Only 5 stars because I cannot do 10. If you love chinese food and eat somewhere else you are wasting your $$$$$. Best I have ever had!!!!!

We eat here regularly. Everything we've had so far has been delicious! We have shared a lot of family dinners here with a minimum of six people. They always know what we want to drink and what our "usual" item is. The shrimp w/ lobster sauce is my favorite but I have tried sweet and sour chicken, cashew chicken, great delights, pork fried rice and eggrolls. All are delicious! Great service and outstanding food!

Food was great! I'm Chinese so it's not very often that I get to give a good rating for chinese restaurants. You can't really expect good atmosphere at a Chinese place, so I didn't mind. And keep in mind that they're Chinese so order Chinese food instead of fusion food. The waitress was really great and they were open on Easter :) They cook everything themselves so you know you're getting the real thing! I'm also very sensitive to msg, and I didn't feel anything after finishing so I would think they used less msg than other asian restaurants. Great place for a quick dinner!

Time to update. Now full on 5-stars! We had not been here in 6 months (out of town). The father, mother and daughter all remembered us. Knew we were vegetarian, told us the spring rolls had pork so that we did not order them, etc. Excellent personalized service! The hot n sour soup gets a 10.5 out of 10! This soup is brilliant! The exact right amount of spice, the perfect amount of sour! No pork! Great veggies, just awesome! We got the veggie lo mein and the veggie fried rice. (We always order two and share) The lo mein had great taste, really good! Not overdone noodles. Get them to add broccoli. Fantastic! The chow fan (fried rice): good. Really good. Needed soy, but very good. Really, if you want great food, attentive service and a nice home spun atmosphere, this is the place to go for Chinese food. I would give it a sixth star, but I am not allowed.

OK, so truth be told, I was on the fence between 4 & 5 stars. While I didn't think of it as "amazing" there wasn't anything I could find to knock it down. Please know that my review is based on a "To Go" order, which is always a little tougher for the restaurant. Everything was fresh, cooked perfectly and enjoyed by all. The egg rolls were better than most (almost certainly made in house). The pan fried dumplings were really good. Our entrees were egg foo young and kung pao chicken. Both were done properly. The atmosphere definitely leaves something to be desired but the service was excellent and friendly. I look forward to going back to try some other things on the menu. While I feel it was missing something, I can't put my finger on what. And I didn't want to be the first person to kill their string of 5 star ratings. :-)

Cooking is just so so nothing really special between the rest of Chinese restaurants in Bradenton and Sarasota I wish I can say it's great but it's not that is my honest opinion

This place has no atmosphere, the food is average at best and the curry chicken I got was overcooked. That said, the portions were large. I am sure there are better Chinese restaurants.

This little unassuming family owned hole in the wall has some of the best Chinese food around, in my opinion. It doesn't look like much and there's not much to say for the atmosphere inside, but the food is made with love. Some of my favorites include: The homemade fried won-tons they bring to the table as you arrive, Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, Won-Ton Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Chow Mien, Pepper Steak, and as I type this I realized I could just go on and on... They even have a small section of combo specials for under $10 that includes an egg roll and soup. That's a great value. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Incredible food! Best Chinese food I've ever had and the staff is great! Everything from the egg drop soup, to the egg rolls, to the sweet and sour chicken was awesome. :-)

Rereading the other reviews for Panda Garden makes me wonder if we just ate at the same place. But, I agree with comments about the atmosphere (none) and the service (good and friendly) so I guess we were in the same place. We both found the food bland, tasteless and poorly prepared. Compared to several other Chinese places in Bradenton and Sarasota, Panda Garden is a real loser. We started with soups; my "hot and sour" was neither. I had to add in chili oil just to infuse some flavor. Fried dumplings were OK but nothing special. Our entrees were Pork Kew and Szechuan Chicken. They were flat and not particularly fresh tasting. The vegies with the pork were flabby and both dishes were very oily. They seemed overly salty, even though there wasn't enough flavor to think they had been salted - I actually had to add some soy. Not even the white rice they served was correctly prepared; it was lumpy and cold. The best things they served were the tea - mellow and hot - and the fried wonton strips. Not much else was worth the stop and we won't go back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
