Very relaxed environment...prompt, competent service, kick-ass Italian food with a more-than-decent wine selection. This place has been here since 2013 and tonight is my first rodeo here. This place has all the ingredients to make me a 250-lb alcoholic. Pray for me. Mussels Marinara Greek Salad with homemade dressing Garlic knots Meatball pizza 2008 Banfi Brunello di Montalcino Cannoli Cream-Stuffed Zeppolis Solid. Italian. Awesomeliciousness.

Ignorant rude staff and owners upon arrival I witnessed a patron questioning her bill and she was told by the owner it is what it is then told her to get out of his restaurant, forget this place all other reviews must have been posted by the business . NEVER GOING BACK EVER Mediocre food high prices and bad attitude

Awesome Italian food and really nice owners. You know it's going to be good when everyone eating there is obviously of Italian heritage. We just happened by on the way to the Keys. Pizza was great. Really nice owners, other wait staff seemed a little distracted, but i think they are the owners kids/nephews/etc. It's in a strip mall which may discourage some, but don't let that put you off.

Good place to go for some good Italian food, but the customer service is pretty bad, the workers there are really rude.

It's been a while since the family and I have been here....so the food is still awesome but the service was a little disappointing this time around...2 servers on and 8 tables was to much for them...I wanted to buy some holidays cookies but I just wanted to get out of there ..30 mins drive to get good food but ok service just turned me off..My 1st review on here about this place I guess must have been a fluke!!

We love New York Italian food, and we love Corelli's. The portions are huge and you get a salad as well. Monday night is "Opera Night" where you get some free entertainment as well. Sometimes there is a wait to be seated, but it is worth the wait.

This was our first visit. The service was good but the guys didn't seem to happy. Had that bah humbug attitude. I do have to say the the pizza, sausage and fresh mushroom, was totally fantastic. The sauce, OMG. The sausage and mushrooms, OMG. So fresh. So tasty. Made my stomach happy and my tongue smile. We also had 1/2 doz garlic rolls. They were really good. When in the area, this is our pizza home. Yum!

The absolute closest you will come to true New York Italian pizzeria!!! Awesome family owned and ran. Love the ambiance. A little pricey but worth every penny!!! I will go there again, and again, and again...

Five stars - easy!! Excellent food, flavor, fresh and authentic! Great for a date, or for the family. Very reasonably priced. This is a family owned business, and your dinner experience is truly their priority. We've been here 3 times, as it was very highly recommended to us. There is usually a short wait, doesn't matter what night you go it seems. But it has always been quick to be seated, and well worth it. We have not had their pizza yet, but the entrees we've tried have all been Great!

So much more than you expect. Also, don't let the fact that they don't write your order down bother you, the servers have incredible memory! My wife and I ran across this place on accident on our way back home from our anniversary vacation, and holy crap this place is awesome. It's kind of a hole in the wall, but the food is epic. I mean my wife ordered a fried calamari "appetizer" and they can out with a huge plate of it. This is homemade stuff too, not pre-breaded calamari in a bag from Sysco. Then I ordered a sub, and wife ordered a calzone. They were both gigantic! SO MUCH GOOD FOOD. We're gonna need a bigger boat. I mean box. A lot of boxes.l Also, though they're a pizzeria, the pizzas pale in comparison to all their other food.

Pleasant atmosphere! Spacious booths! Nice server very friendly and talkative. Very welcoming! Excellent pizza with thin crust nice sauce. We can't wait to reunite for dinner and try their pasta. I noticed a large wine selection so we should have no trouble having a nice glass of wine. Lunch crowd seemed very pleased as we were! We will definitely return!

My husband and I eat here all the time. This is a good old style Italian pizzeria and restaurant. The pizza is awesome and we have had some of their dinner entrees to boot. I ordered the sausage and pepper hero the other day (note I am a former New Yorker) and this is literally the best sausage and pepper sub I have had since moving to Florida 15 years ago. And the garlic knots are off the hook here. Ignore the reviewers who complain about grumpy service. This is not a fine dinning establishment - this is a place that serves great Italian food without breaking your wallet.

New to the area, & heard many great comments persuading us to try out Corelli's. One word, WOW!! This place may look small on the outside... But don't let looks turn you away! Inside it is filled with a friendly, family atmosphere serving up some out-of-this-world food! We started out with Meiomi Pinot noir, which was generously poured and very reasonably priced. I ordered the Eggplant Rollatini entree, while my fiancé ordered the SMALL (bigger than his head) calzone. These came out steaming hot and freshly made. Everything tasted authentic & delicious, including the garlic rolls and house salad w/ homemade dressing. We could rant and rave all night on the awesome service! We will definitely be frequenting this place!

If you're in Clermont and looking for delicious Italian food in a friendly relaxed environment, this is your place! I was a little skeptical after the outside pictures showed this little place in a strip mall and other reviews talked about the take out. I was not NOT at all disappointed! The owner was there and both he and his wife were super friendly from the minute I walked in. There is an Italian market up front with delicious looking baked good as well as wines and other Italian specialties! We were sipping our first glass of wine when they brought a plate of deliciously buttery warm garlic buns to the table! I dove in right away and they were scrumptious! I ordered the lasagna which was meaty and cheesy goodness, it came with a small house salad too! I took the leftovers and a cannoli back home to hubby! He was a very happy boy, the cannoli was creamy and the shell crispy and fresh. Support small / local business! You won't be disappointed!

Wow. Even after reading the reviews of others stating how surprisingly grand Corelli's is before visiting myself, I am pleasantly taken aback by its charm. The first thing I noticed as I stepped inside the entryway was the stereotypical Italian restaurant music--or so I thought. As I walked around the corner into the seating area from the foyer, I made a magical discovery: though the genre may have fit the stereotype of cliché faux-Italian eateries, it was far from stereotypical. It was live. Sitting in the corner was a man playing smooth saxophone all through the night while different peoples dined. The music alone was enough to win my heart, but it was far from the only good thing about Corelli's. The entire atmosphere was soothingly warm with just a hint of rough New York attitude in the decor and staff, balancing the little hole-in-the-wall's sweetness with a pinch of salt. The flavor of the experience was delicious before even consuming their actual intended edible products--which, by the way, were incredible. Corelli's is now officially my favorite Italian restaurant, hands down.

Visited this restaurant one night with my boyfriend who comes here often for lunch. It was awesome! It's very unassuming being in the Kmart shopping center, but the atmosphere inside is quite nice. They sell bottles of their sauce and salad dressing; the latter is delicious! We shared a Greek salad that had a ton of feta on it-yum! But they use black olives instead of kalamatta olives which I'm not a fan of. We had a MASSIVE calzone filled with ricotta, mozzarella and spinach. It was very tasty. I ordered the chicken piccata which was good, but would have been better with more lemon in my opinion. The cannoli was excellent! A great place for Italian in clermont and definitely one of the best restaurants in the area for good, reasonably priced food. I'll definitely be back!

  • Paula O.

The food was delicious and service above par. I read many review before going and it seems like may they had read them too... They are definitely the stereotypical "NY type attitude," but it seemed that a strong effort was made to be polite, chat about where I was from and she talked about where she was from (the owner). The food was delish and they were very polite. I highly recommend!

My daughter's favorite place to eat. The food is superb due to the high quality of the ingredients. The owners are wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Best Italian place around!!

Hubby has been raving about this restaurant for the longest time, and he finally brought me here. He wasn't exaggerating!! Wonderful pizza, light perfect dough and great service! It's on our favorite italian list. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.

This is one of Better pizza places in Clermont. Nice causal ambiance, relaxing music in the background, not too loud to interrupt table conversation. The pizza is amazingly delicious but as far as the customer service, I would say it needs work, nothing to brag abou;maybe it was just a long day. All in all if you feel for a pizza and a place to rest your feet and relax a bit, this is the place.

This will be my go-to Italian joint in Clermont. Every now and then, when you are on a low carb diet, you get a pasta craving. On cheat days, this will be my destination. I got pizza here the first time, and the wife ordered the pene alla vodka. She likes a good vodka sauce and they do a great job here. Service was quick and friendly, and they had the whole family working there. I definitely want to return and try some of their other pasta dishes. My pizza was delicious and I ate on it for two days. I ordered a medium and could barely get 3 slices in, so I had to get a box. They have a great topping selection and the prices are pretty fair. I had a custom 3 topping (pepperoni, garlic, and jalapeno) and it was awesome. It's not the best pizza I ever had, but I had pizza on my mind and it was definitely good. I'll be back the next time I get the pasta craving.

OMG! The best Italian food on the planet! Run don't walk to Corelli's. I am Italian and from NY and very picky about my Pizza and Italian food. This is homemade with love.. The pizza is real NY style!!! So excited we found this amazing Family owned Restaurant.. The meatballs were fabulous and the dessert is amazing...Don't miss out on this delicious Gem!!!

Awesome tasting pizza. Nice & cheesy. Definitely the best pizza I've had in CLERMONT. I also have learned to appreciate the real Italian atmosphere. They don't have bad service by any means, it's mostly that they don't sit their and take it when people get all "high maintenance" & you know what, I like that!

  • Heather R.

I wasn't very impressed tonight. After appetizers and the pizza were delivered we still had no drinks. Even after asking twice. The kids got refills on drinks after stopping a waiter, but my soda sat empty on the table and ignored. Whether the following statement is true every time or not, I'm not sure, but I've witnessed it twice now , it was very obvious regulars were treated with better service, and friendlier attitudes. A smile goes a long way when running a business! I'm not sure I'd be willing to try again a third time.

I need to find another pizza shop by my job. Though their special is awesome. 2 huge slices and a can of soda for 4.99. Their customer service sucks. Everyone always has an attitude and barely acknowledges you when you walk in. I will not be going back.

Visited last night for the first time, because I've heard nothing but good. Being Italian from NY, it's hard to find legit Italian food down here. This place has it all. Their garlic knots are amazing. The Stromboli is just how my grandma used to make, only 100 times bigger. Their gravy (sauce) is delicious. Their chicken parm pizza is great. The stuffed zeppoli...there are no words lol. They were so amazingly delicious, it kinda blew my mind lol. The owner even helped us decide what to get and was really nice. This is now my go to spot - I can't imagine eating at Carrabba's or Olive Garden anymore.

If you're looking for some great tasting pizza I strongly recommend you visiting this establishment. The only downside is I wish it was located in downtown Orlando so I won't have to travel so far.

Best Italian food I've had in ages! So glad a friend recommended this place bc it doesn't look like much from the outside and we probably wouldn't have stopped in otherwise. Sooooo glad we did! Delicious!

Just finished a fantastic meal at this quaint Italian restaurant in Clermont. My father and I had the Linguine with clam sauce (white). Absolutely delicious!!! You will not have to dig for the clams; they are abundant and delicious. The serving was enough for lunch and dinner the next day. Served with a salad and their homemade dressing. The dressing was so good, we bought a bottle to take home. This is a family run restaurant and they treat you like family. We will definitely be going back to try more things on the menu.

Apparently the food is good based on other reviews. Unfortunately this place won't get a dime out of me. Went there at 8:25pm on a Friday night and experienced the worst customer service in a very long time, maybe ever. After the lady at the register helped the young girl in front of me (they seemed to know her), she just stood there like a statue. Finally I asked to place an order and the last took the pad to start writing it down. I started to order a cheesesteak for my son who likes it very plain - lettuce, ketchup, mayo, and mustard only. As I was going through the order, the lady cut me off by saying "I don't know how to do all that" and I heard the overweight cook start saying ""Yeah, we're not doing all that". All that? You mean putting lettuce and some condiments on top of a F'n cheesesteak??? I was willing to let that go as the lady told me she could only put mayo and mustard on it (???). My wife wanted a salad, when I ordered the sale the lady asked the same guy if they had any salads ready and he replied they had to make them which she then repeated and said "I don't know what we're going to do, we close at 9pm" then I saw a guy move and WOW - There was an almost full open bag of lettuce!!!! At this point I was pissed, not only did I have to deal with an inept lady who was incapable of taking a simple order, arrogance from both the guy and the lady, but when I saw the lettuce that was the final straw. Now they're just lazy. Maybe if the guy cooking adopted a healthier lifestyle he would have the energy to do his job instead of standing there spouting attitude and being to lazy to take lettuce out of a bag to out in a to go container with some tomatoes or on top of a sandwich. You couldn't pay me to go back to this place unless it's to give them a piece of my mind in person. When I told a friend about this, she said "oh yeah, they're A-holes" so apparently they have a history of acting this way. There's many other options for Italian food. I'm from Philly and while we (North Eastern people) do tend to have attitudes, theirs is over the top and unnecessary.

Now owned by the most obnoxious low-class scumbag sleazy filthy citizens in all of Clermont. Food is disgusting and EXTREMELY unhealthy. It's probably the biggest disappointment in the entire region, if not state. The floors are dirty, and the restaurant reeks of a foul smell. Their motto should be "NY Pizza with a NY Attitude." The obnoxiousness that exists inside their restaurant is astounding. The experience eating there was completely ruined watching the owners be absolute jerks to customers who walked in. Truly the "Soup Nazi" of Clermont, except without humor, or nice food. It won't take long to figure out which lady owns the restaurant as she will be barking orders like a pit-bull dog, she looks just like Rosie O'Donnell and acts like her too. This business is an embarrassment to the charming city of Clermont. The other reviews must only have been from experiences when the owner was sober or wasn't around to aggravate customers. I am boycotting this restaurant and hope it goes out of business and it is replaced by a thankful owner who appreciates your business. To be very clear, this place is a total disgrace. Clermont is worse off by having this restaurant.

Stopped by for lunch today, for starters, they gave me a free house salad with a homemade vinagarette that was quite tasty. Also started me with garlic knots, that were amazing! I had the Penne alla vodka (10.95), for my main course and it was some of the best I've ever had. I'd like to mention the service was fast and the staff was super friendly. It felt like I was home. I will be back for sure!

  • Aimee S.

While the food was decent, the service was horrible. We spent a lot of time waiting. Service was very unfriendly and slow. Our drinks were not refilled and we were never followed up on. No one smiled or made any type of conversation. Employees spent a lot of time at the tables of "regulars" talking.

Come hungry, and leave full! We stopped in for the first time today and will definitely be back. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. I had the spaghetti with sausage and meatball -- that meatball is out of this world. My boyfriend had the small special stromboli -- and we will be having it for lunch tomorrow! The portions are huge, and the prices at fantastic. Can't wait to bring more people to this family joint!

  • G S.

Great house salad, glass house wine and meatball Parm sub was awesome $18.70 for everything a tiny bit high for lunch for me, but I got 1/2 my sub for dinner

  • Mike L.

Whoa! I am Impressed! Clean open kitchen, beautiful dining room.. Excellent food, very reasonable prices and the owners are very nice. I can't forget to mention the portions are HUGE. I have yet to try the pizza, but I ordered the baked ziti and eggplant parmigiana. the sauce was very flavorful, and the cheeses were all of high quality. They cook a separate pot of marinara for vegetarians like me and they have cool specials every day. I WILL be coming back. The experience here was very pleasant.

I was looking for a new pizza place and saw the Yelp reviews for Corelli's. I bought two New York style pizzas, one cheese only and one with 3 toppings. Pizzas looked and tasted really good and as far as I'm concerned the prices are low. Medium pizza might be a little larger than a Large pizza from a chain pizza place-starts at 9.99.well worth it. Friendly people and a very nice dining room. Going back again soon to check out something other than pizza. Thanks Yelpers, you did not lead me astray:)

As authentic as it gets! The family owners are the nicest people you will meet! DELICIOUS!

The food is absolutely delicious! I had the "small" Stromboli. It was huge! I could only eat 3/4 of it. My wife had a Greek Salad. She shared some with me. It was also very good. If you're looking for a small Mom and Pop style Italian restaurant I highly suggest you give this place a try.

First time here with family and it was awesome! Great food, great service, we will be back!!! Cheese ravioli, spaghetti & meat balls, and chicken Francese....all amazing!!! Can't forget the garlic rolls and salad to start.....I think I'm getting hungry again!!!

I love, love, love this restaurant. The family just closed their restaurant in Fort Lauderdale a few weeks ago and I miss their place already! They are so friendly because they love what they do and the food is just outstanding. You won't go wrong with this place and I am sure you will return after your first visit. Everything on the menu is great and the pizza is the best (I'm from NY)! Not to mention the wine selection is the best!

For the excellent service and traditional Italian fare (mixed with [yuch] burgers) this newest Clermont Italiano restaurant would rate a 5 if the ambiance and musica were more traditional. Not Olive Garden stuff (again, yuch) just more Italian. Specifics are the wait staff who made you feel like family immediately by using our names. The food was traditional Italian, meaning not overly Americanized. The portions could feed two and were priced for singles. Very reasonable and well worth every cent (or lire).

Awesome food, great service!!! I'm not a huge Italian fan and I just kind of stumbled on this place. Every trip keeps me coming back wanting to try more on the menu. From the pizza to the pasta to the subs, I am fully satisfied. This is the kind of place in which the food has you craving for it when you're wondering what to eat. The service and the staff make you feel welcomed and part of their family.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
