It is a Panera and the food quality is consistent with the other ones I've been to. I will say that I was impressed with the friendly staff and quick service. On a busy lunch day, they handled everything with ease and a smile. The tables were cleaned quickly and food was prepared promptly. It is a large store and there is a lot of seating, including outside seating for the 3 months in Florida that sitting outside sounds like a good idea. Salads are fresh and the lettuce is crisp. Bread comes hot out of the oven often since they stay so busy. All in all, a nice Panera. Parking seems to be a huge issue. I circled for several minutes before finding a spot. I'm sure I'll go back but not at the height of the lunch rush.

Love the mozzarella and tomato sandwich here. Even when it's packed I'm in and out fast. Service is usually nice and the place is always clean

This is your typical Panera Bread. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Service was quick.

I stopped in here late Wednesday afternoon after working most of the day for a little something to tide me over before dinner and also for some life giving caffeine. This Panera was pretty nice inside - and spacious to boot. Lots of different kinds of seating: regular tables and chairs, comfy couches and matching chairs with coffee tables, high bar style tables with stools. A number of people were in Panera using the free Wifi internet access. I asked if they had any low fat baked goods or pastries. They were all out of the one item they normally carry - a low fat blueberry muffin. So instead I elected to try the Tart Cherry Scone, and a double espresso. Wow! The scone was delic! I could have eaten a dump truck full of those! Absolutely yummy! I may have to go in search of those again! :-)

Headed for a long business lunch with some colleagues after a customer meeting - needed somewhere with wifi that wouldn't be cranky when we sat for 2+ hours. This place was the only restaurant within 10 minutes that we could think of that could fit the bill. We arrived a bit after 11, and the place was fairly dead. We grabbed a table and got to work...about 30 minutes later, the place was hopping! Around 12:30, it did start to calm back down. They did deal with the crowds very well. They hadn't run out of any soups when I went to place my order (this always happens to me at Panera, so that was a nice bonus!). The register staff were friendly. After ordering, our four meals popped up around 7 minutes later (missing the sandwich for one colleague - boo!). And everything was tasty. They had staff coming around picking up plates, a nice touch. I'd definitely go back on my next visit. Just remember that the parking lot isn't really large enough to hold the lunch rush, so you may have to circle around a few times before you find a spot.

Panera has the most delicious bagels you will ever eat. Their Asiago breakfast sandwich is to die for as well. It's on a Asiago cheese bagel with Applewood smoked bacon Vermont white cheddar and egg and it tastes like a piece of heaven. The service is also exceptional and really quick. I know panera also does a lot of charity work which makes me like them even more. However, I am not a fan of their lunch and dinners. I like to eat and the portions aren't enough for me. As long as I think of it as just a breakfast place, I love it!

Forgot to put one order (mine, of course) in the bag. All I got was a come back (for a cold soup and sandwich? No thanks). No offer to deliver a fresh round to me on their time and dime. So, I was out $9.75 today. Thanks.

Food is always good, staff is always friendly, but the parking lot is so small! We bypass this place a lot out of fear of not being able to park and missing out on getting something to eat for lunch.

Super fast and friendly service make this location a great example for other Panera restaurants. The parking can be a little dicey as it seems to become full quickly, but once inside, they usually have most of the registers open and the food comes out lightning fast. Also, as I have mentioned on another Panera review, Panera is the only chain that offers a truly dairy-free pumpkin spice coffee.

I was attending a conference in Clearwater this past week, and made a habit of stopping each morning at the Panera Bread on Ulmerton for a cup of hot tea. I generally avoid chain eateries, but there's not much else located in this neighborhood, so you just pick and choose carefully. Panera is located in the Feather Sound area just opposite the Carillon office park. The store is easy to spot, although parking can be a real bear. If you happen to turn the wrong way when leaving the parking lot you can plan on an extended tour of the Feather Sound area as you weave your way back around. The inside of the store is long and narrow, and during peak times there is a wait for an open table. To your right as you walk through the front door you'll see the café area with high tops and bar stools. These seats seem to fill up very quickly with people who've brought their laptops and tablets, and are enjoying access to the free WiFi. To your left are the tables, and during lunchtime there is generally a wait for an open seat. In the back left corner is the "Community Room" which can be closed off for group meetings, but otherwise stands open as another seating area. The ordering counter is L-shaped with the breakfast sandwiches, pastries, coffee and tea ordered from the shorter leg of the L, and the lunch and dinner counter located along the longer leg of the counter. The morning rush seems to move quickly as people are ordering bagels and pastries along with their beverage of choice and zipping back out the door. The breakfast sandwiches take a bit longer so those people stand off to the side and wait. This seems like a typical Panera Bread in terms of their selection and speed of service, but I docked them for not cleaning the tables in between patrons and for the horrific fiasco of a parking lot.

I have went here several times. I really love their bread that you can buy. I'm from Germany and I really have to say that I have tried so many different kinds of bread from different places and it just never tasted like the ones you can buy at bakery's in Germany that are everywhere. But this panera bread comes the closest to how a bread should taste (for me). I really like their flatbreads and sandwiches too. I had a few different ones and they were all very good. I never tried the soup or pasta yet which I know I will one day. I had a salad one day but I didn't really like it like their sandwiches. I don't really know why, maybe I picked the wrong dressing. The croissants are AWESOME PEOPLE!! And the coffee and the tropical hibiscus tea! I just really like this place. Yes, it's true that at lunch time it gets very busy, but it just never seem like it's a stressful or you have to wait too long. The atmosphere in there by the way is always nice. And I just always feel like I put something good and healthy in my stomach, just like how food is supposed to be.

Panera is always a hit with my family. The "You Pick 2" combos always work out well, and everyone gets a variety. My mom was pleased that she was able to use her rewards by entering her phone # (even though we're from Cali), but she was very displeased that the bakery reward item wouldn't be brought out with the meal. She had to walk over to a separate counter to get it, and wait until someone came to the counter. Definitely a lack of customer service there. I love their teas! A very nice group meeting spot here, too.

I absolutely love the chicken avocado Cobb salad! It's so flavorful and fresh that I truly enjoy it... And I'm not a salad person! Can't go wrong at Panera whether it's salad, soup or a tasty pastry!

My husband and I went in Saturday night (5/2/15) just to purchase a few bakery items to go. We waited at the counter for a bit when a girl came over and said they were closed. I explained we didn't want to eat there, we just wanted to pick up some baked goods. She said we couldn't. The doors were completely unlocked and there were several tables of people still eating, plus a TON of baked goods still available. I don't understand what would have been so difficult about selling us a few muffins and cookies and then letting us be on our way. Perhaps the employees get to take home what doesn't sell? I love Panera bread, but I'll be avoiding this location.

Panera is just one of those places that you know its an oldie but goodie! 5 years ago I moved to Tampa Florida and discovered Panera and a magical world opened up to me. They've got Yummy pastries, hot cookies, atrisan bread, sandwiches, salad and soup in bread bowls. If you don't want a bread bowl you can always op for a tiny loaf of delicious bread with your soup. This particular location is closest to where I work right off of Ulmerton Road soon as you exit 275. The staff is always very friendly even when its early in the morning. The restaurant is always super clean the bathrooms are immaculate and the food is always on point. They have a conference room with doors where you can hold meetings at, wifi and plenty of outlets if you need to bring your laptop or any other mobile device that needs charging. All around I have to say that I pretty much like it better than Starbucks oh my gosh! They have more space than the general Starbucks the lighting is brighter the atmosphere is a little more friendlier and if you haven't been to a Panera I have no idea what rock you been living under. Its awesome!

Panera is Panera is Panera. Great food and coffee. Clean restaurant. This is a good one because the employees are nice. There's turkey chili on the menu right now that is just phenomenal. You must try it before it's off the menu. The reason this one is a 4 for me is getting to it is just so awkward that I rarely choose it over others.

I stopped in here to pick up some sweets (yes...I am guilty of this) for the office and was able to get in and out quickly. The employees were very nice, I waited maybe 15 seconds in line, 1 person took my order and the other bagged my items and I was out the door in a matter of minutes. There was plenty of parking, the inside seemed nice and clean from what I saw and I will definitely be returning here.

Very good bbq chicken flatbread. The soup "creamy chicken and rice" wasn't so great. I came here the next day and ordered a steak and cheer sandwich ; all I can say is, wow... The meat was pink and mushy!!! Gross. Thank god I don't live in Tampa Florida otherwise I'd definitely speak to the manager. They have ruined Panera Bread for me.

Panera is a place that has a really great hold on the breakfast market with their different varieties on bagels, pastries and souffles! I personally love the asiago bagel sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese! Yum! I also like the cheese danish. They used to have an apple danish that I was in love with but it's no more. They also have great lunch options also with their soups, salads and sandwiches! The quality and quantity of food you get here rivals any fast food joint!

The parking lot gets packed on a weekday during the lunch rush hour (you cannot find a parking spot), but it is clean and orderly. A typical Panera Bread. I actually did not like the food I got this time. I got a caesar salad/broccoli cheese soup lunch combo. I find it weird that they have no crackers for the broccoli cheese soup. It would have tasted a lot better. The only thing they could offer was croissants. Their croissants are already cheesy so it didn't really work. I do enjoy their croissants, which are obviously homemade, but they are much too large. You can either look awkward and try to stuff one whole in your mouth or try to bite at it. They should think about giving bread with the soup. Their Caesar salad is basically lettuce and caesar dressing plus croutons. I usually like Caesar salad, so I was surprised how much I didn't like this one. I don't like it when I realize that I'm only eating lettuce and this salad made me think that. If this was any other place I would give it two stars, but I usually like Panera Bread so I think this time might have been a fluke. Either that or I need to try another meal.

Love this location. Everyone is super friendly, food is great and restaurant is clean! I like to come with my son on the weekend at night for a quick dinner. We'll bring books or play mad libs while we eat. I normally do a soup or salad. With a green tea. YUM! Bought the new Italian sandwich to go for my husband so he would have something to eat when he got off work and he ate the whole thing, so I'm guessing it was really good!

This is a great Panera. They get super slammed at lunch but every employee seems to know what they're doing so this location handles a crowd well. I love their food in general and have never had bad food from this, or any other Panera location come to think of it. Minus one star because the parking situation, IS a situation at lunch and can be a problem. The layout of the parking lot in general is weird and too small.

This is a panera I frequent and it is the same as any Panera. Good service and good food. The grilled cheese sandwich may be for the kids but with a bowl of soup it is delish! I do find this to be a more fancy version of Panera as it is near feathersound. Great place to go for a friendly get together or just to get some work done.

Love this Panera... Staff is better than other local sites. Packed during lunchtime but I just park in the hotel lot right next door. Any problem with my order is always taken care swiftly and without attitude. Staff cleans tables constantly and even grab your plate if your done eating. Great place to study in the evenings and weekends. Just wish the booths had electrical outlets.

Very large and well laid out store. Private room rental is a nice feature plus the WiFi. It has the benefits of an atmosphere like a Starbucks where you can sit and work all day, plus a real menu with a variety of options that go well beyond coffee and pastries.

We use thier rental room for our monthly meetings. I'm not in charge of payments, but I know that our reciepts for dinner are counted against any outstanding charges. Quick service when we are there, but generally have to ask others to leave even when the room is reserved.

I came in for an Italian Combo at 1200 and they had already run out of the asiago bread for the sandwich.

This is a large Panera, great service & food, it does have outside seating, but when we were out there in the evening there was no outside lighting. It also has a seperate meeting room that can rented for $50. - 2hours, $20, ea. hr after that, what you purchase for food goes againt the fee.

Panera Bread is great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even just a snack. For breakfast, I get bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. It's very good but just as a reminder, they don't serve breakfast all day. When I come here for lunch or dinner, I usually stick with the classic grilled cheese. I get it on either focaccia bread or ciabatta bread and instead of American cheese I get cheddar cheese. For dessert here, you pretty much can't go wrong with anything. My all-time favorite is the orange scone, and and if you ask for the nutrition information, it's one of the healthiest choices. I also love the cinnamon roll, coffee cake, chocolate chip and short bread cookies, the muffin tops, and they always have great seasonal items. The bagels here are good and they always have a great variety no matter what time of the day you come here, but I prefer the bagels at Frida's Cafe and Bakery down the street on Ulmerton Road or Stew's House of Bagels on Ulmerton and Belcher. The staff are always kind and the food always comes out quick even when they're really crowded during lunch hour.

One of the best Panera's in the area! Very quick service and friendly employees. I've been going to this location for over 7 years. The only two things that need improvement: keeping the coffee grounds out of the dispenser (sporadic) and having crisper lettuce, which is a problem with all the locations in the area. If you are in the mood for soup, salad or a sandwich, they offer a really good value, especially for Dinner.

The service was very friendly at Panera despite it being around lunch. But the cheese and strawberry danish that I had were distinctly subpar. They were dry and tasteless.
