Don't believe the BS reviews, this place is GREAT! Great service, great food, followed by great management! If you want a great steak, fish, or a great cocktail stop here. I go once a week and have never had bad service or bad food! This is my seventh visit and even with a mixup, Brandon (the boss), fixed it immediately. #RealReview

We were a party of 11 on the 11th dinners that were delivered five were unsatisfactory one fish plate was not cooked order and had to be returned one prime rib dinner was delivered was 50% fat and had to be sent back the second delivered prime rib was very very tough and an edible filet mignon was too tough to eat and a sirloin was also too tough to eat and fourth and fifth meant meal the first tasted good but was very tough the overall experience with the management who didn't seem to care so I will read this restaurant zero star thank you for listening.

I'll preface this review with the fact that this is our second time here. The first, a few years ago, was also horrible. Bad enough that it took years before we would try it again. I was in the mood for some prime rib and didn't want to drive far, so we decided to give it another shot. So my wife and I went here for dinner tonight. Big mistake. It seemed to start off great. Our waitress seemed very friendly and polite, and our appetizer came out quick and was good. That was the last good thing of the evening. Before ordering the prime rib, I specifically asked if 1) they had it, and 2) it could be cooked medium rare. She wasn't sure, so she went to check. She came back and said they could only do medium. At this point I was concerned because that sounded like it was already medium and would likely come out more well done. But she assured me it would be fine and "medium". I said as long as it comes out like this (and pointed to the Outback Medium Definition Picture in the menu, that was fine, but I did not want it well done. Not a problem I was told. I imagine you already know how this ends... My wife ordered some special filet they had that came with a sauce, etc. Our soup and salad came out and was pretty good, so we were hopeful our past experience was a fluke. Shortly after finishing it, out steaks came out. I could tell immediately mine was well done, since it didn't even remotely resemble a prime rib. When I cut into it, it was tough and solid gray throughout. Basically inedible to anyone who actually likes steak. The fact that the kitchen sent this out as 'medium' was very concerning since they obviously don't know how to actually cook things properly. It wasn't even remotely acceptable. The waitress seemed shocked that it wasn't cooked right and took it back. My wife then noticed her steak wasn't what she ordered and waited for someone else to come back to let them know. The manager (I believe) came out shortly thereafter to let me know that the piece of prime rib they destroyed was the last one they had, so I would need to order something else. I settled on the bone-in ribeye. They also took my wife's steak back to fix at this point, and we needed to ask the manager for drink refills since both of ours had been empty for about 10 minutes now. My wife's steak came out within a few minutes, but I needed to wait for about 10 more before mine did. At this point, my wife was almost done (I told her to start since a cold steak isn't much of a dinner). My ribeye was cooked properly (medium rare) and tasted pretty good, so I was starting to feel a bit better about the meal -- even though I was going to be eating my dinner by myself at this point. But again, no water refill without waiting and asking for it. After we were both clearly done, we had to wait about 10 minutes before our waitress came back to take out plates and give us the check. Keep in mind the restaurant was pretty empty and it wasn't like they were busy running around. I noticed that the manager didn't bother to comp or otherwise try and make the previous issues right. I'm not one to expect free food, but after screwing up both of our orders, making me pick something else because they ran out, and then having us eat separately, I think a token comped appetizer or desert would have been more than appropriate. But I guess that isn't something they feel necessary. In any case, we were both ready to leave and call it a night, but after putting my credit card in the folder, we waited another 15+ minutes before I finally had to flag someone else down to take it. Our waitress kept walking by without even bothering to get it. Our meal wasn't horrendous, but it was problem after problem after problem, and just very aggravating. They didn't seem to care about providing good service and the food quality is pretty poor. They're now zero for two, and there won't be a third time for us. There are much better alternatives out there, and we won't be back. I would highly advise other people to go elsewhere if they want a good dinner.

We are freezing here. Regardless of the quality of the food we are so uncomfortable that we want to leave. Told waitress she does not seem to care. AND I have to add...baby dishes and loud lousy country music...never again!!!

My husband and I received a $50.00 gift certificate for Outback so, we decided to go to this one as it is close to our home. Not sure if all Outbacks have food this bad. My husband had the cheese burger with fries, which were so soggy and salty. He made the comment what are they trying to give people a stroke with all this salt. So salty in fact he was wiping it off of his hands. He asked me to taste them. I felt as if the kitchen staff had pulled a McDonalds nasty fries on us. I ordered the steak salad which was supposed to come with a vinaigrette. I asked the waiter for blue cheese dressing for my salad. A different person brought our order. I thought the kitchen had made a mistake as the salad already had the dressing on it and was mixed up too. I was starving as I had not eaten all day so I ate it. When our waiter Justin, came by I told him the staff must have made a mistake, no blue cheese dressing. He said no, that he put it on himself. I asked my husband to taste the salad. He said that's not blue cheese dressing. As a matter of fact all over their advertisements are pictures of huge blocks of blue cheese. There was no blue cheese in this salad be it dressing or other wise, Both of us also confused as to why the dressing was not put on the side. Grown folks like to put on their own dressing as it is a to taste choice. We asked Justin about that too, he told us that is the way Outback does it. Anyway, to make a long story short. If you are going charge prices like Pier 22 Restaurant, your going to have to do a much better job than this. We have over $20.00 left on the gift certificate, I believe I may give it to a homeless person. Perhaps the Outback on the other end of town is much better.

Ours was a group of 8: 6 adults and 2 children. Instead of putting us at a round table with 8 seats they seated us at a round table for 6 and put a 2 top next to us. You have to wonder what the hostess was thinking! The service was adequate, but not special. When you have to search for your server to refill your drinks - that's not a good thing! And that's the way this evening went. We started out with a Bloomin Onion and it was one of the best we've ever had at an Outback. My wife had a small filet that was done as ordered and wonderfully tender. I had the 12oz Rib eye that was OK, but not special. There was a lot gristle in this piece and so a lot of chewing. Both of our potatoes were good. Everyone elses food was fine, but service wasn't the highlight of our evening.

Service was OK. bartender tried hard, actually really nice guy but the ribeye sucked, over cooked and gritty. Pass next time and go to Gecko's.

Went for my sons birthday dinner, have been here many times before and it's hit and miss. This time it was three strikes and I'll never be back. Noticed the table was greasy when we sat down but did'nt want to nit pick and ruin my sons evening, open the menu, crumbs of food as big as a pinkie nail eww. OK me and the kid order a filet, it's cooked right, med. well but tough and not great, wife confirms. we are not big complainers and I hate waiting for food to get recooked so we suck it up, pay $130 before tip and head out. I dont even get home and the bellyache starts, me, my wife and my daughter, not sure what it was from but....next day I call and talk to the owner/manager. Tell him I've never called a restaurant before in my life but $130 for a bad steak and a bellyache, he says he would check to see if we got serloin accidently instead of filet and he would send us a $45 gift card. Best part is 3 1/2 weeks later we never get the gift card, not that I would go back anyway. But the point is this was THE manager, he obviously is'nt doing his job to keep things clean etc. The only Outback that I will even consider going to is on University Pkwy in Sarasota. Avoid this place.

Service was so, so-very slow to bring drinks from the bar (the mojito was pretty standard-I've definitely had worse)....but the I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I had a new dish- The Great Barrier reef and was really taken back how good it was. The ahi tuna was seared with a flavorful crust and had a delicious sauce on it. The crab and avacado was the perfect blend and the coconut shrimp were cooked perfect-shrimp were not chewy and the breading was nice and crisp. The light sauce for each fish really made the entire dish. While the overall experience was just ok, the food was on point. Would come back for this dish again!

We had to send filet steak back, gristle in it. The service was slow and we waited almost 20 minutes for our bill!

I'm surprised that I have the only five star review! We had a great experience at this Outback, the best we have ever had. Our waiter, Jeremy, was friendly and attentive. Our meals (prime rib & baby back ribs) came out quickly and were perfectly cooked. The bloomin onion is to die for! I highly recommend this location!

Went for dinner on a Thursday night not overly busy. But as mentioned before service is very very slow. Our waitress was more worried about chatting with friends at another table than taking care of customers Saw the same with the bartender more than one patron at the bar area left because she was too busy chatting with a friend. Food was typical Outback my daughter like her ribs and my steak and shrimp was okay. Don't go unless you have at least an hour and a half.

I guess people complain for any reason but I definitely had a great, fast, friendly service. The food was outstanding as expected at Outback

Stopped here to eat prior to catching a movie. Bad idea! The service was crazy slow. Took FOREVER just to get drinks. I think it was our waitress though because I saw some people that came in after us who were served in a more timely manner. The food...... if you've been to one Outback you've been to them all. Whatever.

Outback now serves Sushi! On 23 June 2014, I ordered the Firecracker Salmon. I took one bite and noticed it had a very "odd" flavor. Before I complained, I decided to cut into the middle of the filet and noticed that it was completely raw. Although I enjoy sushi, I did not order it that night. I decided to return the plate as I had lost my appetite. The manager told me that "this is how they cook their salmon". What happened to the customer always being right? If Outback wants to serve raw fish, fine. But, it should be listed on the menu as such. However, it is not. If they insist on serving fish undercooked, they should be courteous and ask customers how they would like their fish cooked. This incident leaves a customer wondering.... if the fish is not cooked at the right temperature how can you be sure it is being stored at the correct temperature? People do not go to Outback to eat raw fish. I would have gone to Thai Wasabi just up the street if sushi is what I wanted to eat that night.

We used to be very regular patrons of this Outback, but after last Saturday's lunch experience...probably not anymore. We were there at lunch - there were very few people there, as is the norm. We ordered the new chicken sandwiches. The buns were burnt on both of our sandwiches. My mom sent hers back...and then when she bit into the replacement sandwich...it was almost completely raw! The outside crust and very edges of the meat were cooked. But the meat was so raw it was that squishy texture. Not undercooked. Raw. The manager said, "Well, we time how long we cook them." That was his excuse...over and over. He then said he would comp the meal. Thanks for comping a meal that couldn't be eaten. It's not worth the health risk to return there. Supposedly they were passing this complaint on to the regional manager with my mom's email address...but she hasn't heard anything, so obviously they don't care that they served a completely raw chicken sandwich to a customer.

Recommend the Victoria's filet & the mahi mahi. If something isn't right just let them know.
