This place is kind of tucked in the back of a shopping plaza with a Winn Dixie and a Beall's Outlet - so it doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic. It is a standard quick-service Chinese food restaurant. The prices are good and the food is prepared quickly and tastes fresh. The reason I didn't give a full 5 stars - any maybe this is petty - but it is expected that a fortune cookie comes with the meal. I love fortune cookies. I specifically requested a handful of cookies. I got home and all I had in my bag was the one that comes with the meal. COOKIE FAIL.

Thought I would give this place a chance . Well walked in and the young kid behind the counter could not answer anything and when your out of white meat chicken on a Saturday night at 7 that's not good! Didn't even want to give it a try!

Would give zero stars if I could. From out of state and looking for a Chinese delivery place to feed entire family after a long day at Disney. Unfamiliar with area. So give them our resort address and instead Of checking my location they took my order. Then I call to check on my delivery status and they say the driver is lost and he had to drive 20 miles to deliver my food. I don't know the area but somehow I was to blame. If my delivery is too far, then tell me and I can order from somewhere closer. He said he can't find my resort using his gps. He asks me to meet him at a gas station. We have been drinking at resort hence the use of a DELIVERY service so we don't have to drink and drive. Ultimately 2 hrs waiting for food, we decide to meet up with him so we can feed hungry kids and elderly parents. We call them and they tell us that they are already heading back to the restaurant because they can't find us. I ask him to stop and give me an address to find him so that we can at least get our food. He will not. It's already 1030 pm and too late to order somewhere else. I plead with him to just stop and meet me somewhere so I will have some food for my family and tell him I have elderly parents that have not eaten and he laughs at me and said driver almost back at restaurant. He never told me as I was calling resort front desk to give him directions that he was already heading back. Heartless uncaring unprofessional restaurant.

Vegetarian options are GO! My wife and I were almost fooled by the imitation chicken used in the veggie general tso's. The food is very good there and this IS my local Chinese place. Try the fake meat, seriously... You would never be able to tell it isn't real (which could also be a warning to vegetarians sensitive to that sort of thing). Either way, this place won't be a disappointment, I just recommend you take out, as the seating area is kinda small.

Routinely, when I am too busy to cook I order up some of China Star's Lo Mein or Veggie Mu Shu. Their staff is super friendly and always are happy to see me when I come to pick up my order.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
