Went here to order out a bakers dozen bagels. They had a very large variety of flavors of bagels, at 10:30 am. We got the blueberry, cherry vanilla, chocolate chip and two cinnamon crunch. The blueberry is always good, cherry vanilla has a tart twist due to the type of cherries used. Chocolate chip is self explanatory, but the cinnamon crunch was a treat! More like dessert, but very good with cream cheese. We were impressed with the quantity and variety of the breads available as well. Maybe get a loaf here for Sunday night dinner? We didn't have a meal here but I hear the food is good.

Went here today with my sister and we both ordered the chicken noodle soup. I was disappointed that there was hardly any chicken in either of ours.

We love Panera Bread, Food portions are enough to satisfy you. The salad is crispy and fresh. Sandwiches are amazing and tasteful. The atmosphere is soothing and pleasant. Will totally recommend.

This Panera Bread is in a strip mall at the southeast corner of Kirkwood Highway and Duncan Road. The parking lot actually seemed a bit inadequate for the Saturday morning crowd. It is also oddly steep for the area, although that's only an issue if your vehicle is prone to brake failure. Inside, the cashiers work slowly and one of them seemed to disappear for long periods of time, even though there was a line. Once I got past that, I thought the rest of the restaurant was okay. Food preparation was reasonably efficient and the ambiance was okay. They just have to do something about the cashier line.

Ate here for lunch meeting today - kinda late so wanted a reliable quick meal. I got it. We were both happy with our sandwiches. Nice vibe. Clean and great place to meet.

For as crowded as it gets, they process orders quickly and accurately. Food is great. Parking is a pain.

I've eaten at many Panera locations in the past. Somehow, this location has managed to miss on everything good about Panera, and has amplified all the bad. I don't expect much from fast food staff. Even with low standards, I can say that their attitude, speed, and competence was underwhelming at best. I have seen new restaurants that operated twice as smoothly with the entire staff being new and in training. But, who goes to a fast food chain for good service? Service aside, the food was absolutely ghastly. I have never gotten anything bad at any Panera location before, but this experience was a spectacular failure across the board. I ordered the steak and cheese panini and the French onion soup. The soup was impressively bad: onions that were gelatinous, disintegrated on the spoon, and could have been eaten through a straw. "Croutons" that were indistinguishable from stale Wonder bread. Grated cheese throughout that turned the entire bowl into a uniform slop similar to oatmeal. The broth, when uncontaminated, was tasty and well-seasoned, but overall the concoction seemed like it had been reheated for days. The panini was equally bad. "Steak" is apparently a euphamism for unseasoned, raw, bloody roast beef with the consistency of dollar store tuna, served at room temperature. Whatever cheese may have been present was liquid, and mixed with the excessive amount of dressing to form a horseradish flavored toothpaste-like goo. The bread was acceptable in flavor and texture, but was again room temperature, the grill marks on it clearly artificial. I have had Hot Pockets that more closely resembled a panini. In all, this was a complete disappointment, even using McDonald's standards of service and quality. The best part of the meal was the packet of potato chips that accompanied the sandwich.

Yes, I know I'm reviewing PANERA. Like, what is there to say about a PANERA? Well, the food is the food: pretty good, same as all of the other PANERAS. But i have to say this PANERA has the best customer service and kindest employees. I've been to a lot os PANERAS, with grouchy, unhappy, SO over it employees.....this place, not so. Everyone was genuinely interested in customer service and making sure we were happy. My friend wanted a particular item, but it wasn't available on the menu currently. A staff person brought a to go menu to our table so that she could choose something else and didn't have to leave the table. The line was long, but it didn't take very long for us to get our food. Happy to return here.

Went here a few weeks ago with my sister and boyfriend. Staff were very friendly and patient with our order. We didn't notice the long wait until the manager pointed it out that we had been waiting far too long for our food and complimented each of us with a pastry from the bakery! That was very unexpected! I thought maybe We just came on a day that all the staff were happy (noting the previous comments of miserable staff)...so I came back today for another go around. Same exceptional service! Even had my phone out reading orders to the cashier and she never lost eye contact with me. As for the food...great lunch option in a hurry or for a casual get together. Reasonable price and decent taste. Definitely enjoy the 'you pick two' option for my indecisive personality trait.

Essentially fast food, gussied up with a jazz XM station and reasonably fresh ingredients; the assembly-line experience is every bit as impersonal as a Burger King jaunt, and the prices are comparable, but as long as there's no pretense, you're in good hands. I've also never experienced the service issues others have. In fact, when last I found myself in Panera, the service was enticing enough to bring me back for future trips. A little background: I despise mayonnaise. I don't judge you if you enjoy mayonnaise, but it's a disgusting substance that should never have been invented, much less enjoyed a meteoric rise towards becoming an essential sandwich ingredient. Still, I understand that people like it, much in the same way that people strangely seem to enjoy Nickelback. To each his own. So when I discovered that the roasted turkey & avocado BLT boasted two slices of sourdough bread slathered in mayo, it was problematic for me. Every other ingredient of the sandwich was enticing, downright sumptuous; but that goopy white death paste stared at me from the plate. I just couldn't dig in, I decided; I needed a new sandwich. A little more background: I do not complain. When I receive poor service at a sit-down restaurant, I leave an 18% tip instead of my customary 30%. When my steak is overcooked, I make a mental note not to return to that particular steakhouse again, but I don't send it back. And when my Panera sandwich has an unforeseen ingredient, I'm certainly not going to angrily slam my sandwich on the counter and demand it be remade; I simply walked up to the counter, confirmed that mayo was an ingredient in the sandwich, and asked for a new one. I was quick to tell the nice guy behind the counter that I would pay for a new sandwich; after all, if they made it correctly, they shouldn't take the financial hit for my oft-fickle taste buds. And yet, even after offering to buy a new sandwich, this supremely nice man offered me a new platter, free of charge. Apologetic and kind of embarrassed, I accepted his offer, and enjoyed a delicious, fresh, and most importantly, mayo-free meal. I found the service to be above and beyond, and would return on this basis alone. Which leads me to one cautionary note: the ingredients advertised on the menu boards are not accurate. This should really only effect you if you're a picky eater; last time I was here, my chipotle chicken sandwich came with unadvertised tomatoes. I'm a tomato fan, so it was a pleasant surprise for me, but I remembered thinking that I would have been downright screwed if I didn't enjoy tomatoes. If you *are* a picky eater, you may want to ask about what you're getting into (or go somewhere else entirely) -- the menus don't necessarily prepare you for what you get.

Panera bread is favorite place of mine. However I have noticed that this location seems to be poorly located. I feel like the quality of service has gone down over the years however the food quality has remained the same. I really enjoy the food which is why I frequently visit here and why I will give it 4 stars.

Waited in line for 10 minutes before anyone noticed me, my order was wrong and they weren't really that friendly.

I did not run into the rude staff problem as the other reviewer. However, I tend to work a bit late at times and end up at Panera after 8pm. I have tried several times and each time I get there within an hour of closing there are never any bread bowls for the soup bread bowl option. I am a big fan of sourdough bread and soup. Unfortunately I can't comment on the Panera bread bowl since they never have it. The sandwiches are tasty with a nice broad selection as are the salads.

Okay, I suppose I can't give them one star since I'm using their free wifi to write this review right now, but I received the absolute worst service here and had only an okay lunch. Rude Cashier: "Are you ready yet?" [Who greets people this way?!] Me: Well, do you have a salad with balsamic dressing? RC: Um, yeahhhh. [While giving me a "are you kidding me?" look.] On all of them. [Note that this is not completely apparent on the sign.] Me: Okay, I'll have half sandwich and half salad, with balsamic. RC: Do you want everything on it? Me: What comes on it? RC: [Doesn't say anything, points to sign, gives me the look again.] Me: Okay, no mayo. And, could I have some tea? RC: Well, none are cold. Do you want a cup of ice? Me: Okay. RC: [Hands me a cup, doesn't indicate how to get said ice and when I go back to ask, she's gone.] It was like talking to a wall. Actually, I probably would've received better service from a wall (no attitude). The food's okay, and of course I like the free wifi. But, I'd rather go to a place where I get a little common courtesy.

I have avoided this Panera Bread restaurant for the last 7 years ever since I ordered a salad and found a big piece of a plastic bag mixed in with my greens. When I told the manager about it he picked up the plastic and said," I'm so sorry." Today I gave in and went there with a colleague to catch up before the school year begins. I ordered the chopped chicken salad with avocado. The avocado had obviously been pre-cut and was turning brown - it was also spotted like it had bruises. As I ate the lettuce there were more than several pieces that were dark, dark green and very wilted. You know - like right before they start to rot in the bag! Also the tomatoes were the lightest shade of pink. It's August for heaven's sake - you couldn' t use RIPE tomatoes? Of course the bread was really good - maybe Panera should stick to making BREAD and stay away from salads. It will be waaaayyy longer than 7 years before I even think of eating there again.

Panera Bread is a great place to stop in for lunch. I've tried quite a few of their sandwiches and haven't been disappointed. The Napa Almond Chicken salad sandwich has different things added to it like grapes but is good. My favorite is the Sierra Turkey sandwich. I like that the breads are unique. There are a few areas they need to improve on. First they need to invest in a ceramic knife to cut their fresh apples that you can get as a side. All of the slices turn very brown because they are using the wrong kind of knife to cut them. The Strawberry Salad seemed a little off last time we ordered it. The bakery items are good, but not great. Most of the time they taste a little dried out. They leave the pastries sitting out all of the time uncovered. I think they would be much better if you either get them fresh, or they figure out a way to cover all that stuff to keep it fresher. We eat here frequently. Our last visit the place was pretty dirty. Floors and all tables that were open were not clean. We had to flag someone down to clean a spot for us. They also need to revise their seating. With free Wifi people come in with their laptops (individuals) and sit at the booths made for 4 people so they can spread out their work. On the last visit all the booths were filled with 1 person on a laptop and all these tiny little tables for 3 are left. They need more booths. I do like that they have an outdoor seating area along the side which is great on a nice day. The french onion soup is the best and I liked the healthy chicken noodle. One of the most appealing things they have done recently is pull down the atrocious artwork they had on the walls that used to make me almost barf to look at them. There is now much more appropriate paintings on the wall that fit the style of a restaurant with a bakery in it.

Great sandwiches and reasonable prices. Putting the calories counts on the menu helps me decide what to get, not that i'm counting calories, I usually get the bacon turkey bravo.

Quick, good and healthy! What more do you need? I enjoy the Asian sesame salad and soup. To kill all the heathy eating try the chocolate pastry (chocolate & croissant) it's great!
