Bayridge Sushi Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

My friend ordered the bubba roll, which was good. I ordered the lunch special Hibachi platter with steak and shrimp. My platter came out cold. I never return food, so I just ate it. As far as the service, there literally was a moment where we didn't see our server for over a half an hour. He rarely checked on us ( there were 2 other tables, so they were not busy at all).We had to have our seater refill our glasses. I would not recommend this restaurant.

My girlfriend and I have been long term patrons of this location. That is, until the waiter cut her off mid-order to tell me I cannot wear a tank top here. He was very adamant and insisted that he would make an "exception" this time, even though there is no signage or anything to dictate a dress code. We ordered the same roles we've always ordered. They were mushy and sour as if they were trying to stretch the shelf life of their product. When we said something to the store manager, Larry, it was met with attitude and argument. We will never go back to Bayridge and I encourage you not to support such an establishment.

Bayridge is my local sushi place in Apopka. On my most recent visit, we stopped by for the Tuesday $1 sushi deal after three. Bayridge is nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere inside. The service is always prompt and friendly. The quality of sushi is above average. I would recommend a more extended drink menu. The $1 sushi deal is a little misleading but explained once you start filling out your order form. The $1 deal is for single, larger pieces and the standard rolls are discounted to $3 with premiums added for special rolls. It's nice that some beers are included during the deal window. I will keep coming to Bayridge and recommend to my friends!

This is why you shouldnt drink sake at work. I assume this is what the chef was doing who made my roll. Tonight I got the most jacked up looking sushi roll I've ever seen (see attached photo). Quote "It looks like your roll threw up". in the past I've had issues with their rolls staying together, but this is sad looking. Other then that though the food is always great. I see bad reviews about the service (think that's the longwood location though) but we hardly eat there, normally take out. The couple times we have dinned in (both apopka & longwood) we never had a issue with service. if only the quality of the roll was improved it would be 5 stars. but this isnt Japan. The dedication will probably never be there, but I would still recommend.

Bayridge has been my favorite restaurant for 5 years. It's so very I unfortunate that they have lost a loyal customer. Our waiter just told my boyfriend that tank tops are not allowed. They have a broken bathroom sink in the front of their dining room- I highly doubt this is a first class place that requires black tie attire. Also, they remade my sushi rolls rolls twice. They were completely uneatable. I am so disappointed in my experience.

My husband and I came here one day because my co worker said it wasn't bad for the price. As soon as I saw that they had the dollar sushi, i knew right away this place did not serve fresh fish. As soon as we were seated and i saw their menu, I wanted to get up and leave, but I thought it might of been rude so we stayed. When I go to a "Japanese" restaurnt I typically order either sushi or sashimi. I didn't trust their quality, so my husband and i ordered hot food from the kitchen...it was nothing special. I did order one tuna sashimi to verify the quality and I was right on the spot. They use the worst quality ever. If you can't tell the difference between the quality fish, then this place is for you, otherwise i would stay away.

I feel bad giving 2 so I'll give 3 stars, service was pretty bad. Only one guy working like 8 tables. The people in front of us sent the order back, they told the guy it wasn't what they asked for. The people behind us did the same. We ate our meal but was actually not what we ordered either. Was ok but not what we ordered. We were kind of in a rush and I hate complainers. I guess you can give them a try, just stay on top of your order. I did tell the guy he got the order wrong. He seemed confused and so sorry and walked off. Lol

Absolutely terrible service. By far the worst sushi place I've ever been to. On a Monday when they have $1 sushi just forget about it. The waitors/waitresses don't acknowledge you when you come in and you are extremely lucky to have someone notice you. If you wan't another drink, be prepared to wait 20 minutes even if it isn't busy.

Ran in this night for take-out. I was craving the super volcano roll, well to be fair, I love the baked scallop goodness on top. However, once home with my goodies they were not as prior experiences. The volcano roll was lacking on this visit. The baked scallops didn't look too appealing an skimped on the amount. Ok I got past that an then when attempting to chopstick a piece the roll was falling apart! Seriously?! I thought maybe the scallops were causin a difficulty but I took a closer look, nope the roll just wasn't rolled tight enough so was falling apart. I've never had that happen here before. That was disappointing but still tasted good. Now for the good part! My second roll of choice was butterfly. I normally get the kiwi roll and love the combo of fruit an rice an protein. Like a sweet an salt combo. Butterfly has kiwi an strawberry! Score, two fresh fruits! I really enjoyed the flavor of this roll. Something had a nice crunch inside as well. I recognize the sauce they drizzle as a sweet chili. The one normally served with egg rolls. The combo of fruit, cream cheese, an sweet chili sauce was perfect. No soy sauce or wasabi needed. A great stands on its own roll. As a side note, I rarely even use soy sauce or wasabi. I think the sushi should be eaten without these condiments actually. I find them overpowering for the delicate flavors of sushi. I will give the volcano roll another try on a sit in visit, maybe having this to go ruined it. It is a fantastic roll so please try it on your visit if its your typical choice. There are a few stores within walking distance to make use of your wait time for take-out. Who doesn't like to see if there is a fab shoe onsale?!

One of the best sushi in the area. Very fresh and fast service... Bubba Shrimp is one of the best!

Sushi was alright, nothing special. Rice tasted old, no flavor. Good specials on Mondays. A lot of the rolls favored crab or shrimp, not too much options for people who love spicy. Server was rude.. He treated us very rudely because we came at 920, even though they didn't close until 10. When we sat down, he asked us if we were ready to order. How could we possibly be ready, if they just handed us menus? Won't be back..

Favorite sushi place I have ever been. I have never been disappointed, looks like a hole in the wall because it is in a strip mall but the rolls are FANTASTIC!

Good place for sushi .. If your idea of sushi is crappy service.. mediocre sushi at best .. and the worse front of the house staff I have seen in a while. We went in for the sushi happy hour from 3-6. 2 other tables had customers and the third was filled with their wait staff,, chattering away as if they were at dinner as well. Eventually.. one from the table (i guess the one who drew the lowest straw) decided to take our order. After the drinks were brought, someone at my table didn't like the tea and asked for it to be changed out for a water. After drinking mine a bit... . I noticed a odd taste. I flagged the waiter down and asked for a soda.. At no time did he bother to see what was wrong what the tea and even tasked bringing my replacement to another wait staff... This was the last I would get to talk to my server.. as the conversation at the wait staff break table must of been getting interesting.. So once our food was brought by a runner.. we ate a fair portion of sample sushi from the menu. It was slapped together and very bland . The so called "spicy tuna" was no more spicy than the mayo they used to make it. Tuna Tataki had 7 wafer thin slices.. a bit expensive for almost 10$ Generally, I like to see a wait staff.. not only come by after the food was delivered and ask how is everything.. but at least.. ask if any of the 4 empty glasses could possibly use a refill... These simple tasks were all but a far fetched dream as the laughter was getting louder and louder at the wait staff break table As I would stack the empty plates ... slurp loudly at my empty glass.. and turn around in my seat as if to be looking for an emergency exit... Nothing I could do would spark the interest of the table full of staff. Eventually.. after staring at the stack of plates and empty glasses with no check in sight .. I realized we were S.O.L. on any other service at this point. I wandered to the front to the register and greeted by what must of been the manager..He reached out to ask for my my check.. I gave him a very confused look and said. "Don't you have it?" He did not expect this and looked as confused as I did He then asked who my waiter was.. Again.. he is trying to confuse me.. so I replied " I am really not sure.. I haven't seen him since before my food was dropped off" I then explained that we never even got a refill of any of our drinks..' Then I said.. " I think it is one of those guys at the table.. but again.. it has been a while.. so I could be wrong" The manager yelled something in Japanese.. then.. and only then.. does the table disperse. The waiter then jumped up to now see if we need a refill...as we are walking out the door.. Any way.. we didn't bother with the "refills" as we were not going to wait and then stand at a register to finish off our drinks. Wish I knew what he said.. I would of said it a long time ago. Manager didn't offer to do anything .. no "to go drinks" . not even.. " Hey.. we charged you 9 bucks on drinks and never refilled them.. let me take off 2 drinks" I really don't feel like squabbling.. I would much rather bid a good day.. and then.. pass along my story Good luck if you still want to go here..

Decided to give this place a second chance today. The food was good, but the service was terrible. It took forever for them to take our order, then we were missing one of our sushi rolls when the food came. To top it off, we were done with our meal for 15 minutes before the server came to clear our table and bring our check. Not coming back.

Huge portion sizes for a hibachi restaurant. It's priced really well for what you get. Our server was always on top of drinks and the food came out fast. The crab Rangoon is to DIE for. Stop what you are doing and order it now. No seriously. Order it immediately.

Prices are affordable. Ran a few nice specials prior to 6pm. Not so busy though..not at lunch or dinner. The sashimi roll is the absolute bomb. This roll is as good as Amura or any high end place. Staff is courteous and competent. Sushi affordable without the glamour and glitz..

My husband and I are big sushi eaters and I must say, this place is DELICIOUS! The menu has a wide range of rolls and once you get your sushi you will be pleased to see how much fish they give you on the rolls, unlike other sushi restaurants where the fish is thin the sushi here is very thick, fresh and yummy! The staff here is great and the look inside is decorated to the tee. We will be going back here again and again and again!

The services there is terrible. my family and I didn't even bother to stay. We stood There for 20min waiting to be seated and the restaurant was practically empty. When the waiter finally sat us he ignore us for another 15min. rather go to my regular sushi spot Shari's downtown.

I've been to several sushi Bars in the Orlando area, and lots across the country. I enjoy this one the very much. Especially the Sushi lunch specials. It may not be high class but everything is clean, the food is fresh and the service prompt. When I return to town from business trips, I make a point to stop in for lunch. I really enjoy the Heaven Roll.

Really good sushi!! They have $3 happy hour rolls, so you can eat pretty inexpensively! I would definitely come back!

I use to love this place. Close to my work, great prices and the Sushi never disappoints. Apparently just in the past month or so, they're gone under some sort of "new management". I've been there twice since the change and both times have been EXTREMELY awful. My first experience back there, the new "manager" he has blonde streaks in his hair, was putting up a fight with my co worker about her using my credit card to purchase my meal. The past year and a half I've been going there, there's never been an issue with it and this time was different. He forced me to send him a credit card authorization page and made a simple purchase this ridiculously huge ordeal. And what made it irritating for me, he has nothing but a rude attitude the entire time. The second time was today actually and I ordered the SAME THING I've ordered for the past year and a half. The waiter got it wrong and when he brought it to me, I said oh no I ordered this actually and he looks at me and says "no, no you didn't". I didn't know it became okay for a waiter to tell the customer that he's WRONG. Last time I checked, the customer is always right. Afterwards, from a far I could see the "new" manager that I had an issue with just a few days before staring and me and talking about me to his co workers. The food is still great, don't get me wrong. But this "new management" is BEYOND rude and have been extremely disrespectful to me. It's sad to see such a great place be ruined by horrible people.

Have been coming here every other week for years. Service gets worse every time. Server brought drinks, took order and brought one meal for one of the 3 of us. The other meals where placed on the sushi bar and sat there for at least 30 - 45 minutes. Waiter ignored us and waited on other tables seated after us. There were about 6 other tables being served by 2 waiters and a manager. People around us ordered after us, ate and paid before 2 of our party got our food. We finally got waiters attention and he went and got our sushi. There was no apology and no offer to refill drinks. Waiter was dismissive with us. This seems to happen frequently now but we always made excuses for them because it is close to home. I noticed sushi chefs watching food on bar but never called servers over to pick up food. No communication here? Manager and servers walked by us several times and should have noticed only one of us had been served. We are done- won't go back. Have to get our sushi fix elsewhere.

A poor as you can get without being bad. The rolls were edible, but very poorly made. We ordered five rolls, each of which was flawed. They were created with the elegance of a burrito from a street truck. The pieces were cut in completely different sizes, rather than a somewhat uniform piece as one might usually expect. They were also built poorly--e.g., one roll had a huge block of tuna in one end (and no avocado), while the other end was all avocado and no fish. The cream cheese in the smoked salmon roll was sour. It was either going bad, or of really poor quality. Another roll that had avocado in it just had chunks of avocado shoved into it because it had been made so poorly. It was more like guacamole than what you'd expect on a plate of sushi. And finally, I had asked for no ginger to come with any of the items. Each of the carry out boxes was loaded with ginger. Good luck if you've an allergy and request something to be held. I really wanted to like this place as it would have served as a break from the usual whilst staying with relatives. Instead, half of the food ended up being binned.

Bayridge is quite good. The sushi is actually excellent in a very nice atmostphere. Have gone here several times as it's a hop, skip & jump from my home. I've only had the sushi here as with their Longwood location as well. This is much nicer & newer, but both serve great sushi. I just felt that they are somewhat pricey, yet they are always having deals & coupons going on. On Mondays they have $1 sushi, but if you're only into rolls I think they discount them as well.

LOVE THIS PLACE. That pretty much sums it up. After reading multiple reviews on Yelp, Hubs and I decided to give it a try a couple of months ago. We stopped in for a mid-afternoon lunch on a Saturday. We learned what Bento boxes are. Fabulous. Now, we go weekly. I admit.... I'm the one who always asks to go, but Hubs never says no. Each visit, we try different sushi rolls. Nervana. And always a Bento box. Our leftovers are just as yummy. Service is efficient, from warm towels to final drinks, and everything in between. Not sure if they take reservations, but we went on a Friday night recently, with friends, and it was quite a wait (30+ minutes) and food was a little slow... VERY busy. Very popular. Casual, comfortable. Great for a 1st date or a 50th date! Cozy booths and low lighting add to the ambience. Unsure? Go for lunch and try lots of good stuff at lower prices. I'm pretty sure you'll be back for dinner! :)

I've been to the Longwood location and wasn't impressed. This location is much better. The restaurant is new, clean and has nice decor. They even have a Tatami room available(separate area with a low table where you sit on the floor shoeless)... how fun! The sushi was really good too! Surprisingly so considering the unremarkable shopping center that the restaurant is in. The fish was fresh and the rolls were large and tasty with great flavor combinations. Our favorites are the Dancing Dragon roll and Super Volcano roll. Besides sushi we only had pot stickers which were a little on the small side but were cooked wonderfully and delicious! Stay away from the fried cheesecake...gross! We are definitely going back!

Great sushi. I don't know how this place only had 3 stars. I come here a lot and the sushi is always delicious. I took off a star tonight because the service was slow. However, the food was good. I got the Kathleen Roll and the Shawn Roll. Both are rolls I get a lot. I noticed new rolls were added to the menu, but I didn't feel like venturing out today. The rolls always taste fresh and have lots of flavor. There's 2 Bayridge locations, but I've only been to this one. Usually the service is better than it was today. Definitely recommend this sushi place.

We arrived at 730 the restaurant was only half full and it took at least 5 minutes before a drink order was taken. We waited at least as long to place our dinner order. It took another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. I had chicken katsu which was very good, however, it was not hot figure it sat. Also, favorable comment on portion size its two meals for sure. I am not sure I would come back because of the wait time.

This place has come a long way since my last visit over a year ago. They have completely renovated the interior- looks so much better. The menu has a lot of new appetizers (cold & hot). We ordered a few large hot sakes, edamame, tuna takos, krab don (pic provided), seafood soup & avocado salad (pic provided). The edamame was extremely fresh, the tuna takos were stuffed with the freshest tuna & seaweed salad, the krab don were huge jalapeños stuffed w/ cream cheese & krab. The seafood soup is a light broth base with an array of different types of seafood (huge scallops, krab, lobster, huge shrimp & tons of veggies), and the avocado salad was also very fresh & delightful. For dinner we got a few specialty rolls (super volcano, spicy salmon). We also got the salmon hibachi (pic provided). The presentation was quite impressive. The rolls were delish- also very fresh (the fish eggs popped). The salmon hibachi was ginormous! Two filets, fresh veggies & a ton of lo mein. Our waitress was awesome! Honestly could not have asked for better service! We will definitely be back to Bayridge :)

This is our sushi date place. The atmosphere is pleasant but not intrusive the have a small wine beer and sake selection to complement a truly vast menu. If you are ordering from the menu I'd recommend the bento box. However the real time to go here is 3 to 6 every day but Saturday or all day Monday labor. That is when happy hour is on. You will find a generous selection of nigiri for a dollar. Standard salmon and tuna rolls for 3 dollars and some specialty rolls for under 5. Me and the fiancé can spend less than 40 dollars and have sushi left to take home! I will say the service is middling. Everyone is nice and friendly but don't expect a lot of conversation or someone to explain the menu in much detail. Overall quality of food also is not that of a high level place of course but it's more than competently prepared with good quality ingredients. try Bayridge you will not regret it.

I've been a Bayridge Sushi fan since the first one opened in Longwood. Being as I have changed my living location I am frequenting the Apopka Bayridge. As from the beginning, the freshness and quality of their sushi always amazes me. On top of the excellent quality, their pricing is quite competitive in comparison to some of the popular places such as Amura. Five stars on quality, deliciousness, freshness, service, atmosphere and pricing! I'd recommend Bayridge Sushi as tops to everyone!

Terrible customer service. I went there last week with a friend for lunch and our waiter was so rude and dismissive that when he returned with our drinks, we asked for another waiter so that we would save him from having to serve us and not get a tip. (In retrospect, we should have just left.) He "apologized" and said it was "just part of his character"!!! I asked for his manager and he said that there was not one there. Once he left, a man walked by with a tag that read "manager". I stopped him and told him about the awful service we were getting and how the waiter had just LIED TO US! He listened but essentially said that he couldn't really do anything because our waiter was related to the owner, but that we were free to write on the comment card that comes with the bill. Needless to say, I will never be going back there. The food is not worth putting up with the awful service.

Sitting here now. Service is awful and the rolls were questionable. They didn't taste fresh at all and had a super fishy after taste. Not coming back, don't recommend.

I have mixed emotions about Bayridge because of the half dozen times I have eaten at there various locations I have not been entirely impressed. The rolls while ok on flavor lack the ability to stay together when you pick them up to eat. The food is presented nicely. The servers have been pleasant. The cost is higher on some items but if you look for coupons you can save a few bucks. They are ok but not a place I crave to eat my sushi.

I just took my dad here for his birthday lunch the sushi was good but the service was terrible. They had three sushi chefs and it took 15 minutes to get our sushi which was very little one roll each when we were one of three tables in the restaurant only one of which had not been served either. Every time I go in the same man who appears to be the manager is my waiter and he is extremely rude and doesn't listen to anything you ask for my dad was without a cup of water for a good 20 minutes and I placed an order for more sushi and he completely ignored me and didn't place the order so I ended up having to wait behind three more tables to get their food. And the roles were about half the size as the previous order I had had when it was the exact same type of sushi. Very disappointed probably won't go back.

If you're looking for cheap sushi in Apopka, this is a pretty good place. Honestly, I think it's the only place. The sushi is decent, but nothing to write home about. Their lunch specials used to be pretty good, but they only include basic rolls, and they just got a little pricier, so I don't come here as much anymore. They do have beer and liquor, which helps, and their specialty rolls are huge, so you're not left wanting. My favorite was the flying dragon roll, wrapped in unagi. It's pretty hard to mess up eel.

These folks really need to get their act together. The food may be borderline acceptable, but who wants to patronize a place run by people like this? I know there is a cultural difference, but these are downright rude people. We came in with a party of four. There was ONE other table in the restaurant... A manager, 2-3 servers, a busser, and another manager there. Staff to customer ratio of 2:1. THE SERVICE WAS NON-EXISTENT! By non-existent, I mean they didn't even acknowledge us for 10 minutes, we had get up and ask for someone to come and get us waters. Our server literally left for the night and the person that came back to bring us our checks didn't understand a word of English. Manager was rude, servers were rude, everyone was just downright rude. They also try to reel people in with a $1 menu billboard at the 436 intersection. People who are saying this is the best sushi they've ever had - I'm really sorry, hopefully you'll try a reputable place. For the prices they are charging, this is just a joke to me. I guess if your craving some very mediocre sushi and want to pay way more than it's worth you could order take-out from them. Don't sit down if you expect any level of service.

  • Laura V.

Decent little sushi joint. It was a little dim in there and seemed a little dirty, but I tried it anyway. The sushi was very good and I was surprised by the amount for the price. My husband does not eat sushi so he got a bento box and he liked it alright. It isn't his favorite food so I wasn't surprised by his lack of enthusiasm. The reason for the 3 stars versus 4 stars is for the service. After our food came we were completely ignored. We sat for more than 20 minutes after we had finished eating and finally had to flag someone down to get the check. No one ever cleared our plates. The waiter was not the same person who brought us our food (I hate that) and the woman the actually brought us our food was very rude. She plopped the food in front of us which got miso soup all over the table. She did not apologize and just walked away without cleaning the mess. Tom also doesn't like Miso soup so he didn't eat that either, and it sat on the table throughout our meal, along with my empty soup and salad bowls. A little training in this place would go a long long way.

I just got back from eating here. We really overdid it this time. Jalapeno roll. Kiwi roll. A roll I forget the name of. Spicy tuna roll. Oh gosh, we could have went without that one. I can hardly breathe. Love all of the sushi here and love the service. They are always pretty quick even when it's busy. One of the staff sees me so much he probably thinks I am addicted to sushi. Well, I am. And this is our favorite sushi place in the area.

Okay, I don't understand the rave reviews on this place. First off, I ordered white fish sashimi. I bit into it, but couldn't bite it. It was hard, it wouldn't tear. If the fish was fresh, it should come apart easily and practically melt in your mouth. I literally could not even bite it to eat it. I also ordered the lunch special of 2 rolls, I got a spicy tuna roll and spicy yellowtail roll. The colors of the filling were practically the same. The problem with this? Tuna is red, yellowtail is white. There should have been a distinct color difference between the two. There was barely any fish in the spicy roll filling, not sure exactly everything that was in it since it was a decent amount of filling in my roll. The ginger salad was more like ginger dressing soup with a few pieces of lettuce in it and half a slice of tomato. The miso soup wasn't good either. Nothing was good. The water tasted awful and the lemon I was going to use to make it taste better was dried up and slimy. Gross. I know. Yeah, this place..not so good.

I went there because I saw an advertisement in a magazine for the all-you-can-eat. I was completely blown away on the quality of the sushi. It was a limited menu, but it was a rather large selection. All of the sushi and rolls were amazing with great quality fish, and didn't have a lot of filler. I am totally planning on eating there again, and which they would open up a location closer to downtown Orlando with the same all-you-can-eat deal. I enjoy the atmosphere except that the TVs weren't in view from all the seats in the restaurant. There were two TVs high up on the wall on one side and none on the opposite wall so it made it sort of distracting to be sitting there with company and then not be able to keep their attention because the TVs were keeping it. I would suggest that they put at least one on the other side on the same channel so a topic could arise when everyone sees the same thing at the same time. As far as the service goes, I thought it was really amazing. My glass never went empty and the food came out really quickly.

Have been here twice and the food is quite good. Ordered the three rolls special for lunch which comes out to $10 and also an order of their volcano roll. Amazingly good one! My friend got the dragon roll and it was equally delicious! The service was speedy and the place was not overly packed when we arrived for lunch early on a Saturday.

I'm really torn between a 3 and 4 star rating. Up until the last time I went, this place was pretty great. I go for lunch, pay $5 and get soup (meh), salad and two rolls. The rolls are great, and you can't leave without being full. I'm a big guy, and I fight to eat it sometimes (or what others share). For $5 you get to pick whatever rolls they have on the list - it's a pretty decent list, but I'm no connoisseur. I keep meaning to go Monday's where it's $1 per roll - although that seems too good to be true. Anyway, their lunch service has gotten a little slow. Last time I went, I ended up having to take almost a two hour lunch - it was PRETTY FREAKIN RIDICULOUS. That, and my sushi tasted like it had been made on time, but delivered an hour later - gross. Needless to say, I didn't leave a tip. I would have walked out, if it weren't for the specific company I was with. I'd be willing to give them another try eventually, but I'd walk out and never come again if that happened again. But otherwise, the place itself is really pretty nice. The wait staff has been nice as well. Here's an update: lunch special is now $6 & I'm trying the $1 sushi today. they have a short menu, with many for $3 too. Available for takeout. Another update: I left with a pretty light bag. I got back to work and saw that I had FOUR SMALL PIECES OF SUSHIMI. This took me all of two minutes to eat. THAT IS NOT THE SAME AS FOUR ROLLS - WHAT A RIPOFF!!! I'm dropping to one star, as I'm sick of this place. I will avoid coming back again.

This used to be my go to Sushi restaurant but after many bad experiences; long wait times to sit down although not many patrons, long wait times to order, long wait to get food, receiving wrong order on to go orders, having to call after placing an online order, the water tastes like it comes strait from the sewer and the rolls are very inconsistent. My husband and I decided just not to go back and its been OVER a year now.

Your neighborhood sushi restaurant, prices are ok, sushi rolls were alright, nothing impressive. I went there a while ago and will have to go back soon to give a better review. Service was fast, I liked the setting of the place, it was nice and cozy.

This is an old favorite for me and my otouto. You just can't beat the all- you-can-eat for $20. All of our faves are on the AYCE menu, so we never even look at the regular menu though I'm sure that's good, too. So glad this place opened up in Apopka. Nice to have my favorite sushi nearby. Fresh fish, friendly fast service, good price, AYCE---just can't beat it! Sugoi!

Always a good time at this place. I'm giving it 3 stars only because the service is always very slow even when it's not busy. The sushi rolls are great and Monday is happy hour all day with special priced rolls.

The sushi is pretty good for $20 all-you-can-eat. They advertise it all over the place, however when you get into the restaurant you have to ask for the all-you-can-eat menu. I am not sure why this is the case. Do they want you to order the more expensive sushi off the regular menu? If they want you to do that then why do they advertise it? Do they advertise it so they get you into the restaurant and then want you to feel embarrassed for having to ask for the all-you-can-eat menu so you'll just order off the regular menu? I don't get it.

I have eaten here with my family before and not had any problems. Today was VERY different when we attempted a to-go order. My daughters are vegan and always order rolls with only veggies. She will explain this and ask nicely for the utensils, board and roller be cleaned prior to making her rolls to prevent cross contamination. The manager Larry agreed to do this and I picked up the order without incident. When I arrived at home we discovered the rolls were contaminated with fish roe (eggs). I called the restaurant and explained the problem and the manager Larry told me (in a snotty tone) there was no fish roe on the rolls, and it was ginger. I told him the roe was there and he insisted they did not use roe on these rolls. I asked him if they used roe on ANY rolls in the restaurant and he said yes. I explained that the roe had contaminated these rolls and that my daughter could not eat them. I offered to bring them back to show him, and he agreed. I drove the five miles back and showed the rolls to the person at the desk. He brought them back to the kitchen. He came back and said they would remake them and I explained I did not want them remade but would like a refund for the rolls my daughter could not eat. THEN Larry the mangler came out and said he would have them remade. I again explained I did not want them remade but would like a refund for the rolls my daughter could not eat. THEN Larry the mangler went to inspect the rolls. When he came back he said (again in his snotty tone) he would have to charge me half the money for the rolls. I was incredulous! 1. He was rude. 2. He told me I was wrong. 3. He made me drive all the way back to restaurant and prove the food was contaminated. 4. He wanted to charge me for their mistake. I finally told him I wanted to speak to the owner and would dispute the charge with my credit card company. By the time we finished the conversation I was ready to reach over the hostess stand, grab him by his greasy spiked hair, and strangle the asshole. I plan to call the owner Ben tomorrow. DO NOT EAT HERE! FIRE Larry the mangler!
