Awesome authentic pizza and family owned! We stopped here for late night pizza during our vacation on sarassota, we were treated real nicely and the staff was very friendly even tho we came in 20 min before closing time. Like I said we loved the pizza and garlic bread here and really enjoyed the service and will be back whenever in the area.

As usual food and service exceeded all expectations. You just cannot find better, more authentic pizza and the price is right. A visit to the area wouldn't be complete without a trip to Bella Mia Pizza!! Ask for Jami, she's a great server :)

We moved to AMI last year from NJ and have been looking for good Italian food. This is the best so far. We tried the specials, my pork medallions were were fork tender and delicious. The crab ravioli were good, but not made in house so I was a little disappointed. I was hoping for fresh made pasta. The service was good and at the end of our dinner the owner came out, introduced himself and gave us some very nice dessert and a heart felt thank you. Overall a good dining experience. We will be back to try the pizza it looked good.

A great all-around place for pizza and pasta. We are Italian and enjoy it all...love the sauce, pile it on! The bruschetta is a favorite and the caprese salad not to be missed. Small, nice decor, good service. Go already! : )

Great little place. Excellent pizza and pasta! I also always make sure to get some minestrone soup and take advantage of the free garlic knots, delicious! Great atmosphere and always great service.

The best Italian in the area by far. We always order to go pizza there. Not the cheapest place but its well worth it. Very nice atmosphere, indoor and outdoor sitting. Few times stayed and ate there and each time food is amazing.

What can I say . . . Outstanding as always. By now I have eaten here or gotten food to go many times and I am never disappointed. The chicken francese may be the best I've had. The pizza is always great and everything I've ordered from here has been wonderful. No doubt that I will keep coming back. :-)

Order from Bella Mia often @ work as they deliver; also dine in or pick up take out. Pizza is ALWAYS perfectly delicious and the closest taste to thin pie back in Northern New Jersey. Recently have ordered the Calzones and have been enjoying them. Had fabulous crab and lobster fettucine in a perfect picatta sauce with capers. Second best dish i had from Bella Mia other than their crab stuffed ravioli dish. Always enjoy their canolis which also taste crisp and fresh like what I grew up on in N J. The staff are all attentive and very well informed about the menu and choices. Also the delivery guy , Sam is The Best! Nancy is great for suggestions or alerting us about specials that will be featured soon....

Our favorite for years. Always feel comfortable here, so we've become regulars. Glad they added the extra dining room to handle their happy customers. Usually we can be seated immediately. This dining experience is just a step up from local competitors. Friendly and competent servers. Food is certainly more refined here. Even the meatballs are awesome! Nice wine selection. Side salads are included with entree. Garlic knots are also included. The outdoor dining is nice with all the plants. Each indoor dining room has its own personality. Since the remodel I do miss the red velvet couch in the lobby area. They do a brisk take out business.

Definitely 5 stars for Bella Mia! First off, the service is excellent. Servers and hosts have always been friendly when I have visited, as well as prompt in service. Second, the prices are outstanding! My boyfriend and I ate for $25 yesterday and that included dinner for two, his beer, and my glass of wine. Most importantly, the food is delicious. If you're craving authentic Italian food, this is the place. Yesterday my boyfriend and I split a medium pizza with pepperoni and ricotta and wow! It was so delicious and so much bigger than I expected - we were happy we got the medium. The pizza sauce is a sweeter one and very tasty. I have been multiple times before and ordered pastas each time; they were also really good. They bring you garlic knots to start off and they are so delightful. All in all - great place for authentic Italian food in North West Bradenton.

Great little place in Bradenton right outside of Anna Maria Island. Friendly staff and visible owner. The pizza crust was done just right! Crispy bottom but not burnt, great toppings, and fresh cheese. They have great lunch specials and a wide variety of items that are not pizza as well. The garlic knots are complimentary and very yummy. I will be returning to this place when I am in the area for sure!

  • Paco R.

The portions were huge, they packed the to-go order very nicely, they were very friendly, and it was very inexpensive. They included the garlic knots in the to-go order which was a nice touch. I asked for the sauce for the raviolis on the side for my kid and they were nice enough to pack a big container of sauce seperately. If we lived in the area that sauce would have been good for two more meals.

The Calzone was pretty good, I went to thier web site, it said $7.99, I ordered a carry out. I picked it up and they said $9.59. I questioned the price and was told that $8.99 is the price, I like the food but I called after I got home and asked them to look at thier web site no apology not even an offer for my next visit, Sorry but you lost a customer over $1.00 Bradenton

You will find so much overflow at Bella Mia from the other pizza place down the street. Other said pizza place really cannot handle the amount of customers, so we too left and decided to finally try Bella Mia. This surely brings Bella Mia more customers, because just like us, there were other families that had left the other place. Wooohooo! Bella Mia has a second dining room for the overflow, which actually looks like it would open, if needed. The service is excellent and we were seated quickly. They have a gelato case by the front door, and it looks heavenly. There are also many plants and decorations out front with outdoor seating, which gives the appeal of a European storefront. The pizza is excellent. The crust is what really sells it, and I am one of those people that never eats the crust! The dough is so light and fluffy, yet delicately crispy on the outside. Perfect. On their specialties pizza menu, Bella Mia suggests ordering classic Italian sauce-less pizzas, like a Margherita. After trying their sauced pizza, I would go with sauce-less in the future. Since their sauce is too sweet for my liking. Their pizza dough is also put to great use in their house-made complimentary garlic knots. Bella Mia then covers these amazeballs with their pungently fabulous garlic oil. Huge chunks of delicious garlic. We liked them so much that we paid to order more. And, then ordered a side of their garlic oil for the pizza crust and the rolls. My only complaint is that the food is $2-3.00 more per item than it should be. It is a little pricey for what you get. They really try to push the side salad purchase... the side salads are just iceberg lettuce and did not look exciting. We saw other customers ordering items like; huge slices of chocolate cake. But, I could not find a dessert menu, so I guess those were just regulars that happened to know that there is chocolate cake hiding in the kitchen. Maybe they should post a dessert menu? Still not my number one choice in Bradenton, but great as a second option.

My Dad and I went to get a good pizza, we were not disappointed. The pizza reminded us of a Detroit pizza parlor called Deluca's, which is a compliment. Simply a good thin crust pizza.

Where everybody knows your name is not just a good bar slogan, it's a great neighborhood restaurant slogan. The food is good, everyone I bring there (& we bring everybody there...) leaves full and HAPPY! You have to ask if they have gnocchi as they are local made and off menu, but ask.

Finally! Pizza worth talking about! I have been looking for a good pizza in Manatee County for the past 10 years. I really don't have a good reason for not trying Bella Mia before, but now I wish I hadn't waited so long. First - the whole reason for my long quest is the perfect crust. Our very attentive waiter, named Josh, described the crust as crispy on the bottom, but 'fluffy'. That scared me. But what arrived was perfection. Thin enough, without being like a cracker; just crispy enough on the bottom to provide that satisfying snap when you bite in; interior was bubbly enough to provide the perfect chew. And the flavor told me that this was definitely made in-house. I often leave the back end of the crust on my plate, but this was just too good to abandon to the trash. The sauce was slightly sweet and fresh tasting. It obviously did not come out of a jar. It really tasted of tomato, not just flavorings. The toppings were plentiful. In spite of the ample cheese and pepperoni, they managed to keep the pie from being greasy. Someone else mentioned canned mushrooms, but ours were fresh. They had both fresh and 'blanched' mushrooms as options on the menu - perhaps he ordered the wrong ones. The garlic knots were big and tasty (almost too big - one filled me up). They have an adequate selection of beers & wines. We didn't try any of the pasta dishes, so this review is just for the pizza. The gelato was a bit of a disappointment. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't wonderful. It didn't have that perfectly smooth, silky texture that you expect from gelato. The stuff I buy at the grocery store beats it by a long shot. I wish I lived close enough for carry out!

Great pizza and wings. The wings were extra spicy. The xlarge pizzas were extra large. Our whole party was satisfied.

And now for a very short unhelpful review: I was craving a chicken parm sub. The only other place in the area that I knew to get one was the Paul's Pizza by the Foot in Palmetto, but I wanted to try something different. A quick yelp search, and low and behold, Bella Mia. Ordered a regular size sub to go and picked it up. It was ready in the time they said it would be. Everything about it was good. Sauce was tasty. Big piece of juicy chicken breast with excellent breading, and lots o-cheese. Sub roll was also excellent - crispy and warm outside, soft on the inside. No complaints at all. Maybe not the best chicken parm ever, but still really good.

Love Bella Mia pizza! We have ate In and also carried out. The White pizza is to die for! The gelato is also very deelish! Worth stopping by!

The Garlic Butter Knots were awesome..I could have just had salad and them. But I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and my wife the Baked Ziti. It was all very good with the serving size was what I thought appropriate. Service was very good, as our server (Shawn-sp?) was always checking in on us. She was very personable and always had a smile. We ate outside and everything was clean and shaded. The bottom line, the check, was commensurate with everything. I came away a very happy customer.

Wasn't super impressed with the meal. Large portion but flavor was unimpressive. Bradenton has a large elderly population so they may just cater to a more basic palate. There are very few excellent Italian restaurants in town so this was a bit below what I had hoped for.

Had dinner there last night for the first time in a long while. We didn't remember why we hadn't been there in a while but after dinner realized it's because it's not memorable. Service was good, place was clean, and there were many tables filled considering it was still early. We ordered s bottle of the house wine and it was good. They serve garlic knots, and they were okay but cold, not hot as expected. It took quit a while for dinner to arrive so we did eat the cold Garlic knots in garlic butter. If fact when the entire arrived we asked for another, and again good but cold. My husband the lasagna king had lasagna with meat sauce. It arrived quite hot but looked like it was scooped up from the bottom of the pan. He ate a few bites and decided he didn't like it. The meat sauce was good but it appeared like it was reheated and the cheese plopping had slid off the noodles, which were spread across the plate not in a lasagna like form. I ordered the chicken franchise. The sauce was wonderful. And the pasta was done perfectly, but the chicken was thick and very hard to chew. Well I suppose I should have ordered the veal... My husband opted out of the salad that comes along with the meal (he ate bread instead?) but i had the salad with peppercorn dressing. The salad appeared to be made many hours earlier. It laid flat like another plate was stacked on top If it in the fridge, and was unappealing on the plate - but the produce was fresh. The dressing, although it has a nice taste was the consistency of milk. It dropped off and left a pool in the bottom of the plate. It did not stick to the greens. I didn't eat the salad. This place is not inexpensive, our bill which included a $25 bottle of house wine was approximately $70 before tip. We will try it again in a month or two, ordering different items. Hopefully they will read this and thicken up the dressing, serve hot garlic knots, and pound the chicken cutlet!

Garlic knots are awesome!! Had the Margherita Classico pizza; it wasn't the greatest I've had but it was good. We went there for a wedding party with a very large group and they did a great job! The service was great!

I am a huge pizza fan. I found this place on Yelp and it already had great reviews. We went around 7PM on Tuesday and did not have to wait to be seated. The restaurant is a little snug but my date and I were still able to have our own private conversation even with two large parties seated near us. We ordered the garlic knots (which come free if you only want 2) but we decided to order the appetizer so that we could get dipping sauce and 7 garlic knots. They came out fast, tasted fresh and you could not stop at one. We ordered the white pizza (large) which was huge. We took leftovers home and can't wait to go back to try another type of pizza. They did have other food options - nearby tables ordered pasta dishes that looked delicious and were huge portions. Our server was a cute pregnant girl who never let our drinks get empty and was very friendly throughout our dinner.

We have ordered pizza delivery at least once a week from Bella Mia for the past couple of years and they are awesome! Our food usually arrives well before the promised time and is always delicious! One time our pizza arrived well after the promised time do to a mix up in the kitchen and the owner personally delivered our food to apologize and refused to take payment for it! You can't go wrong here!

After the beach my family and I were looking for a quick pizza joint and I was like ok the first sign that says pizza, we are going in. The place was nice and we looked so under dressed. Walking in we were greeted and I did warned him that we had just come from the beach and they politely said, you all look fine, we decided to seat outside cause it was cold, note it we were still wet. From the get go awesome customer service, great food. Garlic bread, pizza and also had the chicken parmigiana. Everything went well. Gave it 4 cause I recently visited another pizza place that was totally a 5 and beyond. But this place has the best customer service I've seen in a long long time.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
