My wife received a coupon for a free Pizza from Flippers, and we'd been hearing good things about this place, so we ordered 2 pizzas on a Sunday afternoon for pickup. We didn't dine in, but the dining room looked modern and cozy with the smell of fresh baked pizza pies emanating from the kitchen, which you could easily see into. I like being able to see my food cooked, and this is a sign that the food is cooked fresh and the ingredients aren't being scooped out of a can. My order came to $20 with tax for two pizzas. Not terrible, except one of them was FREE. So for two pizzas you're looking at $35. These pizzas better be out of this world if I'm paying twice as much for these pizzas as I would having Papa Johns delivered. They weren't. I've had sensational brick oven pizza before, and this wasn't it. The pizza was dry, light on toppings, and overpriced. I suppose if you're eating in the dining room, the ambiance helps you feel like you're getting more of a value, but if you put one of their pies side by side with one from Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, or even Dominoes, and did a blind taste-test, you'd probably pick one of those over Flippers'. The pizza just did not live up to anything I've been hearing. I understand the natural variance between pizzas based on toppings and who actually prepared it, but at this price point, I expected pizza heaven, not pizza purgatory. If flippers wants me to put my money where my mouth is at their establishment, they're gonna need to charge less money, or put more in my mouth.

The staff is very friendly. Everything is made fresh to order, which is great. I just recently went to the Flippers in Lake Buena Vista and didn't even know this one was right around the corner. I'll definitely be coming back to try another My Pie

Good food but dirty look at the boths when you walk in so dirty I almost walked out. The rest looked ok so I did stay but if it's not fixed I will leave.

I placed an order online for a child's pineapple pizza and ten inch chicken alfredo pizza with bacon added on. Needless to say, this pizza is overpriced at best. The children's pizza looked as if it was pre-frozen. Denny's makes a more presentable, and fluffier crust pizza! We ordered the original crust, not the thin crust. Regardless, there original crust is very thin. As far as the bacon we requested, there were a few slivers here and there of pre-cooked microwaved bacon- thin and shriveled. The bread sticks are descent. They remind me of 5-star garlic knots. I prefer 5-star garlic knots though.

This was my second trip to Flippers. During my first visit i tried a chicken salad which was very good and warranted a second trip to try something else. This time I ordered a meatball sandwich which was quite tasty. The meatballs were baked in a folded pizza dough along with tomato sauce and lots of cheese. Delicious and worth trying again. I had the lunch special so my sandwich came with a bag of chips. They do not offer cold sandwiches but the hot ones they offer sound delicious. I know I will stop here again.

We came in for lunch, as my husband and I weren't a big eater, we just ordered 2 appetizers. My husband had beer, sweet thing about them was giving him a new cold glass every extra beer he got. I ordered Toscana Cheese Bread. It's fresh, tasty with the tomato sauce. Just the dough was a bit thick for me. My husband got Meatballs Ricotta. The combination of all ingredients was perfect, the tomato sauce, fresh Brazil on the top, the garlic bread, meatballs, it's all good. You have to try it. Never try the pizza here, will try next time and update my review.

Ordered pizza for delivery and was a big disappointment! The pizza was soggy and looks like it needed to be cooked more. I gave 2 stars as it is tasty. I had to put in the oven to crisp it (even though it still became mush!) I won't go back to flippers :(

Wow. This was a surprise. This was our first time eating at a Flippers but I have to say it won't be our last. So here are the basics. I started with a garden salad which was for the most part unremarkable. It's pretty generic with lettuce, shredded carrots, sliced tomato, red onion and croutons all of which were nice and fresh though. The dressing was a well balanced red wine vinaigrette and the croutons were quite tasty and a harbinger of things to come. So let's talk pizza. We ordered the Vesuvio which comes with DOP certified San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, genoa salami, hot italian sausage, red onions, fresh garlic, kalamata olives, asiago & fresh oregano but we substituted roasted red peppers for the olives. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. The hot italian sausage definitely packed some nice heat but not so much that it overpowered. The mozzarella formed perfectly melted puddles with a slight chewiness and the creamy sweetness that you only get with fresh pulled cheese. But the crust - my goodness the crust was special. You could have served me a plate of crust only and I would have been happy. With such a depth of flavor, this dough is obviously allowed the time necessary to develop fully. There's a background of richness from olive oil and a subtle salty sweet overtone that balances it all out. Seriously, I'm excited about the leftovers in my refrigerator just typing this. I actually started salivating. My only complaint would be that the ingredients didn't hold together on the slices. It was hard to eat without stuff dropping off. But really who cares because I just picked up the pieces and kept devouring. Who knew? Flippers has leapfrogged it's way right onto the list of our all time favorite pizzas! Oh Yeah!

Disappointing. The service was attentive, but that was the only positive. I bought a Flip, or Flipper, or whatever the hell they name their restaurant after (basically a calzone except they cook it with the sauce inside). When I got it, it tasted like charcoal and smoke. Not a pleasant flavor when eating pizza. If I wanted smoky food, I would have gone and gotten myself some bbq. My wife ordered a flatbread and said it was bland. Real disappointment and if I'm doing pizza, there's much better in the same shopping plaza.

Ugh. No thanks! They serve cheap, waxy cafeteria style pizza here. You know the kind that the lunch ladies served in 2nd grade? Yup. Same stuff.
