Not a bad place. Food was hot and the buffet was full which is something you don't see every time you go into a place like this later in the night. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Mill go back whenever we are in the neighborhood. Has all the typical Asian buffet food and of course ice. Cream for, desert.

I wouldn't eat here again. It's such a pity that this is the only Chinese buffet nearby in Brandon. We only went because my husband had a craving for Chinese food but we know better next time to not come here. Next time, we are ordering in somewhere else. I hope my husband doesn't have Chinese food urges anytime soon because it is not worth it. I am hoping for new Chinese buffets to come about in the Brandon area and if not, I will probably have to drop Chinese food off my list.

Wouldn't go again. Below average. General Tsos was overcooked and hard, tuna sushi looked brown on ends, list goes on and on....its a pass folks.

Not very good. My son who chose this place to eat was not impressed. The choices were very limited and food not very tasty. We will not go there again.

WOW, DAMN, HOLY CRAP, JESUS LORD!OMFG! That's all I have to say about this place. Well maybe not, this place is awesome! Every single HOT item on this buffet taste like it would if you went into a take out Chinese place. Super hot, the meat is NOT rubbery, the sauces are rich and taste wonderful, they have everything you can ask for and more! The waitresses are very nice, quick and never let your drink get low. So many buffets over cook their meats on the buffet, this one is not one of them. There are so many selections to choose from with great prices. It's in a very old plaza but they keep this as best as it can be for being so old, which is a great impression to its customers. This is my first time here and it is nowhere my last now that I have experienced a buffet worth coming to now. I'm surprised so many people left mediocre reviews. Keep in mind people, review the place for what it is, don't compare it to a high end restaurant. It's a Chinese buffet, if you want perfect Chinese food, fly your ass to china then! Till next time! Mike

Myself and a coworker have not been here in a while and popped over for lunch today. Did our normal routine, I got a plate and sat down while my friend got her a plate of food from the buffet. I dug into my food before my friend came back. After a few bites I see a German cockroach crawling on the wall next to me! I spit out my food and kill the bug with a napkin. Told my friend what happened, called over the manager and explained to her what happened. The manager tells us they sprayed for bugs recently. Really? And you open your doors before all the bugs are dead?! I didn't say that mind you, but told them we cannot finish our meal and we left. So disappointed as their food was good in the past. I am very turned off and sickened by what happened and will not be going back.

Clean dining room, good food, nice variety, decent value, attentive staff. My girlfriend and I were seated immediately for a weekday 6pm dinner. We're coming back for certain. The gf wasn't going to eat until she looked over the buffet, and then grabbed a plate. We both had a second serving and ice cream for dessert.

This is the best Chinese buffet in the area. If you come for lunch time or dinner time then all the food is fresh and hot. Of course as with all buffets if you come smack in the middle of the day the food will taste old. But all the food I have tried is really good. My favorite is the honey chicken. ..no other Chinese place makes it like tops. They changed the teriyaki chicken but it is still good but they should change it back because it was amazing. Weekend are seafood nights and they have hot snow crabs all you can eat. I have been going for years and will continue to do so I as long as they keep up the place.

Delicious food, great variety, all you can eat seafood on Fridays, great prices, welcoming atmosphere, and all you can eat sushi! Plenty of parking, and the food must be good to others too because they are very busy everytime I visited. 5 stars from me!

It should be called "Bottoms". It is literaly the worst Chinese food we have had in ten years...the last time we were here. The food was tasteles. The sushi (what little there was) looked fifteen years old. I mean, the real test will be is any of us get food poisoning. I really can't think of anything positive to say other than there was parking close by. Yes, it was that bad. Run...don't walk.

I ate there for the first time and I feel as I have food poisoning. My stomach is torn apart I feel like going to the clinic. I was on break from work and had to leave work early. I also have been taking medicine for relief after 4 hours still feeling sick this is disastrous. Can't believe I paid to feel this way. I won't be going there ever again. I should've known from the start when I looked at the food . It looked okay but and taste as okay compared to other but this feeling I have in my stomach does not justify that good. I do not recommend I believe this play should be up for inspection and or should be close

We recently ate here for our first and last time. The selection looked OK, looked to be your average Chinese buffet, and we were excited to see both a Mongolian Grill and sushi included. The food for the grill looked weeks old, so we didn't touch it. The sushi tasted like it had all been rolled in tuna juice. The buffet tables, well the selection looked good, but there was not one item that stood out as spectacular. Service was not that great, either. We considered this a moderately priced lesson learned and will never return.

Typical Chinese-American buffet... and I generally look down on buffets for having un-original food, but they're good if you want to get full fast. There's about eight rows of food ranging from Chinese take-out-type fare, puffy desserts and ice cream, ehhhhh sushi, American food, hibachi, and salad. The decorations were relatively plain, almost non-existant... but come on, you don't go to a buffet looking for hokey Asian décor. Honestly, nothing stood out to me... which I guess is good. I didn't see roaches swimming in the noodles or trash on the floor. Everything was clean, the food was hot and tasted like every Chinese-American buffet, and our server was very attentive. All that stood out was the almost $10 price. I've been to other buffets around Tampa Bay on a Sunday--like the epidemic of buffets on Hillsborough between Sheldon and Veterans, and the price range is $7 to $8. Oh well. PYRA SAYS: Tastes like every other Chinese-American buffet. That's not a bad thing, but nothing special to see or taste here.

Really friendly staff but the food is just dreadful. Every single item I tried was cold and tasted rancid like it'd been cooked in old oil. Terrible sushi, even for buffet standards.

How great is this buffet? You need to go. Everything is fresh. It was great. The chicken was great. The mussels were terrific. The beef was delicious. Im from IL and the food here was just terrific. The staff is awesome. Ten bucks for all you can eat. Too bad I don't live around here or id be a steady customer.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
