I can check off one more of those places that I've said; "I gotta try someday". I was tipped off by another YELP review that there is now a Krystal in this area. It's a mostly southern based chain (anytime I saw one on a trip I was going 80 miles an hour) long known for their mini square burgers or as they refer to them simply as the "Krystal". They were excellent with each patty including cooked diced onions, mustard and a Dill pickle and interestingly, no ketchup! The dinner roll style bun couldn't be fresher tasting. Actually we up-sold ourselves and had the "Cheese Krystal". They arrived hot with the cheese melted to a creamy goodness. I had four and could have eaten six, and the slim women (wife) with me ate just two. In a word the fries and the "Krystals" were delicious. This is real comfort food in a bag, made to order as you're given a number and arriving promptly and freshly cooked. Eat-in, take-out and drive thru available.

I've been craving White Castle & unfortunately Krysyal's is no comparison (not even a close second) but it's as close as I'm going to get here in FL. Hey, and it's cheap! Man, I wish they had cheese fries like White Castle HOWEVER they have an amazing banana pudding shake that it ohhhhh so delicious. If you're into bananas you'll go ape over this shake! Try it!

Arrived tonite @ 10:30 ........ looked deserted ......found one employee feeding cats out back. She informed me they were open and came inside ........ washed hands and proceeded to prepare my sack-o- krystals. Second employee appears from men's room and starts to pack order ...... didn't wash hands. Very unappealing, but what do you expect from a fast food place that time of night. Will be sure to NUKE my burgers before consumption.

Great sliders. Speaking as a White Castle fan, these were among the best sliders I've had. Great location, very friendly staff. So when you get a Jones for sliders, go here. Your mom and I forgive you.

For the quick hunger tamer, the Krystal Burger has mini burgers to curb your appetite! I always get their cheese burgers. The burgers are made on a hot seasoned griddle with it's natural juices surrounding the meat, along with the patties you can see the sauteed chopped onions also sharing a spot on the same griddle combining the juices from the burgers for the extra mouthwatering taste . When the burger and the onions are married they are placed along with the melted cheese embedded in mini square buns, all together they bring out a great flavor of the Old Americana meat burger. Of course, being from Chicago there is nothing like a White Castle Burger, however , living in the south it is the closest thing to it.. The cost of the burgers are awesomely affordable, you can get a dozen of burgers with a drink for under $7... Some people say it is the ultimate hangover cure! I say it is a great hunger tamer!

I wish I did not have to give it 1 star! I will NEVER return! It is bad enough that it takes longer than Outback to get your food, but when you question politely how much longer, you have to listen to a stream of obscenities from the staff. My nine year old really enjoyed listening to the patron in front on me being cursed at by the kitchen staff for nearly 5 minutes while the manager (playing computer games in the dining room) did nothing! Many calls to corporate Krystal's have gone unanswered! I was raised in the South and have loved Krystal my whole life. I was thrilled when I heard one was being built here! I will NEVER walk in the door of this place again!

I'd heard about this place from friends who lived in the south for a while, so when I flew down to Bradenton for a wedding I had to go and check it off my list of places to visit. My friends described it as "oh, so good." Didn't find it any better than White Castle, to be honest. I like the castle, so I liked Krystal, but it's not any better. Overall, yeah it's good for stuffing your face, but it's not like I left saying to myself "I hope this chain moves into the Philadelphia area."

Just like White Castle except below the Mason Dixon Line and they put mustard on instead of ketchup. The brothers be flocking there anyway. Usually not open 24 hrs like the Castle.

Just like white castles (for you other northerns) but better. A beef patty on hawaiian bread with pickles, onions, and yellow mustard. I think I like it more due to the bun and yellow mustard. However, I get mixed reviews from my family and friends who come to visit me. Chicken sandwich is ok. I just recommend the burgers.
