Oh my. This was our second visit. First time was great - minus high beer prices. This visit. .....or waitress put my husband's order in wrong. She then went to the back and tried to covert it up. She brought our cold food to him. He told her to take it back and bring out hot food that was the right order. She did not. Finally, the manager came out and apologized for her mistakes and made it right. She was rude to us the rest of the night. The receipt even showed where she punched it in wrong. The manager made it right. The beer prices are now cheaper. ...so, not a total disappointment. Outdoor music is great#

Wow! First the seated four people and a baby in an infant carrier in a booth. We had her sitting on top of the table. We are an easy going group all can be forgiven if the food is tasty. However, the food was not good at all. It was sloppy and seemed like they where understaffed in the kitchen. The shrimp taco had 2 shrimps and no not jumbo. The nachos had a French fry strangling in the middle. So gross... Man if only davenport could have a decent place to dine!!!!

I'm so excited to have a new wing restaurant in town! My family and I went for dinner the other night, and I'm pretty sure we're addicted. I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's very open and the decor and theming are fun and inviting. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with hellos and smiles right when we entered the restaurant. The menu has a variety of delicious items. However, it is a little pricey compared to neighboring grill and wing restaurants. That being said, I feel like it's worth it! The food comes out fresh and the wings are huge and meaty. I also like the fact that there's 35 plus sauces to choose from. I decided to order the ten count wings with the Boss (signature parmesan blend) and the Coco Loco (habanero, coconut, and lime). I've never wanted to lick a plate so bad in my life. The sauces are amazing. You can taste every single ingredient. Besides wings, my family and I shared the garlic parmesan fries and the loaded Buffalo kettle chips. Words can not express how much we loved the fries. They were seasoned just right and the garlic not overpowering. I'll definately be ordering them again! The Buffalo kettle chips had mixed feelings. I thought they were pretty good, but probably won't order them again. The sauces were delicious, but paired with the salsa queso, and blue cheese made it a but too much. Overall it was a great dining experience. The staff was warm and attentive. The manager even stopped by to say hello, and make sure our needs were met. I feel I will be visting Hurricane Grill & Wings quite often!

Yummy place. Fried pickles and sauce were supper yummy. I had the mahi and broccoli and both were yummy. Boys both got wings and said were very good. Great lunch specials too! So many options for rubs and sauces. Can't wait to go back and try more.

My family and I live in the area, visited over the holidays and are VERY pleased with Hurricanes. Great service, great food, our table was visited by the manager several times to check how things was going. We are impressed.

fellow Yelpers, 1.5 stars Cooks have "zero integrity" I lost respect for this restaurant and will not be back, nor do I recommend it. Ordered wings with 2 types of sauces. They were clearly not the sauces I ordered when the server brought them out. Server told me me the kitchen staff said "he won't notice, take them out to him". When she told me this I felt horrible. I tried the wings anyways even though it was totally the opposite of what I ordered. The sides dishes are less then flavorless. The parmesan fries were completely soggy as if they were cooked hours ago. The food is the reason I will not be back. Service was very slow as well. Took about 15 minutes for someone to come up to us. Even though it was not busy. The servers spend most of their time cleaning. Sweeping and wiping down tables like its a contest on who has the cleanest section. A manager never stopped by to see how things were. 1.5 stars only because they use grade A chicken wings which are the big ones. But I am not interested in returning.

Everything about this place Rocks! Great Burgers! Great Wings! Great service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food at a reasonable price. They also have a great Lunch special that keep us coming back!

Great variety of foods. Sauces taste amazing. If you like spicy, go for the hottest flavors. I've tasted 9 flavors so far and like em all. The managers really make a point of making rounds and talking to customers to see how they are enjoying their meals. That extra bit makes a lot of difference.

Not the best burger or wings or service in the area. Buffalo Wild Wings is still best in breed. If your after wings BWLD is a better value. On wing night BWLD is cheeper too. Sauces are good but poorly prepared only 60% of the wings were coated. Food is not bad but there are better opps. Outdoor bar with a decent beer selection (about 30 choices) is a plus. We waited 16 minuets for food and waitress checked in 5 times but had to be reminded twice for ranch so 3 asks for ranch. 2 and a half stars for me. wild wings or chilies does it better.

Food is decent , sports bar food - wings are decent , the selection of sauce is a little overwhelming. The medium sauce is NOT hot so if you like hot get hot. Atmosphere is good. Service is good. No overwhelming issues at all - would eat here again

Gave a 3 star for the sauces, they are amazing especially coco loco. The wings are small and pricey. The fries were not hot but room temperture. Make sure you count the amount of wings you get because I went with a group and everyone was missing a wing...Yeah a wing is a dollar. I had to drink the strawberry lemonade, it was good. The service besides the 1 hour wait and it was empty...the service was friendly. Dont think I'll visit again. Its too pricey and the wings are little for a 1.oo each.

Great décor. Lots of menu choices. A little pricy. I believe the wings are a little more than BWW, but to be fair I haven't been to BWW in a while. The 20pc boneless wings were about $20. The burgers are more expensive than Chili's. Chili's runs about $8.99 and here your basic patty is $7.99 and toppings and cheese (except the basic lettuce tomato etc) are $.89 a piece. So you end up a dollar or so more per burger. Not a huge deal but if you're choosing a restaurant based on price, keep that in mind. Now for the quality: The fish and chips were awesome. A big, nice piece of fish breaded nicely in a beer batter. The boneless wings were good too. The sauces decent. The only disappointment of the evening was the veggie burger which had absolutely no flavor. I had to dump hot sauce on it to make it edible. The service: Excellent! Everyone was smiling and friendly. The food came out very fast and our server was very attentive. I don't think we'll be back only because 2 of us in our family can only eat the veggie burger from the menu and it's just not that good and a little too pricey. If I want one I'll go to Chili's up the road. But if you don't care so much about the slightly higher prices and the veggie burger isn't your choice, you should check it out for the service alone.

Came here in the middle of the week in mid-December for dinner. I was given optimistic wait time for a table and the actual time was about double that. The bartender was nice. The waiters were running around and looked flustered. There was only one machine for billing and they had a line of waiters form behind it. We sat at the table without drinks for about 10 minutes and we were about to walk out when they finally came by. We should have walked out. The servers were stressed out and took forever to get our drinks and orders. Our main server seemed like she had had it for the night and just didn't care. The food wasn't cooked right either. My wings were soggy when i ordered extra crispy. I had been there long enough and was ready to go so i didn't send anything back. We ended up missing our movie time because it took so long. The place that was there before it went out of business actually had good service. The problem with this location is the location. It's too far for most tourist's driving range. Most Disney tourists will stop at the Chillies before they get far enough up the road to see it.

Won't be going back. During football season, I went to this place quite often. The wings are good for around here. This time, however, was an awful experience. I ordered a total of 40 wings. 30 medium extra wet and 10 honey mustard. The girl took my order and called me back saying they didn't have 30 on their menu. I should have given up at that point. I went and picked them up only to find that the honey mustard had been done extra crispy with sauce on the side! Huh?! After that I asked to make sure the medium were extra wet and they said yes and there was extra sauce with them. I get home and there is no extra sauce and the medium wings had almost no sauce on them! It appeared that they had also been done extra crispy because they tasted like cardboard! You could barely tell they were buffalo style. They seemed plain! What a waste of a lot of money for garbage. I complained later, but they didn't bat an eye of concern. Very poor execution and even worse customer service!

Some food is good (wings are very good and the garlic Parmesan broccoli is amazing) and some not so much, decent happy hour/drink prices, but EVERY SINGLE TIME we order to go food they get something wrong. Whether it's not putting sauces in, not including everything we order, or giving us the wrong sides (every time we order garlic parm broccoli as a side we get regular steamed broccoli with no flavor). The only reason we continue to order from them after multiple bad experiences is the simple convenience of it being down the street from us and the wings are good.

The atmosphere and food here is wonderful! This is my kind of place. Our server Karen was amazing as well; she was hilarious, personable and very kind. Excellent customer service from her. Will definitely be eating here again!

Absolutely wonderful service!! Our server was friendly and gave lots of advice on the menu. We ordered her selections and were very happy. Wonderful food and because we stopped by for lunch, it came very quickly to the table. We will be coming back!

Be ready to wait 20 min for your bartender /waiter. I came here on Vaca and waited the same amount of time both ways. Service and food is terrible DO NOT GET CALAMARI-- It was so chewy and rubbery I couldn't eat it. When I mentioned it to the server she instantly took it and said yea, we get that a LOT. ...UM Im sorry but shouldn't it be changed then from the frozen stuff you're frying currently? We then ordered the hurricane drink....(small size) she came to us with the large and said whoops did you all get the large or small? My friend is a bartender and knows this trick to up charge us so we said sorry but we got the small. She came back with the small and it was good. My friends barely ate their food. I only got a caesar salad and it was inedible as well... how you can mess up caesar salad is beyond me. You can tell that everything is either frozen or canned for sure. I ended up having to cook for everyone when we got back to the vacation rental. After a long day at Disney it definitely didn't feed our appetites. We maybe saw our server 3 times and then when we got the bill--- she still tried to charge us for the calamari AND the large hurricane drink... We may love to drink but we aren't stupid. Will never be back.

Despite the poor reviews of late we were desperate for food after arriving so late in the day. Would have been better off making pbj at condo. In fact, I never got my meal. And while we were waiting on the outdoor patio, the local patrons started hitting on a table of minors behind us. The girls told their parents and we confirmed for the parents what we witnessed. The manager attempted to handle it but could have been more effective. The rude language and over served actions of the group preceded the conversation with the 8-10 year old kids that were sitting a table away from their parents. We were planning another dinner with friends later this week. Will not be going back. Can I give less than one star?

Menu looked good but after sitting for 20 min and not being acknowledged or have drink orders taken we didnt want to risk our food or refills having the same attention. left and went to Gators Dockside, best move ever!

I've been to several stores of this local (Florida) chain. Pretty good overall. We've had several types of foods and they all are of good quality EXCEPT sometimes the wings and legs are small and "misshapen". This store particularly takes care of our youngin. Servers have always been top notch.

My wife and I got home after a long day and didn't want to cook. Hurricane was the closest place that was still open. We love wings. We were excited to try this location out as we had never eaten at a hurricane restaurant in the past. We called over to place the order and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I showed up 25 minutes later with no one to greet me. It was late so I just assumed that they were getting ready to close, so I waited. The bar tender was busy helping a good number of people, but managed to look over in my direction twice without saying a word or even trying to find someone to help me. After 15 more minutes I decided to leave. I shouldn't have to search for someone to help me. One Star, and I doubt we'll be trying Hurricane's wings (or other selections) any time soon.

Hurricane Grill & Wings has a fantastic beach bar atmosphere, with a wide open bar and nice dining area. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the service is okay. Drink-wise, I had an extra spicy Michelada, which is an interesting take on the Bloody Mary; using a Corona instead of vodka, Bloody Mary mix and their signature Fire & Ice sauce. We also ordered a Caribbean Blue, which is a fruity hurricane style drink, served with orange and maraschino cherry. For dinner we went with sharing some appetizers including wings, fries, fried green beans and garlic broccoli. I found the fries soggy, the chicken close to flavorless (not bad chicken, just didn't have any real flavor), and the broccoli over cooked. Overall The food is nothing to write home about, but was certainly decent enough that I'd go back for drinks.

Very very poor service. We have given this place 4 chances. Each one was more disappointing. My parents wanted to try it since they were out of town. The waitress was very annoyed that was asked for a special way make chicken. The pork sliders had no sauce. Wings they forgot to add any sauce. The chicken tacos were bad. Chicken was super dry. We asked for coffee and that was asking for something way about the normal. We will never eat here again. The waitress was also complaining to another waitress about her area she was in. The floor is not the place to discuss issues. I would not even give this 1 star. If you want great series and food do not eat here save your money and time!!!!

Good service. No wait almost. Wings with "Boss" sauce pretty awesome flavor. The Churrasco was pretty good but a bit on the tiny side. The plate was 13.99. My wife had the Pork Caribbean Bowl at 9.99 she wasn't thrilled about it the bowl has more onions than rice. Overall was not a bad experience. We missed some kind of bread, that we think they should have. We might go back for the wings.

Okay, I was trying this again. It had been some time since I went to a Hurricanes, and this one had previously been a lackluster Santa Fe Restaurant, so I was very skeptical. When I went in, I was shocked to see the same manager working here...that did not bode well. However, besides the GINORMOUS rotating fan on the ceiling, the whole place was reconstructed and redecorated. The menu was interesting and vast, and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. LOVE the indoor outdoor bar, and there is plenty of room, that reaches to the outside patio seating. It was cool out so I chose to be inside which was wonderfully comfortable and I was even awarded some "come back" coupons as it was my first visit. The Parmesan fries are as good as they sound and as bad for you as you know it.

We went for the first time. Love the choices of the wings they offer. Hard to decide which one you love the best. We will be going back soon. Staff was friendly and service is spot on.

Conch fritters were amazing. A tad salty but still good. You could taste the conch and different seasonings in the batter. Not just a bunch of breading. Wings were good. Jamaican jerk flavor was off. Probably won't order those again. But the boss flavor was amazing. Just enough heat. Great atmosphere.

After reading all the previous reviews, I had to double check that this was the right location...yep, Clermont location! The only reason this review is getting 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of the hostess situation. The manager (that's an assumption as she was the only one in plain dress clothes versus the employee tshirts) greeted us when we walked in the door--she was kind of abrupt "it's going to be 20 minutes"...her tone immediately made me feel uncomfortable. Regardless, we put our name in and waited....maybe she had just had a couple rude guests before us. It seemed like the wait was an issue for other guests. I don't think twenty minutes is a big deal....the whole time we were waiting, the servers and like 4 hosts gossiped at the host station-- a little off but whatever. The decor of the restaurant is fun, with option for indoor and outdoor seating as well as indoor and outdoor bar. Our server was great! She was super prompt and very knowledgeable about the menu. The drinks are awesome! I got the Tropical Hurricane which has Guava Rum and is definitely the best cocktail I have ever had. Beer list is vast, over 20 beers on tap! Happy Hour everyday.....what's to complain about? Started off with the Perfect Storm sampler appetizer with boneless wings, garlic parm fries, fried shrimp, and fried pickles----you can choose three of their famous flavor sauces for the side. Highly suggest, BOSS...it is spicy but Boss! So so good! Entree we had: BBQ pulled pork quesadilla tossed in honey bbq sauce with kettle chips as the side. The pulled pork was so flavorful, melt in your mouth. Fish & Chips: Yuengling beer battered fish that is one giant piece...longer than the plate! It is so flaky and moist, cooked to perfection. Got the Caribbean yellow rice as an additional side, it's okay but nothing like homemade yellow rice. Might try a different side next time. All our food came out piping hot, nothing sat around under the warmers in the kitchen and that was very appreciated! We were too stuffed for dessert, but will definitely be back!

My husband was starving because he competed in the Warrior Dash nearby. The Yelp app took us to this restaurant :) It was busy because it was a Saturday during the lunch hour and many other warriors stopped by, but we were seated right away. Our waitress was nice and attentive. We started off with the bacon jalapeño cheese fries, which were delicious. And I ordered the Angus burger with a habanero lime rub and random toppings. My husband also ordered a burger but I don't recall what he got. You basically build your own Angus burger, I liked that a lot. Our burgers were great. We ended the meal with a chocolate cake that the waitress raved about. It was very good but you're satisfied after a few bites. Be sure to share that piece with someone else. :)

Pretty typical chain restaurant wing place. Been here twice now and while I wasn't blown away the prices were decent, the restaurant was clean, and the service was pretty good. The one thing that will bring me back however is the coco loco sauce. I'm not a coconut fan at all but our server recommended it and brought me a small sample and I immediately regretted the other two sauces I had my wings tossed in. This place is certainly a step up service wide from the restaurant it replaced (Santa Fe?).

Service was good. I was disappointed with the "large wings" they are bigger at KFC. True the choice of sauces was a plus.

Nice find. Our first time there I had the fish & chips. The fish was not overcooked and the batter was crispy. Very good. Fries were a little soggy. Wife had the chicken hurricane salad. She really liked it. We also had the 5 wing appetizer with ginger garlic sauce. It was great. The second time there we got the 20 wing plate and split it. It was really good and plenty of food. The service was great.

Experience this time around was One star due to the fact Jarred our bartender was rude nasty and would rather slit his wrists than serve us that night....drinks 1 star , food 1 star and service 0 star. Then we approached the manager Val to express our opinion she ignored me and could care less. We would have never gone back except we were expecting the same service we received by Danielle our previous visit who was exceptional !!!!!! They seem to not want the local business just tourists that happen to stumble upon them. If you want a drink go to Paddy Wagons down the street and trust me the food is better at Chilis next door.

We've been to Hurricane Grill a bunch of times and while the service is never out of this world we've never had any downright problems either. The food is consistent and generally pretty good. They have a ton of sauces to toss the wings in. It's a little bit more pricey than Gator's but I enjoy the sauces more. All and all it's an average meal, nothing extraordinary but WAY better than what was in there before and generally pretty good for the area.
