If you want something crunchy and fresh, you need to eye the trays and see what has been made recently. I like to go in and check that first, or find a tray that is almost empty and order that so they make it fresh. Overall though, if you go during lunch hours things are typically hot and fresh(er) than other times. Beijing Beef and Orange Chicken are awesome, the rest seems to be just about average mall quality food. Fried rice over noodles in my opinion as well. One thing I can say is nice is that the kitchen is open, and the restaurant is typically clean. Bonus: on each receipt there is a survey you can do to get a free entree item on your next visit. That way if you come with someone for lunch or dinner, you can divide up a 2 entree dinner with that bonus item and call it a day.

If they had a lower mark I give them it!! This is NOT Chinese. I can get a better Chinese dinner out the freezer section !! Be warned this is fast pre cooked food!! Worse then a school cafeteria!! Good luck when eating here ** N Ps They Don't Even Have Soup !!

I like their food. They make it fresh if you ask.. Every time I eat here I am able to eat peacefully.. Not like normal Chinese food restaurants. I know it's not very authentic, but I like it. And I don't get sick! Lol

The key to getting decent food at Panda Express is to get something that was recently made. When we visited it was fairly crowded but apparently not crowded enough for a good turnover of food. My orange chicken and honey shrimp both tasted like they'd been sitting too long. The girls working behind the counter said the bare minimum that they needed to to complete your order. In fact, when I first walked up to the counter the girl just stared at me. No greeting , no "can I help you". I had to ask her if she was ready which she curtly responded, "Yes". Maybe they have bets on who can say the least to the customer! But at least the kitchen is open so you can watch to see if any shenanigans are going on back there.

I stop here about once every four months. My standards are the Orange Chicken and Black Pepper Chicken. The best way to describe Panda Express is as mall quality food without the mall. The interior has a certain Andy Warhol meets world Wildlife Fund je ne sais quoi. The health inspector was there as I was dining this last time, and he was neither shaking his head nor running in terror. That is always a good sign in a Chinese restaurant in Apopka, no matter how mediocre the menu may be.

One word: TERRIBLE!! Poor excuse for asian food. Worse than my high school cafeteria. Bland, no flavor and completely unedible. It takes a lot for me to actually throw food away, but Panda managed to come through on that one!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
