Went on Valentine's weekend. Staff was friendly and fast for being a very busy Friday night. Food was excellent. Had a brand new server and she was on her game.

I've always loved Carrabba's. I mainly visit with my dad to devour a pound of their mussels bathed in a delicious garlic and white wine sauce. They serve unlimited, hot bread that soaks all the juices up perfectly after you've eaten your fill. I've had most of their pasta dishes with the Pasta Weeise, Mezzaluna and Lobster Ravioli being my favorites. The calamari and zucchini appetizers are always fried to perfection and both come with tasty sauces for dipping. Sharing encouraged! The service I have experienced in the past has been top notch. The waiters and waitresses are trained well and they genuinely seem to care about your needs no matter how busy the restaurant is. They have set my exceptions and high standards for all future visits to Carrabba's no matter the location. Come here for a aromatic dinner for two or a crowd. You are sure to have a good time and leave with a belly full of good food!

So once upon a time as I was saying I used to love the food at this location.. I was surprisingly disappointed with my food unfortunately I most likely won't be coming back until they replace the Chef... such a disappointment.

The food is amazing, but the serving sizes are getting smaller it is a chain restaurant but they try to make it a little more personable. I like the call ahead service, and they bring it right out to your vehicle. I also like the open concept kitchen, so you can see them preparing your meal.

Very displeased. The server was awesome and the place itself is very nice. The soup was very good, but that is where it ended. I don't think we will be coming back to this location. She had the campaign shrimp and scallop linguine. Very few shrimp and scallops. The pasta itself wasn't very good. The Sirloin Marseille was not cooked to order. Not even close. The mash potatoes were very runny and not at all appealing. This place has been here quite awhile. I finally decided to stop in and very disappointed. Maybe it is a off night, idk.

Food is chain- restaurant good ( reliably good but not amazing) , but service at this particular location sucks. Called ahead to ask how busy they were ( had a group of 10 for my bday) they said not at all, will have plenty of room, said they have happy hr for another hr and a half with appetizers half off. I asked about reservation and was told I didn't need it. Showed up and had to wait about 15-20 min to get seated. Happy hr appetizers that they told me about was only at the bar and they didn't mention bar only when I talked on the phone so people in my party were disappointed.. They screwed up my order ( I guess 1 out of 10 screwed up is not too bad huh? But does not make a happy bday girl) and when I pointed it out and asked for my order the waitress started arguing with me about what I told her, then looked at what she wrote down, shut up& apologized and then I had to wait some more (till every body was pretty much done eating) to get my food (which was great).. I asked for a to-go desert and they remembered to charge me for it but I had to ask a couple of times to get it..

Have fried calamari as an appetizer and delicious chicken soup. when my pasta came it was cold I sent it back and it was returned to me warm but still too cool to eat. I asked for it to be boxed that I would take it home with me and I was fine with that. when my bill came I found that they did not charge me for the dinner even though I was bringing it home. I thought that was very nice. I would go back

Went here last four years ago, and this place has gone down hill. Food is not the quality it should be for the high prices.

Went for a late lunch and ate a big meal. We had the fontina marinara appetizer, the shrimp and scallops in vodka sauce, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect and we finished every bite.

I am NOT a fan of chain restaurants as a rule, but this one is pretty darn good. We went here for our anniversary. The Filet was excellent. It actually had flavor instead of just being tender. The wood it was cooked on contributed much, and it was done perfectly. Trout with hazelnuts was also very tasty. I was worried that it would be more nut than fish, but it wasn't. As a side, I had the alfredo, which is a little delicate for my personal tastes, but still very good. This was a suggestion of the waitress, and we rewarded her for it. Limoncello bread pudding is excellent! Light, tasty, a touch of lemon with a little sweet, hot pudding and cold ice cream. Mmmmm. What a treat. Happy hour is the time to go, as it knocks a couple bucks off of the house wine, and gets you in before the crowds. They surprised us with the bill, too! We had mentioned that it was our anniversary as we ordered champagne to start, which we never do. Unlike our 2nd anniversary (this one was 19) where we ordered champagne and were given the look of death, they didn't even charge us! They also gave us dessert for free! Neither was expected, but very much appreciated.

Gotta love carrabba's and there impeccable service, if you've gone to one and had a bad time just calmly speak with a manager before you leave and if that wont work then just go to another one, I've eaten in lots of them and most of them are just great. You can always order your food "cooked to order" so if a server says they cant do other added a la cart or to change up an ingredient for you just let them know to ask there manager/kitchen..

Had dinner there last night and was charged $16.00 for a glass of pinot noir (Estancia). This is a very generic wine and can be purchased for $11.00-$12.00/bottle. Overpriced! I assume the value you get for the rest of the food and drink is the same. They have seen the last of us.

Same chain (good) , same taste (good) , same smelly cheese/foot odor as the rest (weird). The wife and I just shared a very good wood fired flatbread of spinach and goat cheese. I think I should get some goats and start making goat cheese cause I love it so. Everything was good, and the beer was cold. Service was good also. This place along with Olive Garden to me are the only chains which don't taste like a chain.

In the blackhole of brooksville spring hill its the best around. Honestly its better to just drive an hour to tampa to eat. This area is a shit show in quality food.

We were in FL for the weekend and had a lunch catered by Carrabba's in Brooksville. It was fantastic! We had chicken marsala and two sides of pasta, plus salad and fresh bread with olive oil. The bread was soft and warm and perfect, and the olive oil with herbs was great for dipping. The salad was nothing to brag about, just your usual caesar salad that most places can easily make. The chicken was my favorite part of this meal. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly, tons of flavor. We made sandwiches with the leftovers for lunch the following day and it was just as amazing cold with toppings for a sandwich. Carrabba's delivered the meal and were on time and very helpful in set up.

This is actually one of the only places that I visit and break my "no chain" rule with. I like the atmosphere and the food is very consistent. Most everything I have had there is very tasty, although I am not a fan of the pizza. Love the linguine pescatore, the mussels, Chicken Bryan, soups are always good and if you go during happy hour the drinks are reasonable as well. Minor complaint that sometimes (most times) it is hard to get to the bar. Quite a lot of people eat there and I am not a huge fan of people eating at the bar but, hey.

Service was slow and one meal was wrong; however, once the correct good arrived it was standard Italian food an the group enjoyed it.

We have been particularly pleased with this Carrabba's location. Whether dining in or out via curbside, the food has always been fresh, hot and delicious. Their warm italian bread accompanies everything and the zippy ground herbs and spices plus olive oil will keep you asking for more. It's wise to call ahead for seating to shorten your wait but do arrive early enough to enjoy the lovely house wine during happy hour. Bon Appetite!

I have eaten at this restaurant many many times, today I had the chicken Bryant and the chicken was extremely dry. The biggest problem with this specific restaurant I feel is consistency.

Went there for a date night. I normally don't care for this type of food but this was excellent! I will be returning.

I Love the Carrabba's Italian Grill near me in Columbia SC. So we were hungry and wanted a dependable good meal. So we went, everything was fine until the salads came and I opened my napkin to get my cutlery. Then I noticed a shiny spot on my black napkin. I asked my wife and kid if they saw it and then I picked up my fork. It was encrusted with cheese and who knows what. I didn't see my server so I looked around and made eye contact with another worker and asked for the Manager. The manager came over and I quietly told him I was a little disgusted, he said he would take care of it and brought me a fresh set. We ate our food, which was good and received the bill. I was little disappointed that he didn't take the one drink I had off or offer a desert. Maybe it's me but a little bit goes along way in the food industry and that would have suited me just fine. Anyway I said my peace.

Had spaghetti with meat sauce. It was ok. Bread was excellent but didn't like the olive oil with herbs so got butter. Loved the glass my beer was served in. Service was good. Not that crazy about the food though so don't know if I'll return.

The spicy sausage lentil soup is a must have! I am not a huge wine drinker but their sangria is fantastic.

Normally Carrabbas always gets at least a 4 star rating from me, but the waitress lost one just due to poor service which is highly unusual. The food was great as always though, so I will be back. :)

Never had a bad meal here. No matter what you choose, the food is always good and consistent between visits. If I love the chicken brian on Jan 1., it's got the same great taste when I visit on Feb 28. Staff is friendly, service is normally pretty good, even when busy. I always enjoy going here. If there was a better draft beer selection, this place would be frequented more often.

Went to this location for dinner on Friday night. When I paid, the waitress gave me back the wrong credit card which I didn't notice until the next morning since it was from the same bank. She charged someone else's meal to my card which was 3 times what my meal cost. Because of this mistake I had to cancel my card which is going to cost me hours on end of moving things over to my new credit card. It also caused me the embarrassment of having my card declined when I took my children to breakfast the next morning because I didn't realize I had someone else's card. To compensate me for my trouble the manager offered to send me a $50 gift card which is honestly an insult considering all the trouble I have to go through now because of one of his employee's mistakes. What adds to the insult is that a $50 gift card is not even enough to cover a meal for my family of 4 at his restaurant. They made a HUGE mistake which cost me and I'm sure the other person they gave the wrong card to a lot of time and trouble, and compensate me by giving me a gift card that won't even cover half my meal on my next trip. Just sad.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
