Save your money and don't waste your time here. If you want decent seafood you will be disappointed. We heard this place was the "best seafood for the money" and I can tell you if is far from that. My wife ordered the tuna.....the texture was odd, almost like it was frozen and thawed a few times before serving. Average taste. I ordered the blackened grouper. The food came out unblacked, so I sent it back and they threw the same cooked fish in the blackening seasoning and brought it back out. Not good and sub par taste. In my opinion, the people giving this place a decent review are eating fried entrees. Keep in mind, frying food will make anything taste decent. Save the $50 for a better seafood rest. Good luck. The bar for Florida restaurants is so low I'm embarrassed for this state. They want you to believe below average food is great. And people believe it.

I can't believe you can't find good seafood in Florida without taking out a mortgage. If you are a foodie you won't like this place.

On a family outing, we were looking for something to eat. We were kinda in the middle of nowhere, and looking for something to eat that was local (not a chain) and really good. Yelp recommended this place as being local, and close to us. A short drive later, we found it. I had the fried oysters, as well as the crab cakes. Both were very delicious, and I would recommend them to everyone. My family had the crab legs, the alfredo, and fried fish. Everything was shared, and everything was delicious. Don't be put off by the 'oyster bar' label, it is a sit down place with very good well cooked food. Anytime I can support a local business, and get really great food and service, is a win for me. If I ever find myself back down there, I'm sure to take another stop at the bar.

Honestly this place is great. I've eaten there 2 times and both times I found it clean, reasonably priced, fast service from the waitress, no waiting line, and the food was great, tons to choose from. I'm from Ohio so I always get seafood so I know that was great.

best margaritas anywhere around, great food and a great price

New Englander here, this post is for the tourists. The food is about as good as Red Lobster. Main shtick is fried foods. This is not an "oyster bar" as the name implies. I got the raw oysters, big mistake. They are probably frozen, not fresh. The waitress guessed they were from Texas. They had zero oyster "liquor" so they had no taste. It was like eating cold lumps of tasteless flesh. They were also not shucked properly as the meat was not cut away from the shell. The rice and potatoes were OK as sides. The tuna was cooked as ordered, rare. For the price I expected a larger portion of tuna. It was about 4x4 inches. The margaritas don't have enough alcohol to get a 2 year old drunk. I also agree with the other reviewer who said something is not right with the drink. There's an added ingredient but I couldn't put my finger on it. The salmon dishes are all listed as "Atlantic salmon" meaning it is all farmed, not the good sockeye salmon. The fried foods are probably good but being in a beach town I expected fresh, local sea food from a local restaurant. If they do have local offerings on the menu I would highlight those more. Last note about the "oyster bar" in the name, it's your restaurant and you can call it whatever you want but the name is misleading and that really ticked me off. Tl;dr; this is a chain wanna be with standard fried food. Go someplace else if you're a tourist and want something local.

I like this place... Great customer service and good food... Margarita was great too! :-)

Had the sword fish special (blackened with a crab cake asparagus and potatoes) i have never had sword fish before but it was delicious. Not dry at all, also had a tequila sunrise, they don't go light on the tequila so i didn't feel like i was paying for juice which is nice. The service was super nice and pretty quick for being a pretty busy place.

The food was good. This location is loud and crowded. Grouper was excellent. My iced tea was watered down. I prefer the Ellenton location better, but either way the food is great. Try the lunch specials for better deals! Good staff

I honestly did not expect to update this review but the manager followup with me after my last review and offered dinner for my family on the house. Much like several of the place I went this week, we had an awesome waitress - Kate. We also met the manager early on too who followed up with us throughout the night to make sure things were ok. I'm updating my rating not due to one single event but the sum of their parts. The waitress, the manager on duty, the manager who followed up and most of all the food that we ate. Recommendations - order the shrimp app. that has the spicy orange sauce. Kids - Can order a full pizza for almost nothing and its good. Or try the fish and chips which were good too. Adults - Crab cakes are awesome or pick the shrimp and scallop combo... Desert - Chocolate cheesecake or key-lime pie.

We come here when my wife has a hankering for fried clams. That's about all we ever order here, so if you want a detailed review of their menu you better move on! My 94 y/o mother does get the senior fish and chips and loves it, if that helps! About the fried clams - there's lots of them, and they are good. Sometimes there's LOTS of them and some times there a lot of them, but they are always good. I guess that's why we keep coming back. The service here is always good - even when it is standing room only outside waiting to get in! The servers are generally very friendly and accommodating. They keep your glasses full, and are around all the time. I can't recall a time when a manager hasn't stopped by at least once to make sure everything is OK. It is kind of a touristy looking place, but you'd think that you were on the beach not 5 miles inland.

We have been dining here for quite a few years and always have a great experience. My husband usually can't resist ordering the fish fry because he says it's mostly fish and less batter, unlike some places. It's always hot and crispy yet the fish is moist, and it's fresh. The small red potatoes, one of several sides--you get two sides with each meal--are always plentiful and prepared just right, cooked enough but not mushy. And they bring you loads of butter to make them even more sinful! I usually have the grilled Mahi, either blackened or with the Caribbean jerk seasoning and mango chutney. They are both so delicious I just keep going back and forth between the two. The fish is always very fresh. The cole slaw - theirs is pretty much my favorite anywhere - is also always fresh and full of flavor. My other favorite thing about AMOB is their tangy, powerful Margaritas...and they're big and super cheap. For me, all it takes is one. ; ) My husband usually enjoys a draft beer or two. The atmosphere is quite casual, and it can be noisy. This is not where you come for an intimate, fine-dining experience. But the service is efficient and friendly, and one of the owners has stopped by our table to assure that everything's good every time we eat there. That says a lot. This, to us, is one of those places that we really want to support...local folks working hard to offer something special.

My wife and I were on our way to another restaurant when we stumbled upon Anna Maria Oyster Bar. What a great experience. The food was great and the service was even better. We sat at the food bar overlooking the kitchen. It was fun to watch the employees work so well together. I would definitely recommend this place.

We've eaten here on a number of occasions and each time we ask why? It is next to nursing home food without the confinement. Inexpensive Atmosphere 70 Not so much the location - the crowd. Service 70 They try, but we have had bad experiences Food 70 Good portions, not so good quality Value 75 If you are over 65 years old.. It is one of the best in the area. (?!?) Ruby Tuesday, Wendy's and the outlets food court leave lots more to be desired.

  • Maria J.

Known for the seafood, but the pasta skillet with the Anna Maria Island Sauce is my favorite entree! Rachel C. and Trey were great wait staff during our 2 visits recently, very prompt, attentive service. Also, the blackened Mahi was wonderful, the cajun onion straws on top added a little more spice. And for dessert, the coconut key lime cake, if you are too full from your meal, take a slice home, you won't regret it!

  • Fo B.

Good solid seafood joint on Cortez. The place is packed with locals for good reason. So if you want an excellent huge fish sandwich with a side of cole slaw, look no further.

  • Jay K.

This is my second visit to this establishment. Jay, my server was great. The food is reasonably priced and extremely tasty. I had the fried grouper which is prepared with a very light cornbread coating with fresh Louisiana oysters to start. If you're in the area I highly recommend it.

I bounced between 3 and 4 stars, but decided to put on 4 stars. We got there and were seated right away. Our waitress came right away and we ordered drinks and appetizers. The drinks and appetizers came right away. We looked at the menu's a bit longer and waiting for the waitress to come, and when we wanted something, we had to track someone down through out the entire meal. We ordered our food, and after a while again, the waitress came back to tell us that two of the four dishes we ordered were no longer available. We got menus again and ordered again. This was the most frustrating part of the night. The crab cakes were the best I have ever tasted. The clam chowder was ok, but had only small pieces of clam. The parsley was a nice touch in presentation. The sauteed shrimp and scallop meal seemed a bit small for a coastal city. I would have expected them to be much larger than a quarter. Nonetheless, they were good. The drinks were a bit weak for my taste. (Pina colada and blended Margarita) Perhaps the best menu item we had was the keylime pie. It was outstanding! Overall, if you want to get seafood in Florida, you will do well going here. A less than average waitress and running out of specials aside, this is probably a good place

  • Tracey K.

We stopped here today for lunch and were really pleased with the service and the food. Their lobster bisque is one of the best I have ever had!!! We both had their special, 1/2 Maine Lobster stuffed with crab meat for an amazing $9.99!! Our server, Jonathon was very friendly. We will definitely consider eating here again when we are in the area.

    (5)
  • Kathleen H.

I had the teriyaki salmon. It was very good, probably some of the best food I've had while in the Bradenton area.

    (4)
  • Karl L.

Four stars is based upon my one visit, and not necessarily indicative of what you will experience. Why? We went in on a Tuesday evening, skipping the line outside to sit at the bar. 1 1/4 pound Maine lobster dinners were the special at $20. I had a dozen oysters first (actually 14 because they were small) which were truly fresh and delicious. The lobster was really good, but not filling enough, so i ordered another for $14, which was about enough with the cole slaw, fries, and a bite of my wifes mango pie. This pie, like the key lime, is home made by report. The waitstaff told me that the only fresh fish is the grouper, which is the reason for my disclaimer above. That said, what we had was delicious, and I would go again based on that.

  • Rod M.

Was here a year ago and the quality has gone down. The crab cakes were mushy, not crisp like before and the soups were very bland. This used to be our favorite place, but we won't be going back here again.

Recommended by a coworker. Stopped in at the tail end of the early bird crowd (5:30). Very pleasant server named Jimmy. Ordered the 5-piece frog legs appetizer and the yellow tuna (seared) entree with a green salad and fries for a side. Tuna was just fine. I'd never had frog legs before. Turns out I'm not a fan. Manager stopped by and let me know that they would be taken off the bill even though I told them it was okay and I would pay for them (they were still taken off the bill). Very nice experience and if I'm ever back in the area I look forward to trying everything else!!

First off, the service was very good. Sara was prompt and the food was brought out quickly. I ordered warm water Florida lobster tail, fries and applesauce. Price was $24 with a soda. I admit I'm not an aficionado of lobster, generally ordering fish or shrimp. With the good reviews I thought I would order something I hadn't had before. The meat was about the size of a smallish baked potato and somewhat tough. I felt I had to use a knife to make it small enough to dip in the drawn butter. The lobster had very little flavor. I could have just as easily been eating a soy lobster tail. The fries were good if a little greasy. The applesauce came in a single serving Mott's applesauce container. A little cinnamon would have been nice :) Perhaps I don't have a lobster palate. I may have to try a few others just to make sure though.

    (2)
  • Rita J.

For the money it's not worth it. My husband ordered the lobster tail; it was very tough. Vegetables are frozen not fresh. Applesauce comes in Motts container and has high fructose corn syrup - WTF!? I had the Cajun salmon; nothing Cajun about it unless they consider horseradish sauce on the side Cajun. I will say that my bloody Mary was good and the salmon was cooked perfectly although no flavor. I wish we had time to go to Ted Peter's in S Pasadena - now there's a 5 star treat!!!

Our first trip to the Anna Maria Oyster Bar (on Cortez) was a great experience. Lively place, and we had fun. Kaity was our waitress, and she did a good job of keeping up with our drink requests and answered all our questions. Between the three of us, we had: 1) Frog Legs appetizer 2) The Captain's Sampler platter 3) Crab-stuffed tilapia 4) Crab-stuffed, baked lobster 5) Key-Lime pie All of the entrees were well prepared and tasty. The menu has a broad range of options, from the relatively cheap to the pricier crabs and lobster dishes. (The crab-stuffed lobster was actually on sale, for a great price, and it was delicious!) The sides were all well prepared, though one of our party wanted both the tartar sauce and the coleslaw to have a bit more kick. The key-lime pie was very good, though I regret not having a cup of coffee with it. Perhaps the menu or attitude has changed recently, but it was pretty clear to me that you could have most of the menu sauteed in the garlic and wine sauce, and I can see how that is the preferred way to enjoy food at the Oyster Bar. Don't cover up the good sea food with breading, just go for the sauteed version of your favorite sea food! They had good specials, and prices starting at $11 for the crab-stuffed flounder (which I'll likely have some time soon!) Monday nights, they are currently (8/10) advertising an all you can eat fish and chips. I'll be trying that out very soon!

  • Brenda R.

Absolutely love this place! Best friendly service in Florida. We eat here at least 3 times a month. The fish is always so fresh - they will prepare it anyway you wish. The sweet potato fries are excellent and you just have to try the clams - YUM!

  • Coty S.

I will not be going back to this place. Since it is an "oyster bar" I ordered oysters. They were filled with sand, grit, and bits of shell and were small in size for $12.25. No very appealing... The food was so so, and I tried to order something that was not deep fried, so I ordered the Stuffed Flounder ($11.49). The boiled potato side was terrible, I even tried mashing it with my fork and adding butter and salt, but it did not help. I needed something since my portion of fish was so small. It was tiny and not very flavorful. Other reviewers claim that their prices are low, I ate there and did not see any low prices. Sure, some of their fried items were $9.99, like fish and chips, which were soggy and limp. But, to be honest the fried fish at Long John Silvers is better quality, less soggy, and cheaper. I was expecting fresh seafood, since it is right by the water, but it did not taste fresh at all, especially the fried shrimp. I honestly think that the best thing I ate there was their green beans. For seafood at the same price, I think that I will stick with Bonefish. Yeah yeah, I am supporting a chain, but the chain is better.

5 star for oyster rockerfellar and raw, puff salmon! 4 star for fried mushroom. Really nice service and cant beat free margarita for checking in! Will try coconut cake and groupa blacken fish next time.

Great food. Excellent prices. Tuesday is lobster night. $16.99 Thursday is prime rib night 14.99 Fresh seafood platters. Fried, baked , broiled or grilled. Your choice. Try the calamari salad. You can get it sautéed or fried. Amazing! Very friendly staff. Everyone seems fairly treated and very happy working here. They are always laughing and joking around with the customers.

Just had dinner last night with our joint cousins. Went to have the Thur. night special - Roast Beef - wait time was under ten minuets as promised . Service was good and fast, and arrived just as ordered. We all agreed that the food, service, and ambience, was as usual quiet good. We have been coming here for quite a few years and will do so again. So we just had another very good time with eight of our big family present. They set us outside and served us with haste. As usual, the food was just fine, served hot and as ordered. This visit was on 10/24/3013 -Thanks

I have been to Anna Maria oyster bar several times and their service is phenomenal they've been around for a long time they have a special for the children I think it's every Wednesday its a penny per pound that's how much they have to pay for the food so if they weigh like 47 pounds they only have to pay $0.47 so very nice environment and the staff is wonderful

    (5)
  • Chris Y.

I was happy to see that upon checking-in through Yelp they offered a free margarita! It wasn't necessarily good or bad, but I wasn't expecting much since it was free. I was curious about the Fried Froglegs that they offered so I decided to get that as an appetizer. I never had them before but I found them to be pretty good. The breading they used was really light and had a good seasoning to it. For the entrée I went with the Coconut-fried Tilapia. It was good. I only wished they gave a bigger portion of it. Overall I wasn't exactly blown away, but I would probably go back if I'm ever in the area.

Based on the advice of many of the locals we went early to avoid the crowds. Even at 2:30 the restaurant wss half full. Yelp offers a Free Margarita for checking in and we were also there fot Happy Hour so they were still only $3.00. So we ordered a few Margaritas a bowl of Clam Chowder and a half dozen of local oysters. The clam chowder was good but not the best, but the Oysters were great. For entrees we took advantage of a Salmon special and got two salmon dishes and the 3rd person got the Lobster Stew and a salad. The Stuffef Salmon in Puff Pastry was fantastic and highly recommended. The Salmon with the Cucumber Dill Sauce was very seared and the sauce was a great compliment. The manager was really nice and comped all the Margaritas which was a nice gesture. For dessert the Key Lime Pie was good but surely pre-bought, but for $3.75 who can compalin. I'd recommend it for lunch but there are better options for an overall dining experiece

Escargot, frog leggs, cod stuffed with crab. Margaritas were good, and you get a free one checking in on yelp. :)

We ate here twice during our recent visit. We always go at least once when we're in town. I wouldn't call it the best seafood, but it's pretty good. Try their fried portabella mushroom appetizer! I also loved their calamari appetizer. The crab cake was good, but not great. We had a big group for our second visit (14 or so) with no warning and they were very easy going about getting us set up (we were there at an off-peak time). Our server was very helpful! I don't even think they upcharged us for having a big group.

Had lunch here assuming it would be great because of all the great reviews. I'm truly convinced the locals think food is great because it's all they've ever had. Never having been to NYC, Chicago, Dallas, LA, or New Orleans because this cities have AMAZING food. The Mahi Mahi Jamaican jerk sandwich was extremely salty. The baked half lobster & fried were both below average. The fries tasted like regular old store brought frozen kind. The lobster bisque was good but had ZERO lobster...weird! I've never had lobster bisque without chucks of lobster meat. The service was outstanding! The waitress noticed that I only took two bites of my sandwich & asked was it okay. I told her it was too salty for my taste not expecting her I take any action. Contrarily, a handsome guy comes over and apologizes and offers me a slice of key lime pie to go. Of course, I accepted because prior reviews said it was great. Then to my surprise the bill came and he removed the Mahi Mahi sandwich. I was excited about the key lime pie but was unfortunately disappointed. The 3-stars is solely for the amazing customer experience. We probably won't go back because I don't know if I'll be happy with anything I order. Such a bummer!

Great food and EXCELLENT service. Our waitress, Kay, was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal without having to ask.

I hate to knock this establishment because it has such a great reputation among the locals on Anna Maria/Bradenton, but I really cannot give more than 2 stars for the food and service. I've been to this location a few times with family who rave about the food. I've never understood the hype. Fried seafood never impresses me much. I'm an oyster aficionado, but I had to pass being that I'm pregnant, so i ordered Grouper sandwich. The fish was tasty, but lacked any pizazz. Nothing special on the bun or accompaniment. The fries and salad was where I think my meal really fell off. Salad was wilted lettuce and old tomatoes. The French fries were soggy and cold. My 2 year old wouldn't even eat them. This place really missed the mark for such a raved about restaurant. I don't know if I'll return any time soon.

We decided to stop in for some oysters. Glad we did . The manager fixed us a special platter of different types of oysters . They were all great. Cant beat the oysters or the service.

  • Hannah H.

YUMMM! I have been coming here with my family for 3 years and have not ordered something that disappointed me! The shark is on point, and the clam chowder is amazing! The atmosphere is fantastic whether you have a party of 1,2,4, or 13! Even though the wait can be long sometimes, it is well worth it!

  • John G.

Came based on the reviews after a sporting event. It was ok, the crowd was a older, prices weren't bad food wasn't bad but I was expecting more. Ordered 2 dozen oysters which were ok. Calamari was ok marinara was bland. A pet peeve of mine is the single portion Ken's blue cheese that accompanied the wings, to me it shows lack of effort and this is probably a Cisco food service kitchen which is going to average at best. I am giving 3 stars because they serve their clients what they want but it wasn't for me.

  • Janina H.

The grouper tasted frozen and was... Wait for it... $30!!!! Shows "market price" on the menu, what a rip off! The place is nice and the margaritas tasty, very friendly waitresses! But don't get the grouper!!! If I spend so much money on food I expect a lot more!!!

Stopped for dinner with the family, gulf shrimp was excellent. Large portions everyone enjoyed their meals

    (4)
  • Sophia R.

The menu is full of fresh seafood delights, the wait staff is professional and courteous. However the soups are very disappointing, as they are all seeming just creamy broth, the lobster or clam chowder was lacking any ingredients.

    (4)
  • Dennis S.

We went there last night and was pleased but skeptical when I saw that the lobster was under $20. Several of us ordered it and were pleasantly surprised! Actually it was very good. Large lobsters cooked really well. The staff was GREAT! Our waiter, Billy owned the menu and the food came out fast. Several managers came by and asked if dinner met expectations... YES! Try the margaritas!

  • Caroll B.

Our family (18) of us went to AMOB in July for the all you can eat fish for $9.95! Excellent!! Everyone in our family was satisfied with their meal. Some got the all you can eat shrimp which was the best I have ever eaten. Catfish good, grouper good. Didn't get any grief about us being such a large party (we did go at 2 pm). Kay was one of the two servers and she went out of her way to meet our needs. For kids 10 and under, it's a penny an inch for the meal.

    (4)
  • Kevin U.

I ate here for dinner and had the fresh grouper. It was kind of boiled and tasteless. The inside looks like an old dinner and not very inviting. Go in the winter and it will be filled with all retired people. The best part of the meal was the $3.00 margarita. The service was good. There has to be better around.

Great fish and chips. .reasonable price and great service. Don't forget free margaritas coupon on Yelp

    (4)
  • Shannon M.

The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Service was top notch. Unfortunately, the oysters were minuscule, the king crab legs tough and fishy, the scallops rubbery and raw and while the popcorn shrimp were tender, delicate and tasty, they also had a fishy aftertaste. For the price, I most likely would not eat here often.

    (3)
  • Andy J.

Grouper sandwich and stuffed lobster were both good. The chicken stir-fry was terrible. The chicken in it was OK but it was on a bed of rice that tasted like it was soaked in soy sauce. The free margarita for the Yelp check in tasted odd too. Stick with the seafood and fountain drinks and you should be OK.

    (3)
  • Vic O.

Had lunch there recently, shrimp stir fry. Not good. Veggies were obviously the frozen kind, mushy and disappointing. Shrimp were meh. Rice was awful, soy sauce saturated bleh. Stop serving that crap.

  • Heather B.

Went for the lobster mania. The lobster was perfectly cooked, but had one normal size claw and one about 1/4 the normal size. A gentleman came by and inquired about our meal. I complained about the minuscule claw. He said, " let me see what I can do". A few minutes later the gentleman came back with a plate that had 2 claws on it. My husband was just as happy with his fried oysters. They were big, plump, lightly battered & crispy on the outside. The coleslaw is very good. Service is prompt & courteous. The only negative is the French fries are not fresh cut. We have been here many times & always had good food & service, but they went a little bit beyond to make up for the shrunken claw. This shows a restaurant that cares.

They had unlimited portions of fish (pollock) and chips for only $9.99! The staff was friendly and one of the owners stopped by and asked us about our experience. We went back a few days later and has salmon with crabmeat for only $23 for two orders. The chocolate cake slices were hefty. This is a great everyday go to place.

Very comfortable Hillbilly bar with fresh seafood, cheap drinks and interesting people. I would go there again.

First clue I had chosen a mediocre restaurant was the ice tea. Instant. Ugh! Had the fried oysters. Miniature oysters with way too much breading. Not that big a portion either. Waiter was poor. Asked for tarter sauce but it never came. Neither did the waiter during the meal to see if we wanted anything else. Won't go there again. Advise you skip this restaurant as well.

Not a great gluten free menu and the sides are not great the rice is nasty and they have boiled/steamed potatos seems lazy to me great customer service tho they comped our meal

One of our definite stops when in town. Oysters Rockefeller are a must every time. These are the best oysters I've ever had...I crave them. Calamari is also wonderful and tender. Get the grouper Oscar...not on the menu but so good. Fish fry is also one of the best I've ever had! Cheap drinks and vet affordable also super kid friendly.

    (4)
  • Maggie D.

Love this place! All the times we have gone, everything was always super yummy! From the fried calamari to the buffalo chicken sandwich and everything in between was great! A must go too place.

Paid a visit and found if you like fried food and no inspiration this is your spot. Unfortunately our local restaurants are loosing sight and choose the path to present entrees like Mrs. Paul's seafood entrees. Wow, coconut shrimp from the freezer. If that turns you on then by all means go. Too many of us have lowered our expectations and accept okay for great.

I am actually addicted to the clam chowder here. The food is cheap and surprisingly good, and the staff is very friendly. The ambience and decor are a little bit tacky, but hey-- this is Florida.

Anna Maria Oyster Bar is a family favorite for us! We recently moved into the area, and we had traveled back in November to look at houses and schools. We were starving one evening, and needed a place that was family friendly for our children. We looked around and found Anna Maria Oyster Bar!! At first, we were worried about the name of the place, but when we went in and they had a kid's special (kids eat and you pay a penny per inch of their height!! - Sunday - Thurs) and that my daughter loved their food...we were sold! We love the decore and the homey feeling. I also love the roll of paper towels for napkins that just hang at your booth on hangers!! The food is excellent, and the specials are a must! Great for lunch and dinner...and a wonderful place for families! Oh! And definitely get the HOMEMADE Key Lime Pie! DELICIOUS!

Very disappointing. First time there. I looked around at what everyone was eating and noticed very small portions. I'm a big eater, not fat and had to go out and get a burger, afterwards. I've never done that before. It felt insulting to spend a lot of money and leave hungry. The portions were very small and too expensive. The flounder was the smallest fish filets I've ever seen, about 3-4 inches long and no crab meat was noticeable in the paste, they called stuffing. The fry's were okay and the green beans were chewy as grass. I noticed mostly old northerners. Deep pockets with no care of getting a good meal at a good price. Happy hour stops at 5pm and so does early bird special. NO PLACE FOR THE WORKING STIFF, TO ENJOY A MEAL AND A DRINK. WILL NEVER GO BACK...

Great service. Even though we got there right at 5, the waitress suggested the early-bird all you can eat special. The fried oysters were very good but gritty like someone else said. Calamari was great as was the fish and chips. Lobster Bisque wasn't good. This was a great fried seafood place with great service and good prices.

Too greasy and really average food. The oysters were ok and the service was nice but the rest of the menu was deep fried madness.

Fried grouper sandwhich was great. My husband got the crab cakes (special for the night) and they were super yum. Kids got popcorn shrimp and they loved it. The wait wasn't long for the food, kids hardly had time to get bored, and the place was pretty busy. We'd go back again.
