always good, stopping in with friends for their Soup & Salad lunch is one of my favorites. The restaurant in Palm Harbor always has courteous servers and plenty of parking.

I had the tilapia with shrimp on top Olive Garden style. 400 calories with broccoli. It was delicious and not too filling. Definitely would get again. Service was excellent.

The woman seating us was wearing a lot of perfume. Our server wasn't bad but only checked in once during the meal Salad dressing was very salty, borderline inedible The breadsticks haven't changed over the years More fun eating here than waiting at the nearby DMV

Lunch - ordered Chicken Parmigiana. Wasn't super impressed with it - the breaded chicken breast seemed like it was a frozen patty thrown in a deep fryer. Same old salad and bread sticks although I'm really happy we ordered the salad dressing on the side because it was so salty. The interior of this OG location is nice - sat in a nice tucked away area which didn't have the open air feel of most OG's. Server was good.

The food gets 4 stars, the service 2 stars, there you have 3 stars. We always sit in the bar and we always have crappy service or some dullard with no personality. This visit was no exception. We walked in mid afternoon and sat on the wrong side of the bar bc the ppl that came in behind us got a great server and we had to sit there and listen to this jovial lad have actual conversation with his customers like he was glad to be there! And his customers were so deprived of good service when they go there that they enjoyed him immensely and we got to hear that Mr. Personality works 1 shift every 2 weeks. Olive garden needs to start hiring some more people like that one guy. Anyway we had an awful server, great food as always and from now on I think we'll just do take out. Definitely not going back for more of the bar action.

Seems like no matter what location you try an Olive Garden, you get consistent decor, friendly service and good food. This location was no exception. Brandy was our server and she was friendly and efficient. The salad was fresh and tasty along with all the appetizers and main dishes.

Just had a wonderful birthday meal for my daughter but shocked to be charged $7.79 for her birthday cake. When did they start charging to celebrate?

This OG is great. Went with group of 12, everyone order something different and no one had any issues with food. No missed orders and plenty of bread sticks.(alot of OGs have started bringing out minimum bread sticks) Salads were plentiful too. Best part; they don't force gratuity on large groups. We always tip more than forced gratuities, just don't like when restaurants add to bill. Others should do same and servers would probably make more.

I'm sure you have been to Olive Garden so you know what the food tastes like so I will rate the service and cook of the food. I have been to this location several times, every time the waitress has been amazing. They are nice, caring and considerate so I have always tipped well. The cook of the food has been fairly good. I have only had an issue one time, my sons pizza was under cooked. Not only were they nice about it but they made a whole new pizza for him. If you are considering this location, I recommend it.

Went tonight for parmesean baked shrimp.....was very bland. Tried their polenta....was covered in sauce....more sauce than polenta and the olives were awful....had to pick them out. Will not be back soon....

I love their new $9.99 special! Choice if pasta, sauce, and meatballs or shrimp. The best part is the dessert that comes with it!

It's Olive Garden. Like Burger King to McDonald's ... Perkins to Cracker Barrel ... Home Depot to Lowe's. You will never confus the two & will go here but only if the other one isn't close by.

Dear Olive Garden, Sorry we haven't seen each other over the past few years. Last time we were together, I told you I needed my space to see others. It wasn't you, it was me. While I've been gone, I've had a string of romances with other Italians. You've always known I'm smitten by their warm embrace with sauces, the sweetness of tomato balanced by spices and herbs, the delicateness of fresh ingredients, and pasta cooked al dente....tough, yet tender, just the way I need it. And some of those affairs were meals of passion, while others left me cold and empty. But as I discovered, I need excitement and I never got that from you. And I'm sorry, but I can't resist variety in my food love life. But when I saw you last night, I was reminded why I used to enjoy your company. Just as much as you don't give me excitement, there's something to be said for you just being what you've always been. Let's just tell it like it is. You're convenient. And you're reliable. I call, and you always answer. I wasn't ready to go any further, so I figured it was best just to take it slow, and see what happens. I decided to just play it safe. And what's safer than your soup, salad and breadsticks? Now I'll be honest, your salad? The way you grate parmesan reggiano is always a nice touch....so it was all good, but I've had better. And your pasta fagioili? I've always liked your flavor, but this time it just wasn't as hot as it used to be. And is just warm pasta fagioli worth doing at all? I don't think so. And your breadsticks? Ok, I liked them. And honestly, it's probably because I've played around, but I just don't think they're as good as I remember them. I will say the attention you gave me with your service was nice, and I appreciate that. So where do we go from here? I really don't know. But you know I'm not one to commit to long-term relationships, so you can forget that. With the time we've invested in each other over the years, it may be worth seeing each other again. So who knows, I'll probably stop by and check in on you sooner or later, and when I do I hope you can give me the excitement I'm looking for. I really do want to feel the love, Ciao

the food is always consistently good. I like the way they always change up their menu and have some kind of special. Mark our waiter always suggests a great wine pairing with our meal.

Very poor service. Drinks constantly empty, waiter does not automatically bring refills, you ask & then wait another 5-10 minutes for it. Ice water never came. Had mixed grill, chicken very dry. I would not recommend this place.

Poor policy for children - WOULD NOT let us order for our 11 year old daughter from the kids menu. What's up with that?? Can't 11 year olds get a cheap bowl of mac and cheese anymore? We paid $9.50 for it. We'll never go here again on principle.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
