After several tries, we probably won't go here again. Food is still hot and service is still quick but the kitchen is dirty and the staff is no longer friendly. Today the place was staffed by only two middle aged men and there were no other customers in sight, so I suspect that business has been slow. Mandarin and Hunan dishes are very bland and Szechuan entrees are generally not Szechuan in flavor or composition. Breaded items are still WAY too thick with breading. And you'll get lots of cheap ingredients and few expensive ones, no matter what time of day it is or what you order. You'll find no complexity or even tradition in the flavors of any of the offerings. We don't know if this is because it's New York Style, but the entrees and even the appetizers have been disappointing every time since our first visit and we just don't want to eat lots of onions and peppers anymore when what we'd ordered was shrimp. Not a good value, any way you look at it. At this point, we'd love to find a West Coast Style Chinese restaurant in Florida, even if we have to drive 100 miles to get there!

Really good Chinese food and awesome lunch special pricing. I'm vegetarian and they always help me out when it comes to ordering something that will actually be satisfying!

First of all, this place has NO ADDED MSG. Of course they can't take out the msg that is already in the ingredients that they use, but they don't add any more. Whole place is clean. Eating area and the kitchen. Looked like it opened yesterday. Had the honey garlic chicken. I didn't really taste the garlic, just honey part. So it was more like honey chicken. So good though. Portions are generous and the price was on the money. Love this place. my go-to for chinese!

So I saw that this place had 4 stars on yelp. I have no idea why. We ordered the General Tso chicken, Sweet and sour Chicken and an order of crab Rangoon.. the food is as average at best. While the food wad hot, the fried rice was flavorless, the sauce on the General Tso chicken was too sweet and the sweet abd sour sauce was horrible. It looked and tasted like it had been watered down. It was a thin pink liquid, not the thick red it is normally. The crab rangoon tasted like it didnt contain any crab at all and only had sweet cream cheese in them. The food is mediocre but the portions were huge. 2 lunches ate plenty big enough for 4 people. Finally, within an hour or so of eating here, 2 of my party is running for the bathroom. The only one not affected is the hubby with the rock stomach.

Wanted chinese food! Saw this when we went to the grocery the other day. As it is just down the street from the rv park we are staying at, thought we would give it a go. Called in our order, pork chop suey combination dinner and a pork lo mein combination dinner. Combos come with fried rice and an egg roll. Serving sizes were generous. Egg rolls were delicious, standard fried rice. Hubby loved his chop suey. I was enjoying my lo mein when all of a sudden I got some grit. Ahhhh, yuck. Probably from veggies that didn't get washed thoroughly enough. I didn't say anything to my hubby or call the restaurant as we had already put our comfy clothes on. Will I give them another chance? Don't know, probably. Flavor and convenience were a big plus. Guess we will find out in a few months when we come back through this way.

This was my first time eating here. I was drawn into it by their sign of NO MSG! It's difficult to find American Chinese food places without MSG. So this place gets a huge high five for no MSG. I ordered the Sesame Chicken with rice & Steamed dumplings. Everything tasted great, seemed to have no MSG, was hot, great portions, & the staff member was friendly. I thought the prices were reasonable like other fast-food Chinese restaurants. I experienced no problems here or problems with my food. I was skeptical to try this place after reading some Yelp reviews. My experienced was fine. I will definitely return in the near future.

I really don't understand why this place is so highly reviewed. Must be because everybody around this area is either 100 yrs old and don't have functional taste buds or they must be a tourist because the food in this place sucks compared to the reviews it has. It's ok Chinese food if you're starving and there's nothing else to eat. Other than that save your money or go somewhere else if you want good Chinese food.

So far this has my vote for best Chinese food in this immediate area. My son and BF also agree. The food has great flavor. I LOVE egg foo young and that will be my next item to try out.

The thing I like most about this place, it is clean. Always *by the time you get home the food is still hot, and the portions are decent. *service is good- never once had an issue and when I call in my order via phone it's on time.

MSG has terrible immediate side effects on our (& your) body. It is The standard in/on nearly every edible product out there, grocery and restaurant. Trying to find a quality item without MSG can be daunting. And when you Do find one, it is a treasure that value, share, and make a part of your diet. Bamboo Garden is such a treasure!! I shop at Publix every week. I'd prefer to shop at Whole Foods yet the distance and drive is too much. Near Publix is Bamboo Garden. The sign clearly says "NO MSG". Having been lied to by other Chinese restaurants in our area, I was very weary of this sign.About a year ago, I bought a couple of our favorite items for take-out from them. Yup, MSG. That was more than a year ago. Now they really DO NOT HAVE MSG! It is such a comfort that, after eating the food we are Not bloated by water retention, excess sodium, and other side effects of the cheap commercial additive. We are actually pleantly sated and comfy afterward. We are regulars. As soon as I walk in, I am given a freindly greeting and the woman behind the counter practically knows half of my order before I tell her! The continual line of people coming and going and calling is testimony to "NO MSG".

Tonight my husband fulfilled our Chinese food craving at Bamboo Garden. We had an array of food my husband tried the appetizer boneless spare ribs and the steamed dumplings. The boneless as spareribs were very good but the dumpling were just average. We like to have a little of a lot and then have leftovers the next day so p, we ordered the veggie lo mein, curry shrimp with white rice, and vegetable moo shu. The lo mein was so-so. My husband wasn't happy with the lo mein noodles. The curry shrimp was great with big Jumbo Shrimp and great curry spice. The vegetable moo shu was the rock star of the meal. They also threw in some free egg rolls that my husband says are the best. The food was piping not when we got it home and the cashier was very friendly. We will definitely return to Bamboo Garden.

The food is very good!! We order at least once a week for take out, just wish they would recognize their loyal customers by throwing in a free item once in awhile. There are other places we could go but chose to come here because we like it, hey, an egg roll now and then isn't asking much when I'm spending +$20 a week with them.

We use this take-out regularly and have found it to be very good. Very friendly staff, clean and efficient. We enjoy their egg foo young (have tried: roast pork, vegie & beef) Also enjoyed Chicken w.Broccoli, Chop Suey & Roast Pork Lo Mein. All very good and try toping it off with an order of Fried Krab Rangoon. If your looking for something special I recommend "Happy Family" individual meal. Their food is always hot. Yummmmm ! If you go there, tell them "Charlie sent you !", they won't know what your talking about but it sounds cool anyway. Enjoy a great meal.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
