Great food; good price/ value. Only regret is that they need to decorate the place. It looks like a cafeteria.

My only complaint is the coffee, I don't love it. Otherwise, everything comes out hot and delicious every time. Sign up for their email club and get $2 off coupons periodically. The waitstaff is always friendly and accommodating.

First Watch used to be great but now seems to be catering to the health-food crowd. If that's what you want then First Watch is your place. If you want an old fashioned American breakfast where everything is not kale this and whole grain that then I suggest you find another place.

Really healthy & delicious choices! I had a Kale tonic with the Bacado omelette (avocado, bacon, Monterrey cheese, salsa). Very tasty! Will return.

Great staff, but the food was underwhelming. For boasting healthy and fresh, it definitely tasted like frozen food. They do have a great variety of options, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. The sizes were huge, which was great, though.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant and have been coming here for years. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, and it's the perfect place to come to if you want a healthy breakfast/lunch where you don't feel weighed down and gross after eating. Over the years, I have had MANY of the menu items and honestly, have never been disappointed by any of my choices. I've tried their omelets, breakfast burritos, pancakes, "healthier side" items and scrambles. Their lunch salads, soups and sandwiches are delicious as well. I've tried them all! Even my not so healthy husband loves this place. This is a great place for work meetings as well. As a matter of fact, I had an interview held at this very First Watch 8 years ago when I got my first job in my current industry. It's not uncommon to come here on a weekday and see a plethora of business professionals holding meetings. It's always my first choice! Give First Watch a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Great breakfast joint. Very friendly staff and a great place for a morning business meeting. The host showed me to my table and within one minute the waitress had arrived and ask if I wanted coffee. Soon after she brought out a large pot of coffee that wasn't half bad. Not gourmet, but better than most. I had the oatmeal and it hit the spot. The oatmeal comes with milk and brown sugar (both on the side) and assorted fruit on top. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

I was surprised to find one of my favorite Indianapolis / Cincinnati brunch spots while visiting a friend in Bradenton. This place serves up a great breakfast everytime I am there. You can run the gamut from healthy to indulgent and everywhere in between. I love their omelettes. My most favorite thing on the menu however is there veggie burger, and I am not even a vegetarian. It is so yummy and packed with flavor. I also love the salad with poppyseed dressing that comes on the side. Service is almost always good and attentive, though plan on a wait on peak weekend hours. Get yourself a cup of complimentary coffee and wait for your name to be called. Don't forget your to-go cup of whatever you were drinking on the way out as well ;)

A little disappointing. Reviews and pictures looked good. I didn't see a lot of the pictures dishes on the menu. Maybe they were specials. Got the trifecta with waffle. Waffle was soggy. Waffles should be crispy on the outside. Redeeming factor was the berry syrup that came with it. It was clean, spacious. Staff was very polite.

Food is always fresh and very good! Wait staff very friendly. I eat lunch at First Watch also, couldn't ask for a better lunch menu. Very healthy choices!

I love First Watch for breakfast and lunch. On my recent visit though, I got an order to go, and I was so impressed on how they did not keep me waiting around. I came in, paid, and I watched the same server who cashed me out put my order together and then I was out! It seems so minimal, but when you have a short lunch break, speedy service is very much appreciated!

Very clean, very polite and efficient service. All of the waitresses are fun, caring individuals. I have never had a bad experience here. The food is delicious, and fresh. New exciting menu ideas next to traditional healthy choices. Highly recommended for a positive dining experience.

My new favorite breakfast/brunch spot by far. Prices are quite reasonable considering the high quality of the food. There were two items that I find very rare in Sarasota/Bradenton eateries; sausages that have some flavor to them (I'll try their turkey ones next time) and the hashbrowns are cooked with a little spice and (thank the heavens!) some onion. My standard breakfast order came with an English muffin which was nice for a change. My other half had a hash which was very good; poached eggs on sausage, mushrooms, potato, onion, 2 kinds of cheese and a fruit cup on the side & English muffin. A coffee thermos & water jug left for us on the table was appreciated. My eggs over medium were done the way I like it whereas few cafés seem to know how. The place is well suited for larger groups as they have many circular tables that fit six people. They also smaller round tables for outside seating. I'm looking forward to trying the other menu items (incl lunch) as they sound very good. The back of the menu has what might be considered an "eater's bill of rights". This is the first time I've been to a restaurant of any kind that had such a thing. Equally good was the service; friendly & attentive. My absolutely only quibble was that the room temperature was a bit cooler than either of us liked. I'm not the kind of customer that complains to management so I didn't give them the chance to do something about it. One patron's too cool is another's just right I suppose. :-)

First Watch is my favorite place for Sunday brunch in LWR. The menu has the amazing ability to be both healthy and delicious - and really the only bummer is that unlike a true Southern business they don't serve sweet tea! However that's a small point of contention and you should absolutely give this place a shot - the eggs benedict are incredible. They close early, so make sure you get there before the hours of the day pile on.

Fantastic place to go for breakfast and brunch. Excellent fresh food with a range of choices and good service. Only caveat? It's so good that it gets *really* busy, so be prepared to wait for a table during busy hours. Also has free wifi.

We have been going to FW for several years and the last year or so there has been a significant deterioration in the food quality. Their claim is that everything is "fresh". Hmmm.. Creamer that doesn't need refrigeration doesn't strike me as fresh. When I asked for real cream or whole milk for the coffee, the server said that they only have 1% milk. That isn't enough to mellow out their bitter coffee. They used to have a pitcher of water on the table with lemon; a nice touch; now they don't even fill the water glasses. The restaurant was not busy, but our food arrived cold. With the other options in the area, this is a -WNR - will not return.

Really and truly, ! I don't understand why people are so enamored with First Watch restaurants. It tries to be good but, at best, it's pretty uninteresting food.

Fair warning, I drafted this review two years ago but neglected to post it. So I can't attest to whether this review is an accurate assessment of this restaurant's current state. Good things - the food is fresh and delicious. They are great with special orders (like no onions, sauce in the side, etc.) The pancakes are fabulous - I haven't tried them all, but have enjoyed everyone I tried. One odd thing, though. The pancakes are served with a large scoop of butter right on top. Please, put it in a separate container or leave it off entirely. When a customer goes through a litany of ordering instructions that include things like no cheese and cooked dry and no butter it's a little disconcerting to have a large scoop of melting butter on the pancake. I always have to scoop it off quickly and have nowhere to put it, so the spoon of butter ends up on the table or, if it's too melty, in the water glass. Which makes me feel rude. But if I specifically ask for "no butter on my pancake please" I think it's less wasteful to scoop it off than it would be to send the entire pancake back. And I like the coffee, and the fact they leave a carafe on the table. But I may not be able to frequent this place because my husband is an ice tea drinker and he rants about the fact he is treated differently than coffee drinkers. So please, more ice tea! There are carafes of coffee and water left on the table, but not ice tea. And rather than fill up an empty or nearly empty ice tea glass, they bring a fresh glass. Which would be fine, but then take away the used glass so they don't get stockpiled on the table.

(To be fair, this restaurant is really more of a 3.5 star, but alas, you can't half-star a restaurant on Yelp.) Had breakfast here with a large group on a weekday. The place was packed, but the servers were friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good. I was pleased with an item I ordered from the specials menu: ricotta pancakes with strawberries and lemon curd. The waffles and some egg dishes also got good reviews, though my boyfriend wasn't impressed with his omelet. A couple of minor drawbacks: I asked for butter for my pancakes and was brought a tiny little cup with maybe a teaspoon of butter in it. Additionally, the maple syrup to go with a friend's waffle was an additional $1.50, which seems a little on the high side. I would definitely eat here again.

I love this place. Friendly staff always a good place to bring your out of town gust too. Inside note Dick Vitale loves to eat here. Keep your eye out for him.

Gabriel and I had breakfast here yesterday. It couldn't possibly be more convenient as it's less than a mile from where we live. We were seated in a comfortable booth right away and a VERY smiley and friendly waitress came to bring us menus and a delicious pot of hot coffee. We were a little surprised that the coffee, though it's served in an unlimited-refills pot, is charged per person, not per pot. Next time we might opt to share one mug I ordered the 'Caps Etc' for my breakfast and asked for the english muffin to be served dry, and the roasted crimini mushrooms (HOLY YUM!) to be prepared with half the amount of cheese they'd normally use. I ordered my 2 eggs poached and a small fruit salad on the side to share with my honey bunny. The food came out super fast and looking delicious. It was all exactly as I'd specified and everything tasted great. I even liked the little homefries which aren't usually my favorite. The prices were pretty reasonable- except for the per-person coffee price of around $2.50 each. My one cup didn't really justify that...but Gabriel did end up getting a cup to go which I guess made up for it. My entree was around $8 and the little fruit salad an extra $3.50. We'll be back for sure!
