i love their hoagies, although they are very different from other normal sub shops/deli's but differnt good they give you options on meats and the quality/tastes of cheese you want , if you don't know the difference between an hard or mild cheese they let you sample. They have great sides (pepper shooters for individual servings) they also have deli cuts, home made desserts and salads!.. LOVE IT only negative very limited seating in-house..

The worst tuna sandwich and service was just horrible. The bread was wonder white roll. It took them lots of time to figure how to a refund. A great name in Delaware down the tubes

I first stumbled upon this small sub shop on the way home from Ocean City, MD and since that fateful day, my family has stopped here every year when coming home from our beach trip. *For vegetarians: I definitely recommend the Veggie Diablo. Eggplant with sharp provolone, broccoli rabe, and long hot peppers. It's very spicy but deliciously idiosyncratic of mixed flavors and zest. Definitely worth the price. It costs around $6-9 for a foot-long small sub. All the toppings are fresh, including meat and veggies. They sell their own deli meat and make their own sub breads. That's how fresh their subs made. Very friendly and attentive staff; efficient and quick service. The shop located in Wilmington, DE is right near the highway so it's great stop for lunch if you're on the road!

Authentic Italian hoagies. Great salami and sharp provolone. And they have Coke in glass bottles.

I've seen and heard about Primo before so I found them online and checked out their website. I've heard about the quality of their ingredients. I saw they had capicola and prosciutto, which I've wanted to try. They allowed me to try both; I liked the prosciutto a lot. But I wound up ordering what I saw on their menu when checking them out online. I ordered the old world meatball with sharp provolone. Damn that thing was good. The bread was great; it held up even with the sauce that was on it and didn't turn into a soggy mess. I'm looking to try different things on their menu.

My hoagie roll that I got was hard as a rock and I could not eat it so I had to throw it away

I love this Primo's location. They have the absolute best hoagies in town! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The location is on the kirkwood highway strip, in the shopping center with liberty travels...so very easy to drive in and out of. A must visit for a quick lunch or last minute take out dinner. Catering trays are awesome, my office often orders from them. It's my favorite hoagie chain and it's great to have them on kirkwood highway!
