Cuban Restaurant Chicken Time

The best bifstec sandwich I've ever eaten. Tender pieces of meat on perfectly pressed Cuban bread, and the most delicious mayo+garlic+butter spread I've ever had on a sandwich. I am salivating just thinking about it. This is the place to go in the Ocala area and is worth the 10 minute drive south of Ocala.
Delicious! Definitely a great find in the middle of Florida where there are more fast food restaurants than old people. The fried yucca with the garlic dipping sauce was amazing. The staff was super friendly and we'll definitely be back.
The best steak sandwich outside Ocala the cubansteak sandwich brings back memories very good

Dance 10, Looks 3. Yea I did a chorus line reference. A honey hole in the wall. In the front portion of a mid century travel lodge, this place is easy to miss when driving down 301. In fact I've driven by it for 5 years without knowing it was there. But thanks to other Yelpies I hunted it down, determined to get my grub on. Upon entering you see a small, basic Diner not much to look at but the smell of bacon has a way of making everything pretty. I will mention this, they have a wall with flyers and ads for all of the local Belleview small businesses which is a big thumbs up. The service was excellent as I was wanting for nothing. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, the pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and home fries. We did a table share so we could try a bit of everything. They are known for their biscuits and gravy and there is a good reason for it. I they were a delicious piece of heaven. Everything was yum yum but I have to give a special shout out to the scrambled eggs. Yes, I said scrambled eggs. Normally not the star of the plate these were a standout. I ate every last bite and had to spend the rest of the day in my fat girl sweat pants!
I was up here on business working on a commercial the a documentary the next day. Stayed in a cheap hotel. I asked where is the best breakfast? Everyone said, Mary's Place. Boy are the right! All locals
Nice place with good breakfast fair and good service. Pancakes are large and fluffy, eggs, smoked sausage and home fries very good. The only problem was the smell coming from the restrooms, which for me, made for a not so enjoyable experience. I would try again but if the air was similar would just go someplace else.

This McDonalds offers a large Playplace for the little ones. The Playplace is open from 9am-9pm. Service was fast and the food was good. One thing that caught my eye, they have a sign inside the dining room that states: No Loitering, 30 minute time limit for consumption of food.

We enjoyed our first visit to Riccardo's today. We opted for a large (20 inch) cheese pizza for $14.99. A medium (12 inch, which is a large at most pizza places) was $11.99. Lunch specials were available, with a variety of salad options plus half a sandwich or other choices for $7.99. We went on a Thursday, and there is a kids eat free special on Thursdays. Sunday's special is AUCE pasta with meat sauce or fettucine alfredo, Monday's special is AUCE fish fry. Tuesday there is B1G1 medium pizza. Today they also had a honey lime chicken dish available. Other specials are available throughout the week, and you can keep up with the latest news on their Facebook page. The food was hot and fresh, and tasted delicious! Our waitress offered freshly grated parmesan for our pizza. Service was very good and she was checking on us often and refilling drinks, even offering one for the road. The restaurant is clean and everything was in good repair. There was a small amount of clutter just inside the door and near the bathroom, but this was minor and had no effect on our dining experience. The ladies' room was clean and well stocked. It was a little warm in there but to be fair a) it was the hottest week of the year and b) it's a family owned pizza place that makes fresh, hot food all day. So it was not a big deal. Overall, a nice pizza place and those are hard to find in our area. I am happy to have found a new option for an inexpensive meal out or to pick up a good pizza for dinner while I'm out running errands. The restaurant does offer catering.
I love this place. They have the most unique recipes for specials I've seen in the whole area! The calzones are unbelievable and the sauce is perfect. My wife said that the food tastes like the chef loves to cook and I agree!! Be careful of the garlic knots, they're addicting.
This place has terrible, oily and dirt cheap nasty ingredients. The pizza is plain bad. The server was nice but not attentive. The pizza guy in the back had a grumpy look on his face like he's tired of customers and hates his job. The pasta fagioli soup was like dumpy clay and smelled rotten. I think this place is horrible but no one knows the difference being there aren't any real Italian pizzeria's around. My wife even feels sick as I type this. Don't waste your money here. Chefs of Napoli is much better.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch here, had the bacon cheeseburger w/side of fries. Burger was large enough to share with another person, and was prepared exactly to taste. Staff was timely and courteous. Would definitely recommend and will make many return visits.
Tried this place and found the food to be very greasy and the restaurant not clean overall.
Cal's Place is a super, small town eatery with hearty menu items & friendly service. I've attended a number of group meetings here (Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, personal biz meetings) and the quality of service & food are consistently good. Cal's appreciates your business & it shows.

For the area it's a no brainer. Must go. Probably the pizza, calzone, Stromboli is the best thing to order. Pizza oven and dough are working together very well in this place. Have no idea if the pasta dishes are worth trying but I'll pass. The strange twist here is a rotisserie chicken menu. That might be an option next time. Good solid place but would never go out of my way to go here. However, if the timing works out then it will work just fine
I am not one to be picky or give a bad review, however in this case it is well deserved. Let me start with the service. This is obviously a family owned restaurant, with that said the staff they have represents the family, the waitress I had was rude. I asked a simple question is the Caesar dressing made in house? Are there anchovies in the dressing. Her response with attitude was most Caesar dressing has anchovies. Now I am aware of that fact and I am a fan of anchovies. Her attitude was uncalled for. As for the food. The chicken was cooked most likely this morning as it was dry, over cooked and cold. Not worth it. I won't be coming back to this place.
Good pizza. Not the best I've ever had, but good. The calzones are just okay. The pasta dishes are the best thing at the joint.
