shrimp(fair) as well as king crab and lobster. Presentation was excellent. Spindles of colossal fried onion rings( highly recommended) were yummy! Baskets of great crusty bread with cranberries and nuts, as well as dough pretzels were very good also. Very nice selection of wine that complimented the evening. Everyone who ordered steaks were not satisfied with the amount of doneness to their liking. Side dishes were salty. Mac and cheese with lobster.... Too salty, creamed spinach, not great, baked potatoes were fine. It was a nice touch when they brought around hot moist towels to clean our hands. All in all it was a fun night with good service, very pricey and not the best.

    Absolutely love this place. If you want a serious steak go to NYY. Yes it's on the pricey side but the taste you just can't beat. I usually come here and sit at the bar, watch whatever sport is on tv and order the bacon appetizer. It's 4 extremely thick cut pieces of heaven. Absolutely amazing taste. This time I got the 12 oz rib eye. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The service was wonderful too. Top notch.

    What a treat to find a Sunday Brunch in Broward that is far above any expectations. Be sure to pace yourself and scout out all the items before you engage on this foodie experience so that you can properly experience the culinary excellence that they provide. The establishment is owned by the New York Yankees in conjunction with the Seminole Casino. With a very professional and attentive staff that was always anticipating what you needed next before you asked. Especially the very chilled mimosas that flowed at a continual pace! You could not be happier. The raw bar was exceptional, and it's a nice touch to have the King Crab legs sawed open for easy eating! Fresh juicy ice cold oysters, huge chilled shrimp cocktail that exceeded all expectations. On the hot side I tired the NYY Benedict that had a gorgeous poached egg, thick cured bacon and on a crunchy english muffin, and a French Toast with cream brûlée sauce that was delicious along with sea scallops on a corn blini, and mini lamb T-Bone chops that where cooked to perfection. At the hot carving station I chose the medium rare Prime Rib that was cut to your desire that melted in your mouth. End your meal with a very large desert section. I went with the extraordinary light chocolate peanut butter mousse pie and the feather light french macaroons (the pistachios was my favorite). It was a great foodie experience and I look forward to coming back with my friends so that to can experience this hidden gem. Cheers!

    this place is charging premium pricing, so as such, one should get a premium meal on par with Morton's, Ruth Chris, etc. but NYY doesn't deliver at that level. Is it very good? yes... is it worth what they are charging? no... are they competing favorably with other steakhouses? no the steaks themselves are the problem... not quite cooked to order... not quite seasoned correctly... and the beef, while good, is not at the same level of tenderness and flavor as you can get for this price elsewhere. I can get a better steak at fresh market and get a better product off my grill with some careful work.

    I've had several good dinners there,except for last Saturday night. It was no more crowded than usual, however this time waiting 1/2 an hour for cold soup, which after sending it back, we had to wait another1/2 hour just to get it hot. Cheap on the amount of cheese. Getting a drink took forever. I also overheard the people sitting next to us with a ton of complaints. It's doubtful I would give them another chance. It's an expensive restaurant , and there's plenty of better ones for less.

    Our Favorite Steakhouse in and OUT of South Florida! NYY Steak hits it out of the park every time. Have visited their new location in Rockefeller Center and Yankee Stadium. Have eaten dinner on many occasions. The aged beef is Excellent. Any cut prepared any way. Wine list extensive. The service is classic and unintrusive. The right touch. Casual Elegance. The Sunday Brunch is by far the best in South Florida. The selection is incredible and plentiful. However, it's not served traditional buffet style but rather a selection of individually plated type portions in the chafing dish. Always freshly refilled. The filet carving station excellent. Scallops with a light cream sauce served with prosciutto wrapped asparagus. Sea Bass/ Rack of Lamb/ Incredible fresh seafood selection- with CLEAVED king crab claws (no mess) FRESH HAND MADE BACON. My wife had a Heath Bar Pancake. Incredible desserts, bloody mary buffet/peach/kiwi/ blackberry bellinis and A YOO-HOO Float for a NYY Yankee taste. i COULD GO ON AND ON..... THE BEST.

I had the long-bone cowboy (with my initials seared into the bone!) and will certainly be back for the bone-in NY strip. P.S.~ The cheesecake is out of this world!

    Went to NYY Steak Sunday Aug. 26th for my friend's birthday. I had read the reviews, knew it was not going to be cheap. So you expect everything to be perfect. Well, we both agreed, the steaks were amazing...we ordered the 12 oz filet. Her scallops appetizer was also very good; I had the spinach salad which was good but no more than that. The bread offering was very unique...gourmet pretzels and a cranberry stuffed whitish-style bread. Both quite tasty. The service was also superb, there was always someone to keep your glass fill. Deep-diving a bit on the pricing, this place is NOT for the frugal or value-seeker, there are no dinner combos like Ruth Chris has been offering the last few years. It was $55 for the 12 oz filet, with $6 extra for the Bernaise sauce(!) But still, if cost is no object, or its a special occasion, I recommend coming here. I noted that, on an early Sunday evening in August with tropical storm Isaac soaking everyone with rain, the place was about half full, not bad at all for this price tier type of venue. One thing awkward....there are no restrooms in the restaurant, you have to walk out into the smokey casino. Update March 1 2014: Have been here a few more times since the last review, every time was excellent. One time my date tried the pork chops, never knew chops could be so good. While it's still pricey, there is one side benefit to that: you can usually get a reservation just a few days in advance, while other restaurants in the more normal price stratosphere get booked up on Friday and Saturday night well in advance.

    Parents took us out to dinner to this newly opened restaurant inside the remodeled Coconut Creek Casino. We were seated in a booth facing the kitchen, which was interesting to watch the dynamic between the various stations... We had a very nice waitress who was attentive but not overly fawning. We spoiled ourselves with the Cowboy steak (which my boyfriend said was amazing), I had the Lamb chops which were perfectly seasoned and cooked, while others had the steak with lobster and scallops. Everything was very tasty (which you expect it to be when you're paying THAT much for dinner). Oh, I almost forgot!! For dessert we ordered the Creme Brule, which was delicious and came with the most amazing chocolate coated pretzel sticks... Yum, wish I could have some right now... I would recommend for a romantic dinner, birthday, or some other type of special occasion... Unless of course, you win a big jackpot, then splurge all you want :)

    I was in town visiting a friend and decided to try NYY Steak after visiting the one in NYC where I'm from. My expectations were low because in general, casino restaurants are not usually as good as the original. I had AMAZING aged strip which was cooked perfectly, medium rare. Sometimes you get medium or too rare, but this was really medium rare. My friend had the rack of lamb which was really delicious too except one of the thinner pieces came out medium, I guess it was the end piece. The sides were generous and the wine recommendations were great. I also recommend the tuna tartare which was fresh and nicely seasoned with a bit of spice. The only thing that was missing was the live game. Definitely check this out if you are in the fort lauderdale area- its worth the trip even by NY standards.

    I know a 2 star rating for this high-end steak house is going to raise a few eyebrows but that's really the best I can do basing the rating almost entirely on the steak. If I was to rate the service, ambience etc. and then average them it might come out a 3 but when you boast that you're serving the finest US Prime then I'm going to hold you to that. First, this is a beautiful restaurant especially if you're a sports fan but there's NO sports bar cheesiness in evidence. I loved watching the butcher expertly and swiftly trim steaks while waiting for the remainder of my party to arrive. We were seated by a lovely, smiling young hostess and our server Michelle promptly greeted us. Michelle was our sole server throughout our meal and never missed a beat. We were all charmed by her smile and accent as she is from Romania. When describing the menu to us she noted that the beef is aged 18-21 days. I thought this odd since most steakhouses that dry age go 28 days or even a little more. I ordered the 26 oz. long bone rib-eye with the skillet potatoes. We all decided to forgo appetizers as we knew our steaks would be quite sizable. The bone was etched with my initials which is a cool touch and makes for a great souvenir photo. Michelle asked each of us to cut our steaks in the center to ensure the temp was correct. I thought this was strange because I've eaten in a lot of steakhouses and they generally are confident enough in their kitchens to simply serve the meal with and leave you to it. The steaks were properly cooked but the problem was tenderness and seasoning. A $59 steak should give way smoothly when cut. I repeatedly found myself sawing my way through this steak. Rib eyes are typically well marbled and therefore buttery and tender. I found this one to be a bit chewy and lacking flavor. The potatoes were delicious however. In closing, I need to mention one problem that the management really needs to address. We were there on Wednesday night, a slow night at the casino but as the evening went on we suffered from an intrusion of cigarette smoke from the casino. I don't know how they fix this since our party was as far away from the casino as we could possibly get.

    Have to agree with Mitchell M. We went with a party of 10 people. My wife an I and another couple ordered the 26 inch Ribeye ($59.00 with no salad, vegetable or potato). My steak was almost 1/2 the size of the other couple's. They were both split in half by the waitress. There's no way I can eat a 26oz steak, but this one would have been easy. Unfortunately, besides being smaller than advertised, it was dry, and my wife's half was all fat and gristle. My friend's steak although reasonably sized was also half fat and gristle and dry. We complained to the waitress, who sent the manager over. The manager agreed to replace my steak with another, so we switched to the 24 oz Porterhouse ($69.00). Although it took 15 minutes, the steak was excellent; tender and juicy. It actually made me realize how bad the Ribeye really was. Side dishes were exorbitantly priced; $9.00 baked potato, steak fries (why not call them French fries?) Based on portion, I think we paid between $0.80 to $ 1.00 per fry. Small dish of baby beets $12.00. If you manage a hedge fund, and stay away from the Ribeye, you might enjoy this place. If not, search yelp for some better choices.

    I wouldn't call myself a "fine dining expert" but I will say I've had my fair share of meals fine/casual. Let me start by saying when I sat down the waiter took our drink order. I asked him about the Pinot Noir selection, he listed three calling one a Napa Valley. Because we weren't given a wine menu upon being seated, I asked to see a menu and then chose to have a glass of La Crema. Now the meal... I have NEVER sent back a steak, however last night I did. My steak (as well as a one other steak at our table) was dry and looked like it was sitting out for 30 minutes. Their were no juices coming from my "medium rare", $39, 8oz filet. Our table of 6 ordered 2 creamed spinach sides...both came out cold and were sent back, the 2nd round of creamed spinach was only a degree or too warmer, needless to say we didn't eat it and asked it be taken off our bill. As for our garlic mashed potatoes, they were dry as well. I am glad to hear others have had better experiences here...frankly, I have better experiences and for MUCH less. Terribly disappointing. Our entire table of 6 refuses to step foot back that restaurant.

    Beautiful deco and ambiance. Food was good, but nothing exceptional. Portions are just ok and all sides are a la carte, so you pay for a side salad what you would pay for an entree anywhere else. As far as I'm concerned it's overpriced.

    As an elite member of the casino my husband and I eat here about once a week! Great wine selection, amazing food and very good wait staff. I highly suggest Dwayne or Jennifer. The oysters are a must have and the crab bisque is awesome. My filet is always prepared to perfection!

    This restaurant spends alot of time and energy on presentation. If a person has never been to a nice place they would have been impressed. It did not smell like a steakhouse either when we first walked in. It smelled like a seafood place. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was good, but they certainly werent "colossal" as the menu suggested. And I think having salted pretzels instead of bread is sort of cutsey in a patronizing kind of way, but we are New Yorkers and it was almost offensive. We ordered our $70. porterhouse (which the waiter assured us was plenty for two adults) medium well--it was rare on one side. The rare side didn't matter how it was cooked because it was dry and grizzled with tendons. And it was way smaller than one would think of a 26 oz steak. It would have been barely enough for two, had we the nerve to eat it. The $9.00 potato came encrusted with salt and the skin, which I usually enjoy was inedible. The inside was mushy, not fluffy at all and it tasted microwaved. They served it with almost a stick of salted butter which I removed quickly before it drowned the potato, but it was no help. The manager would not refund the steak (and we did not ask) although we only ate some of one side. We had lost our appetite and wanted nothing more prepared for us. Had I not tried to cut it at severa angles, maybe it would have been more intact. There were hardly any juices as is the case with a well cooked piece of prime aged beef. Their 'special steak sauce' tasted just like A1. There were three kinds of imported seasalts on the table which we found funny since everything was already oversalted. For our trouble, they took the potato off the bill and gave us monstrous portions of average tasting cheesecake and bland chocolate cake. The raspberries were good but I suspect coated with sugar. Besides being unpleasant, this place is downright unhealthy.
