Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Amateurs. I have always loved Pizza Hut, and have been so disappointed over the last few years. I ordered online tonight at the Kirkwood Highway store. It's usually about an hour or longer although I waited one time over 3 hours only to be hung up on repeatedly and they actually NEVER showed up at all!! It said that it was over an hour, which I would have just ordered somewhere else if I had realized but it was too late. They called from the store right about when the order time was quoted saying that my food was ready and sitting there but the driver was out so I could either come and get it or wait another 45 minutes (assuming that the food would be cold garbage) I went to pick it up. It was cold, and tasted like it was sitting around. I didn't even eat it. They also had me waiting there while the manager did paperwork for an employee. I had to ask to have the "convenience fee" or delivery charge to be taken off and wait while she checked the employees paperwork. I would probably pay more to have a decent pizza like the old Pizza Hut but instead keep ordering and hoping for the best but they really are terrible. I will try to make this the last time. Lastly, on the website I couldn't even find anywhere to email which is just dumb. It kept trying to get me to sign up for rewards. Thanks but I think I'm good on your rewards, crappy service, cold pizza, and bad attitude. I'd really just like my money back, and they can take the garbage pizza out of the trash if they want.

Worst experience I have ever had, and I grew up as a youngster loving Pizza Hut. What in the hell happened to this place? Poor service, VERY dirty, uncleaned tables and so forth. When we left there were 9 empty tables that still had not been cleaned up. 2 of these tables (right across from us) had dishes on them BEFORE we got there. We had to sit around filth during our entire dining experience. I took pictures as I plan on sending them to their corporate office. Wish I could post them on here.... NEVER going back!!!!

On the short list for most depressing place on Earth along with North Korea and the Eagles' Super Bowl trophy case. Run down (ripped booths, mismatched chairs) and seemed kinda dirty. But, if like Rob E. you get that pregnant lady craving for deep dish...Pizza Hut is still pretty good. And cheap. Servers were nice enough; I actually feel bad they have to work in such a sad environment.

This is the worst of the worst pizza huts I've ever visited! I had the worst service in the entire world. Here's the story. I order a pizza at 4 pm on a Saturday by phone. They tell me 20 minutes. I give them 45 minutes because if you've ever been to a Pizza Hut anywhere, they are known as being very slow. I get to the kirkwood hwy store and it's not ready. One of the 5!!!!!!! Yes 5!!!!!! Teens tells me they are just putting in the pizza? Not a soul in the store. The place was filthy, ( I guess it's too hard to put down the cell phone to do some work!) so of course you know where I told them to put the pizza. If you are someone who can't put the phone down at work, seek help.

They take forever!!! Unfortunately, this is the closest Pizza Hut to where I live. They say about 20-30 minutes for pick-up, but it usually takes at least an hour. I always end up waiting and then I wonder what the hell are they doing during that hour... If it takes longer and you are making customers wait then offer $5 off, a free soda, or something for the inconvenience.

This is the absolute worst Pizza hit ever. They ALWAYS tell you your pizza will take 3 hours. It's ALWAYS LATE. They NEVER know what to tell you when you call and say "My pizza is late. How long?" They just say "All orders are out." Not it'll be another 40 minutes (which is usually the case) or it will be there in 5 minutes. Nothing. We HATE them. Hate ordering. Hate getting delivery. Wish there was a place to give a survey on the ticket. What happened to "30 minutes or less" Jerks.

There is a reason that their business is dropping. Last three orders were didn't show for delivery, the next rude on phone, and the final was a wait and not even "I am sorry". No more visits for me.

Just had lunch at the Veale Road Pizza Hut...dropped $30.00 for the lousy lunch buffet and an order of what they call "boneless buffalo chicken". The manager should feel ashamed of himself as a business person. Salad bar looked liked it's been there since last week. Veggies all dryed out & limp. Buffalo chix came out with no sauce...not even on the side. Had to get up & go to counter to ask about the sauce. the worker behind the counter said it doesn't come with it and they never sauce them. What? They were not evenly cooked either. Wouldn't let my kid finish eating them. Lousy kitchen staff. I could go on & on. This place is a dump and the food is nasty. All this while the manager was loading 2 liters in a Refrig. I'm surprised their still in business. I will never ever visit this place again.

Like a full-term preggers lady, I had a craving one night. And heck, since all their pizzas are now only 10 smackers, I figured what the hey. Plus, i have a soft spot in my heart for the great huts of pizza. This was the family dinner spot growing up. Every Friday night we'd pile in the blue Chevy station wagon and head over to our friendly neighborhood Pizza Hut. An hour later, my mom would have 2 cheese shakers in her purse and we'd all be stuffed to the gills with greasy pan pizza. Then we'd head home for TGIF.... man, that Urkel was a character! But I digress... So this place is what it is... the pizza crusts are frozen, it's unhealthy as all get out and the quality is inconsistent. Man, I wish it didn't taste so darn good.

Unprofessional people. Saw a guy putting his hand in the carrot jug than eating than putting his hand back in. Mind you this is the refill jug for the buffet. Anyway they are always out of stuffed crust pizza and in an attempt to be funny they come off as arrogant and unapproachable.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
